We want to support local businesses so go in here about once a year but are disappointed every time. The employees were all lounging on furniture while one employee worked the phones. We asked about going to the clearance center and were told nothing was in there, the employee refusing to even walk over and let us look. As we walked by the clearance center we saw the perfect nightstand for my daughter but that was a lost sale on their end.This was not a case of an employee shortage, simply employees refusing to do their job.I dont know why I keep trying to shop there.

In these trying times there have been numerous hurdles in everyday life, our experience with Sofas and More was actually very pleasant. Debbie was extremely helpful in assisting us in finding a new sectional sofa that we liked and was available for quick delivery. The other key to our total experience was Matt. Very pleasant, listened and reacted to our needs. They make a very accommodating team. It is very obvious that customer satisfaction is their main focus. Delivery was on time and took time to make sure that our sectional was assembled in the best configuration for our room and how we planned to us it. Thanks are not enough.

My wife and I bought a sectional and recliner from Sofas & More about 24 years ago, still have the recliner, and it still looks just like it did the day we bought it. Good quality furniture. We stopped by the other day, and looking to update our living room. Sofas & More have a very friendly, helpful sales staff with a large selection of name brands like England, and Lazy boy. Easy financing.

We bought a sofa and recliner a couple of weeks ago and tonight we went back for an ottoman. We had a very pleasant experience both times. Our sales lady, Debbie, was very sweet and helpful. We would definitely go back for future furniture needs.

I had been looking for a sectional sofa for 2 weeks. Every store I had gone to either didnt have what I wanted, or couldnt get it in until April or June. I was about to give up my search when I Googled furniture stores near me and this store popped up. I told my husband that we should try one more store and if we dont find anything, we are done looking for this year. So on Saturday we went when the store opened, and immediately as we walked in we were greeted and spoken to like we were old friends. Debbie came up to us and walked us around the store and gave us a flyer for the sale for that day. She did not hover around, she did not pressure us to buy anything, she was just there if we needed. We finally found a sofa that was going to fit our house, and we were told we could pick it up as soon as Monday. I was so happy I almost cried. All this searching and the last store we go to, I find something I love.We picked up the sofa on Monday and it was packaged very neatly and even came with throw pillows! That made my day. The sofa is comfy and was very easy to assemble. I would reccomend this store over and over again. Thank you for all the help

The staff at Sofas & More in Halls Crossroads (Knoxville) is absolutely the best. The selection of furniture there is great. We found a wonderful sectional for our den. Everyone complements us not only on it’s looks but also on it’s comfort. Kathy was the salesperson who helped us. She went out of her way to assist us not only with furniture but area rugs that complimented the sectional. Matt came out to help with a small tear in one of the pieces of the sectional. He offered us options from waiting until a new one came in or taking it home and having a replacement sent as soon as it came in.Our furniture was delivered yesterday by two very friendly, helpful young men. The set everything up, making sure we were happy with everything.Matt called to follow up with us and make sure everything was satisfactory. He was very helpful and courteous.I can’t say enough about Sofas & More. From the furniture selection to the amazing staff this business earns my highest praise. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great shopping experience.

We ordered a pair of gliding recliners on November 6, 2019. We were told by sales staff they were already on order and should be there in about 2 weeks. Finally, on January 12, 2020 (over 8 weeks) we get a call they had arrived. We wasted 3 hours and drove 100 miles to pick them up. When we got them home we found they had ordered the wrong model. When I called, they acted like it wasnt their fault because the sales lady wrote the wrong model down. Hey... she works for YOU. They tried to get us to take a floor model which we declined. They said a new one should be on truck tomorrow and said I would have to waste yet another 3 hours of my time and 100 miles of gas to exchange. They refused to deliver to correct THEIR mistake.This company is horrible and does not deserve your business. They have zero ethics. An ethical company would accept THEIR error and make it right at little inconvenience to the customer. I will never shop here again and I STRONGLY suggest you do not either,

My husband and I needed to outfit our living room with new furniture. The team at Sofas & More is kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. Barry and Matt are extremely helpful. Barry assisted us in our purchases, explain different options for fabric and warranties. Matt made the check out and delivery options easy. They had a sale going on and we were able to purchase more due to the discount. The selection is great and the options to order are endless. Our experience was wonderful! We won’t be shopping anywhere else in Knoxville for furniture. I would strongly recommend Sofas & More for your furniture needs.

Very disappointed in a rocker I purchased. Spoke with store mgr and was told because of covid it could not be exchanged because I had had it two weeks. The chair had been sit in probably only three times and was moved into another room. If it had been only a few days verses two weeks it could have been exchanged. Needless to say I will not be going back to that store.

We came here after several negative experiences at Lazy Boy Galleries on Kingston. Debbie and Matt were knowledgeable and patient with our multiple visits filled with questions. We purchased several pieces at a fair price. We would definitely recommend this location.

Barry the legend always suggests the best furniture and knows how to make buying a new sofa a very enjoyable experience I highly recommend calling ahead and making sure Barry is working before you go in to buy your furniture!

We bought 2 reclining sofas and a recliner from them at the end of 2017. It took about 2 mo for us to receive the furniture. Within 8 mo of getting the sofas, the seams started coming off from the seat cushions. They were nice enough to send a guy out to replace those. Within a month after that, seams came off the headrests. This time they directed us to the safeware warranty. USELESS. Denied our claim because they said it was due to gradual wear and tear. Spent $1800 per sofa and another $800 on the power recliner and signed up for that godforsaken warranty only to take one on the chin. Not to mention we spent another $5000 on a very nice home office suite from them. And this is why next time we will shop at big box stores for our furniture. Horrible experience.

Walked in, was stared at with no greeting. Walked the floor with zero employee assistance. Walked out the door with stares. I found the help and friendliness at Rooms to Go where I financed several pieces of furniture for my new apt.

Shopped La-Z-Boy dealer for sofa and 2 chairs. Finalizing an $8K order, then had an issue with the manager. Got a refund.Found Sofas & More listed on the La-Z-Boy website as an authorized dealer.Debbie got us the exact model/color/leather/power upgrade-special order for $2200 less.

Bought a Couch and love seat during the sale bought the 5 year warranty. Needed the love repaired.....3 months later still working on it. ABSOLUTELY PISS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER THE SALE!! If I could I wouldnt even give them a one star . My recommendation is folks go else where and pay a little bit more .

Great products but poor customer service after the sale. We purchased 5 year protection plan for our chairs. Now that we need to use the plan, we keep getting the run around. You can buy good furniture almost anywhere, but good service is priceless. Very disappointed.

Nice selection of furniture. I didnt like they followed us around the whole time. We told them we just wanted to look. I think they looked at us like fresh meat.

I would have given them 2 stars a year ago after not honoring my protection plan. However, after I have followed up and talked with Matt he has made it up and more. Matt in customer service has bent over backwards to provide good service. I am so appreciative for what he has done for us.

Spent over 12.00 dollars. Received table with defect. Rescheduled to get new table. Talked to deliver man twice. Set time. Changed my plans and rushed home. They didnt show. I called the store. Spoke to Jeff (the manager). He was NO help!!!Rude. Rude. Rude. He said he would bring me my table after a long argument. But he sent the someone else.

We were there this past Saturday and when we walked in there was three or four men at the front desk no one spoke to us at all until a lady came from the far part of the store to help us... Because of the unfriendliness we wasnt about to purchase furniture from there so they lost about $6,000 cash from us...

Extremely dissatisfied with your store. I live and work in this community and have recommended your establishment since you opened. Yes Im that young! I recommended my daughter and son in law go for their first major mattress purchase. What a nightmare! After spending $800, waiting for 2WKS past delivery promise date, YOU STILL made them leave work and WAIT for delivery drivers that were NOT ON time. Poor business and sad that you are still open in this community. Thats just the beginning folks, after 8days of sleeping on the brand new mattress it looked like an elephant and a pea had been playing pingpong on it for 30+yrs! They did exactly what I told them to do (if you are not happy with a major purchase) which was ask for an upgrade NOT a refund. YOU absolutely refused to accommodate, even insulting their reasons for asking. You should be ashamed of the way this was handled and you better believe Ill never recommend your place of business AGAIN.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Not one employee acknowledged us while we were there and they really didnt with the other customers. 3 employees walked past us and didnt say a word. Not a good selection and immediate bad service means bad service in future after purchase. We will never go back there.

I really dont want to say bad things about sofa and more but I will say this if you buy anything from there DO NOT take out the insurance it is awful I paid a lot of money for my sectional couch ( southern motion leather) that ripped down between the cushions not even a year after I bought it and southern motion did replace them BUT it did it again a little more than year & half later so it went to insurance which I pad a lot of extra money for and they would not pay for it even though Chris from S&M plus my self talked to them and exsplained that it had already done it once and it was NOT normal wear and tear that the insurance was claiming and the lady I talked to was very rude !!! But Chris as far as I know did all he could but the last time I spoke with him he was supposed to be still arguing with them but that has been months and I have heard nothing so needless to say I am stuck with a ripped couch so dont take the insurance !!!!!
