Best selection of ponytails! Came thru big time for my daughters Homecoming! She was beautiful!

I arrived 10 mins to closing and promptly picked out my items... (so much to chose from, so much better than the one on Truman) anyways after checking out and walking outside I quickly found my ride had left me. Obviously this isnt known to he the best part of town but the owner and what I assume to be his family waited in their cars until I had a ride safely pick me up and that just meant the world to me. After a long day in sure he was more than ready to make it back home but instead took time to wait to ensure my safety. ♡♡

Great place to shop reasonably with price its big great customer service kind staff clean I always find with Im looking for and everyone there is like family when you come through the door.

I spent my time in the parking lot passing out food, the people who own the place are kind enough to allow us to pass out the food,so in that it says what kind of people own and operate it. Stop by and show support to the good people who allow the homeless to be fed in their place

I go there all the time to get my hair products to dye my hair will this one particular time I went in there and I was getting my regular developer number 40 when the guy behind the counter theres no get 50 matter fact he insisted on it 50 I said are you sure because 40 works on my hair pretty good he said no 50 so I get 50 I it on my hair not even 2 minutes and it burned my hair out like my hair came completely out I went back around there to let him know all he can offer me with some Samplers of conditioner other than that its a pretty good story but I will not take any advice from anyone there it was a young guy but I will not take any advice for as hair products on dying your hair

Great customer quality care and a beautiful family owned establishment which has catered to the Urban Core for many years.AQ offers a variety of haircare products, various types of hair weaves, wigs, ponytails and numerous quality brand names that are reasonably priced to paying a few extra dollars. Additionally, AQ offers apparel, shoes and designs that will catch your eyes!I prefer to shop at this location and I drive approximately 25 miles to the city. Usually, I can find what I need and the staff is informed of the products stocked on their shelves which is important to me. Its a huge locations and worthwhil the visit.

Parking lot nightmare before you enter store. This store has limited choices for natural hair extensions COLOR MIXES. Some of us have BROWN HAIR and need 4, 6, 8 color mixes. Decent pricing on makeup items. Wigs are bloody awful on selection. The prices have gone up exponentially here!!!! This location caters to POC who want to wear 100 unicorn mermaid weaves🤢The Store stays stocked and clean. But for the precarious parking lot and lack of options for people who dont have 1, 1b hair, it is only good for a limited audience. I have a lucrative, professional job and mermaid hair is not in our dress code and hopefully never will land there. Hideous choices for brown haired folks.The sales Suck at AQ. Star Beauty has better pricing, large variety for brown-haired people, better sales on new exciting items. Star Beauty @ I-70 & Noland Rd rocks!

Very quiet in the store. Helpful n pleasent employees. Its usually the customer(s) that can be a hassle n the problem.The parking is a bit rough being the parking are barely visible.

Customer service skills are horrible and once you walk inside of the store they are watching you like a criminal. Highly not recommend take your service some where else( FYI AQ invest into a better foundation where customers can actually park instead of feeding off of african americans hard earn money!

The parking lot is So disrespectful to the customers that shop there...the Humongous Pot holes that fill the lot will tear your car up, coming in and out...made lots of Money in this community for YEARS, but have not invested it back, at least not in their parking lot...I cant shop there anymore, cause Im too outdone on the parking lot

People in this store are very money hungry and find a way to not honor their advertisements. Only hair supply in area which is why i think they believe they can be rude. Fortunately i have capabilities to go to other beauty supply stores and they will not get any more of my money

I always feel like they look at EVERY customer as if theyre coming to their establishment to steal. Some people actually come in there to spend honest money and the men behind the counter look at u as if u are a criminal about to commit a crime. I wish I had somewhere else to get my beauty supply needs

Yes yes yes. Been shopping here for over 10 years. My all time favorite. My sister is a braided and lives in another state so I took her here to stock up on braiding hair. They also carry jewelry, purses, and makeup. But the hair care products are unmatched. Ponytails, lace fronts, half wigs, lashes, perfumes. Brow grooming kits. You name it, they got it. I shop here REGULARLY.

I live in Independence and I drive all the way here to get all of my hair products and weave. It is definitely worth the drive. The owners and workers are very sweet and helpful and I love bringing my family and friends that havent been..they fall in love with this store. Went there because I seen online that they had nice, selection of hair! But I didn’t purchase because; I was watched every step I take!! I don’t steal I am a business owner!!! I was very uncomfortable for sure an I will not return!!!!

A little pricy but okay

The service was great! They were friendly and knowledgeable of their merchandise. Went in for 2 certain items, and found 2 more items that sparked my interest. To my surprise this only took about 15 minutes.

If I could give a zero to this store I would. One employee followed me throughout the store because I was taking pictures of products to compare prices at other places. I guess she felt like I was spying on the store or something. She said I was making her feel “uncomfortable.” Well maybe she wouldn’t feel that way if she wasn’t following me. So fair warning they might profile you here and I don’t plan on going to this store ever again.

Im giving two stars because their customer service has improved over the years but unfortately not enough for me to continue to be a customer or give five stars. First of all, when you walk in they immediately watch your every move. I understand that you have some people who steal & you have to watch out but its very rude when all Im simply doing is browsing and they nearly break their necks or go into a slight panic if I disappear behind a shelf. The owner stands behind the counter with his arms folded as if hes waiting for me to steal or waiting me for to decide to purchase or leave. It all makes me not even want to buy and most of the time I dont which is why I rarely come here anymore. Secondly, they price their products ridiculously high. The same hair gel they have priced for $6.99 is 3.99 OR LESS elsewhere, I dont get it. Thirdly, dont dont have a large selection. Most products I use on my hair today cant be found in this store which is an even bigger reason why I dont shop here any longer. They have a lot to improve before I ever come back as a regular customer.
