THE BEST SERVICE you will ever find! These guys are knowledgeable and very friendly. I once even stopped in without notice to get my tire pressure checked because I didn’t know how at the time and they did not hesitate to help me. They didn’t make fun of my lack of knowledge, and they checked my tires with no charge.Furthermore, I’ve been getting my oil change here for a while and they are always honest about whether I needed an oil change or not (because I don’t drive the car a lot). They could have taken my money and changed my oil but were honest and let me know I didn’t need an oil change yet.Sure the price may be a little higher in comparison to other shops, but the service is unmatched by anywhere else. I’ve been to a lot of different shops: high prices, poor service, or rude members.Pro Toy of Knoxville deserves all the business they have and more!

This is the best place to take your Toyota for repairs and for service. Ive lost tract of how long Ive used them. My highlander has 223,000 miles on it. When ever I need a repair, the work is exceptional and the price reasonable.

Protoy is one of the best non dealership repair shops in Knoxville-Spotlessly clean facility and friendly, helpful folks. Perfect example of how a business that wants to honor God should be run! Highly recommended!

Dishonest. They backed one of our cars into something and lied about it. The bumper was already imperfect so I let it go, but still. Another time when I had my (different) car in for an OC they told me my brakes were worn down to the sensors when I had just replaced literally the entire brake system 20k miles earlier. I wanted to like this place but they were dishonest twice with two different cars, and playing the Christian card with that, them being liars, is especially nauseating.

Great staff. Friendly. Dont intimidate or try to talk over my head like *some* mechanics do. Quick work. Good work. The only issue Ive ever had is I got an air filter changed and theyd missed a small bit of cardboard that needed to be torn off. But they fixed that for me with no issue. Really wish they were a chain and were able to maintain the integrity and honesty of these guys. Itd be the best mechanic chain in the US.

This is the only place I will take my Toyota and Honda for repairs, great service and staff.

They’re okay. the only gripe i have is that they do take some time since they have to order the part from the dealership, so if you expect to go here you should not wait because it can be lengthy.other than that this is an okay service center for toyota’s.I will come back if I have time and transportation!

I had high hopes for this place , website states now servicing all makes and models. But this is not the case. They only work on Toyota’s, Lexus, Honda, and Acura and not Fords. Big thank you to everyone at Pro Toy for working on my Tacoma for new brakes, rotors, axles, wheel bearing and hub assembly replacement. Very professional, down to earth and honest business. Great communication with letting me know what they recommend to be fixed or replaced. Both times I went I paid less than originally quoted which was already a fair price. My truck is riding very smooth and quiet now and I couldn’t be more satisfied with their work. Best experience I’ve ever had with a shop. When dealing with more luxury like type brands like a Lexus people like to tack on small stuff that not is necessary and they think your just going just pay for it these guy there is no playing around they no what the problem is and use OEM parts which is huge . They have even have fixed stuff and not charge for it thats how kind hearted they are when I need repairs no one else I would consider thanks guys for being straight up A1 mechanics and being great people !

The guys over at ProToy are professional, personal and informative. They fixed my Lexus and charge fairly. I trust they do good work. Lexus of Knoxville charged $180 just to diagnose your car. ProToy charges $50. Need I say anymore?

This is the only place in town I genuinely trust. I received a quote for brake pads and rotors and was happy with the cost. What made me even happier is when Greg called to tell me they got it cheaper than anticipated. They saved me $130 when they didnt have to. Good luck with that happening at Pep Boys! Barry Dickey and the technicians at Pro Toy are such great guys! They take excellent care of my vehicle. Ive depended on them since 2002. I drove my last car (Toyota Camry) for 225k miles and my brother drove it another 50k before he sold it. My current car, a 15 year old Lexus, is going great at 150k miles and I expect it to go another 150k.These guys are courteous and helpful. They always explain thoroughly what needs to be done and, if possible, give me a couple of options. I highly recommend them for service work on your vehicle!

Cant say enough good things about the mechanics at Pro Toy. They never treat me like I dont know anything about cars, and always explain what they find when working on my car, and ask before they do anything outside of what I had initially requested. The waiting area is small but very comfortable, and they have fresh coffee, snacks, and wifi. I actually took my car to the Toyota dealership for a recall, and the mechanic there messed up my steering wheel, so I took it back and they STILL didnt get the steering straight, but I gave up on the dealership at that point and had Pro Toy look at the steering at my next oil change. Pro Toy fixed it perfect the first time at no extra charge. Love, love, love them.

Great place to have your car worked on. Barry and his staff of technicians are knowledgeable, honest and do a great job of taking care of you and your car. The prices are reasonable and the work is first rate! I highly recommend Pro Toy for all your auto service needs. As the name implies they specialize in Toyotas but they can take care of any make or model.

Everything about this place is great! Some of the friendliest and most kind staff members, not to mention the skilled techs.Very high volume, five days a week from open till close.

This place is far from a Christian business! It is a ploy. They were supposed to be looking into why my car was squealing and instead told me I needed an oil change. I refused it since I go somewhere else for that and it was only like 50 miles overdue( I am always on time with that). Got my car back after I let them balance my tires and drove 20 miles and my oil light came on. Long story a little shorter, they had stripped my oil plug and I had lost all the oil in my car in that length of time. They did not have permission to touch my oil! Went to speak with owner after I had to take off work and go to another place of business for them to fix this immediately. I spent money that I didn’t need to. While speaking with the owner, I asked him to compensate me for all of the trouble they cause. He said: “ I will have to think about it and pray about it. Most people find that they come out better in the end when I do that.” Ookay, what does that mean as a Christian? That God didn’t give you free will or the ability to make the right decision when YOU are the one that did wrong and made the mistake. This was the most ignorant comment I have ever heard. So God had to give him the day so to do what’s right. That’s definitely not how my God works. Again, this is all a ploy.He also would never return my phone calls and when he did decide he was going to compensate me, it was only a portion. Guess God only told him to give me a small portion! Haha. Just cracks me up how phony this place is.They DO NOT have you or your cars best interest at heart. As a female, I was trying to take my car somewhere I trust and can count on. Unfortunately, Pro Toy is the exact opposite.

Pro Toy made my car run great again!! Took our 1996 Rav4 in on a Monday, I received call later that day what repairs were recommended and Tuesday afternoon my car was ready to pickup.

We love Pro Toy, after countless trips in 2010 to the dealership for issues with my sienna not starting and getting charged over 100 dollars each time in diagnostic fees to be told nothing was wrong. We brought it over to Barry at Pro Toys and he said it was a bad chip in the battery. So less then 100 dollars later and we havent had another problem. The group there is great and alway make you feel right at home. We love them and wouldnt trust our cars to anyone else now. Customers for life!!

I was at Pro Toy getting my car serviced the day billy kilbey came in to express his dissatisfaction with his service...I heard the entire conversation. As he was explaining his issue to the owner, Barry Dickey, at NO time did Barry argue with this customer or try to defend his employees. Instead he listened intently to this customer in which after he explained, the FULL amount of the service was refunded to the customer. Barry did not have to fully refund his money. Some auto repair companies would not have done this but would of asked if he could bring the car back in for further analysis. I feel this shows the professional integrity & respect Barry has for his company as well as the overall satisfaction of customers. Pro Toy is a professional family-friendly company of integrity who values their customers. They are honest and do not try and pressure you. On the contrary, this company will do as much as possible to try and work with you...even if that means FULLY refunding your money if youre not satisfied. These guys are the best! Honest, straight to the point and no bs. Ive taken my 4Runner to them for years. I used to go to Toyota service, who would seemingly quote me something over $1000 for just about anything past an oil change. Then Protoy would literally charge 60 to 50 percent of Toyotas estimate, without knowing Toyotas estimate. And the work is solid and fast. My 4Runner will likely go to 500,000 miles (or more), so Ill be going to Protoy for years. Second to none!

I have had my car serviced at ProToy many times and never had anything but a positive experience. I was shocked to see such a terrible review from someone on here. The owner has always gone out of his way to make me feel comfortable and explain the work they were doing for me.It seems that the bad reviewer has posted positive reviews of 2 other places and in those reviews, again said bad things about ProToy. It makes me question his motives. So where did he really get his car fixed? The other reviews seem to be put out there only to give ProToy a bad name.I would urge you not to put so much stock in someones review when they seem like they are only trying to harm someones business. If you would speak to the owner, Barry Dickey, you would find out that he is a very honest person and would do anything to make sure you were satisfied with his work.
