Im about to walk six blocks in the freezing rain 39 degrees temperature to the dollar general store in Claycomo to see if I happened to of dropped my id there because I cant find a working number to call.Absolutely ridiculous

Excellent location especially since Caseys moved down N.Oak a few years ago but this store is so very understaffed that the employees are always struggling to keep up with stocking and with managing the long check out lines. As for providing customer service... they are generally helpful if they have the time and availability.And, you may wish to note...while they have a loyalty program, it appears in-store cell phone access is either limited or non-existent so you cant check their website once inside the store (or take or make calls).

This store is huge and they sell some fresh produce. Google maps has been taking me to any empty filds recently instead of DG, so beware lol

I can get in and out quickly, no crowds or lines plus I save money and support my neighborhood business

Stopped in at 10:00pm closing time needing something and the awesome guy said we’re closed but go ahead and grab it! So thankful, he could have easily said no but he was kind and helpful! Wish I would have caught his name. If you read this THANK YOU for being AWESOME!

Got home to find the eggs I bought were frozen and many items were missing that I purchased. Tried calling the store last night and this morning and they do not answer.

This location is cram packed but they do have some groceries which is handy. Staff is usually very friendly.

I have never been so embarrassed in my life! The manager and clerks acted like I was a thief! Yes I am a couponer so I scan things if I get good price I buy it! The manager had the nerve to chase me down when I came back to do my second transaction said I can’t buy trial size items with digital coupons!!! What if a coupon attached that is an error in their system I just scan and go I didn’t use any paper coupons all digital and of course my out of pocket was low because I’m a Couponer!!! Basically after all employees followed me watching me the manager said I am to be rang up only by manager like I was some kind of hacker making my price low!!! Your system has a glitch is not customer fault!! I felt discriminated against me embarrassment because other customers were around!! Worst customer service ever I never have issues with night crew there’s 2 ladies that dislike me because I coupon and I’m really good at it!! Beside that the store trashed boxes trips hazards everywhere... so unorganized definitely the worst dollar who needs a new manager!!

Great place to go for quick items. Needed stuff in a hurry. Better and quicker than big store, when in a rush. And nice variety

Had milk and lots of other food items. The associates wore masks and registers were marked for Social Distancing

The staff at this dollar general are definitely there to just collect their pay check. Its hard to get any help, and a smile from anyone is rare.

The Lady they call “mom” is very rude and disrespectful! If your black don’t even waste your time going there!

This store is usually, always polite & Helpful to their customers when Needed...plus its nicer to shop in that one ,than the one on Parvin Rd...uhhh.. Its ALWAYS HOT IN THAT STORE(ALL YR.AROUND) . Thats uncomfortable to the customers.

Serves a my closest store for necessities. And usually have what you, need from milk to makeup, can goods to spray pain. Even some apparel. Just wish instead small plastic container of cut up fruits, they would carry tbe whole friit. And instead of individual yogurts, wish they would carry the larger sizes 32.

Friendly and attentive staff, store was well-stocked and clean. This particular location has a very large grocery section. They have an entire frozen food aisle and they even sell produce as well!

This is a distributer problem instead of a dollar general or staff one, but Ive had a few expired 2 liter sodas and sweet tea from here, to the point that we suffer a trip to Walmart instead of getting it from the corner dollar store. Smaller drinks like 20 ounces have been fine in my experience and thats literally the only stuff Ive had a problem with at this location. Staff is great.

Good place to go for staples and basic items. Its my go to for kitty litter, tp, and other simple items. This is the stuff that keeps a household going.

The cashiers are very friendly and helpful. They always help me the customer fing what I need. The price of the goods ia always reasonable. They are constantly working to make yhings better.

Second cashier opened up when line formed. Great service.

A lot better than going to Wally world....easier finding your goods!

There were 4 employees working and 3 of them were standing near the front door. One spoke very loudly the entire time I was there. She was yelling across to the guy working the register and speaking to her other Co workers. I could hear her all the way in the back of the store. She spoke about how she would shoot some person she was talking about and all the trouble that person has been causing. It was very unprofessional and a few of them looked like they hit the pipe a little too hard. It was all very amusing but if I had my children with me I would have been pretty irritated.

Its a good quick stop to pick up last-minute items. Or just hope you dont feel like going all the way to regular store to grab.

Bad Customer service!! I will never shop here ever again!! The Manager treat us like thief or criminals. She kept following my kids and I around the store like we were going to steal something!! I felt so weired I had to ask her what was her if theres a problem. Shes started going off she told us to get out!! I mean we didnt even do anything. I felt so uncomfortable when she kept following us and peaking on us.Horrible!! Ive never seen a bad Custer service ever.
