It was an interesting place. The coffee was good, the service was fine but they charge $1.25 just to upgrade to Oatmilk. That comes off greedy to me.Also, there were a ton of signs posted with a bunch of rules to follow. It felt micromanaged.Like I said, an interesting place! 😅

I love thier paninis and the chocolate mousse cake is to die for. The atmosphere is typically quiet. Also, they always remember to include a fork in my to go order. Little things matter.The reduced hours (only open until 2pm) really sucks. I wish they could be open late.

One of the only cafes Ive been to where I didnt even want to finish my coffee. Two different times (I thought the first must have been a fluke). I have only tried their coffee coffee so maybe their fancier drinks are better, but I usually just want a good drink of coffee.

Used to be my favorite coffeeshop in the city when theyd stay open til midnight. A great place to hangout late, great coffee, and a very welcoming ambience. Unfortunately after the shutdown, theyd changed their hours to 2pm so I havent been for almost a year at this point. Hoping they extend the hours to something more reasonable soon.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Kansas City. The staff is always very nice and helpful. The coffee is really good, and the atmosphere is great! I gave them a 4 because I noticed last time I was there that the tables weren’t being wiped after each costumer. I’m not sure if they were just busy but I was there for over an hour and a half and not one table was wiped.

As always a wonderful experience!Order as always hot chai tea with almond milk & a double shot of espresso, bought out most of the awesome 1/2 price day old pastries that I never tire of, & even snagged up a very warm and gooey cappuccino muffin, also was able to get some of the best chocolate covered espresso beans that are always a bad habit of mine. I always come back for more.

I ordered a white tiger blended drink and a cinnamon roll. My cinnamon roll was AMAZING- so soft and sweet. My drink is delicious as well- just a little too sweet for me. The barista was very nice. Only downside was it did take close to 20 minutes to get my order because there’s only one barista, but I’ll just give myself more time next visit!

Their service was fast and friendly. The staff was knowledgeable and let me take my time deciding what i wanted to order. The house coffee was delicious and the breakfast english muffin was also very good. I will definitely be going back to try their other products. 10/10

Ive been here twice to see the Boulevard Big Band. Great venue, intimate theater setting. Coffee house offerings are great and the Green Room Burgers and Beer bar downstairs is also great. You can order food and have it delivered to the theater.

Westport Coffee House is a hidden gem. Unlike other coffeeshops that are full of hip young kids who are posting up for the entire day and stealing all the electrical outlets, this place truly has a breadth of people from all different backgrounds. The coffee is good and there is plenty of seating and since not many people know about it, there tends to be space. I studied here when I was in school and it was one of the only places I could trust to actually have a seat when I came!

Always a great place with excellent service. Chloe helped me today and was very nice. I got the vanilla bean coffee with a shot of CBD, pretty damn delicious! Also their breakfast sandwiches and pita and hummus are very tasty.

Fine, but not for me.Place was too dark and lively for me. Didn’t end up getting much studying done there, you don’t get one free refill of coffee like other places do which was disappointing. However it’s not a bad place at all, just not for me.

We could work to reduce the plastic: washable utensils and wooden/bamboo stirs instead of straws. Self-serve drip coffee would be nice with self-serve creamers. Lets make it more green and save some $ on the throw-aways. The breakfast wrap was fresh and delicious!

I really like this coffee shop, but dont bother going on the weekends. Its not worth it. For some reason, Westport charges $5.00 to park. I cant justify paying $5.00 to come in and buy a $3.50 cup of coffee. I started going elsewhere on the weekends and now I go elsewhere on the weekdays as well. Ill come back, but not until Westport figures out a better solution to the parking. Sorry.

This place has a cozy atmosphere, with chill cafe music, a vintage-y feel, and occasional features of the work of local artists on the walls. A combination of well brewed coffee and espresso and tasty food and baked goods make this a place to keep coming back to. A great place to study, read, write, or meet up to chat, Westport Coffee House is a wonderful place.Light on decaf options, but great on everything else!

Coffee is good , but service leaves a lot to be desired. They probably feel like they can get away with less than great customer service because they are the only real coffee establishment that is open into the evening hours

This place has loads of syrup flavors for people like me who love experimenting with their frappes. They do serve breakfast foods and wonderful desserts if you want something to munch on too. They are connected to the Green Room and theres a performance room in between for music and improv nights.

After driving a while to wanted to stop somewhere new and just relax a little. Found this place and I wasnt disappointed. Driving through the neighborhood, I was a little hesitant at first. After sitting down, the vibe of the place was really chill. Quiet during the afternoon. A good place to get away and get work done. They have an indie vibe. Little items here and there that make this place unique and not so cookie cut out. Chill spot

Nice and cozy. Very friendly. One of the better coffee houses of town. Matches the free spirit of Westport very well. They brew their coffee with care. Sit down and have a cup of coffee, rather than to go.Try their strawberry cake, very nice, old fashioned, ...and I believe is with real strawberries...ask for a little whipped cream on the side if you want. Their quiches are good too!

It was my first time there, so I was a little slow ordering, but the staff was friendly and patient. Its a warm, quiet, urban atmosphere, very conducive for studying or conversing with a friend. The setting itself is not at all swanky, just relaxing. We spent almost four hours there just chatting!

I absolutely detest coffee, so when Im invariably invited to meet for coffee, I always suggest WCH: they have a much better selection of teas and cool soft drinks than the average coffee house.They also have an amazing selection of delicious cake and pastries which, sadly, as a diabetic, I can no longer enjoy. This doesnt stop me from leaving nose prints on the glass though...The always have a friendly and helpful staff, and do fun and funky events in the theater space downstairs.I also have it on good authority they pour a decent cup of java too, but I wouldnt know about that.

COME HERE IF YOU WANT BAD COFFEE , THE RUDEST SERVICE EVER, AND DIRTY BATHROOMS!I had been sharing a table with other people for about 10 min. The other people left and I was left alone at the table for about 5 min before an extremely rude employee told me to purchase something or move because I was taking up space. When I tried to explain that I just got to the shop and was sharing the table just 5 min ago, he rudely cut me off and repeated that I am taking up space. When I went to the counter to purchase a coffee, I hear the said employee making fun of me. I told the counter that this was the rudest treatment I had ever received and left.I had also heard many stories of customers being kicked out for bringing outside food into their shop (though there is no sign indicating that is not allowed), but since I rarely bring food into coffee shops I did not heed their warnings. I wish I had.their wifi password is :buy something more please. So this should say it all.GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR A GOOD COFFEE BREAK. TRULY THE RUDEST ESTABLISHMENT AND WORST COFFEE SHOP IN ALL OF KANSAS CITY.

Over priced, super small cups of espresso. Otherwise decent taste. Printer access requires you to send your documents to an encrypted email and then back to the printer instead of just computer to printer. Kind of annoying.

Nestled right near the heart of Old Westport, the aroma of nearby restaurants and coffee fill the scene. Inside is a nice (good sized) coffee lounge. A great selection of drinks and food items, favorite aspect of the shop an old phone booth on the left as you walk into the door. If youre a regular then you know what to do, but for someone new like me just ask the baristas to give you their recommendation and they wont let you down. Only recommendation, to help put the cherry on top, is flatter cups to help with presentation of drinks.Friendly staff, and nice laid back atmosphere. Looking forward to having the chance to come back next time I am in K.C. Keep it up guys.

Best little secret in Westport. Amazing coffee and pastries; with amazing prices. Chocolate and yogurt covered coffee beans are a secret addiction of mine since I was a child.

Super cute place, employees were nice and very helpful (pointing out the menu I didnt see right in front of me on the counter as I squinted at the wall menu, and pointing out the pastry case I didnt see right next to me) and were able to make my drink dairy-free upon request. Ambiance was great and it wasnt crowded.

This is a nice place with pastries, breakfast wraps, etc and an abundant flavors for coffee and tea. Their pumpkin spice chia is like a pumpkin pie in liquid form. AMAZING 👌 and Im not one of those crazy pumpkin spice everything people either. I was disappointed in my mug because there was a hunk taken out of the lip where I drink out of where I could cut myself. Its really spotted and should have been tossed out. I took a star due to that but otherwise love it and what other coffeeshop status open until midnight?! Good job guys

Its my open late spot, amazing tavern-like feel that serves my after hours nitro infused cold brew. Id rate em higher, but its always the same sour cup of nitro cold brew...I have faith in you guys, I believe it will get better! I go for the feels and the after hours experience, not the coffee.

Great drink assortment. Lots of alternative milks (rice,almond). Very stereotypical coffeehouse atmosphere (a little snooty, everyone wears beanies). Pretty cozy though and people are generally polite. If youre not an insider, it can be a little off-putting. Probably awesome for 16-25 crowd.

I did not appreciate my customer service experience here. The barista (girl with really short black hair) this Saturday afternoon had a poor attitude and was correcting me on my pronunciation of gyro pretending she didnt know what I was saying and rolling her eyes at me while I ordered. This is the second time I have been served by this girl and both times have been less than pleasant. She took 34 minutes after ordering to prepare my gyro because she was busy talking to her friends and forgot - twice. The place was practically empty with no lines and those behind me had already been served. She hastily made my meal at the last minute when asked about my order again and the finished product was definitely not worth the wait. Very off putting experience, do not think we will be returning.

Long lines and they messed up our order.I want to like the place a lot but there is no flow to the shop so when people are waiting for a drink they start piling up and sitting down. Twice someone else has grabbed my drink before I could get to it.They have some interesting drink choices and it has a 90s coffee bar vibe so if you have a lot of time then this is the place for you!

I am a huge plant person. My sister always said, A house with a lot of plants is a house with a lot of love. The pothos vines here stretch for dayz.Pretty good roast. Its strong and they give a refill or two, which is nice. I have spent plenty a day on my laptop here too. Im not sure why the bathroom door slam cant be fixed - kinda takes away from the coffee house, chill-ax, laptop vibe, but you never know. It could be fixed.Staff is, for the most part, laid back. Not over zealous, caffeinated, types.Good desserts as well.

In general, its a great spot. Its partially a victim of its own success as its often difficult to find seating. Youre very unlikely to be disappointed in their coffee, but recently I got a pretty weak cup of decaf (it was the late evening and Im not a madman, so dont slight me for this decision.) The staff is usually quite friendly, too.I will say, though, the mens restroom is in pretty rough shape... The equipment could use some TLC.

Hate to be this person (very atypical for my reviews), but I got a very strange vibe from this place. The drinks were ok, but staff were off putting and very cold - maybe they were just having a bad day. Theres also not a lot of space and the space itself isnt visually appealing. Bathroom really creeped me out - it was very dark and gross (I could hardly see). The muffin I ordered with my coffee tasted very odd, like medicine - didnt finish it. I wouldnt visit again. Again, very unsettling vibe.

When we had called in for more information about the improv show, the employee was pretty rude, and laughed at us. We simply asked if the show was free or not. It might sound like a dumb question, but we genuinely could not find any prices when looking it up on their website... Maybe update that before you rudely laugh people off, thanks a lot.

Employees always seem to rush when taking your order, but then they take their sweet time with any food prep. If you ask questions they seem to get annoyed. Not inpressed aside from the cute environment and quality of coffee. But customer service, or lack thereof, will most definitely prevent me from returning.

Staff may literally be retarded or too damn high. Had to repeat my order several times, and it took 10 minutes for them to grab a premade lemon bar out of the case.They did not have the proper coffee brewed at the moment and made the wrong coffee and added peppermint without asking, assuming it would be fine.Bathrooms are not very nice either and would not flush unless held down. Will not visit again.
