Let me start by saying that when I went to the showroom, the guys were extremely helpful and nice and very willing to help me pick out my flooring. I got 3 different floors for my home ( carpet, hardwood and ceramic tile). They cashed my check on May 5th 2021 and it was a substantial amount of money. It is now August 15th and this is my floors. The ceramic tile is very uneven and this shoe molding speaks for itself. The other pics are the area between my tile and hardwood. They had to fill it in with some kind of putty? They have NO communication whatsoever with each other and with their customers. I had to be the one to keep calling and finding out what the next step would be. They told me on 4 different occasions that they would be at my home and never showed up. I tried to be very patient with them and I am finally over it. I requested 3000.00 dollars of my money back( because I have to get another company to fix their mess). I was told that they would fix the problem if I would let them in my home. After 3 months of messy, unprofessional and no communication I am finished. Do yourself a favor and tell you family members that they really need to be careful and stay away from this company. Lastly, the text message that is on the pics speaks for itself. The last time I had anyone to come into my home and try and fix the problems this is what happened. They didnt show up AGAIN and I asked why and they wasnt aware (shocking). They then ask me to try and reach out to the installers (SERIOUSLY). This is the kind of company that should be ashamed of themselves by taking peoples money and being very dishonest. I am sure that they will try and blame this on me like they do the other people that have complained. BUT, the pictures speak for themselves.

WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DONE BUSINESS WITH, INSTALLERS THEY SENT OVER DID NOT KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING, ITS LIKE THEY CUT GRASS IN THE SUMMER AND DO FLOORING IN THE WINTER, PLANKS CUT TO SHORT AND TO LONG FROM WALL WERE BASEBOARD DID NOT COVER SPACE , CARPET WAS NEVER FINISHED TO DOOR TRANSITION AND WE PAID EXTRA FOR THAT SERVICE. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY DO YOUR HOMEWORK WE DO HAVE BETTER SKILLED FLOORING COMPANIES IN KNOXVILLE. I WOULD NEVER GO THERE FOR FLOORING AGAIN. NOT EVEN LET THEM DO MY DOG HOUSE FLOOR.

My personal opinion, Id save yourself the headach and go with another flooring company. In March we bought flooring from Johnson and sons. They told us they had to order it so we waited. Called the end of April to see if flooring had come in, which it had but they were waiting on the transitions to come in. Flooring was put down end of May. I called and texted the manager the same day because the installers put two different types of transition down going from the livingroom to the kitchen, one is rounded and one is flat. We understand that you cant buy the transition piece as long as we needed it to be but they can put the same type of transition down instead of using two different shapes. So after sending pictures to the manager he said they would order another piece and come out to fix it. Ash called me and said the company they get the transitions from is taking about 6 weeks to get products to them. I told her I understood and we just wanted this fixed. After calling several times with no response, I tried calling again last week and Ash said somebody could install on Monday, I told her that was fine. Monday the installer calls and asks if he can come Tuesday at 8am, I said yes because that would work better for me. Tuesday at 8am the installer calls and says he wont be at the house for an hour or so because he needs to go to Home Depot. So a family member is at the house waiting because I have to work. The installer pulls up the flat piece of transition just to put the same thing back down. What kind of idiot would do that? My family member tells him thats not right so the installer says they dont make the rounded transition piece anymore. Really?!?! So I call and ask to speak to a supervisor which Im told they would not be in until 11:30 but they would call me back. Still havent heard a word from anybody. Imagine that.

Sam is the most knowledgeable floor consultant that I have met to date. He spent quality time with my wife, listening to her wishes and provided the appropriate floor samples to meet her needs. Sam is top shelf and knows hardwood floors inside and out!Thanks again, Sam

When looking to find a quality flooring company we could trust to do the flooring renovations we needed we started asking around and Johnson& Sons came highly recommended by several friends.After meeting with Danny at the West Knoxville store and taking a couple samples home we decided to go with them because of the quality materials and great price.I also want to give high praise to our installer Alex! He was very professional and courteous and most importantly a skilled craftsman. We had several tricky corners and transitions navigate. He took his time and the end product was a beautiful new floor!I highly recommend that you consider Johnson and Sons for your flooring needs!

I came here on Saturday to look at carpet for a potential area rug. Sam was so friendly and helpful! He thoroughly explained everything without ever being pushy. Impressed with all the showroom options, I had my mom meet us over there. Sam then helped us browse over some hardwood and carpet options for a remodel for her house. He was so patient, we never felt rushed even though it was towards the end of the day. Wouldnt hesitate to come here again in the future - plus like I say their showroom has SO many awesome choices!

I without hesitation would recommend Johnson and Sons flooring to anyone in the market for new floor covering. I went to the Knoxville location and worked with Sam initially and had new carpet installed in three bedrooms. Then later I worked with Danny and ordered carpet to be made into an area rug. Both salesmen are knowledgeable, kind, and were a pleasure to do business with. Brian, the installation manager, is a true asset to this company and has gone above and beyond to help me with two issues that arose. He is very responsive, professional, and does whatever needs to be done to make things right. He went out of his way to personally deliver the new 11’ x 11’ area rug to my house because I was unable to transport it myself being a stay-at-home mom with an infant. I cannot thank Brian enough for his kindness and for the company as a whole for exceeding my expectations.

We LOVE our new floors! Johnson and Sons crew did a remarkable job with demolition of existing flooring on the entire main level and stairwells and then replacing them with all new hardwoods and bathroom tile. The intricate finish work on the stairwells is amazing! We enjoyed watching the project transform from outdated to current and fresh with the latest in flooring product. These are great folks to work with and we give them the highest regards for customer satisfaction.

Danny was awesome to work with! He was very knowledgeable, professional and very friendly. He provided us with many great options with no pressure to buy whatsoever. We waited 4 months for our floor and had to call frequently to check on status. The floors were finally installed but there were a couple cosmetic issues I had to point out to the installers. And a nail I had to later hammer in myself when my toe found it.I was prepared to give these folks another chance, since they already had our room measurements. When I asked for a quote, they sent the wrong information, and when I asked for an update, there was no response, even after 2 emails!I would not recommend this company to anyone. You guys make it too hard to do business with you.

I was very pleased with the process. Johnny was very helpful in the store. He was able to line up the measurements the day we bought the carpet, and helped with the scheduling. The crew that installed the carpet was very good as well. They were on time, able to complete the project earlier than scheduled, and did a good job of moving furniture without any damage. I would recommend Johnson and Son’s to anyone shopping for flooring.

Edit: Got our refund. Thank you.First we went to pick up our order at the distribution center, they told us the forklift was down and theyd call when it was fixed... never called. Then we ended up not needing out order anymore and are trying to cancel and get a refund on it but are being given the run around about that too.

I purchased vinyl flooring for my home after my finished basement flooded from burst water meter. This was the grand opening weekend for the Blount County Johnson and Sons store.Sadly there was an almost 3 month delay to receive the flooring from the producer, not Johnson & Sons fault. However for the next few weeks there was a lack of adequate communication with the office. After I made several trips to the store, things were worked out.Once the flooring was received and installation scheduled, everything went like clockwork. The installers were very skilled workers who obviously knew what they were doing. They did excellent job. Im pleased with the final product. (Btw, I was pleased that there was always at least one worker who could speak with me in English.)

Johnson & Sons installed Vinyl flooring in my kitchen. Installer and manager agreed that the flooring had some manufacturing defects, took pictures, and said they would file a report to the Manufacture (Coretec). Excuse after excuse, and finally refused to answer my phone calls and emails!

Just watched them throw trash out of the window of their truck onto the road. Doesnt take much to spot a trashy company. Black F-150 covered in BBB stickers. Headed east on AJ infront of Valvoline at the red light. Just wanted to make you aware. It was thrown out the window. Watched him do it and roll his window back up.

Vincent is an extremely knowledgeable and personable salesman. Very happy with our carpet and the installation crew. Johnson Carpet provided excellent customer service.

Danny is wonderful to work with, he definitely knows the flooring products and will take his time to help you make a decision. After going to the big box flooring store three times and never getting any help it was such a pleasure to find Johnson and Sons!

We had our Mohawk brand carpet installed several years ago with a “lifetime guarantee”. When we noticed the carpet buckling in areas and fibers coming out, we called to let them know. Owner came out, took pics pulled up some areas and said he was referring a claim to Mohawk for defective carpet. Then he came a second time weeks later bc he didn’t get the right pictures. Over a month later, the mohawk guy comes out and inspects the carpet. Then nothing. We waited a month and called only to be told “we will get back to you”. Called again weeks later, & we’re told the same thing. They said they’d call next week, nothing. We call again, get the run around and excuses. This repeated for months. It has now been 6 months and nothing has been done. Our carpet hasn’t been repaired or replaced, we get no communication, they dance around the issue and keep passing it off, and it’s the worst communication from any company I’ve ever dealt with. Seriously disappointed. So far, they’ve shown no interest in honoring either Mohawk’s lifetime guarantee or their own lifetime guarantee. Would give zero stars if I could. Spend your hard- earned money elsewhere.

My wife and I walk in around 1:00pm on Friday, there was only one salesman on the floor , he did tell us he was with a customer and would be with us when he was finish , about 20 minutes later he came and help us , and we told him what we we’re looking for , another person walk in and he left us to go talk to that person, and after about 10 minutes and he didn’t look like he was coming back to help , he could have told the person I be back after He helps us ,so we left, why would I spend my money at place like this .

The level of service and craftsmanship we received from Johnson & Sons was impressive. Sean, who assisted us with picking out our flooring in their showroom, was very helpful and quick to answer any question we had--even when we called him on his days off. The installation manager and crew went above and beyond to make sure our flooring installation was done timely and to our satisfaction. When one of the installation crew had an emergency come up, the installation manager Aaron stepped in, put on work clothes, and came to do the installation work himself to ensure the installation timeline was met. The installation crew was very considerate and pleasant to have in our house, and they did great work. We plan to use Johnson & Sons again the next time we replace flooring in our home.

I purchased my Luxury Vinyl Flooring from Johnson & Sons a few months ago & finally got installed a short time ago & my wife & I love it! We worked with Jon Shown & it was a pleasure from the first day we walked in the door until when he followed up after our install was done! He was very knowledgeable & took his time to explain everything in detail to make sure we knew everything about the process! Work performed was poor had to rework and redo there work .Request the company to come and look at the problems. Each time they sent someone out I got answers like they could not get any more title or that they would need to talk to their supervisor.Now over a year and they will not honor thier work.Please dont use this company or you might regre6 it like I do

Absolutely Terrible Communication.Every single time we had a scheduled appointment, the installers were either late or did not show up at all. At one point an installer had called in sick that day and I did not know about it until I called to see what the delay was. After multiple delays, Aaron had a crew come in over the weekend (which we appreciate).A significant portion of our flooring was installed over the old flooring to make up time. Getting a refund for the cost of the flooring not removed was like pulling teeth and it took days to get a straight answer, let alone our money back.We later found some damaged planks from the carpet installer cutting carpet on our new floor. We scheduled an appointment for the repair and was told wed get a call on the day before to set a time. We did not. We did not receive a call the next day (the scheduled day) either. I called in and was told I would receive a call shortly with details. I did not until two days later.This was the pattern we dealt with throughout the entire process.Literally every day that we had scheduled an installation is a day my wife or I had to take off work. We could have been back at work if anyone had bothered to communicate with us.Absolutely no regard for our time was displayed until AFTER we said something. I understand certain projects and events occur that are out of anyones control but there is NOTHING keeping you from giving your paying customers a heads up.We are extremely dissatisfied with how we were treated.

These guys are top notch A+++ people to deal with & Id highly recommend them to anyone!I needed two 20 x 10 custom rugs made for a trade show & was on a tight deadline. I reached out to 3 places & was point blank told no it couldnt be done. I called these guys & spoke with a young man named Jon Shown & not only was he able to get it done but he was able to deliver them 2-3 days before my deadline when again I was point blank told no by 3 other stores here in Knoxville!Ill never go anywhere else for my flooring & you shouldnt either bc you can tell that they care bout providing quality customer service!

Ive been wanting to have hardwood in my living room for years, and in a manner of weeks, Johnson and Sons helped make that happen. If anyone is in need of new flooring, but does not know what to ask or how to ask, I strongly recommend entering their office and meet with Danny Ramos. He is fully equipped with product knowledge and will patiently and professionally explain their product that makes it easy to understand. Bill was diligent in following up when the boards arrived and Joseph had everything finished 3 days before I thought it would be done. Everything was done beyond expectation. Ill definitely require their service again in the near future for the rest of my house.

I recently ordered my tile and carpet from Johnson and Sons Flooring. I had an incredible experience working with this company! From the beginning, when I met Danny Ramos (sales consultant) he was nothing but friendly, considerate and very knowledgeable about flooring. I found that after meeting Doug, Mr. Johnson, Jared Johnson and Bill that I only became happier with my decision to order my tile and carpet from this company. I really enjoyed the personal attention this store gave me. I tend to do a lot of outside research on products before I buy them and this was definitely the case with the Happy Floors tile and the Mohawk Smartstrand Silk carpet I bought. I had many questions and Danny never seemed tired about answering them. He was enthusiastic and truly seemed like he enjoyed talking about the products. It was refreshing to see someone love their job like he does! At the beginning of my tile search, I visited another company and I didnt get nearly the same treatment as I did at Johnson and Sons. The salesman there didnt even take the time to show me many of the better floor choices they had and told me just to look around. He made me feel like he had better things to do. Personal service is very important to me. Value is, too. Not only was Danny friendly, but also he beat the competitors price on the tile I wanted! Great experience all around! We are working on our business flooring, which can be very difficult. They are very knowledgeable and helpful in the selection process. This is a wonderful family owned company with lots of helpful sales people, especial Sean. They seem to really care about doing the job right, that says a lot!

The install was great, however I have been having service issues and cannot get anyone to return a phone call. I have called several times for help and everyone is really nice and then says I will call you back... Still waiting for that call. At this point my next call will be to the carpet manufacturer. I have called twice today and no one answers the phone. **** Update**** The Manager did return my calls from his cell phone. They were having phone issues. They definitely took care of my needs. I was very upset with the lack of customer service until i got the management involved. I will gladly purchase more flooring from them and have adjusted the rating to 5*.

The manufacturer sent a poor shipment of wood that did not match the sample we had selected. Becky at Johnsons and Sons took over and did everything for us! She made it so easy and it was obvious that they care about their customers having an exceptional experience. Installers showed up right on time and were very professional. We are so happy that we had them in our corner to take care of the manufacturer mistake!

After having a very frustrating and disappointing experience at a local home store, I literally happened upon Johnson & Sons Flooring. Danny Ramos quickly greeted me and offered help. I was in no mood to talk to another salesperson, however, his genuine warmth and kindness quickly changed my mood. Johnson & Sons Flooring installed beautiful carpet and hardwood in our home. Everyone we worked with were exceptional from Danny in sales to Steve and Robbie who installed the hardwood and everyone in between. They worked with us to get the best price, schedule the installation at our convenience, and were always available to answer questions. Danny, our sales person, worked hard after the installation to help us find the right rug runner for our hallway. I cant say enough great things about this company and the people who work there. We just had Johnson & Sons install new flooring in our condo and I must say this was the best flooring experience from start to finish we’ve ever had. WARNING DO NOT USE!!!We used this company for purchase and installation of our whole house 20K worth.It is now 13mths and they still have not fixed our faulty carpet.There was no customer service or personal responsibility for the problems always past to the next person and lied the most amazing lies. We have never been told the same answer twice.

Love Johnson & Sons flooring! I was in desperate need of new carpet in the master bedroom, and I needed it installed as quickly as possible due to family coming into town for a wedding. Becky in sales made all this happen! The carpet is beautiful, and we couldnt be happier with all the people we encountered at this AWESOME company!

Use this company upon a recommendation from a friend of a friend. They were very friendly. I seem to be very helpful and knowledgeable. But I wasnt a fan of their sales tactics. We had a limited budget , and instead of saying... What the money you have this is gonna be your best bet. Instead they hyped up what was sold and claimed to give us a deal. The pad is way too thin. Also, they subcontract the install. They didnt have me on the schedule for the correct day. When I gave him push back they fixed it. And then the day of they said the guy got the flu. So they sent somebody else out 6 hours later. there were gaps between the wall in the carpet. The scenes were not trim down. The stairs were done terribly. I had to have the people come back out two different times to fix places.

My wife and I just had new carpet installed in our upstairs and couldnt be happier! Becky was so helpful throughout the whole process and never rushed us in making our decision. My wife went in to consult with her a week before the install to make sure we knew what we had to do to prepare and she was very patient in answering our questions and helping us de-stress over the process! Hector and his crew did a great job with the install and were prompt in arriving both days. They even helped make some suggestions that improved the installation. We love our new carpet and feel like not only was Becky very helpful and knowledgeable throughout the process, but we made a friend as well. I would highly recommend Johnson and Sons to anyone considering new flooring.

I would never work with anyone else for flooring. At least 5-6 years ago we had Johnson and sons tile our downstairs bathroom and carpet the the rest. We had an accident with our fireplace and it burned some carpet. I immediately went to Johnson and sons for help and thats exactly what they did. Tom came out to assess the situation and said yes it could be repaired, again 5 years after I bought the carpet. Tom came the next week and repaired the burn with no charge. I couldnt believe it I was so upset over the burn spot about 8 inches in diameter and now you cant even tell. I wouldnt trust my flooring to anyone else. Thank you Tom and your staff.

Johnson & Sons has done amazing job once again! I have used them a couple times in the last few years as I was remodeling our home. A couple weeks ago we had a flood that ruined all the hard wood we had put in. So back to the store I sent. Danny Ramos was amazing to work with! He provided us with a very personalized experience. Through all the phone calls, multiple measuring appointments rescheduled and quotes adjusted, he was very helpful. Everyone should go see him!

Heard about this company on the radio one morning when I was listening to the Mark & Kim show bc Kim had got her flooring I stalked by these guys & just raved about Johnson & Sons so when the time came that we needed flooring we went straight to Johnson & Sons & could not have been happier with our decision! Our Salesman Jon Shown was very professional throughout the whole process & made sure we got the right product at the right price & we couldn’t be happier. We highly recommend this company & talk to Jon bc there’s no doubt that customer service is priority #1!!!

Danny Ramos was fantastic in helping us decide on the product for our computer room to replace a carpet. He explained the pros and cons of products, priced them out for us then sent us home with our selection to look at in the room. We chose the RevWood plus which looks great. A great salesman, personable, not pushy and very knowledgeable. The 3 man team of Aaron Reynold who installed the product were also great, very clean with the removal of the old carpet and quick with great workmanship on installing the RevWood. It looks better than we ever dreamed it would. We did have one little glitch with the scheduling that took a couple of calls to clarify and clear up over the matter of timing from 9 to 11 turned out to be closer to 2 due to some problems with another install. We will definitely use them again for any flooring needs

As a follow up to the post that Jamie M made.... The store had agreed to fix the issues with the flooring in the kitchen as well as refund a portion of the installation fee. The amount they promised to refund was $500.00. We received a call from the head of installation to schedule the repairs. I asked when the check would be delivered and he stated that he did not handle that. I asked him to speak to someone who did handle that and we would schedule the repair when the check was ready. He then stated that they would not pay the money until the reviews on social media had been changed or deleted. At that moment I advised him that the reviews were a truthful account of our experience and in no way would we change one word. I told him the very next call I receive from Johnson and Sons must be from the owner in order to rectify the situation. This may shock you, but the owner has not called. It is really a shame. This company had a chance to prove that buying local was the correct decision. Give us the money you promised and fix the floor. Pretty simple. I hope that all who read this will consider other options before making a purchase and installation at Johnson and Sons.

We had them price our flooring and it came out to almost exactly the same price as home depots estimate. The difference is that the installers at Johnson and Sons are also employees. They care about your opinion of the company. You also get far better quality. We were told we had the worst subfloors ever. One for the record books. Fearing the worst, I had them start the job and was surprised at the low additional charge for repairs. They did an exceptional job from install to clean up. If you need a transmission for your car, you dont call a plumber. If you want flooring, call Johnson and Sons, a flooring store.

Truly a great place to do business!! They helped me find a product that i was confortable with and also helped me find the perfect color for my house! After they got everything measured, it was all ready to be installed like that! Jacob abd Danny were both super nice and helpful! I would reccomend them to anyone!

We purchased carpet for our entire new house. Overall is was a good experience. Everything went smooth from the purchase process (Thanks Jessica and Jared), through the installation process. Later we had a minor issue and I came in and spoke with Adam about it. He was rather rude and walked me back to the warehouse. In 3 days it was repaired by the same carpet guy. Overall I would recommend this family owned company.

My carpet was installed Incorrectly The seams show Profusely. The installer said that the Carpet wasnt properly measured so he had to turn they carpet pieces away from each other to make them fit .this is why i have seams showing.my carpet cleaner recommeded a negitive review.we will no longer use Johnson & sons

Danny Ramos was very helpful throughout the process. A competitor refused a special installation request, but Johnson & Sons installers had no problem with it. The new carpet looks great!!

Terrible experience. I am not sure what is going on with this business, but the customer service is definitely not what it used to be. Purchased our flooring and paid well over a month ago. Heard from them over a month ago about our install date which is supposed to be tomorrow. Just called them because I havent heard from them in all this time. Now told they are not sure it will be tomorrow. Absolutely done using this company and will never recommend them to anyone although I have numerous times in the past. What a complete disappointment!

Are you looking for a company where the customer comes last? Do you want condescending employees who talk down to customers, especially if they are women? This is the place for you! No promises kept, run around on trying to get answers and even straight lies from this “family owned” company. We had their service manager say that none of the Johnson family was there to answer questions until we asked one of the people in the front if they were Johnson family members and low and behold, they were! On top of that, they will harass you if you leave a negative review. Spend your money anywhere else than with this (dysfunctional) family company.

The people that work there are very professional. They have wide range of products and no high sales pressure, the just assist with knowledge on the products and let you buy.

Very frustrating experience, would not recommend. Seems they have a shortage in workers and have taken on way too much work to handle. Horrible customer servoce and no follow through. I was rescheduled multiple times and 3 different set of tilers came to my house and the job is still not done 3 months after payment! We had to pay 100% up front and now we understand why...we even had a repair man yanked from our home in the middle of the job!! We are still fighting to get our labor costs back and have no faith in this company.

Edit: Went from 5 stars to 1. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. We were told carpet would be here today (Tuesday), Friday at the latest. I called to get an update, SURPRISE! Carpet is back ordered for 3 weeks. Manager, Danny literally offered no remedy, just kept saying I cant control what you were told or the warehouse, etc. He did offer another carpet, but it was too light, when i told him that he kepy insisting its really not that different, we can install it. Again, no, it is too light. Well, I guess we can call you in 3 weeks with the carpet comes in. Again, no. As explained when we ordered the carpet, we will be movrd in by then and have no flooring in those areas. We cant live on subflooring. Completely disappointment and outraged. We were planning on doing our tile and bathrooms with them next. Will never do business with them again.1000% recommend. Sean was Great! Very knowledgeable and personable. Worked with our budget to get a GREAT deal. Cant wait for our new floors!

Maybe i’m speaking too soon because our flooring project is 90 percent complete. However we went to our house this afternoon and was completely amazed at the beautiful workmanship that has gone into the project. I have to give my wife credit for picking out the great flooring style. You guys, Danny, Becky and all the workmen (installers) have done nothing short of amazing us since we first walked through the front of your store. Congratulations to you on doing a job anyone would be proud of and also congratulations to us for being made so aware of your quality work. The product, Sequoyah Floors, Hickory, distressed and scraped has given me a whole new look at ur house. We love it! Please finish strong so we can brag on you forever!Steve Teague, Knoxville

July 1, 2018Consumers,I am writing this review out of sheer frustration. I hope, for those who read this will be discouraged from doing business with a company who damages their property and refuses to pay for the damage that they caused.On April 14, 2018, I paid Johnson and Sons flooring 1,308.00 for carpet and to install the carpet on two sets of stairs. On June 7, 2018 the installer (who spoke little to no English) showed up at 4:30 in the afternoon with two boys, one of which could not have been over 12. Never did they even mention the issue with my sheetrock.After the old carpet was removed, the installer started laying the new carpet. I did not stand over him as I was having other services rendered to my home.When he finished, I could not believe my eyes!!! Two holes were punched out of my sheet rock and the line of the stairs where the old carpet covered, was exposed; I could even feel that the padding was not laid over the nose of the stairs as well as a missing piece on the landing. Also my just painted walls were smudged terribly, even at 6 foot. So we had to clean and repaint.I called Johnsons to describe the problems and even sent pictures of the issues. The installation manager came once and then a few days later Mr. Tom Johnson came, himself, to see the problems. He agreed that the carpet not only was installed improperly, but he said that I have structural problems. I asked him why someone would even start and continue to lay the carpet under the circumstances and why do I have two holes punched in my walls???Mr. Johnson agreed to remove and replace the carpet and fix the padding, but he is not willing to repair the holes in my walls. His suggestion was to have stair skirts installed. After four estimates, one for 1,100.00 and three between 500.00 and 550.00; I now would have invested almost 1,500.00 in one set of stairs. WE have talked on numerous occasions to no avail, which made me decide that they pick-up the carpet and reimburse me for this horrible job and fix the holes in my drywall.I also asked the carpenters who came, how many yards of carpet do my stairs require. It appears that I was sold more carpet than was needed. And agreed with us on the very poor job the installers did.As of, today, the second set of stairs that I paid for is still NOT finished, I have two holes in my walls and Mr. Johnson will not agree to repair the damage. I am so disappointed to have paid my bills with Johnson and Sons and that I have had to make all the follow up calls about my concerns. They were not pro-active dealing with the issues.I am taking out a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and plan to tell everyone that I know to avoid the frustration and getting cheated by Johnson and Sons.Shame on you Johnsons!

Was very dissatified with installation by subcontractors; However Aaron, who is the installation supervisor listened to my complaints & sent a capable crew, including himself to fix the mistakes!! Thank you Aaron!!!

Went too 5 different places to look for vinyl flooring and Johnson and sons were the nicest people to work with. Aleesha remember used from before and had special sample picked out for us.

Excellent service, quality work. Very nice people to work with.
