From estimates to explanations, the Ace team have been absolutely the best. We were using a different heating and cooling company with no resolution of our issues (but lots of frustrations). Kyler and his team were honest, explained issues so we understood and very thorough. I am so pleased to have all our heating and cooling issues resolved. Hi I am leaving a review on services on property and A/C unit. First they charge $90.00 some dollars just to come out which I think is a little out of line but maybe not. Then the tech who was very courteous and knowledgeable said he could not find the leak but put in a pound of Freon and hoped it worked. In the end and 90s to 101 degrees all this week it’s not looking good. We ended up paying them almost $500.00 for not fixing the issue. Naturally we have them coming out for an estimate on replacing the unit on 26th of July. So anyway I would give the tech a rating of 4 but the overall experience and monies spent for literally nothing a 2. Wish I could do better but really feel taken.

I had a chance to work at ace heating and air for a short amount of time. Everyone there was great to work with. All the workers are very experienced and great at what they do. I highly recommend them if you need any sort of hvac work done. The only thing that is questionable is there apprenticeship program. There is a “30 day” period to learn EVERYTHING. If you have no knowledge of hvac, this so called apprenticeship is not a learning program its more for an experienced person with background knowledge of hvac.

My heater was smelling like an electrical fire and we called ace after hours and they came over within 20 minutes and Kyler informed me that my heater did in fact catch fire and he repaired it within an hour. He did an awesome job. Highly recommend!

I am very happy with all aspects of dealing with Ace heating and cooling. They recently installed an air conditioner in our master bedroom. Jason was very helpful when he came to look at our room and give us a proposal. Nathan and his helper did a great job installing it. I got 4 companies to come out and give us proposals. I choose the other 3 companies because theyve been around a long time and have done work for us before, and asked Ace to come out because they got so many good reviews and I was curious about them. The proposal from Ace was the lowest price, used the best brand of equipment, and they could schedule us in the soonest. It was an easy choice and Im very happy I went with them. The most impressive thing in my mind is that the place I wanted to put it didnt really work according to the manufacturers recommendations. They figured out a creative way to make it work, while meeting the manufacturers recommendations, and did it even though it was quite a bit more work for them - and they didnt charge me any more for the extra work. AND I just got an email saying they even registered it for me for the warranty - an unexpected nice surprise. I would definitely use them again.

Our furnace went out in 10 degree weather and we were forced to spend a night shivering under piles of blankets. This is the 2nd time Kyler and Ace Heating & Air has come through for me. The first time was a heating issue (full review also on here). This time it was a cooling issue. This past week it’s been in the mid to high 80’s, with today and the next few days looking like it’s going to be in the mid 90’s.My AC randomly stopped working. And by stopped working, I mean it stopped blowing cold air. Everything still seemed to function as normal, except it was just blowing air. It wasn’t cold or even cool, just “air”. Because it had worked one day and then all of a sudden stopped, I figured it was just a fluke. I checked the filter and breaker box, nothing. I thought it might be a thermostat issue, so I went through the Menu. I even contacted the thermostat manufacturer customer service to walk me through resetting the thermostat and still nothing. I called AH&A a week ago when my AC first went out and was told they were booked solid for a couple of weeks. I thought I could make due until then, but quickly realized my dogs were not happy with how warm it was in the house. Knowing that we were on the brink of a heat wave, I called AH&A again and even though they were still booked solid, Kyler (again) said he’d fit me in and get me taken care of. He called a couple of hours later while I was still at work to let me know he was in his way. When I got home about 15min. later, he was already in front of my house. I explained to him what happened and what I did to try to remedy. He took the time to listen and then during his diagnostic, he explained to me step by step what he was doing and why. Upon entering my home, he and his associate (don’t remember his name) both put on protective booties to not track dirt in. Little things like that really make me appreciate their respectfulness. He was at my house for about an hour before determining what the root issue was and getting my house nice and cool again. Kyler also took the time to explain my repair and future maintenance options in a manner that was both informative and easy to understand. I am very happy with AH&A’s responsiveness, professionalism, workmanship and value. I highly recommend them for any/all of your heating and cooling needs. 5-Stars!!

ACE is the best heating and air company in the valley based on my experience. Their prices are fair. They identified the issues and fixed them without creating additional charges or needless mark ups A’s we had with another large company in the valley. When other companies were scheduling 2 to 3 weeks out, they came in two days. They found a mid-wiring with my system that had been there likely since it was Installed in 2007. They have prompt, kind, and considerate customer service and their prices are extremely fair! I had such a great experience, we signed up for their annual service. Thank you Ace!

I’d like to leave a very good positive review for Ace heating & Air. Christy was the technician that came to my house. She was great!!! Very knowledgeable on her profession and very professional. She answered questions, and provided good advice for future prevention on my cooling system. The scheduling was perfect!! I talk to the phone answering service and they were very helpful to get a technician to my house on the same day!! Christy has the problem figured out in under 15 minutes. Awesome work!! Went looking on-line for an HVAC company to service our AC/Heating Unit at our home in Bigfork. Decided on ACE because of outstanding reviews by other ACE customers and the reviews did not disappoint! ACE was friendly, professional, engaging and customer service focused. Jake was an excellent representative of ACE throughout the maintenance/service call. Very knowledgeable and polite. They came and told us we needed to replace a gasket at the heat exchange. The tech verified that he had the gasket at the shop. Then a few minutes later he came back and said that he would now suggest that we replace the furnace over a $20 dollar seal! He said he would not replace the gasket because of liability concerns. We then asked if we could purchase the gasket from him. By gasket I am referring to what equates to a strip of insulation that adheres to the front panel by the heat exchange. He said they do not sale their parts retail. After he left I called and asked if he could tell me the material that I needed to look for. They said they would call me back with the information and never did. They charged my card $100 dollars and wouldnt even give me the information I needed to do the repair myself. We live in a very cold part of Montana and have 3 kids. Now we have to pay another company a diagnostics fee to come and tell us the same information so we can get the gasket replaced. Thanks for not very much. I gave them 2 stars because the visit did result in us knowing what was wrong. In the end it costed $65 plus another diagnostics fee to get the issue fixed. Still much less then the estimate of $2500 for a replacement. For new installations this place may be great but for repairs you may want to seek a second opinion before trusting a suggestion to replace.

Wonderful experience

Our A/C shut off on a weekend with 90+ degree weather. Im so glad Ace was there and had a tech come out and take a look at it. He did what he could to fix our issue to at least get us through the heat until we can get a new heat pump.

It is a pleasure to work with true professional HVAC contractors. They give fair bids and follow through with their promises. I have used them on two residential retrofits, and one commercial new construction project. The final product each time has turned out better than expected, and the equipment performs as promised. These guys stand behind all of their work 100%.I would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality HVAC contractor for new construction or a retrofit. Keep up the good work!

It has been several years since Kyler has been at our home. Kyler set up the heat exchanger for our radiant heating system with a wood fired boiler. He intergrated the new system with the existing gas fired boiler.I have considerable respect and trust for his technical skills and found him to be considerate, honest and highly ethical. Kyler and ACE are my go to people for my heating system.Kyler recently returned to our residence to service the gas boiler and fix a circulation pump. He performed repaired the pump rather than replace it as a cost savings measure to me. I believe others would have ran up the bill to maximize profit. Instead he was looking out for my best interests. Thats not the normal in the Flathead. Great job, you have me as a client forever.Larry Dugan
