Stood around for literally 1 hour and not a single staff person asked me if I needed help with/ finding anything.When somebody finally did acknowledge me - and this is when I left the store and came back later to see if I would get a different result - they were very rude, and rolled their eyes whenever I would ask a serious question.I also think it is sort of annoying that they advertise something, but they do not have it. If they do happen to have something, we were told it would be 12-13 weeks before they could get it.We ordered two things in June - nothing big - a few hammocks and some other items - still have not heard anything.They dont do deliveries or installation - their displays are filthy,

I went to home Depot to return some parts and I left I got a flat tire I was so mad I just put brand new tires on my car it would be nice if the home hired a a sweaper for there parking lot

Its always been hit or miss every time I come in here. One time we needed a new fridge because ours went out, and the best they could offer was a mini fridge... WHAT GOOD IS A MINI FRIDGE TO REPLACE A FULL SIZED FRIDGE!?!?! We ended up going elsewhere for a fridge, which we are happy with. Another project we needed help with was replacing a hot water heater, and nobody in the store had knowledge about such a matter. Ended up going elsewhere for that too.

Its a Home Depot. I like this store because I am not constantly approached by someone asking me about whatever project it is I am trying to over complicate. I find that when I finally do need help (usually finding something) the staff is more than happy to help... Except one guy, in the back near the lumber... Other than him its all you could want from a Home Depot.

I had went the other day and didn’t know what I was looking for and the helpers are amazing. I was looking for specific tools and hardware and a nice gentleman named Juan I believe, helped me do so!

Ive been frequently visiting home depot for many years with much success until this time. I went there looking for a battery powered pole saw. I found 1 pole saw there made by some off brand I never herd of. As much as Id rather do my business at home depot rather than Lowes I had to visit Lowes where I found a variety of pole saws. I purchased a craftsman. So it looks like Ill be spending more time at Lowes now, sorry home depot...

Typically I have no problems with Home Depot, but this past weekend I was very disappointed with their service. I called to check and see if a window I needed was in stock, however the window guy told me it was in the store on a crate somewhere and not out on the shelf. He didnt know where it could be and it would take some time to locate. He asked when I needed it and I said today, but I could come tomorrow(Monday), could as in I dont really want to come back but if you cant find it today I would come back. He took my name and number, and didnt communicate well that he wouldnt be looking for it today(Sunday), so I showed up 20 minutes later to inquire. He said I just spoke to you 10 minutes ago and you said youd come tomorrow(Monday). I said well it sounded like you may get to it today, is that not the case and he said no. I told him I needed the window and I would be back for it tomorrow for sure. He apologized and I left. Its now Tuesday and no call! I understand the shortage in employees, but if your store has an item for sale that a customer needs(deadlines, had to reschedule our contractor twice over this) then they need to get their products out on the shelves or at least know where they are! I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service and disregard to what I needed. Needless to say I found the window the next day(Monday) at WBC and went there.

I was really appreciative of all the help this time. Things have really improved. I live an hour and a half away. As early as a year ago when I called in for some white pine, the associate I talked to told me he didnt have time and to come find it myself. 🙃 spoke to the floor manager and havent really gone back since. This is 180 degrees turn around. Love the difference👍👍👍

Currently not impressed.We have an order from sep 10 that still isnt in. Weve had several arrival dates changed and had to order it again because it was lost? Pre paid also.

I bought a brand new hot water heater, took it home, hooked it up... And to my surprise... THE RELIEF VALVE is leaking all over... Called the Kalispell Home Depot to try to remedy the problem... Was on HOLD almost 30- minutes! Hung up, called a second time... Phone rang for 5- minutes straight... Called a third time, after a 3- minute wait... The gal I talked to told me, you will have to pull the heater back out and return it to them...???? I am over 60- miles away... Plus now I have to unkook, drain, load, and haul it all that way...why not just give me a replacement pop off valve??? I am done with Home Depot!

Horrible customer service in the plumbing department. We ordered a bathroom vanity and the faucets leak. Took pictures in to show the problem. Toms to buy new faucets. They are new!

I’d leave the kitchen designers 5 stars as they’re both amazing, much better than Lowe’s and other places we visited in the Valley. It’s a decent Home Depot otherwise, low inventory on a lot of stuff due to Covid hang ups. No tool rental really sucks

Ive shopped at this place for years. Like the variety and quality of the products. I really like that you can order online and get it shipped free to my home a lot of times, or the store if it doesnt ship free.

Pretty well stocked. We found the lumber and siding we were looking for. Even samples of the roofing material were considering. But no tiny propane cans for hand-held torches. Whats up with that??

Busy as always, but for a do it yourself person like me, you cant beat the selection and prices at home depot.

Store their return policy requires a cedit/gift card only, even though I had the receipt from my purchase that was made 2 days earlier. Its been over a year and finally days ago, I was able to dig the gift card out of my purse and use the 6 dollars. How many people loose a gift/credit card or forget they have it? My local The Hardware Store and along with the ACE has a super respectful return policy.

Without a doubt, one of the most well organized, clean and fully stocked stores Ive been to.The associates were polite friendly and knowledgeable. The Management was working with a smile all had pleasant attitudes.Thanks for an amazing shopping day.

Customer support there is great. Anytime Im there Ive always had somebody ask me if Im finding what I need and if I need their help they have always take me right to what I was looking for. Thank You home Depot staff you guys are awesome

Found everything we were looking for and the one small item we had to ask about - an associate was available and knew exactly what we were referring to and lead us right to it not just give obscure directions to let us try to find it. Other associates as we looked around asked if we needed help then left us alone when we thanked them, but said we were just looking right now. Great store that must have great management to lead a helpful team.

As usual, it was a great experience. In and out rather fast for a holiday.

Weve shopped here for years, always been happy with our experience. Have purchased two major appliances from this store over the phone (we live in a neighboring county) and have always been thrilled with the level of customer service!

Coming from someone who usually shops at Lowes, actually Kalispell home Depot was polite and routinely asked me if they could help me, I really appreciated that, staff has been super friendly especially Doug the ol timer, I loved him. Lowes had nobody that helped me after 30 min of searching and frequently this week I found many of the employees walking around together talking and laughing, but not helping. This just added insult to injury to the high prices of building supplies. Home depot here I come.

Ii did run into a gal that was nice and willing to help. If it werent illegal, I would have enjoyed slapping a couple of the other useless fellas, that seemed to have some kind of complex against customers.

Found just what I needed for my home projects

My husband and I went to the Kalispell store on Wednesday September 2 to buy several gallons of paint. The young man behind the counter, who was all alone and very busy was outstanding!Even though he was inundated with orders, ( he said there we 8 ahead of us) he was happy and in “ I can do anything mode”.No deep sighs, no eye rolls, or whining, just a getter done attitude. It was so refreshing and frankly I hope he gets some recognition. Well done!

As i watch my purchase fly out the back of my truck bit by bit because theyre too lazy to fix damaged packaging and told me to deal with it... i realize this is the worst customer service ive ever got from a homedepot and i for one will stick to lowes or drive to missoula or ponderay from now on.

I was in your store with my puppy this week. She was in the cart and one of your female employees offered a piece of cardboard so her feet didn’t slip in the metal squares. She was so thoughtful and nice to think of doing that. Now I take the cardboard whenever Polly is going to ride in a basket

Do not order anything to be delivered from Home Depot Kalispell!Last year I ordered a lot of materials to build a new deck for our home. The first delivery came on time, but I was shorted several boards. Several others were in very bad shape and had to return them. After 3 tries I finally received what I needed, but this was over a span of almost 4 weeks.This year I ordered lattice and other boards to add to the deck. I ordered WOOD redwood lattice and they sent me the plastic BROWN lattice which is not what I asked for. I tried calling several times, but always got hung up on. I had to go to the store at the pro desk to ask when Ill be receiving the proper lattice. Twice. They promised to deliver them, but I never received a phone call and finally, after getting in touch with the manager, it turns out they had been out of stock. The first time they promised to deliver the proper lattice, it never arrived and no phone call. The second time they were supposed to deliver on a Wednesday, again, no delivery and no call. Finally, the manager called Friday, said they still dont have it in stock and wont be able to deliver it. I cancelled the order.It is appalling that with a simple request of materials they repeatedly refuse to DO THEIR JOB. When I spoke to the reps at the pro desk, he was frustrated because this is apparently a constant problem.Managers at Home Depot. You obviously dont seem to care about doing your jobs. Its not rocket science. If this was a one off, I can see once in awhile having issues, but this is a constant problem with Home Depot. Their wood is also consistently warped, cracked or just in poor quality. I do NOT endorse using Home Depot for your lumbar needs.

Dont know if this home depot was on the air West Coast or East Coast but The Home Depots I go to now dont even charge sales tax it makes shopping so much nicer but I have found that as I travel across country people are so much friendlier than they are back in the Bay area California I love chatting with people in this thing their points of view and California could hardly get people look at you at the parts of the country that stop it now takes much time is is a need to discuss anything you want for the most part

Working with a skeleton crew but focused on good customer service

Its Home Depot. If they dont stock it, they can order it in for you. Curbside pickup is available if thats your jam. Staff is nice and generally helpful. If someone doesnt know theyll find someone who does. Now, thats not to say theyre not a bit slow sometimes, but the employees try hard to get things done.

Very easy to use self check out. The employees are very helpful and in reached me quickly to resolve any issues.

When I showed up 5 minutes before closing time, they were super helpful even though it took us 15 minutes to find everything that we needed.

After 20 years they are still my go to place when looking for electrical, plumbing, building and lawn and garden supplies. I always get friendly, helpful service and great prices.

There is NO USTOMER SERVICE at Home Depot....when you TRY to find an employee they have all disappeared! If you even LOOK like you may need help or ask a question they turn away and go elsewhere so they do not have to answer or help! This is particularly frustrating when, I, a female, do need some help finding items that are heavy or something my husband asks me to pick up (and I dont have a clue where to look or way too heavy for me to drag into a cart) Lowes is much more friendly and helpful-will go there in the future and forget Home Depot!!

I was looking for simple PH test strips and it took 4 employees to find out they didnt have the product... they always relay in their phone app to see where the product is... this is lame because it seems to fail them more than it does help them and the customer, get to know your workplace better, but beyond that, they have pretty much anything you need for home care.

I like Home Depot way more than the other home repair store especially on fathers day (the deals are killer)!

The staff eventually (reluctantly) price matched Wal-Mart on an item. The effort required to achieve achieve the price match was surprising, especially since Wal-Mart is both an established brick and mortar location and a location is in such close proximity.Finding employee help to locate items is challenging.Chances of employees being able to locate items is lower than expected.Best pricing in market on useful tools during specific promotions is actually pretty common - so significant savings is possible on select sale items.

Check the return policy. It’s terrible. Appliances are 3 days. Not even enough time to unpack them. Apparently the big sign saying no returns right now and return policy extended to 180 days due to covid doesn’t apply to gas chain saws. I bought mine about 50 days ago and today was told no returns on gas stuff over 30 days. It’s new in package and never opened... it’s tough to keep supporting a company when others have so much better return policies.

Good store, some mistakes on a whole door order, but they made good.

I had gone to a competitor but did not get much help from that store seemed to be short staffed. Went to Home Depot across the way and was in and out in 15 minutes. Thank you for your quick service. I had needed wood cut I may not have bought much this time but I still feel I am just as important as someone whom is buying a big order I will be going to Home Depot from now on.

I was very disappointed in the lack of customer service and then they had no carts to use. Not because they had an influx of customers but because they had stuff on them. The first time I went in there and saw this I was like hmmm ok. I went 3 more times and still the same problem Id rather go to lowes.

Shane at the Kalispell Home Depot went ABOVE & BEYOND & EXCEEDED ALL EXPECTATIONS. I was SO impressed with his customer service, willingness to help, and his knowledge. I was in the store with my partner looking for lumber and balusters to build interior stair railing on my home. We didn’t know what we needed or where to even start, but Shane showed us our lumber options and helped us find an affordable route that fits our budget and lifestyle. He even stayed late for us to cut our lumber since we came all the way from Polson. Our stair railing looks incredible and it’s all thanks to Shane & his hard work of finding us exactly what we needed. I will always take my business to the Kalispell Home Depot from now on instead of Lowe’s or going to Missoula because of this wonderful experience. Shane deserves a major raise/promotion! He was AWESOME. Best customer service I have received in a long time.Thank you so much!

It seems to be a love hate situation depending on the day. This time was very frustrating, the isle where blocked with will calls and stocking products to the point you could not get the product you needed or get by the next customer. We waited in line to check out with a stove, cart of product and a forklift trying to get a bunk of sheetrock out. Oh and I forgot the door that has been broke more than often than working near the pro desk since the store opened that they only put a sign you can only read till you try to go through it. However they have what I need and I know where to find the employees that know the business and can help.

Good store. Needs more buying options

The staff here at the Kalispell Home Depot never miss a chance to ask if you need help. I am always amazed at their ability to tell you exactly where the most obscure items are located. The other day I was looking for an uncommon temperature control. I looked around all the aisles I could think of without luck. I finally ask one of the staff and he told me the aisles, the bay, where in the bay and what the package looked like. He was exactly right. The box had dust on it so I knew it had been sitting undisturbed for awhile. Sometimes it scary how the staff at the Kalispell Home Depot can retain so much information.

The young girl in the blinds dept. was totally a problem.. She let me stand there 20 minutes without a greet, No hello, nod, Nothing... If your assisting another customer, you still greet and let them know you acknowledge them.... Then, she walked away, without getting a manager to assist me, as she stated she would get a manager. She Did Not want to help me order blinds, which cost me over 1000.00$. Thank goodness another older woman assisted me. She was very helpful..

Not happy with Customer Service. I could mention her Name but I wont. I ordered a pack of curtains before the virus hit. Cant get across the border still. Long story but she was very abrupt on the phone, I told her I would try to get there soon (I called them right when this all happened, they said it was fine until I got there), she said I had until the end of the week, that is it!. I guess a pack of curtains takes up a lot of space in their department. Good to know this store has no consideration through all this COVID19 situation.....so they returned them! I will DEFINITELY buy them elsewhere! NOT HERE.

Have zero freezers and only floor models as far as refrigerators but honestly not their fault...cant carry what you cant get from the factories. Don in appliances helped us and was very helpful. We actually got the last refrigerator they had in the store that wasnt a floor display model.

Customer service was friendly but only one asked if we wanted assistance. Two employees in the Garden Center were only interested in their personal conversation and looking at pictures on one of their cell phones. We we discussing block edging about 4 feet from them and not once did the stop talking to each other.

Definitely one of the more well-run Home Depots I have been into. They have a pretty good track record of keeping stock on the shelves, and the cashiers are always great here; I actually look forward to the checkout process! Theres an older gal there that remembers me and she always wants an update on my latest project. Service like that makes a big box store feel small-town, which is what brings me back. The one weakness I have noticed is when I require assistance on the floor. Its a lot harder to get the help I require than I feel it should be. If the floor staff picked up their game a little it would easily make 5 stars!

Nice selection of lumber most of the time, quite often it will be somewhat bent though, so pick carefully, great selection of miscellaneous repair parts for home and garden!

The fact that people are actually paid to work here is laughable. Three grown men who were clad in Home Depot aprons watched me as I struggled with plywood on my own. This is after I asked for specific help with the same plywood. After I got the plywood loaded on my own, they then decided to come ask if I needed help.... Home Depot, train your employees to walk around and ask if your guests need help. I will choose Lowe’s next time.

Generally shop here, really upsets us when they block off aisles and dont say a word. Just look at you and say nothing.
