Get shipping quotes in writing!Went there yesterday and got a quote for appx $72. Today, the same package to the same destination UPS wanted $84. When I told the representative what I was quoted the day before he shrugged his shoulders and said I have no idea how they quoted you that rate. At this point it wasnt about the cost difference but rather the lack of customer focus and service. He did not even care if he lost my business.The good news for me is that FedEx Ground is only a few miles away and their rate did not change from yesterday.

At the end of long day, when they should be happy about closing up, Derek is so helpful, honest, knows his stuff on printing up needed pic & posters. Derek is like, remember the smartest guy in school, that is Derek!Thank you so much for helping me! I will never another UPS stores, I just the customer service. In fact I have a stack of work to be finished up, Im going in the day Derek is on shift. Montana needs more workers like Derek!

After suffering years of poor customer service at the Whitefish UPS Store, I finally dumped them for good after their blatantly rude and unprofessional treatment drew my final straw. I now drive out of my way to do business with the Kalispell store and am beyond pleased with the professional and pleasant attitude of the staff there. What a great feeling to be greeted with a smile and thanked upon leaving! What a night and day experience! My only regret is not having patronized the Kalispell UPS all these years!

I have two businesses and I am in this store to send or receive packages almost every day. I also have a mailbox at this location. Every encounter I have had with the owner and employees has been fantastic. They are always patient and helpful. This is the only place I will use for my shipping needs.I have looked through the one star reviews and I have to comment on them. It seems to me that we are at a point in time where fearful people (who seem to be afraid of their own shadow), can attempt to nit pick and destroy business after business, when the employees and owners are doing their absolute best to treat every customer right.This location has all of the signs, stickers, shields, etc. that I see at every other business I go into that try to cater to the fearful masses. It wouldn’t surprise me if many of the one star reviews are by people from out of state that are new to the area and need to learn how to treat others. This isn’t New York, it’s not LA, be polite, because these guys sure are.If you are one of the people who likes to destroy other people’s livelihoods in a feeble attempt to give yourself some sort of pseudo safety, why don’t you just help everyone by having the UPS guy pick up your package from your house. You can even stay inside so you don’t have to have any human interaction. It’ll save you a trip while the grown ups can conduct business and have a pleasant time doing so.

10/31/20: Good service, but lousy on social distancing, reduced capacity and protection of customer health. I read the owner response to prior comments, but it does not address the gross non compliance with a) social distancing and b) reduced capacity in the store in order to maintain social distance. Ive been a customer here since 1998.11/2/2020: Customer Response to owner response: The Phase 2 reopening directive provides:Phase Two: Individuals and Employers• Effective June 1, the below guidelines apply to both individuals and businesses in Phase Two. Individuals and businesses should also follow the Phase Two guidelines provided in the attached Appendix A, also in effect June 1.• All businesses may operate, provided they adhere to physical distancing and the conditions in this Directive, the Phase Two Guidelines, and all other Directives and guidance remaining in effect. Businesses should follow CDC sanitation protocols.Appendix A:• Waiting areas where adequate physical distancing cannot be maintained must be closed.• Customers should be encouraged to call for a reservation or an appointment, or establishments should use an online wait listing application.• Physical distancing of 6 feet must be maintained between non-congregate customers, this may require:• A reduction in capacity;• A reduction of seating in service and waiting areas;• Management of waiting areas and waiting lines; or• Systems that reduce the amount of contact time between customers and staff.Appendix A - Reopening DirectiveLets be honest here: your store is going through motions of putting up signs and not complying with the rest of the directive. If I could give zero stars I would. The most snobby rude customer service Ive ever experienced. My wife and I had gone in to print some documents from her flash drive and were being helped by one worker, when another came to us (while we were starting to select which documents to print) and tells my wife that we needed to go somewhere else and proceeded to unplug her flash drive and hand it back to her. We will never go here again and I dont suggest anyone else going there unless you wanted to be treated like inhuman garbage. Keep in mind this was in the afternoon and they didnt close for several more hours. Why he acted this way is unknown. 10/10 would NOT RECOMMEND.

Went in yesterday! Place was chaotic, lots of staff and people shuffling packages around but only one elderly gentleman ‘helping’ customers. I had a set of keys to mail to my daughter I college including her meal card - I was only given the option to spend $50 on the mailing - no other options were provided. The man who served me waived his hands at me to hurry up with the address. When I showed him it (to save time) he rudely told me he couldn’t read it. I walked out and went to postal annex. I was shocked at how rude he was and what an inconvenience he made me feel. It wasn’t like I was mailing something insignificant - my kid needed her keys! I could understand his dismissive attitude if I was mailing back something indulgent!!! Avoid this place if you can.

If you are older or immune compromised in any way, I would avoid entering this business. The sign on their door claims that some employees have health conditions that prevent them from wearing masks. Seemed reasonable, and courteous, until I entered and realized that no employees are wearing masks. It appears that ownership is dishonestly using a loophole to flaunt the state directive on masks and is encouraging employees and customers to do the same. I have used this business for a very long time but will not any longer. The employees were helpful and courteous, but if ownership is willing to lie to their customers to avoid simple health and safety measures, I cannot trust that they are not cutting corners elsewhere with my money and packages.

Entire store completely flouting social distancing. Shield is above register, not over scale where people stand and talk around the shield. No one is wearing a mask. Manager walking around chatting one foot from customers while one person deals with the line. I have nowhere safe to return packages so Ill just eat the cost of these things I ordered because Id rather do that than get covid from this place.

Purchased something from Amazon and the UPS here when it notified me that my package was out for delivery (mind you its two days late and still hasnt gotten here) then it said that my address was wrong so I went to check Amazon if they got my address right, sure enough, Amazon had everything right, but UPS proceeds to email me that my address was wrong yet, I never touched anything regarding UPS. Not till I had to correct the address and now Im currently waiting for them to tell me when my package is coming and also its barely an hour away from me. Ridiculous.

DONT GO TO THIS PLACE STAFF IS RUDEthe lady at the counter yelled at me and wanted. to mark the title again with the persons signature if he would of listened to her than my title would of gotten voided and I could not transfer my title all I wanted was to get it notarized not to have it resigned again on both lines if I would of listened to the lady that does the notarization I would of never been able to transfer the title in to my namethis store is clearly ran by a corpiration thats why the notirization lady is so rude

Before you go into store a very nice letter is on the door to have patience with staff because some have medical problems that make it impossible to wear masks. I didnt think much about it until I went in building and saw 5 young staff members with no masks. One employee may have been 40 but most looked like they were I n their 20s. no plastic screens were even up. No way do they all have medical problems. It made me feel like no concern for customers or staff!!

I was in the store on Saturday and the two fairly young employess were not wearing masks and there are no Plexiglass partitions. Im over 70. Those employees didnt look like they both had health conditions like the owner claims. With little disregard for my health and safety they wont claim me as a customer any more.

Employees here are completely disrespectful of our community health. They are not complying with the statewide mask mandate and they have a sign up stating that their employees all have health issues. A female employee was very hostile and seemed like she was looking for a confrontation. I ship frequently and this location has completely lost my confidence and my business. Do better, you should be ashamed.

I have been a customer of the UPS store in Kalispell, MT for 8 years now. In that time I have had an opportunity to use all of their services and really appreciate their hard work. I find them to be very friendly and courteous.They can help you with your overnight packages and you can be confident that your package will get to its proper destination on time.They wrap your heirlooms and precious packages carefully and always cheerfully.They can design your flyers and business cards in a manner that represents you professionally.They have several big copy machines that can handle your copy needs.If you need to send mail and forgot to bring a big enough envelope they can sell you one too.I can think of no other place in town that I would comfortably recommend for your shipping needs.I have found Chris and his girls to be professional, courteous and knowledgeable.

Horrible owner and staff. I have never filed a negative complaint but this is a must. Was told an important package was to arrive in 3 days but after it didnt because the staff told us the incorrect date, they did not help or back us as a very devoted consumer (for 20 years). Instead insisted it was our fault and hung phone up on our ear. Very disappointing and unprofessional. Owner yells and screams. Very immaturely handled.

I have had nothing but issues with UPS... All my packages I have ordered and are supposed to be shipping to me never show up on time like they say they will and I order all my packages to be delivered the next day after shipping and with UPS I always get then five days later.
