All the guys were nice and they didnt charge me, it was for something less than $15. But Id go to them if you need tires or an oil change

Called the night before but no one answered. Drove all the way out there only to find automotive had been shut down so they could STOCK SHELVES! Now I understand being short handed but goodness... cant you warn folks with a phone message or something? Pathetic!

Terrible. They could not get the oil filter off to change the oil. And I checked under the hood, and they left the oil cap lying on the engine, not screwed into hole. Un impressed.

My experience was TERRIBLE, now they have panhandlers INSIDE the store. Told the staff about it, even pointed the person out they was panhandling and the staff did nothing.

I bought tires online from them with roadside assist When something happened to my tire they act like they didn’t want to fix it they let me leave in the winter time I want to doughnut and she took them three hours just to change a flat

I called in to find out if they accepted appointments. I was told no everything is walk in first come first served. I showed up at 12:30 pm and was told they are no longer seeing anyone because they are backed up and had no time frame on when I could come back or possibly be seen. Extremely disappointed because I had to catch a ride to get a service but was not helped. Also they said they do not sale spare tires but the site says they do.

At 3 oclock they were no longer doing oil changes because they had several tire jobs left. Theres 5 bays which means there should be staff for 5 bays during a holiday weekend

Even with an appointment, it took them over an hour to tell me they couldnt change my tire. Then I waited another forty minutes just to get my car key back. Two hours wasted for them to do absolutely nothing.

Got there before they opened, was about 3rd in line to purchase a tire. Waited about 3 hours while they did all oil changes and pushed everyone buying tires behind the oil changes. Called this morning to give them another try for a tire, nobody in whole store answered the phone. Done!

Truthfully I am never one to complain or write reviews other than well earned compliments. With that being said I couldnt help but feel I needed to share my thoughts on my experience today. I came in for an oil change and to fix a flat. After waiting in line for an honest twenty minutes I was finally helped. I began to tell the front desk about the services I needed today and was immediately interrupted by the woman behind the front desk. Again I am not one to complain and I understand everyone has bad days at work so I shrugged it off. Throughout the process of her gathering my information she was very short and had come across very rude. I gave them my keys and was told it would be a wait, which I had agreed would be okay. After two hours of patiently waiting I was called to the desk and told they couldnt fix my tire. It took them two hours for an oil change and to check my tire. At this point my patience had worn pretty thin, I understand they were just following the guidelines that were given to them from Walmart itself but two hours seems a bit long. I asked for them to put my spare tire on and I would go elsewhere. I drove down the road to a tire place that happily fixed my tire. Best part was it was finished in under twenty minutes and they were extremely helpful and kind, not to mention had twice as many cars in its lot to be worked on. Now I have made the mistake of going to Walmart for any car services the last time and honestly you couldnt pay me enough for me to go back and do it again. My suggestion to you is dont waste your time, because Walmart clearly doesnt care and does not respect your time.

The wait here is usually very long, even if you go shopping while you wait. Ive tried to get my tires balanced here but they failed, even after a second attempt. (I ended up going to Discount Tire and they got it right.) Also, my friend took her car here recently because one of her tires kept going flat. She aired it up, went to Walmart and bought a new tire. Walmart replaced the wrong tire, throwing away one of her good ones and and leaving her with the faulty tire which went flat again. They blamed her, saying she had told them to replace the wrong tire, and treated her pretty coldly. So thats it for me, Im going to take my car elsewhere for anything tire related. Its not worth the hassle or the wasted time.

I dont usually take the time to write bad reviews, but this Auto Center was so awful I thought it was necessary. The employees literally avoided the front desk because it was thirty minutes to close and they did not want to stay late. Meanwhile several patrons including myself had flat tires and no way to drive home. If anyone has recommendations on where I can receive decent customer service and get my tire patched that would be greatly appreciated.

I took my car in for all 4 tires to be replaced and my experience was decent. The staff was friendly and helpful and followed my instructions to keep 2 of the 4 tires I was replacing. I had a little trouble at first because I had ordered a set of tires online and the order had been lost so I was issued a replacement order and was told they were at the store and ready for pickup. When I got to the store they told me the tires werent there yet but looked into it when I explained the situation and they found the tires. The mechanic notified me that one of my rims was bent and I freaked but he was able to bend it back into place and mount the tire. The only reason I cant give 5 stars is because it took SO LONG. I was there a little over 3 hours.

I bought two new tires and explained very clearly to the young man assisting me at least three times I needed the new tires put on the front and the existing front ones put on the back. I also made it clear they did not have to dispose of the two old ones that I would take them with me. Make a long story short, I realize they charged me for tire disposal and didnt even touch my back tires. So I go back today to get the tires switched (glad they didnt dispose of them!) and after a two hour wait they still dont get either tire changed out. I am more than dissatisfied. It wasnt an unusual request for service. I will not waste my time and money here again.

Waited 2+ hours for a battery installation and a high mileage oil change. Took about 20 minutes to get checked in, with employees walking around doing seemingly nothing. The mechanic said what, did you not want to put the battery in yourself? No, I didnt, thats why I brought it here. Never coming here for autowork ever again!Edit: I got in at about 7:10 am and havent left yet and its 9:30 am

Oil change takes 3.5 hrs, I see my car sitting outside. I get informed that that was just for the oil changes. Itll be another 2 hrs for a balance and rotate.. never again will i spend another dime with Walmart automotive. Ever. I will tear up my warraties. Id rather spend my entire day off doing something other than sitting in Walmart. The employees have zero empathy or care either. They seem to hate their jobs as much as I do sitting here for 5 hrs.

20170918 - Worse service I have ever received from any store, not just Walmart Tire and Lube. I went into Walmart Tire and the clerk asked if I wanted to drop off my tire, that it would be quicker. What he did not tell me is that would be quicker for the store and more inconvenient for me.When I asked Denise why I could not get the vehicle information on the sales slip, she said that I just dropped the tire off. If I wanted to have it added, I would have to have the ticker re-written, which I agreed for her to do. Then I asked how long would it take and she said that there are four people ahead of me, about two hours, I told her that I have already been here that long, that I was here before those four people.She told me that she could not do any thing about it and then said sarcastically, Have a Good Day! I told her that I was going to give this Walmart Tire and Lube a bad report and she just shrugged and turned away from me. How rude this clerk Denise acted to me..

Associates are rude and non responsive to high volumes in lines. I called to check on my car twice and stayed on hold more than 20 minutes with no answer. Associates are slow and disengaged. Typical for this Walmart and the area in general in terms of quality service.

Went to buy tires and was told that I couldnt purchase the tires I wanted because they were saving them for the Black Friday sale (5 days before the sale), my only choice were the more expensive tires. That was ridiculous! I went to the Independence location and they sold me the tires I wanted and I was in and out. I usually go to this location but I will never go back, that was horrible customer service. I would never recommend this place to anyone. They dont deserve a star rating at all!

Recently went here. Service was very poor. I had tires put on my car and payed for the best tires, I just went to my mechanic and it was made clear that the tires I payed for were NOT the tires that were put on my car!

This people dont care about customers.. they said it would take 1 hour and a half to install 2 tires ... The time came and my car was still outside.. went inside and ask for my keys. Manager didnt apologize or anything.. just hand me my keys.. never again...

The staff makes the entire experience even more stressful with their ghetto and unprofessional tone and attitudes. If this wasnt down the street, Id limp my bad tire all the way to Lees Summit for a longer wait time in a more pleasant environment.

This has to be the worse location possible. I went there three different times .The first time I stood there for two hours to pick up a battery that they never charged . I waited two hours because there was know workers at the counter and a front manager had to be called. The next two visits was to get new tires . I showed up 6 hours before they closed to be told they were not waiting on new customers. The second of theattwo visits I was told this by a manager and she was the rudest lady I have ever met.

As much as Id like to give them a good review because I have been loyal to Wal Mart tire centers for years, I have to give a poor grade. I chose Wal Mart tire centers because they are cheaper than the competition and they help me in a pinch. This tire center however is short staffed, and the staff they have are poorly educated in customer service. I imagine it is hard to work under those conditions. Wal Mart should make a great effort to train workers and pay mechanics to work here.

Front desk employees are slow and dont care dont help much walmart management needs to do something about this already please this location would be so convenient if it wasnt for this and the reviews above....

Went to the tire shop at the WalMart on Bolger. They said tire was not repairable since nail was to close to sidewall. They did not have the replacement tire in stock. Took over 35 minutes in line to just retrieve the keys to the car. Went to the WalMart on Highway 40, they said come back tomorrow not likely to get to it tonight. Returned the following day, only 2 in front of me (both oil changes), 3 hours later, they still had not looked at the car. When we arrived 4 hours and 30 minutes later, was told they looked but could find no leak. Took car back only to find tire pressure light still glowing brightly. Same tire they examined and found no leak. These are the most incompetent and rude service centers I have found in 40 years of dealing with WalMart.

No call when tire repair was complete. Nobody answered the phone. Rang and rang more than once for 15 to 20 minutes. Got hung up on. Ridiculous beyond belief

Where do I start. First off when I asked for the tire that had the best noise reduction, the guys says I never heard of that before. Picked the tires checked in the car and they pulled it into the bay. Left and sat by my phone waiting for a call and nothing. Call them and they say its ready. Go there and nothing was done. They said its Wal-Mart policy that they cant replace just 2 tires on an AWD vehicle they have to change them all. I needed 2 front tire cause one blew out. Rear tires still have 11/32 of tread which is still way over DOT regs. I will never go buy a single thing from this Walmart ever again. Not even a candy bar. Go to the 39th street walmart its much better!!!

Made an appointment for 5 pm to get one tire changed . They told me 30-40 minutes, so I went grocery shopping to pass the time. Came back an hour later and was told there were still 2 cars ahead of me. It’s now almost 7:30 and I’m still sitting here.

They told me itd take an hour to an hour and a half. Two and a half hours later Im still waiting on my basic oil change.The lady working kept complaining about being short staffed and hours being cut due to new company policy.
