I’ve been taking my car here for a few years, best service I’ve ever received from an auto shop hands down. They are prompt keep you informed and they’re honest about what you need done not to mention that they don’t charge an arm and a leg for labor.Jeremy and Bill have been very good to me and if it doesn’t need to be done they will let me know instead of charging me for things I don’t need. Absolute best mechanic in town. They are Trustworthy, honest & reliable. Bill went the extra mile making sure I understood everything in detail that needed to be fixed and how to check it on my own for upkeep. My car drives great now and A/C is fixed for a super reasonable cost! He even polished my headlight that i could never get clean as an extra! I will refer neighborhood mechanic to all my clients friends and family 10/10!!

My parents have been using Neighborhood Auto for years. Now that I am responsible for taking care of my own car, I now know why. I own a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee that needed a new foul pump. I took it to the dealership who quoted me $2000.... $2000 to change a foul pump??? I then called Neighborhood in which they told me the cost of the part and Quoted me a reasonable $$ amount that made sense and had it fixed the next day. Kind people, quality service, and trusting. I will recommend them to anyone.

Good honest service

Took my daughters car there after another shop in the area had her car 2 weeks and didnt fix the issue. Took it Bill. I let him know I unplugged the o2 sensor and removed the heat shield in order to test the catalytic converter. Neither of those had anything to do with the issue. He plugged the sensor back in, replaced the heat shield and put a screw in her bumper (I didnt ask him to do that, had nothing to do with why I took it). I suppose all were done to justify him charging me $108 and telling me the car was fixed. Drove it 7 miles, the engine light came back on and the same issue occurred. I took it back only for him to.say its a transmission issue and I need to take it to a transmission shop. He kept my money and didnt fix the problem. Funny thing is, I was telling my neighbor that has live in his home for 40 years about him. He told me he wish he had known that where I was going because he learned 20 years ago that they rip you off at Neighborhood Auto and wouldnt have recommended them to me. A good, fair and honest mechanic is extremely hard to find. Amh

Bill has helped me multiple times over the past several years with my 2008 Equinox. This shop is easy to overlook driving by on 41 but way better than all the other shops in the area so be sure to give them a try. They cost less and do better work, even the little extras at no additional charge, like correct your tire pressure and oil levels. They are quick and honest. I wont take my car anywhere else!

I have known Bill Abdou, the owner for 25 years. Great mechanic, honest reliable work. He has also become a great friend while working on my toys over the years.

This is the first and only place I do and will take my cars to be repaired. Bill is the guy that you look for in a mechanic. Hes honest, fair and ALWAYS does a great job. It doesnt get much better.

Bill has repaired all of my cars, even re-repairing shoddy work done by other America repair shops. Always gives an honest estimate and doesnt pile on a lot of other unnecessary stuff to jack up the cost. Bill will continue to get the business for any repair I need.
