Am new in town and called around to replace my desktop tower that was damaged due to freezing weather. B E TEK was the only place that had reasonable prices. I was so intrigued that I dropped everything to rush out there and get my hands on a tower. Josh was friendly and set me up fast even calling me in a couple hours after data transfer that was supposed to take a day. I saved so much money that I was able to replace a monitor as well...Keith helped me with that and was just as friendly.This is my new go to place for computer needs. My computer had a small issue, they got it fixed within the same day I dropped it off. They didn’t charge a flat rate for an issue that didn’t take too long to fix, which was excellent. Best kept secret. Get a refurb computer with all the trimmings for a fraction of the price. They also fix all your things as well. None of that wait a million years for the repair like certain other establishments with the back and yellow signage.

Out of This World Customer Service !

This shop has always been up front and transparent with pricing. We have never had the need to go anywhere else. They have taken care of us through 3 computers...extending the life of each one. This last visit even resulted in a no need to repair visit, not many places that will tell youll they dont need to charge you everything is ok. You can trust this team.

So far this place has been far more helpful than the last place. They found viruses that were apparently STILL on my computer AFTER some other company cleaned it!!BE TEK has kept in touch me as to what was/is wrong with my computer. I set a price range & they have kept it under my budget.

My husband and I have been clients of B.E. Tek for years, and they have always done good work for us. But I have to tell you about the GREAT job they just did for me!I was one of those people who procrastinated in updating from Windows 7 to Windows 10 on my laptop. Since I use it where I teach, I never could find a convenient time to drop it off and be without it. I finally had a couple of days I knew I wouldnt be at school, so I brought it in.I was prepared for a pretty high estimate, or for them to tell me they couldnt do it, but Chris was so positive and kind and reassured me that it wouldnt be as much as I thought, and they could, indeed, do it in the time allotted.So I brought it in on Thursday evening, and I know for a fact they had many other devices to work on, because other staff members attended to three other customers just in the time I was there. They said theyd do the best they could in getting in back to me as soon as possible (I didnt pay for express service), and they knew I needed it by Monday. Trent was very reassuring and kind and said theyd take good care of my laptop; theyd even run the basic diagnostics while they were working on it.They were as good as their word! They called the very next evening, at 5 pm on Friday, and I was able to pick it up and have been using it this weekend getting ready for Monday. Sold me a refurbished desk top that did work. Had to take it back.. then charged me $90 to get data from my old laptop after telling me it would be $30 to $60 bucks.

For most thinks especially with computers I can do all my own but this one time I made a mess of a new hard drive during a custom build restoring some data from the last hard drive. Drop it off and explain the issue. Pick up my hard drive back to normal so I can finish my little project. Like I said I could have fixed this on my own but it was worth the time I saved and I didnt want to buy any extra equipment than I already have.

I have been going to B.E. Tex for probably close to 10 years. They are usually very busy so you might have to wait a few minutes but they spend time with each customer. I have bought two refurbished computers from them for less than $175.00 and they worked great for a long time. When the second one had an issue they were able to fix it in no time and with a small fee - I think $40.00 or so. I have never had anyone be rude to me and I dont know a ton about computers, always very helpful and I am on the way over there this weekend to have a laptop serviced and cleaned up.

I only live 1 1/2 blocks away, so my reason for going there is obvious. For everyoneelse, I can recommend it because of the competency of both the owners as well as support staff. To me, they seem capable of handling anything that comes through the door.

These guys are more than great! I went there because my laptop screen was showing up sideways and my mouse was not working after dropping my laptop. The guy plugged in a portable mouse clicked a few buttons and i was on my way. A guy down the street at another tech place wanted $100 just to diagnose it these guys got me done in 3 minutes for free.

Very knowledgeable, friendly, fast, and cheap. Took my computer in because it was running extremely slow. Figured I would have to buy a new one. Guy at the counter looked at my computer and figured out a bunch of stuff was running in the background, closed it all, and explained how I could do it if it happens again all in fifteen minutes and for free. Dont go big box, go here. They sell computers and accessories as well as repair.

Bad experience. Purchased a laptop from them 7 or 8 months ago. The charging port became non functional. I take it in, and they say the part will take a week to get in. A week goes by, no call. Another week goes by, I call them. I was told their was an issue with shipping but it should be there anytime. Another week goes by, then another, no call. I call them again, and am told they had to re-order and that it would be another week. Keep in mind I need this laptop for work and would have just bought a new one if I knew it would take this long. By now its been over a month since I dropped it off, I call again, and am told its ready and the part was installed. Very annoyed by getting zero communication and having to be the one to call, but I happily go in and pick up my laptop. They charge me 50 bucks plus tax ( I was quoted 60), and that was that. I get home and the laptop does not charge or work. I bring it in, the guy that gave it to me plugs it in a charger, sees it doesnt work then goes in the backroom. He comes back and says that the motherboard is damaged, and the computer is broke, but they charged me for parts and labor. It was 90 dollars parts and labor (i was quoted 60) we gave you a discount and charged you 50. They did not even bother telling me this when I picked it up!! And were completely clueless when I brought it back. Completely bush league and terrible service. I will not recommend or EVER go back

Called in to inquire about used servers for sale. I didn’t expect to be treated so rudely and with such condescension that I’d have to hang up and write a critical review, and get here we are. I would include the clerk’s name, as I’m sure their other employees aren’t so unpleasant, but he wouldn’t give it. Will obviously look elsewhere for used computers.

Their extremely knowledgeable techs went over the best options for getting me up and running again after my trusty Dell died. I ended up with one of their refurbished computers at a great price. It runs like a champ and I couldnt be happier. They even got the Office off my old computer! I would definitely recommend this place.(Bonus: they have an ancient vending machine with 75¢ sodas!)

I dropped off my laptop last Saturday. It took 4 days for my laptop to get fixed. I was told the laptop will be fixed in 3-5 days or less. I received a call yesterday and was told through a voicemail that my laptop was ready to pick up, so I picked up the laptop today. The person I spoke to was courteous and friendly. Ill do service with them again.

I have taken my PC to BETek for several yearrs. Very competent and truthful. Never tried to sell me something I did not need.

It seems like the people that work there are trying to get the best of everyone that comes in. Whether it is giving them repurposed equipment that doesnt work. Or lying about being able to save files on the computer that was turned on for repair. Almost like a I am better than you attitude.

I took my phone in to get the screen replaced. Two days later they called me back saying they replaced the screen but the phone wouldnt turn on. B E Tek offered to buy me a refurbished phone (my phone was 2 months old) and have it be delivered to me 6 days later. I own my own business and cant afford to have my business line out for that length of time.After an hour of arguing with the owner, he finally agreed to letting me buy the same phone at Verizon and writing me a check for the amount so I can have a working phone same day. When I returned to the store for reimbursement, the owner accused me of bringing in a broken phone in the first place and I was taking advantage of his business by getting a brand new phone. He said his associate never checked the cracked phone to make sure it worked.The owner said he was taking a risk replacing my phone. The biggest risk was me trusting B E Tek to fix a cracked screen.

The AC plug in my laptop was shot. Keith not only did the repair, but swapped out the power cord which was also faulty and under warranty, gave me a better power cord, and even addressed a Bitdefender issue that wasnt on the work order. And, to top it off, all the work was done long before the 7-10 day initial projection. Exceeded my expectations on several levels. Thats why I continue as a loyal customer.

Theyre knowledgeable, and their prices on various peripherals are good. Now, for the downside: They dont seem to be able to say no, and as a result, Ive left equipment and parts there for a bench test to see if they wanted to buy it on three different occasions, and basically never heard back from them until I called them. The first time it was three months. The second time it was a little over a month-and-a-half, and this last time it was a bit over a week.If theyd been honest with me up front and told me they didnt need my old equipment, I would have been fine with that, and would have asked them to recycle it. As it stands, Im sufficiently tired of the run-around Ive gotten every time that it is unlikely I will go back, for anything.

Came in about an hour after I oh so gracefully spilled my iced coffee on the table and half my laptop keyboard and touchpad. I immediately turned my laptop off and blotted what I could with paper towels, trying to get in those nooks and crannies without taking it apart. I called B.E. Tek and even though diagnosing liquid damage takes at least a day (time I didnt have), they offered to check it out. They were very polite and professional, and after taking the back off and checking it out, it turns out there wasnt any damage! They also got all the dust out from in between my keys (very appreciated) and tightened up the hinges, all free of charge. Would definitely come here again if I ever need a repair!

I discovered these guys a number of years back, and theyve saved my bacon a bunch of times with various computers -- often providing advice that solved issues without downtime or charges! The only drawback Ive encountered is taking a unit in at one of the peak times of the year (back-to-school, holidays, and such) - because of their reputation they can be swamped -- but theyve always completed work within estimated timeframes.I never look forward to having to use them, but happy they are there for me when I need them.

Been a BE Tek customer for about 15 yrs and have NEVER had a bad experience. I live in the northland 10 mins from KCI but never consider going anyplace else for PC issues. Ain’t broke, don’t fix it. My latest laptop issue was removing two antivirus suite files from PC that that vendor’s uninstall tool wouldn’t delete. Needed to delete before installing another company’s security suite. Using his usual magic touch, Keith removed the two files using an unorthodox method that may have been the only way to do it. Wow. Impressive! As always, I’m a satisfied customer at BE Tek. Thank you!
