Beautiful furniture selection and friendly staff!

I just edited my review today from 5 star to 1. I suppose coming in with workout attire and hair pulled back is not pretentious enough to be waited on! I have purchased furniture here in the past. Today I entered at 415 pm to look at king size beds and a leather sectional. Not one salesman even offered to assist me. As I was leaving a lady came and they immediately assisted her. There was a very loud man and other salespeople on the floor. I have never been treated so rude. I left at 4:54 PM and again not one person even stopped to help me. I guess Ill take my business somewhere else. Make sure you put your finest on and make your face or you will not get help! Shame

I’ve bought two sofas from Bill Cox Furniture, both wonderful experiences all around. The first sofa I had for 10 years and gave to my mother still in great shape. My current sofa is about 6 years old and one of the recliner switches just went out. Since it’s 6 years old its a year outside the warranty period, but Darryl at Bill Cox Furniture didn’t worry about that. He just wanted to make us happy. He initially tried to help me troubleshoot and when that didn’t work he tracked down his furniture rep for assistance and ended up getting us the part for free. You can’t ask for much more as a customer. Thanks again.

Nice furniture. Had a few slight problems with 2 of the pieces we ordered but they are promising to make it right. Ill change my review if they dont follow through.

Excellent customer service, Bill was spot on no wonder he has been in business for 56 years! He knew exactly where to look for an item most places no longer carry, he has the best catalogs for us to find a quality curio corner cabinet, was able to order and should have it soon. His wife check us out and she was very friendly and efficient. Thank you both.

The only thing worse than their website is their business slogan! I have NOT shopped in the store and I don’t think I will. I was looking at the website to see if they carry California King bed frames and I could not find the answer as their webpage is useless.

My husband and I went looking for new furniture Last week to fill our new home and Bill Cox himself was very rude. He told us we couldn’t take any pictures and starred at us. How are we supposed to pick out furniture if we can’t take any pictures to look at when we get home to discuss what to buy. He followed us around and looked very annoyed. We will never come back there ever again or recommend this place. We are going to Brown Squirrel or Knoxville Wholesale furniture!!

Cox Furniture passes the buck for product satisfaction to the manufacturer.When does Bill Cox Furniture take responsibility for customer satisfaction???I paid this retailer almost $1000 for a Best power chair from Bill Vox Furniture.I sat in it for a couple hours one day and the material on the back and the seat was all stretched out and wrinkled. I weigh 135 lbs.I emailed the manufacturer, Best furniture in Indiana and was told to contact the retailer Bill Cox furniture. (This chair has a warranty for materials and workmanship through Best Home Furnishings in Indiana.) I did so and the repairman said that these chairs are usually sold in leather. I was not told that at the time of the purchase or that’s what I would have purchased. I asked if I might swap out the chair and pay the difference for the leather material and was told no. They told me that Best Furniture manufacturing will not take the chair back. The repair person at Bill Cox furniture was able to the back and the seat replaced -however it was replaced with the same substandard materials. Again, after one day sitting in it, the back and seat material is wrinkled and out of shape. I was told that the parts are made on an assembly line- same cheaply made product.. I still have the same problem and every day the looks of the chair get worse. I asked Cox to take it back and give me a refund. He said that he would see what Best would do. Best told me that nothing was wrong with the chair and nothing would be done. The chair looks like it’s five years old and I received it in mid December. Also while reading reviews for Best on the BBB website, several people complained about back and hip pain after sitting in the chair. I then realized that the same hip and back pain that I had been experiencing was also due to the poor construction of the chair. I filed a complaint on Best with the BBB. However, Cox furniture should step up to the plate and take responsibility for the products that they are selling.I purchased a chair from Bill Cox furniture not the Best manufacturing in Indiana. It should be Bill Cox’s responsibility to take the chair back, refund the money and then see what best furniture will do for them.

We have furnished our whole house with Bill Cox Furniture. We highly recommend them. Great Maryville staff- Bennett and Cannon! The two delivery guys were the kindest and thorough, too!

Bill Cox was able to explain all the qualities and characteristics of an area rug that helped us make the right decision. We love it in our home. We shopped most area furniture stores and no one else had the knowledge to explain to us how the rug was made and how to appreciate the colors. Thanks, Bill. All staff were friendly and helpful.

Quality family owned business. Bought genuine leather reclining couch and we absolutely love it. Quality material and the sales people will take as much time as needed to explain each piece of furniture. How its made, why one brand is better than another etc. Definitely recommend!

Delivered every thing they promised...

Barely three years ago we spent nearly $1,000 on what we were told was a high-quality leather chair. It turned out to be only part leather and the front of the left arm has developed cracks in what appears to be cheap vinyl. I visited Bill Cox Furniture two days ago and left the store with the impression that they were going to make it right. Boy was I wrong. They want more than $250 to fix the chair, and thats simply unacceptable. I was under the impression that Bill Cox Furniture is all about quality and service. Boy was I wrong. Buyer beware! There are many better options in Knoxville and the area.

We have been searching for furniture for two weeks. Most places in Knoxville are ok, but you often get bombarded when you walk in the door. Not today, not at Bill Cox. They were friendly, knowledgable, and efficient. When I asked questions, they had answers. When I wanted time to think, they were more than happy to let me walk the floor and browse more.The selections in the showroom were beautiful and all of different price points. Anyone looking to grab some beautiful furniture should stop in and check them out. I will definitely be back, and will tell anyone looking to try them first.Thanks to all the staff at Bill Cox for a great experience. From the owner, to the salesman, to the delivery guys. Ordered custom sofa with mens look stripes. They stripes were not straight. After several phone calls, service person came to replace end panels. Long story short, I will not be back to this furniture store.
