Heres another gem that I found to be authentic and charming; would you know that my server defined them both. Full Irish! Arguably the best Irish experience stateside with a warm feeling, signature dishes like the pork belly and others. When you visit, and certainly you dont need these comments to convince, have a look around the place. Its rustic, perfectly lit for date night or girls/guys night out. They are known for their secret recipe ketchup. Dare you to try it without licking the jar afterwards.

I dined during a whiskey dinner that was so delightful! This place, the food,, and everyone who works there are amazing. Highly recommend stopping if youre ever in Haverhill, MA.

We had a small birthday lunch there over the weekend. Great service, cute atmosphere, loved all the decor. Everyone enjoyed their food. Our waitress Michelle was very nice! Would definitely recommend.

What a terrific experience for our first foray out to dinner in 14 months! The food was fabulous, the service was great, and the atmosphere was a nice reminder that with proper precautions and policies, we can get back to something closer to what used to be normal.

This place is a Haverhill classic! Great food and such a rustic atmosphere, that is warming right as you walk through the door. Melissa at the bar delivers great service and makes scrumptious drinks. Worst establishment I’ve ever visited. Just moved here from NY and tried to find my new local pub. The server was horribly rude and didn’t serve me because of my out of state ID. First google review I’ve ever left but I needed to because of how badly I was treated. Don’t go here.

Went there a while ago and was somewhat disappointed. It was my first time there and I stood by the door for a bit waiting to be seated. The bartender and the waitresses saw me but just ignored me. I finally figured out that was a seat yourself place so my party sat down. We ordered the chicken wings and the were under cooked. Very red around the bone and tough. One person in my group ordered the meat loft and it was also under cooked. Almost raw in the middle. I thought I was going to a restaurant but its more of bar. I dont think Ill go back

Had brunch and bloodies today. Food was really good, we had the poutine, hash, omelette, and French toast. Bloody special is a great deal. Service was excellent.

She even walked us out to the van, the ladies are planning our next visit cant wait to go back 🍀Highly recommend the Fish & Chips , Beef Stew, Angus Burgers & Sweet Potato Fries. Ive eaten about half of the menu so far at Peds and literally everything Ive ordered has been absolutely delicious. There is a reason this place was voted the best restaurant in Haverhill.

I used to go in here with a disabled veteran. And honestly the accessibility in this place is horrendous. Sure they have a ramp. By someone in an automatic wheelchair cant open the door by themselves. When they get to the bottom of the second ramp. The table is too close and they cant get in by themselves. We were able to sit over in the corner. And everyone treated us with respect and kindness. The food was hit or miss depending on any given day. the sweet potato fries were sometimes amazing and sometimes horrifying. The beer prices arent bad though. For someone with a power wheelchair this place is very hard to get in and out of. Someone with a manual will be just fine

Great food, but not the best atmosphere for just wanting to dine. We had a reservation, but there was no one to seat us which was confusing. Found out we can sit wherever. Very loud, makes it hard to talk. And service was a little slow, but they were short staffed the night we went. Still want to go back to try other food. Try the homemade ketchup!

Great Food, Drinks, and Atmosphere!

TLDR: Feels like the real thing! Solid old school Irish pub.Went for a flyby on a road trip and needed a solid pub visit. It’s not a gastro pub or super modern, but it’s not trying to be as it’s definitely got a handle on good old Irish charm. Lovely snug room in the corner and cozy comfortable booths by the bar. Service was on point and chatty that is appreciated in a good pub. We went during a late lunch and only issue was I thought the wings were a bit pricy, but they were good enough not to complain.

Charming Irish pub. Friendly atmosphere, great drink, good food. I had the Irish Cuban. The potato & leek soup was a delicious treat on the chilly night I was there. Love this place and Im sure I will return soon.

A wee bit of Ireland does exist at The Peddlers Daughter. More than just a place to quench your thirst, The Peddlers Daughter elevates pub food to new heights and the craic is mighty. The word “pub” originates from the term “public house” which references a community gathering place or focal point within the community for socializing and sharing stories, daily events, and in The Peddlers Daughters case, great food with a great beverage. An Irish get-together wouldnt be complete without good music and a good pint.

The beer selection was great with plenty of Irish brews on draft. I had the Bangers and mash, a traditional Irish dish and it was phenomenal, and bread pudding for dessert. I would absolutely recommend this pub because of the warm environment and friendly staff as well as great food options for a very reasonable price.

We love the atmosphere and the menu choices. Seems like what wed find across the ocean in an Irish pub. Delectable stews, Bangers and mash, did and chips. You cant go wrong. And our waitress even had an Irish accent; a strong one!

Always a fantastic beer selection. They have great comfort food. I love that the place is like half underground so its nice and cozy and you dont feel like youre right in the center of everything even though youre right downtown. And if you do want to kind of be in the spotlight you can sit out on the sidewalk during the summer time and eat there with table service. I love this place Ive been going there for years the staff is very nice.

Best Irish pub around. Not just good for a Guinness, but also really good food.The Maple siracha wings or pork belly baos are great. Their fish and chips are a good classic and they also have really good burgers. I like their homemade ketchup, but think it might be a bit of an acquired taste.Highly recommend. Went during the day, on a Sunday. Waitress was very nice but didnt hover, which we appreciated. Food was good, their house ketchup was enjoyed by everyone.Solid Americanized Irish fare. Portions are large, food is cooked fresh, so expect a 20 minute wait. Overall a nice experience, with lots of interesting things to look at.

Not a restaurant, just a bar. Not much for quality drinks though, just get draft.... if it ever comes to you. I think the bar tenders name is Nicole. She was busier than a 1 armed wallpaper hanger. But still took the time to engage us. She gave us the low down of the best food on the menu and poured a perfect pint. Food was great, service great, atmosphere great. Highly recommend a lunch and pint.

An Irish Pub with a twist, the variations to the menu are sublime. The traditional fare are as expected but with continental flair aimed at the American pallet. The Fried Pickles were an awesome treat. The Potato and Leek soup was exceptional. The Guinness Beef Stew comes with a mountain of potatoes at its center and tastes phenomenal.

The reviews set me up to believe this was a wonderful little restaurant and bar, and it had all the makings of one. Sadly, it didnt live up to expectations, this is definitely a bar more than a restaurant, but on a Friday night they had no draft beers to offer? All non-draft beers came in cans or bottles, something my dining partner said he hadnt seen since he was 25!Overall it was a strange and slightly unwelcoming experience. Good rirish food, though the fish tacos on the menu at an Irish place do seem out of place..

So, I went here about a week ago, and was just reminded I needed to write a positive review after a bad experience at another restaurant. I now wish I had come back to this pub again instead! The atmosphere was great, the service was lovely, and the food was authentic. My partner and I spend a good bit of time in the UK and one of the things I miss the most are Scotch Eggs. He misses fish and chips. So we both ordered the fish and chips and shared a scotch egg as a starter. The scotch egg was even better than many I have had in England. The fish and chips were awesome.... But what really put the food over the top were the condiments. I am very picky about my ketchup and have never had a house-made ketchup that I liked....but I could eat theirs with a spoon! And their tartar sauce is the best I have ever had anywhere. The beer and cider were great too and the lovely woman serving us made us feel like we were locals and regulars, even though we are brand new to the area. We just moved to Nashua and will be trying their other location there, but we already decided we are still going to visit this one whenever possible. Do go!

Short haired bartender is the rudest woman I’ve ever met, gets angry when you ask for a drink which makes no sense because she’s a god damn bartender. Didn’t tip her once because of how rude she was so she took it upon herself to add a $2 tip from my card at the end of the night. Another time she pulled me to the side and told me to tell my friends to start tipping her more than just a dollar or she was gonna have them removed. Place is awesome to go to when she’s not there, but if you walk in and see her do yourself a favor and leave. Not sure how she still works there because everyone I know has a horror story about that lady

Went for brunch. Limited choices, but each meal we had was very tasty. Irish coffee was very well made. The server was definitely from Ireland....great sense of humor...had us laughing the whole time.

The Peddlers is a great authentic Irish pub. It is very cozy inside, the staff are very friendly, they do an excellent Guinness. The food is also special, they even bring you your fish and chips wrapped in newspaper.

Been there several time over the last few monthsI really want to like this place because of the cool atmospherebut the food has inconsistencieslast night I got pub steak cook to my liking but on the tough sidemashed potatoes and kale Luke warmhowever my girlfriend got the haddock special everything was good and hot, the roasted potatoes could have used more seasoning very bland.time before I got the corned beef it was good but skimpygirlfriend got the fish and chips didnt care for it all wrapped up in newspaper actually kind a gross

Thought it was peddlers daughter it was some boushey cafe. Think beets on fancy bread, ipas and expensive meals. We realized peddlers daughter was next door, down stairs.
