Stopped in on a random Saturday and wanted to get a birthday flower arrangement for my fiancé. The staff was super helpful and created an amazing arrangement in just a few minutes. Their knowledge of the the flower verities and what worked well together was so amazing. They even boxed it all up so nothing tipped in transport. It was just an amazing experience. Will be back again. If you need a special gift or a special flower arrangement, this is your place!

Purchased an arrangement for my girlfriends birthday. I ordered the flowers Sunday evening and needed them delivered Monday to her office. I was nervous about the short notice but Trapp and Company handled the order perfectly. The flowers were delivered on time and looked exactly like the photo listed online. I dont ofteb give a 5 star review. But I have never in 15 years purchased flowers from Trapp & Co that I was not in love with. You get what you pay for so in almost all cases your paying top dollar for your flowers. But if you have someone that deserves the best they can get it together for you. Great staff!

Called Trapp and Co. directly to order flowers for a relative who was in the hospital overnight. Kaitlynn was awesome. Great service, from suggesting an “easier to transport” arrangement to making sure the delivery made it prior to discharge (I called at 1:30 pm, didn’t even have a room number yet, patient was scheduled for discharge around noon the next day, and they made it happen!). Arrangement was beautiful. Would highly recommend, especially if you’re looking to get flowers delivered to the hospital near their store.

I go there to buy scented candles. And they are the best scented candles in existence. Everything else is super classy and would be really out of place in my weird apartment. Very nice home decor if thats what you want.

I ordered flowers from an online floral company that was fulfilled by Trapp and Company costing $50. The vase was not even full of flowers, there was no bow, only had 3 pink roses, 3 light pink carnations, no dark pink carnations, and only eight daises. Thats what was received from Trapp and Company. This wasnt even close to the bouquet that was pictured on the online floral company. I have posted photos.

They have filled my order from out of state twice a year for 4 years and I call this year to get the most bizarre unprofessional customer service experience I have ever encountered to say the least by a man named Justabi (not sure if that is the correct way to spell his name but not only would he not take my call to correct the problem he had several people call me back to say thats what the controller said NOT the manager or owner they say just the controller what ever that means!? No one knows what is going on or will take the blame so beware!

Their floral work is gorgeous, their store had so many wonderful finds and the staff is so friendly!! I happened upon them for flowers by chance and by even greater chance had to pop in to pick up the flowers due to a change in circumstances. Had no idea that they were such more than just a florist!!

I ordered centerpieces from Trapp and Co for an event I was planning and everyone I worked with there was extremely helpful. Everything was ready on time, packed well and looking great. I ordered an arrangement of cut flowers this past week and worked with floral designer Matt. The recipient of the flowers just emailed me to say it was the most beautiful arrangement she has ever seen and she sent me a picture. It, indeed, was a stunning creation and I just wanted to thank Matt for listening to the type of arrangement I was seeking and for so masterfully executing the vision I had for the finished product. The shopping and ordering experience was clear and concise and I could not be happier with my contact with Trapp&Co and for the beautiful creation they delivered.

Cant say enough good things about Trapp and Company. They did the flowers for our 50th Anniversary celebration at The American on June 24. The combination of orange roses, yellow and white orchids and white hydrangea were fabulous and we received so many compliments on them. We were happy to be able to send the table arrangements home with a dozen people.

This space is absolutely stunning! Their flowers, home decor, womens apparel and accessories are truly one of kind! I would highly recommend everyone going in to pick up gifts for their loved ones. Oh and grab a candle for yourself too!

I love Trapp candles and scents. It makes me very proud to be from Kansas City!! I never pass up an opportunity to brag about Trapp! In addition to being the best smelling candles in the world the price is also fantastic! Even when there isnt a sale, these candles, melts, sprays etc. are a SUPER value compared to other candles on the market. I have tried the very expensive candles and have not found one that compares to the amount of scent in Trapp candles!I personally use any left over candle wax from my Trapp candles in a wax melter so I never waste any product. I love Trapp!

The staff was not helpful! I felt very rushed and decided to leave without getting anything. Wanted to grab a quick arrangement of flowers for my wife, but decided to pass because of the people. Very stuffy, very unfriendly vibe.

Very disappointed by a recent custom order that I had placed for my daughters engagement party. I was quoted $150.00 for a centerpiece that I asked to be an engagement ring. I thought the quote was reasonable for the quality of this establishment and was expecting a very professional look! I had discussed with the designer to cover a foam florist ring with magnolia or lemon leaves and spray paint them silver for the ring and to top it off with white roses and surround them with small white spider mums to replicate my daughters ring. I asked for it to be setting in a bed of greenery and flowers that would be within the price range. She said they might need to go over in the price a bit which was acceptable to me. I called the designer midweek to ask if she had any questions and she indicated she had a good idea of the design and never mentioned using cardboard, moss or foam core. The day of the event I was called and asked if I could pick up the centerpiece later in the day from the agreed 3:00 p.m. time because they had been very busy since it was a Saturday. I agreed to pick up the centerpiece right before they closed at 5:00 which was right before my party was to begin. When I arrived I was handed a 3 foot long styrofoam rectangle covered in moss with glitter ribbon surrounding it. Atop the mossy foam covered piece was a cardboard ring that was spray painted with glitter silver paint. The flowers were glued onto cardboard cutouts to represent the diamonds of the ring. I was terribly disappointed as I was expecting a floral centerpiece. All I could see was cardboard! I was told they would only charge me 1/2 price ($75.00) since I was so disappointed, which I am still not happy about. There was nothing I could do since they were about to close and the party was about to begin! As they handed me the piece to carry out of the store, my hand was almost cut by the sharp brads that were sticking out of the underneath side of the piece anchoring the ring. I went back inside to explain the sharp metal would cut the seat of my car and would not be acceptable to place on the dining table for fear of scratching the wood of the table. They promptly took the piece, turned it over and cut off the sharp bottom edges and sent me on my way placing some tissue on the seat of my car. Very disappointed and embarrassed to put the piece on the center of the table sat the mossy foam core covered board with the cardboard ring. There were some scattered white spider mums sitting atop the moss that were stuck into the foam core and looked whimsical, but not one person commented or said what a beautiful centerpiece. Some curious guests asked if I had made it, knowing that I had some floral design experience, and I was happy to say no way and that I had contracted a professional florist and this is what I got! Definitely not worth the $150 I was quoted, and not happy that I was actually charged $75 plus tax.

We really enjoyed the floral arrangements that you guys did for our sons wedding. Although we cannot take any credit as it was the brides side of the family that hired you. All of our vendors were great from you guys, to the catering company to The KC All Stars band, everyone was perfect.

I ordered an expensive, nice flower bouquet for Valentines Day from Trapp. The flowers that were delivered werent terrible in their own regard, but a very watered down version of what I ordered from the websites description and picture. I emailed to voice the discrepancy and displeasure, but no response.I would not recommend this florist. Poor quality and no-customer service... its a trap.

Nana ordered a special basket from Stephen and it was the most unusual and wonderful gift. They delivered it to me at Childrens Mercy all my nurses said they see a lot of deliveries but this had them all clucking. It had the most unique bouquet of flowerswe have ever seen. He personalized the basket with my faves..Skittles and Starbursts. Then includedLuxury spa items and a room deodorizer that eliminated the hospital smells. I cant wait to get home and pamper myself! My mom said forget the rest..Trapps is where she will be ordering in the future. Thank you Nana, Stephen and Carrie.

UPDATE: After my initial review Trapp and Company reached out and offered to make things right. They ended up resending the original arrangement, which turned out beautiful. The difference between the two arrangements was day and night. What they sent the second time was a true work of art. Side by side you would not believe both arrangements were from the same company. I would recommend either placing your order in person or over the phone.ORIGINAL REVIEW: This past week my Grandmother found out her cancer has spread and only had a few more months to live, so I wanted to send something to brighten up her room. I chose Trapp and Company because they had mostly five star reviews and judging by their higher prices I assumed more care would be taken when putting together the arrangement. I settled on the Love in Bloom arrangement with tulips, hyanthis, and greenery, which came out to ~$99 with taxes and delivery. I send flowers quite often and from my experience an arrangement like this would typically be $45-$55 at other florists, but I gladly paid the premium because I wanted this to be perfect for her. What was delivered was far from it. The flowers looked as if they had been randomly put in the vase with little care. The tulips were already fully opened and nearing the end of their lifespan, and there was all but no greenery. It looked like it had been in the cooler too long already and they were trying to just get it out the door. Since I do not live in town I ordered this through their website; had I ordered in person maybe it would have been a better experience. All in all I would not suggest using Trapp and Company for your floral needs; extra costs did not equate to extra care. Florists using the Teleflora platform seem to have much more consistency across locations at more reasonable prices.
