Great supermarket. Tons of Asian foods.but charge 7 cents for a plastic shopping bag and they dont notify you...bad

Their Scale is not accurate, will charge you for almost double the actual weight of what you bought. (My scale is in grams, i just converted). Beware.

Great place for Asian products and even just for fresh produce and fish they have it, they also have some amazing mochi ice cream

I came here when I was visiting the river market and absolutely loved it. I didnt know there were so many different varieties of ramen. It is a really great place, I highly recommend it.

This place is a journey for your senses! It is a genuine Asian marketplace with live seafood. The staff is nice. The layout is fairly easy to navigate. There are so many things here to explore and try out if you enjoy experimenting with new foods.

A big Asian store with variety of items from Asian food items, fresh and frozen seafood, fresh meat, fruits/vegetables and a lot more. They even have kitchen items and cosmetics. I get most of my Asian veggies and condiments here. I wish they install a more efficient air vents to minimize the unpleasant smell.The store just started charging for plastic shopping bags and encouraging bringing your own bags. I kinda like the idea since I’m big on recycling/saving the environment.

Cant say as Ive been to many other Asian markers to compare this to but the few times Ive gone to this one they have been well stocked, the staff is helpful, and they have lots of products (mostly from China, Korea, and Japan though Ive also seen other languages on packaging) including dry good, produce, meats, treats, and various non food items.Great to check out if you are already stopping by the farmers market next door.

This place has been open for years and was once one of only a few Asian markets in the area. Over the years there have been some improvements but it is nowhere near as nice as 888 international market but it has a decent selection with several different brands of similar products and is so much closer and convenient than 888.There are several different aisles for snacks, Japanese ingredients, canned food, but the majority of the stores products cater to Chinese cuisine. In the back is a large freezer section and butcher. This is an excellent place to find decently priced off cuts or more exotic meats. There a large array of fresh fish and seafood that can be cleaned and cut to your preference.They also have foreign beers and Vietnamese style baguettes perfect for making your own banh mi or sandwiches. Definitely grab a few of these at the checkout.

A lot of things crammed into this place! Great location, with all of the foot traffic from being in the River Market area it can get a little crammed though. Great produce and a decent selection of frozen and pantry necessities, too. Always my first choice when looking for more authentic Asian and islander staples in the KCMO metro area.

This place offers a great variety in food products and other Asian items. There is plenty of space for a grocery cart considering how much product is in the store. They have tried to place items according to origin but with the account and the options they have, its impossible to segregate everything. Its also home to quite an impressive fresh seafood area.

Great meat Dept! As everything we need

Oh boy! It has international beers from Asian countries. I got my Angkor beer made in Cambodian here. Their seafood section is awesome! There is plentiful goodies, veggies, and snack to choose from. Their staff are friendly. The place is cleaned and has plenty parking spots.

This place smells really weird but they have a lot of items you wouldnt find in a typical midwestern grocery store. Def recommend if youre looking to try something new or something authentically Chinese.

Good selection, tiny aisles! This place feels very cramped, with tiny aisles and rooms. Best to avoid it if youre claustrophobic, or go when its empty. But if you are looking for fresh or frozen seafood, unusual produce, or any manner of packaged Asian food, this is the place for you. They even had a beer we couldnt find anywhere else, San Miguel.

For years this market has provided customers foods not easily found primarily from east asia. A fish market gives the place its own ambience and veggies otherwise impossible to find. Located in the River Market of Kansas City north of the downtown loop.

One of the largest Ive been to complete with butcher and seafood shop.

If you dont mind the smell of a fish market there are a lot of great shelf items. Only place with Kewpie Mayo in stock!

Great selection of food from various Asian cuisines. Has fresh meat counter, and refrigerated produce. A good variety of dry goods. Has a food truck outside that you can order cooked food.

Wide selection, including the seafood and butcher counters you expect. Most employees Ive met dont speak much English, so you have to find someone youngish, know what you want, or be willing to experiment, as I have done there over the years.

I love the different things and management is nice and very helpful. The proudcuts are well maintained

Got almost everything an Islander or Oriental would need to make home cooked meals feel like were back on home lands. I just dont think their parking lot is safe. Its too narrow or small.

Little pricey, but they have a lot of stuff. As well as fresh 🐟, lobsters and 🦀. Great place and friendly employees. I recommend it.

Good little asian store to shop at. Typically have what I need. If you have a sensitive nose though, Id take caution coming in here because of their live seafood/ fish area in the back.

A lot of good flavors Ive often never even seen anywhere else. Its really easy to spend more than you expect (at least for me), but its very much worth it because what you get is so good. Its also fun to be able to say you got Kit Kats from Taiwan.

To find anything that you need to create great Asian food. So many different types of teas and seafood. Very good prices and service. Observant of Covid protocols and social distancing.

They have litterally everything for asian food, highly recommended if you like Asian food. Only down side is due to having a fresh fish section, it does smell like fish. Other than that awesome place with great prices!

They have alot of products, however many of the items are overpriced and could easily be bought elsewhere for less.

Loved this place even the other customers were awesome I didnt know what I was looking for and a gentleman in the tea department helped me find it and he didnt even work there. It was a great experience.

If you need anything oriental, this is your one stop shop. Sooooo many different teas to choose from. Sooooo many different things you wouldnt normally see at a regular grocery store. The 5th star was left out because the price on some of the products seem really high. Overall, theyve got what you need. I stopped in for spring roll supplies.

The biggest and most well stocked asian grocery store in KC If youve been having trouble finding an ingredient that is rare check with these guys before you give up and be pleasantly surprised when you fund it here!

Ok Asian market. No very big, but a good variety. Small parking lot may force you to park on side street. No sign of Chinatown in the area. But if you go, you should check out the farmers market which is only half a block away, and the City of Kansas Overlook is about one block towards the river.

I can find incredible things here, usually with more reasonable prices. I love browsing the aisles just to learn about foods and spices Ive never heard of.

Larger bags of rice, and I can also get exfoliant brushes for my skin here... Such an extensive range of items!

Awesome Asian market in Kansas City! Great selection of meat, frozen fish, fresh fish, produce, Asian dry goods, toys, etc. They have their own parking lot.

This store will delight your palate.

Multitudes of various Oriental seasonings, sauces, sodas, snacks and seafoods. Their fresh cut pork is one of the best in town. Their far eastern fruits and vegetables are also top of the line.

Amazing variety of products from many countries. Ive always been very happy with the quality and pricing. Its a great place to buy gifts and treats as well, from delicate teas and dishes to tasty sweets and snacks. Well worth the trip downtown, no matter where you live in the metro area.

It’s rather claustrophobic but the selection is great! There’s much more then Chinese, theres also Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, and even Filipino! Very nice place!
