Price and staff and location good , but..... Dash squeaks now and windshield wiper on one side want work ! They were washers left off too! Trying to resolve over phone was a joke ! So I went back (1hr drive) and they are working on it now

Took my truck in for a repair, they got me in quick. had it replaced in shorter time than they told me, i was impressed that they took alittle more time to hookup my dash cam, and they did a great job. Nice work guys

Had an appointment scheduled for a week and tech called the morning of appointment to let me know the glass was not in and it would be another three days. Manager called and didnt care and blamed it on the supplier. You pick your suppliers and you are responsible for getting the material on time. Dont string someone along for a week to tell them it will be another three days. Unacceptable.

Service was fast, technicians are nice. I had a chip filled and my windshield ended up spidering and cracking in multiple places so I had to call them back to replace the whole windshield. Was scheduled on a Friday and they rescheduled for Tuesday so that sucked but I guess they had a reason. Windshield is repaired so all is well

They waited until 24 hours ahead of appointment to tell me that the windshield was on backorder. When I called to understand how long it was going to be the automated system would not provide any information and hung up on me. They have turned over their customer service to a computer and it doesnt do a very good job.

When I started writing this review, it was a three-star review. In the middle of it I downgraded it to two, and just before writing these first few sentences I downgraded it to one star and deleted my initial assessment that I had scored it higher due to my past several experiences with them. By the time I got to the end of what you may or may not continue reading, I realized that my previous experiences no longer mattered, and I will never be a Safelite customer again.Unfortunately my review was too long for Google Maps to publish, so I had to take screenshots of it and post them as pictures (attached). Way back in the 90s I used this business and wasnt forced to deal with them through the net and they did a good job. Today..I try to call and I get an auto voice that was completely in Spanish..I dont speak Spanish. Tryed a different number and am told I can only book online by another autovoice that did speak English. I dont do business this way. I shell out this kind of money and have someone doing a major repair on my vehicle I expect to speak to an actual human. I will speak to a real person or Ill go elsewhere.

I found this place through AAA Glass claim. The front desk people were super friendly, the Technician Brandon was very professional, and he finished repairing (replacing) my windshield really quickly. He also vacuumed my floor, which was really surprised.

Safelite was supposed to repair my windshield last week. They turned a chip into a crack, and now the crack has gotten even bigger!!! After cracking it, they assured me my windshield was still safe, and would not be easy for the crack to grow unless hit with something. I hadnt even drove the vehicle and the crack is 3 inches longer!!! They should be held responsible for doing this. My windshield needs completely replaced after their fix job

When my windshield shatters in a parking lot, I want to speak to a real person. Not some robot thats programmed to tell me to use their website. I used Glass Doctor instead.

My rearview mirror fell off. I called the Nissan dealership and a few body shops attempting to get it fixed. No one could help me since the windshield was not cracked. Safelite fixed it in 10 minutes and did not charge me. They were professional and kind. Ill use them in the future!

I got a repair done on my windshield, it was the smallest unnoticeable crack from a rock. It chipped it slightly but it wasn’t bigger than a dime. They repaired it and it is now splitting and about to crack completely.My car is a 2020 brand new and now I have to dish out more money for a compete windshield replacement because they did such a poor job. They claim they do 1000s of repairs with 99 percent success rate. There is no way the chip couldn’t have been repaired. I’ve seen much worse conditions and they repaired just fine. Which is why I chose them. I expected top quality service and they damaged my car.

I got my windshield replaced. Satisfied with appointment scheduling process. Very satisfied with my service. I planned for 3 hours, according to the website; the tech told me 1 hour when I dropped it off; it was done within 45 minutes. Fix looks and works great! Also, dont forget to look for internet coupons. I saved $30 which made the fix more affordable.

They double-booked me for a Saturday 10AM appointment. Called that morning to say so, and offered to do a free mobile on Monday. Called Monday and said can we use your garage? I told them the garage was full. Well we cant do it in the rain! Can you bring it by? I told them no, I was working until 5PM. Typically this wouldnt be an issue, but I specifically set this for SAT knowing I have this car sold today, Monday. A lot can be said for I shouldve done it sooner, etc. but I didnt find out the sale date until FRI. So, I called to complain. Response, were sorry for your bad experience. Well, Im sorry that Ill never use you again. I know mother nature is uncontrollable, but double booking me on a sun shiny day is not.

My son hit my drivers side front door window and produced a crack but did not shatter it, and the window functioned fine. Scheduled to have window replaced on 12/30/19 and a technician came and replaced the window in about 20 min. He mentioned to me that a bracket had somehow broken and but assured me that it would work fine. I paid him $372.48.After 1 attempt to roll up and down the window it broke and the glass slid down to leave an open window. I called and they said the earliest they could come and fix was on 1/9/2020. I was assuming this meant they would fix it back to normal, but instead they just taped a new window up, but also let me know that now the regulator and the steel cable were also broke because I had rolled down the window once.I called the manager and he said that this was just something that happens in cars that are 10 years old, and there was nothing he could do. He said I should go to a mechanic because if I had Safelite fix it they would be really expensive.I feel like I got taken advantage on this and unfortunately will not be back. I also feel like I should warn anyone with a car more than 8-10 years old to not go to Safelite to get your window fixed before they fall into the same situation.

I have had at least three windshields repaired or replaced in my family through the years, and it is always such an easy, pleasant experience with Safelite. I would highly recommend their services. Very easy to work with and good results. Their staff is always very professional too.

I couldnt be happier with the service and professionalism at the Knoxville facility. I wont specify a single individual because every person that I encountered was easy to talk to and professional. From the person at the counter to the gentleman who did the work on my vehicle, professional.

I called in with a claim my insurance company handled the majority of the claim. Made my appt on a Sunday. Got a confirmation email Monday and Tuesday. Got a call Wednesday that they needed VIN gave them that got a confirmation email again. Got a call on Thursday to confirm address and Friday appt. Got a email that they still needed a VIN number so I called them back with the number. This is when I was told that my windshield is special order so they have to call Ford so she did after I told her my frustrations about all of this. Joan replies well who ever you talked to didn’t know any better they are new I don’t know what to tell you. She called me bad about an hour later to tell me that Ford has to make the windshield and she doesn’t know when it will be in. I canceled my appt and went with Auto Glass Fitters and they ordered my windshield and will have it in my truck by noon on Friday!

Terrible terrible terrible!!! Replaced my windshield in an hour and a half, looked at it saw a crack in the corner. They said it was normal and I was on my way. 6 weeks later I now have another crack accrossed the windshield of my brand new car! They said it wasnt their fault so nothing they could do. Go anywhere else!!!

Replaced power window, now the motor barely works. They came back to fix it but they said they had nothing to do with the motor. They also fixed my friends car window and they broke two pieces of trim off of his car and said they didnt do it either.

A good place to get a good deal.

Everyone there was very clean and professional. I was in and out in about an hour (they were fairly busy). While fixing the crack in my windshield they covered the seats to avoid getting them dirty, wore gloves the entire time, cleaned ALL my windows while the crack fill was being set and left a bottle of cold water in my cup holder when I was ready to go (it was 95 degrees that day so it was super appreciated!) I will definitely go back for future windshield cracks. Not sure about pricing as mine was covered by insurance and they processed the claim for me :)

Safelite is frequently able to take you early, even if scheduled for a later time. Ive only used the repair here, for those wonderful interstate rock chips, but theyve always been fast and courteous. They will also come to your location, within a reasonable distance.

Lousy service called 4 days ago to schedule windshield and seal replacement on freightliner cascadia now they say they are booked up and may not get to me today, got here at 7:50 they said maybe 4:30 PM or reschedule for next week, I have to get back on the road Monday morning, so much for making a appointment!!!

Good place to get your car windshield fixed. Service was good and friendly people. The place is a bit in the interior and they have some kind of variable timings which is a bit confusing. From what I found out they work till 18:00 during EDT and till 17:00 during EST.

My wife paid $600 to have her windshield replaced due to breakage. The windshield they installed had a factory defect. We called to report it and the guy came out and said he would have to come back. During this time, a rock chipped the glass, so when the service tech came out he said it wasnt an issue, the warranty would over ride the damage. Fast forward to a supervisor getting involved, and he said they couldnt honor the warranty because the chip had occurred. Any excuse to prevent honoring their word and standing behind their product. Do not patronize their business, there are many other honorable glass companies in Knoxville, just Safelite.

I was able to get a same day appt. to replace a windshield. Loved the timeliness of this process. They were supposed to call me when it was done since I dropped it off. They never called and the window didnt have a close time for Saturday. The person who checked me in for my appointment said he didnt know what time they would be closing but that Andy would call me when it was done.I went back at 4:55 in case they closed at 5 and the car was sitting, waiting, already done. No one had called.They did a nice job on the windshield, the price was reasonable.They left debris on my dashboard (wouldnt have killed them to use a vacuum...) but otherwise it was done correctly and so far looks to be holding up just fine.

My car had been broken into. I called up and set up an appointment and they did the rest. They vacuumed out the entire van and cleaned up all the broken glass! I cant begin to tell you how disappointed I am with the service and the quality of work of this place! I brought in my semi truck to have the windshield replaced, it took them a little while but they did put in the new windshield I drove it off the lot it started raining and it was leaking! I made an appointment to have my truck taken to a repair shop to have some other work done on it, so they sent two guys out to the repair shop to fix the leak and they said they could not do it it because they were afraid to break the glass and didnt have a spare windshield. Then I had to set up another appointment, the guy came out by himself and said he could not do it because it needed to be a two person job and he was by himself! So now I had to take it into their shop to have it replaced which I had to find a ride so I can bring my truck in and I missed my appointment now I had to wait for several hours before my windshield can be replaced! My advice is to not bring your commercial truck into them, maybe they are good with vehicles but not with commercial trucks!

I have made 3 appointments with safelight.The first I had to cancel because I was so sick, I couldnt drive.The representative was nice and said oh let us come to you. I explained that I work up in Pigeon Forge and I live in Knoxville. Well on the day before my appointment I called to confirm and found they had to wrong address, so the canceled and set up another. The 3rd appt the guy calls says he will be here by 4, I told him my appt was between 8 and 3 and he says he will juggle it to make it work, he will let me know.I dont hear back, call and find out they have me down 2:30 to 4:30.Im very disappoint with this grop and now I still dont have a windshield...

A few months back I had safelite come repair the windshield on my wifes car at work. That was the first mistake.The technician forgot to reinstall the screw covers for the cowling panel which was not installed properly, forgot the windshield washer hose, got glue all around the windshield on the bodywork, and did not install the trim correctly. I call Safelite and they order the screw covers and tape the trim while I wait for the screw covers. They schedule another appointment (at the shop this time) and redo everything. The new windshield had to come out just to clean the glue.Last week I scheduled a windshield replacement on another vehicle. This time I scheduled to take it in to the shop thinking that it would help them get it right the first time.I arrive about 8 minutes after the scheduled time and check in. A few minutes later the guy comes back and says that they cant get the car in because the tech isnt done with his previous appointment and that there is another one scheduled about 50 minutes out. They reschedule over a week out meaning I have to take more time to drive back again to have the work done. Needless to say I suggest looking elsewhere if you need windshield work.

Had a 1 oclock Saturday appointment I was called and asked if it could be moved up to 10:30. They go to put the window in say they cant get the regulator all the way down. I helped them turns out they were rolling it all the way up and they were wrong. They get the window installed but it wont roll down or all the way up without applying force. The old window worked fine before it was broken.

I had my drivers window replaced on my F150 at the Safelite shop. It was very poor quality glass with lots of ripples in it. A service tech came to my house with a replacement glass 4 days later and the new glass still had ripples in it. Everyone I dealt with showed lots of class and amazing customer service. However, I used another company to replace my glass.
