I had a flat tire. I called down there and they said to come on down. They had my tires fixed and me out the door in 30 minutes and it was cheap. I highly recommend coming here if in need of car services

First time using this location, moved to Fountain city in the last 2 years. I was able to schedule service same day for a flat tire. Communiaction was excellent. They had me checked in, serviced, and out the door in less then 45 minutes. Clean, great service, and plan on using again in the future

Called around 12:30 because we desperately needed help. We were making an emergency repair to our front bearings and our spindle nut was completely frozen, we explained that we just needed it to be torqued properly and did not have the tools. A VERY kind mechanic picked up the phone and said for us to come by later and he could drive it off and then retorque it properly. When I walked in, an extremely rude older man (and apparently Im not the only one who has experienced this) told me that I Did not call their shop. I explained that I DID call them, I even had the number saved, and he continued to tell me every time I No, you didnt. Must have been Firestone. Dont do that here. Never asked my name, if I had an appointment, or offer to let me explain the situation. Every time I tried to explain he just looked at me like I was stupid. I felt so awkward that I just walked out of the store. It was a genuinely horrible and bizarrely rude experience for something that would have saved our day and taken 5 minutes. Will not be getting another thing done here again. Thank you to the mechanic who tried to help us.

Took my Subaru to Free Service in Fountain City for an oil change yesterday. Howard checked me in. Friendly and helpful as always.

We were told that a new tire would correct the problem we had with our truck. After the tire was replaced and a charge to diagnose the problem, the total was just under $300. This did not fix the issue. They then told us that short of replacing the whole front end there was nothing they could do. I understand the truck is old, however if they had been upfront and honest with us in the first place, we would have gone a different route, instead of being out another $300.

I recently started going to Free Service since I live down the street and I can drop my vehicle off and walk home while they work on my auto. Everyone at the front desk has been friendly, kind, and patient. The mechanics I encountered were friendly and knowledgeable as well.Pricing seems fair, but what I am most impressed with is their accuracy and quickness in getting the repairs done. I am super excited to have a trustworthy auto center near by that I can use from here on out.

The gentlemen at this location are very friendly and informative. Howard was the gentlemen that has booked my last two appointments at this location and is very pleasant to work with. I would recommend this location to my friends and family members. Very pleased with the service there and I will be going back for my vehicle needs in the future.I again visited this location just yesterday. Again the service was great. I had called earlier in the day to make an appointment and was able to get in that afternoon. My wait time was minimal. In that time however, several people had come in back to back. The guys were very willing and able to try to work in all the customers before close. Customer service is always very important and these guys try to do what they can to give just that.

I cannot express how professional and courteous this business is. They ordered 2 tires for me and installed them really quickly. Brad and Matt were the two who helped me and they are literally life savers. I will definitely be back in the future for my car maintenance. I also wanna point out that they didnt try to rack up my bill with other problems that my car didnt really have like another business did *cough cough* Firestone......

I went in to diagnose my tires and Howard spent a good amount of time hearing me out and then providing the proper advice and service I needed. Not only do I know a little bit more of how to handle my situation in the future, I felt like I saved on unnecessary spending and I was happy with the quality of service. I will be returning for more regular service for my tires.

Went in for service and flat tire. Entire staff very courteous and helpful. They have a lounge area for customers waiting for the service to be completed. They kept me informed of their progress and the wait wasn’t long. I highly recommend Free Service to all who need car service and/or new tires. Their prices are reasonable and affordable. Did a good job in my tire install. Average pricing. Only reason for the 3 stars is i had my windows tinted the day before. And i asked for them not to roll them down, due to the 3 day waiting period. When i looked out at them working on my vehicle. They had rolled my windows down.

All you haters out there complaining that they asked you to give them 5 stars and even helped you if you needed should settle down. Auto repair is a hard business and ever changing. You have to stay up to date on everything and this is coming from an ASE master certified technition that got out of the business a year ago because of people like you thinking its easy and anyone can do it. These are great guys at this location and I had the pleasure of Brad , Shaun and Johnny all working for me at one time. I trust nobody in automotive but them with my vehicles. Went there this morning to get tire pressure done because it was cold this morning. They said one of my tires needed something that was bent. Forgot what it is called. It got replaced. They did a good job on it. As long as they keep this up, Ill be coming back to them. Hope they do their customers right, do great service at decent prices and keep it up

Went in to get my wheels balanced. Although they couldn’t help me much with getting the process done due to wear on my tires. Howard was able to help me and get me pointed in the right direction. Very knowledgeable.

I decided to go with this business over a few others because the person that answered my call originally was very nice and informative to what I needed done with my car. Unfortunately, when I arrived at this business the clerk who I ended up speaking with (tall, older man) was extremely condescending toward me, and at one point told me to go sit down instead of standing by the other clerk who was getting me pricing. Honest to goodness, I’m not sure how the other clerks can work with him as he over talked the clerk and the mechanic, (who was the only helpful one there), while I was asking questions to them, not him. I highly doubt he acts this way to a man. Worst experience I’ve ever had dealing with any auto business.

Free Service did a great job on my mom’s Toyota Corolla recently. The car needed maintenance and I was able to bring it in the morning and had everything done in 3 hours. They provide excellent customer service at affordable prices.

As a new customer Howard and Mike have been wonderful! Instead of putting me back on the road w bad tires, they made sure I left safely. They honored me by giving a Veteran discount. As I waited they made sure I knew about coffee and enjoyed conversation. When they answered phone calls they were always polite and very helpful. I also appreciated that they cared and didn’t try to gouge you for money. They were honest and forth right. I will be back!

I gave three stars only because of what happened after the service. We were needing a place to take our vehicle to be looked at. I found this place and looked at all the reviews. It seemed to get really good reviews which I thought was a good thing so I tried Free Service. I called them and told them what was going on, they were busy and said that they probably wouldn’t be able to get to it till tomorrow which I was ok with. They ended up getting to it the same day which was awesome. Told me the issue which was two tires and got us set up. Anyway, when we picked our vehicle up my husband brought it home and did not tell me until the next day that they added a *Tire Service* to our bill. I DID NOT approve that. Also a fresh screw somehow ended up in the tire as well after we left the place. Seeing how we JUST spent money on brand new tires my husband called to see if he could bring it up really quick at some point so they can patch it? They said to bring it back up sometime the following week and leave it there and they’ll get to it. They didn’t seem to be that enthusiastic to try and fix the issue.

Had a wonderful experience at this location. Brad is awesome! Will definitely return in the future.

Brad was great today! Came in with a flat tire and didnt realize my tires were 8 years old and needed replaced. Got a great deal on 4 new ones and they got them on quick.

My mother and I went in there to get a tire repaired. They proceeded to tell us they couldnt repair the tire and that they could not sell her just one tire. She would have to buy four! Which would have been almost 800$. They charged us 30$ to put her spare on. Called around and found a shop that could not only repair the tire but charged us only 15$. Will never go back here again Dont go in here alone if you are a women!

Unfortunately I had had a brake service performed at a different shop off of Western Ave. The guy who worked on it installed my brake line hose incorrectly which lead to my rear tire rubbing a hole in my new hose.Free Service worked me in on Saturday Labor Day Weekend. They pulled my car into the garage as soon as I arrived, had the part delivered, and repairs done within an hour. Howard was very friendly and helpful. Another associate took me to garage to show me the other shops dangerous mistake and gave a very thorough explanation for the brake failure. They made a very dangerous situation safe again! The nice guys here at Free Service Tire on Broadway in Knoxville checked an AC line that was leaking on my Camry. The tech found the line was crimped, causing water to leak on the interior floor mats. He took care of the problem and the service for this was truly free. Bought 4 new tires at Recommendation of Free Service Tires.. bought new struts, alignment.. Everything.. When two of the tires went bald on the front inside.. Free Service Tire refused to honor warranty on the tires.. apparently unless you rotate the tires AT THEIR SHOP they will not honor any warranty.. Not Even Tire Warranty.. Buyer Beware.

Stopped by the Fountain City Free Service in Knoxville TN on Friday to discuss tire options for my SUV. Current tires were only a year old but had extremely poor traction and had worn very bad. Store manager, Howard, went over some options but highly recommend the Yokohama Tornante. Installed them the next day and completely changed the way the car drove and handled. Edit: Had another great experience at Free Service this morning to get some maintenance done in preparation for a road trip.My husband and I have gotten our cars serviced at Free Service since 2007. Even when my husband was stationed in upstate NY, we would bring our cars in when we visited family to get them serviced. I never feel like Im being taken advantage of (which is important as a lady because some places do that). Employees have always been very knowledgeable and, I swear Ive never seen anyone in a bad mood. Definitely our go-to for our car maintenance.
