I like how the employees dont seem high-strung. They seem pretty laid back. Usually pretty helpful too. Most of them speak clearly when approaching me. Which I like cuz I dont really like saying what and huh when I am approached (I feel as if it may seem as if I am unintelligent huh...? What...? 🤔) My absolute favorite thing about Home Depot is there clearance markdowns. Also those special surprises when you checkout and the item scans out for a penny! Winning! Its a great place to buy discount paint its probably one of the things I buy most. Ive scored some pretty phenomenal colors and stains for a whopping $0.50 or $2 over the years.

I made a large bulky purchase and the employees Ike and Mario went above and beyond helping me. I was really impressed with the level of customer service I received. We will definitely frequent this Home Depot for all our needs in the future.

My boyfriend and I were there to pick up some vinyl flooring and everyone was helpful and nice 🙂

I found everything I needed quickly in this store.They were very busy in the paint department and I needed a quart to finish a project, and didnt have much time.Then I witnessed a very efficient (front end) manager, Lori, who did an amazing job running the paint department by herself. I thought the wait would be long but she expertly got through the line and kept it running smoothly for her customers. She deserves a raise for sure! Great customer service and good advice too!

Decent prices and availability, but terrible communication from staff. Upon telling a few staffers that I was there to pick up an item and showing them my receipt, they walked off... Leaving me with an open computer. Thankfully I didnt do anything, but thats neither courteous or safe for your business.

Honestly one of the worst home depots around. Staff never knows what Im talking about. But more importantly they never have what I need in stock. I always have to go out to the Shawnee mission home Depot off Johnson drive to either find what Im looking for or find someone knowledgeable.

Curb-side pickup that was offered was not in operation. # to call while waiting in curbside pickup was useless. Finally went in side to pickup order and excuse given was it was after pickup time is why service was not available. I informed that I was there for the last 20 min trying to make contact up until the designated time of 6:00...... DONT MAKE FALSE EXCUSES.....

This store has the best Pro customer service of all stores in the KC area. Friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help.

I have been going to this store for years. Sometimes if you have certain items youre looking for you can look on line for that store and find that particular isle where its at and itll save you some time.

Finally i met an expert associate in this store. Cheryl is awesome, expert, and professional Home depot member. i would be glad to deal with her everytime i visit this store.

Ordered product on app but of course the store doesn’t have the product as described. Says 19 Trash cans in stock but store says they have misplaced the lids. Asked if I can get a substitution told no. Only option was to cancel my order and reorder then wait for a refund because that’s all they can do. Oh of course the items that they do have are nearly twice as much. Very disappointed in this store which never seems to have hardly any items in stock that it says on the app. Especially this location in the inner city. How ironic. 😏I will be going to Lowe’s they are friendlier and have better products anyway!

They are obviously understaffed in the lumber department, as someone had to hunt down someone for that department to help us. In the first 3 minutes of trying to assist us, at least 3 other associates came around the corner telling the associate helping us, that they needed to go help someone else. The gentleman tried but the stock did not match the displays and he could not find what we were looking for and as he didnt unload it and didnt know where else the listed stock would be. He just sort of slipped away instead of answering my follow up questions because he was obviously overwhelmed. Dont waste your time coming here just go to Lowes.

The older I get the more difficulty it is for me to clean my house. I needed a little help. So, off to the one place that has everything you needed to use to clean.(and anything else)Home depot has the largest variety of various items. If you need it; they have it. Knowledgeable staff, large space.It just needs food court, and I would try to move in. They got everything from ovens, grills refrigerators, and dishwashers. Patio furniture, windows, fireplaces, and even birdfeeders. Tell me what else does a girl need...

I absolutely love the Home Depot, I went to buy a replacement piece for my faucet and found it quickly but still ended up being there for over an hour looking around at all the cool stuff .They always have what I need. If you cant find it, just ask an employee and they will walk you right to it.

Some workers are just walkikgblije zombies..killing time. But I like that they have everything organize.

The assistant managers are terrible! I asked for the general manager and was told hes in the hospital so good luck with that worst customer service ever. Not accommodating. Had the wrong price listed on a fridge and I didnt notice until I got home and looked at my digital receipt. They refused to honor the price. Too bad for them I got it at that price anyway from customer service. Dont go here ever!!! Ill be driving into the city to go to home depot from now on until theres new managers.

Mary was so helpful helping me find what I needed. I was impressed with how she new at the front door exactly where I needed to go. She was very nice. What a great representative of customer service. Its a big box store. You can treat it as a one stop shop for most all your home, appliance, lawn, garden, & tool shopping.

Andrew in the paint dept in the store on Bannister in KCMO was very helpful with some chaulking info. Paula in the plumbing dept helped me with an issue I was having with my garbage disposal...they are both awesome employees!!

I did curbside pick up for two ginormous toliet and these ladies handled it like a champ! They even let me pick up in two trips cause this girl does not drive a truck! So professional and customer service friendly!

Store has a good selection. Sometimes hard to find someone to help you. Overall, I like Home Depot and the products I buy from them. My only 2 drawbacks are the associates do not receive enough training (or they just dont care) and everything is self check out. For that percentage of people that will and always will have issues with self check out, there should be a live person check out option for them. The reason I gave the store 4 stars is because the staff at this store are very helpful to the best of their knowledge, 98% of them are polite, the products are outstanding and the selection is fantastic!

Some of the staff are there for just a job, stocking shelves. Find the experienced guys who know what their talking about. Dustin was EXTREMELY helpful in my tile inquiry. Bought the right product for the job because of his advice. 10/10 would recommend again!

Any In-store items I need are usually there. I usually check online to verify they have it first. Online orders not in stock are usually delivered accurately and on time. There have been times when a couple big items, not in stock, have been damaged and required reorder -- but eventually I received them in good shape.

This store has very helpful staff. For the first time in many store visits in other locations, I did not have play hide and seek with employees. One came to me at the beginning of my visit.

I love this Home Depot! Staff is always friendly and ready to help you. They greet you when you come in, ask if theres anything they can help you with and acknowledge you when you leave.

This Home Depot is great and has everything one would need to do DIY home improvements. They have the cleanest home depot i have seen and Ive been to Home Depots in 4 different states.

Curbside pick-up was useless....had to go inside yo get my order after waiting more than 20 minutes. Cheryl, a manager, was very nice and help load my order.

Disappointed with the service. Curbside is advertised but its not available. Sat in my car for 30 minutes despite following the notification process...watched an older couple get out of their car to go into the store to get their curbside order. Calls to the store went unanswered.

We pretty much live here. Home Depot always had what we are needing during our house renovations. They are reasonably priced and associates are always helpful

Went in for a small deep freeze and come home with one. Would have liked it to be a little cheaper then it was for the size i got but overall satisfied with the one i purchased.

They had everything we needed to complete our outdoor project. We built the fire pit and the benches.

Stock was really low they where completely out of spade shovels

People who work here are very helpful. It’s always clean and well stocked. However, I deducted a star because I always go here for paint and have to wait a long time to talk to someone. It is often very busy with busy lines. But hey, it’s still great service and I always find what I need!

The Bannister location is a joke. No handicap carts, broken down wheelchair. Very hard for my handicap wife to go shopping with me.

By far, this is the friendliest Home Depot in all of Kansas City! It is worth driving a little further if you arent happy with the one nearest to you. The workers and the customers are very diverse and anyone there is willing to help you out if you cannot find something. Check-out personnel are always friendly and efficient.

You can buy most everything you need hardware wise - as long as you dont mind searching quite awhile for certain items

I DID RECEIVE A RESPONSE SOMEONE WILL BE RIGHT OUT WITH MY ORDER. I HAD TO FLAG DOWN TWO DIFFERENT ASSOCIATES BEFORE A THIRD ONE BROUGHT MY ORDER OUT. The Home Depot isnt the generic warehouse it used to be; it is becoming a speciality store. That said, good luck finding unsponsored products and parts. Its specificity makes it average.

Today I stopped by the rental department needing a lawn mower and had the BEST experience. Tanisha helped me find the perfect lawn mower and gave fantastic customer service. She stayed even after her shift was over to make sure we were taken care of. I will definitely be back to this location.

They have most things youll need for home repair. Prepare for self checkout, because they almost never have people at registers. They do have employees to help with self checkout if needed.

Pro- curb side pick-up was pretty quick.Cons- I ordered 7 smallish things on Thursday, it wasnt ready until late Saturday. I picked up Sunday morning and found it was only 2 of my items. All were stated to be in stock at the bannister store.There is a heavy inconvenience to their convenient pick up.

Pricing is okay, it was difficult to get answers. I left with more questions and no solutions. This establishments needs experienced help.

Couldnt get help with a locked up product. Went to Lowes instead.
