Clean, quiet, secured. Great storage units in climate controlled building. I feel very comfortable with our items in storage here.

Very nice, professional and accommodating. Ive used this facility for years, and always felt my belongings were safe and secure. While living in Downtown KC for years, my unit here was basically my basement, and this location was very convenient. Highly recommended!

Very kind and helpful staff this far. My things have always been safe here and the facility has been very well kept both non-climate and climate controlled equally well. Could use a trash receptacle of some sort for convenience however not having one in no way affects the cleanliness of the facility one bit. Awesome place worth doing business here.

The storage units are very clean and the management is very helpful by showing you where your unit is and how to operate the lift. The employee Victoria is pretty as can be and gives you any help she can. There is no rodents or bugs very clean facility.

Easy to get In and out. Room for 2 cars to drive by each other. Clean and neat.

I recently visited NKC Attic Storage. In this day and age when you walk into a buisness, you tend to expect the fake smiles, attitudes, and business ethics. On my venture, I was astounded by the woman behind the desk! There, I met Barb, the facility manager at the location.Barb instantly reminded me of like a best friends mom. She spoke with kindness, care, concern, and love. She was patient with my terrible new habit of running late due to having a 10 month old and a time span of 7 years between my older son and the baby. And on top of it all, she was scheduled for eye surgery the next day! I not only felt like she is an incredible employee but also an incredible person.She made me feel welcome, made me feel like I belonged and made me feel like we had been friends for years even though it was my first time meeting her.I recommend this location not only for your storeage needs, which they can accommodate, but also for their great staff.

They always are so understanding

My wife and I have stored our personal belongings at this storage facility and never had a problem. With all of the rain that Kansas City had in May and June; not a drop got into our storage unit. ☺☺☺

I choose to use Attic storage because my grandmother used them before and everywhere I looked this place was the cheapest. I had my stuff here for a couple of years and really had no problems. My rent here has only gone up $5.00 in the 9 years I had it, but Management sure keeps changing. This year (2017) They seem to be adding an additional level of storage.

I havent had an issues with security, which is always a plus! The staff has always been friendly and helpful.My only complain: They added another section of units and a bunch of dust ended up in our unit. I can understand a small amount since its not 100% sealed, but this was construction dust and it covered all of our belongings. Luckily, we moved to another unit and we were able to clean everything off.

Your items are safer in the middle of the street with a FREE sign on them. If you have something there it would be a good idea to check it ASAP. If you are looking for somewhere to store something, skip this one.

Because zero stars is not an option in order to leave a review.Our storage unit was broken into as well as another unit near ours. All major electronics were taken as well as items we received from our recent wedding. Because the property is not monitored regularly, we were the ones to discover the damage. The unit was left open long enough due to the forced entry, to cause water damage and mold formation on our furniture, mattresses, etc. Attic Storage of NKC stated that they make no guarantees for security or well being of stored items and they are not liable for damage to your stored items due to negligence of management. Is that not the point of a property manager? The theft is not their fault (maybe) but the fact that the metal panel on the back of our unit was left wide open for weeks to allow water to enter the unit and grow mold on our furniture (the damage can be seen from the highway that passes by the business). We should have saved our money and just placed all of our items on the curb with a large For Free sign attached to them if wed have known this is how their business was to be run.Moral of the story is that if you are to store your items here, there is nothing stopping the property manager from calling her cronies to let them know what unit youre in and if their is anything valuable to steal because the property manager has no responsibility to maintain the property and is merely a janitor to clean empty units. This company showed no compassion in this unfortunate situation and immediately became hostile and argumentative when questioned. I would not recommend Attic Storage NKC to anyone.Side note: Our unit and the unit 2 doors from ours were both entered from the rear and had valuables stolen (a blind spot in the security cameras of course). The unit in between these was empty, but had a lock on the door and would not have looked any different than both our unit and the other vandalized unit. So how did the thieves know to skip it and not to even attempt to enter it? A good question indeed.

This is the second time ive rented a unit year. Last time was a few years ago, both times rats got in my unit and destroyed my stuff. Go elsewhere.
