When I went with my daughter and step daughter all of us were equally and greatly entertained. There is literally some thing there for every person. Young, old, wanting to read, paint, sculpt, learn, create. If you want to know about it, there is a book for it. Not to mention magazines, toys, coffee, and snacks and food. There are definitely more than just books at the book store these days. And I would always prefer a bound, either hard cover or paper back over a screen any day!!

Love this book store. Looks like an amazing place to stop in, grab some coffee and read, we just didnt have the time. Great selection of books and then some. A bit pricy, but totally worth it. Definitely going to come back.

Good customer service. Feels welcoming to be there. Ive been going here since late 1990s but preferred Borders back then. Borders shut down while Barnes and Noble survived and is actually thriving.

Best Starbucks pastry in Knoxville, good selection, friendly employees

Placed an online order and was able to pick up the next day. Unlike the B&N in Chattanooga. Placed an online/pick up order. The order went through! Next day they sent an email saying it was no longer available and refunded my money. I was very unhappy as it was a limited edition vinyl and I had purchased the last one. Im sure what had happened was an employee didnt check the online orders, so therefore my vinyl wasnt pulled from the shelves. This really should be a 1 star. But that wouldnt be fair for this store. Chattanooga should get the one star. Instead of driving 2 miles to the Chattanooga location, we had to drive 80+ miles, to Knoxville, to get the item I purchased. Thanks B&N!

These people do what they can to help out and definitely go the extra mile to deliver customer needs. They’re very polite as well. You all are very much appreciated.

Always a cool.fun experience. The pretty lady tall blonde at the CS desk with killer sleeve tatoos actually walked me to the travel section and located the exact book I was looking for! Love my Barnes spot to find items like candles and vinyl records is so unique and awesome ! Love the cafe mocha samples! Such a treat I could literally stay all day !❤❤❤❤❤

We had a great time today at the meet and greet with Cat in the Hat! We didnt feel rushed or hurried in our interaction, and we even decided to stay for story time and craft time! In my time on this planet I have been to many bookstores. This Barnes & Noble has an excellent and easy to navigate layout. I would highly recommend that if you are a bibliophile and are in the Knoxville area that you check them out.

Books and yarn are my total downfall. I can, and do, spend hours in the book store and they have magazines too. A huge selection of them with plenty of crocheting pattern collections and now my newly learned hobby, knitting. I have to make a quick stop in the book store whenever I come into town. It just wouldnt seem right not to stop in and visit all my favorite authors.

The Knoxville Barnes & Noble is a little on the small side, as such certain sections are all but non-existent such as the local lore and ghost stories. I may have better luck in October rather than June.

Nothing beats going to Barnes & Noble. This store is always clean and well organized. Associates are always helpful and friendly. The smell of coffee and baked goods from the Starbucks makes me want to curl up with a book and stay there all day.

I went solely for regular stationery,the sheets not thankyou cards,and I found a good selection right away. Was hard to decide which one to choose,they were all so pretty,so I ended up buying two different ones,pleased with them both! Cant wait to write my first letter,now- only thing is the decision of which one design to use! A good decision and pleased with whichever one Ill choose!

Good store with large volume of books. I spent most of the time in the sports section and was disappointed at the dearth of sports reference titles. Many of the books were politically based.

Nice bookstore with a good variety of books, especially for teenagers. Items on sale are placed up front including accessories for the book lover. Great place to find Christmas presents. Easy to locate. Positioned at the end of a strip shopping center on Kingston Pike, about 2 blocks west of West Town mall. Take the West Town mall exit from I40/75 and turn right. Bookstore is on the right.

I always enjoy the selection at Barnes and Noble. They can be confusing but they are always enjoyable.

Lets just say that Books a million probably earned a new customer today and Barnes and Noble lost a very loyal one. I stopped in to quickly grab a book that Id wanted, and apparently my dog got ill while we were there and had an accident. This is mortifying enough as it is, but then one of your sales assistants rushes up to me as Im trying to check out and Very Loudly begins to chastise me in front of the other patrons. I couldnt check out and leave because there was only one register open and he was embroiled in an extremely lengthy discussion and transaction of some sort. There were many people waiting to check out, and numerous employees chatting with each other, but no one seemed to recognize the need to open a register. Very disappointing.

They have everything I want except an occult section. At least I couldnt find one... i didnt ask anyone for help because I didnt want to. So they might have that just... somewhere amongst the religion books. I also didnt really search too hard there because Christianity makes me uneasy and most of them seemed to be Christian texts.

I visited the Kingston Pike Barnes and Noble today. Prior to visiting, I heard The CDC had new stats on the number of Covid cases and deaths. Out of more than 160,000 deaths, only 9,210 have actually died of Covid. In essence, CDC admitted there is no pandemic.Knowing that, I walked unmasked in a store with few customers. Upon entering the coffee area with tables placed at a distance from each other and people seated unmasked, the employee with a mask pulled up to her eyes, said that I had to wear a mask. I guess she wanted me to put a mask on until I was seated with a drink. I told her the new stats from CDC. She wasn’t interested. She was fearful to be in my presence and withdrew. Her only concern was following orders. That should cause everyone concern! What has happened that people are so fearful? There are more people dying in car wrecks than Covid and yet these same fearful people get in their car everyday. My conclusion: Barnes and Noble isn’t in the business to sell books.It is so strange that businesses are no longer interested in doing business. Their primary concern is conditioning people to follow orders however absurd their directives.

My boyfriend and I walked in here with no mask on, let me remind you, while walking in, there’s tables in the Starbucks area with many people seated with NO mask on. I guess you can only catch Covid while standing?? Makes ZERO sense.. My bf and I walked straight to the section we needed and planned to get our books and leave. However, a staff member noticed us from all the way across the bookstore (it’s a pretty big place) and ran all the way over to us to tell us to put a mask on. No one was even around us. We left because he would not stop harassing us and standing over top of us. If he was that worried about Covid, I don’t understand why he felt the need to get so close to us just to tell us to put a mask on.. Definitely will not be back.

An absolutely massive magazine choice can be found here, and now its the only game in town with this huge selection. I go to B&N to get embroidery magazines from the UK.. cant get those at Wal-Mart. They have lots of fun gifty stuff too. I wish they were a little more competitive price wise, but there is the membership thing I suppose. I still love walking around in a book store a inhaling that fresh book smell...and there is lots of that here. 😄

Very clean Barnes and Noble and well organized. What prevented this from being a five star rating was the ever so slow checkout process. There was one person in front of me and it took 10 minutes to get to the counter. Otherwise this is a great place to get a good book.
