Even though local Sherwin Williams retail stores are currently experiencing a materials shortage the employees are exceedingly helpful and knowledgeable about the products they have available!

Went into the store the clerks did not even make eye contact with me and we’re exceptionally rude. They took two phone calls assisted other people and when someone walked in the door after us they mediately gave them service. With this kind of service I take my business elsewhere.

This is where you want to buy your paint. You can wait until there is a promotion to get 30% or so off paint. Thats what we do. This quality paint is so good, you will paint it only once. The only reason I did not give it a five is because 9 times out of 10 we have to stand around until a sales associate gets to us.

I have been using this specific store for a year because it is close to my house and JC doesn’t have a Benjamin Moore and I have yet to have had one good experience. Most of the workers are very rude especially the older worker who I actually think is the manager. I have even had him cuss in front of me which is just poor business practice. But honestly, I could get over that if they were knowledgeable, but they aren’t. Every time I am there, I feel like they need a lot of coaching. And lastly, twice they have actually forgotten to MIX the paint and I get home and have to turn around and tell them they didn’t actually add any color!

This group of men will exceed your expectations. They remember your name every time you visit. Exceptional customer service every single time. Thank you team Johnson City for the friendliness, professionalism, enthusiasm and willingness to help no matter what the request. It’s a pleasure to do business with these outstanding gentlemen.

Amazing team of professionals. The store was clean and well stocked. I received prompt service and when I shared details about my project, I was recommended several products to make the job go better. The service man carried my products out to my vehicle and helped me load them. Also parking was extremely convenient. Ill definitely be coming back for more.

The service and quality of paint is great but sometimes the employees dont know everything that a painting contract may need to know Ive been to other Sherwin-Williams where they have been more helpful and had more knowledge of their products

Awful service, wasn’t greeted nor did anyone ask to help. Manager was sitting in his office on his phone looked at me and didn’t say a word. Wouldn’t spend a dime there ever, worst customer service I’ve ever seen. Don’t recommend whatsoever!

Went in with coupon and , my bad, did not read the FINE print. We showed the clerk that helped us the coupon and after the 8 gallons of paint we had tinted were completed, along with 2 more gallons, we left the store. After getting home I noticed we did not get the 30% off the 8 gallons. I called the store and a clerk who was knowledgeable explained why we did not get the discount. I believe the first clerk should have advised us the paint we were purchasing did not get the 30% off. BAD EXPERIENCE!!!

Johnson City Tennessee Sherwin Williams is the best of its type. Everyone that works there are knowledgeable and friendly will really go out of there way to help and make your project go good.

Employees were knowledgeable but more interested in making a quick sale and rushing me out the door instead of answering my questions and making a larger sale... My questions about painting a popcorn ceiling were answered and product provided, but I still have questions and need product for wall paint and trim...so Ill be going somewhere else to do the rest of this project and all future products...I have an entire 1800 square foot house to paint...inside and out...so they really lost a major sale!

I NEVER give bad reviews, ever... but I am making a special exception for this place.First of all, the workers here know nothing about paint.I tried to buy a quart of red paint for my kitchen island, and was told that they did not have the red base in interior, but that the exterior paint would work just fine for inside. WRONG. It has had over a month to dry, and it is still sticky and peeling. I went to Sherwin Williams in Asheville & was given a free replacement, & was told that you should NEVER use exterior paint inside. Also, the exterior red paint now has to be sanded off the island, so it can be painted once again.The guys working at Sherwin Williams in Johnson City were extremely rude. I bought paint from them on 3 separate occasions, and each time the customer service got worse. The last time, the guy copped an attitude because it was 45 minutes until closing and he had already counted his register down. I could barely understand a word that he said because he had a mouth full of dipping tobacco. Just plain rude.It is worth driving the extra 45 minutes for me to go to Sherwin Williams on Merrimon Ave in Asheville, because they actually know what they are talking about, and have fantastic customer service.
