Ask for Charlie! We had a great experience. This is our first Nissan, but besides a great vehicle, and great customer service, we came away with an incredible warranty also. The process of purchasing our new vehicle was much quicker and less stressful than prior experiences at other dealerships. I had an appointment for 1120 and I expected to there a couple of hours. The only complaint I have is that they didnt put all of my valve stem covers back on. It sucks because theyre customized and now I have to replace them because one is missing.

All I can say is WOW. I purchased a car here with my boyfriend.  The buying process was terrible. They wanted us to pay $550 monthly UNTIL we walked away. Then 10 minutes later they called us saying that they can drop it to $425. It kind of made me feel like they were trying to take advantage of us. After signing the contract, they made us come back and sign an entire new contract again because they messed up the first contract that they had us sign.  Even though they said the car was inspected we soon found out that the car has many issues. The side mirror is defective, the car lock system does not work correctly and the passenger door scrapes...none of which was listed on the car report. We have been waiting for all of these corrections to be made for almost of month now. We keep getting the run around. They sent us decals for the car but NO license plate to put them on after they told us they would call us in two weeks to come and pick up the license plate. The lady who answers the phone is very rude. She told me that they had already sent out the decals. I informed her that they sent the wrong thing and that the license plate is what we needed. Just not a good experience with this place and I am hoping this changes very soon. The only help I have received was from Steven Matthews who responded immediately to my message I had left him and went into detail about what happened to my plates.

My initial experience with Coggin Nissan at the Avenues was done on line via my daughter. I had almost given up trying to purchase a vehicle. All of the other car dealerships I had interactions with up to this point had been untruthful. The price online or via the phone calls always change once I arrived at the dealership.The evening prior to my daughter connecting with Coggin Nissan at the Avenues I had an appointment with Coggin Nissan on Atlantic. During an online chat with Laura at that location I verified the price of the SUV. Then after a follow up call by her I booked an appointment for a test drive, but only after verifying the price again. After the test drive I was shocked and very disappointed when the salesman told me the price was $3,000 more than I was told, and that was before tax, tag and title. I was also told there was no way they could negotiate the price. It was the first big thing I had attempted to do on my own in over 35 years, and I failed. That was hard. So I was done with car dealerships. I would have never imagined that I would be searching for and trying to negotiate the price of a vehicle alone. Just 3 months prior my husband and I had a check from our creditor union and were actively searching for a SUV when he became ill from COVID, dying after 32 days in the hospital. So the experience I had with Justin and Chris at the Avenues has meant a lot to me. They were great, and honest. They forwarded the invoice, we negotiated the price to get closer to the cash I had and then they forward the update invoice. Then they found me an SUV that had most of the things I wanted, and very, very important to me they didn’t LIE! The price on the invoice was the price I paid. This entire process has been very emotional for me and they made it easier. The day after the sale they even emailed me a receipt I requested showing the check amount I paid. I wasn’t comfortable with just the normal invoice and probably will not be until and have the title in my possession, but I at least wanted a receipt more in line with what I’m familiar with. Justin also helped me by giving me a crash course in operating the vehicle which was great since I haven’t had a new vehicle in years. He also gave me his cell phone number and actually answered when I called even though it was outside his work hours. I’m very appreciative of my experience with Coggin Nissan at the Avenues, and I hope it will only get better.

DO NOT BUY OR SERVICE YOUR CAR HERE! If you are a female and alone do not go to this dealership! I am an alone female who’s husband is in the military and is currently deployed. I had a service appointment for my car that is less than a year old. Didn’t think this would be a issue! It took over 2 hours to look at my car and after the service they decided they would not honor my 3 year or 30,000 mile warranty. The issue was a bumper that was always misaligned and the dealership said it wasn’t a problem and they could fix it. It sounded very simple! Now they tell me they can’t fix it and its not covered under the warranty. I asked why and they blamed me saying I caused the problem with my car (misaligned bumper)! However it was already a problem when I bought the car! I asked to speak to the warranty manger and that was a BIG mistake! The man belittled me, spoke down to me, and wouldn’t even explain to me the issue with my car! I asked multiple times what the issue was and how much it would cost to fix the problem. So I could try to contact my deployed husband and explain it! NOTHING! He couldn’t give me an price or explain the problem. He just kept blaming me and said I was the problem! Now remember this is a new car and has never been in an accident! Lesson of the story is do not go here! They don’t uphold the warranty and they treat woman who are alone like they are stupid! So ladies don’t go there unless you bring your husband!

Because of some unforeseen circumstances I was not able to get a car yet but when I do I hope its with these guys!! They are very professional, and very willing to help. Couldn’t be happier with my choice to go through Coggin Nissan at The Avenues! After 2 months of searching for a vehicle, I finally found what I was looking for. This was my first online car purchase and the experience could not have went smoother. I did initiate contact with one of their local sister dealerships as I thought that would be easier but I wasn’t getting the customer service I was expecting so went directly to source and so glad I did! It started with a phone call to the dealership on Thursday to confirm availability of the car and then I began the online process. Naturally, I had questions when I started the process so a few calls were made to them and they helped me along the way. Shortly after, I had the pleasure of working with Rodney Hayes and he continued to keep me updated on my purchase. Everything got finalized the same day and Rodney gave me the great news that my car will be delivered to me the next day. Brett was my “delivery driver” and made the journey from Jax to Tampa and kept me updated on ETA along the way. The communication and customer service I experienced from the team was exceptional! Came into to get my first oil I was treated very poorly from the service department I was in there around 8 am and they told they would not be able to do my oil change till around 3 pm unless I had an appointment they were very rude people they were only around 6 cars there at the time so the first oil free coupon they give me is no good had to take my new truck to orange park Nissan to get oil changed the sales department is good but the service department at Nissan at the avenues sucks don’t go there

Best Nissan Dealership in Jacksonville! Great Service and Great Sales experience! My husband and I got our 2 Nissan Murano’s serviced here for years! Excellent service department! We loved our Nissan’s so much that when it was time to buy a new Nissan, we knew we wanted to shop here too. Casey, my service advisor introduced me to Jon Oiriako in sales. Jon definitely know his cars and was extremely patient with both mine and my husbands questions. He is not a high pressure salesman. He worked with us while we fell in live with the new 2021 Nissan Rogue. He even brought two different models out side by side so we could compare features. We loved the SL with the premium package and negotiated a great price. His delivery of the vehicle was perfect and made sure we understood all the new features. He helped us get just the right accessories and went over and above with our satisfaction. He even called a week later to check how we are liking the car. Well we love it and recommend him highly to anyone shopping for a car, new or used. Juan Lorenzo, the Sales Manager helped finalize the discounts and deal and we are very happy with our experience. We will definitely do business with them again in the service area and sales.

I have been a customer with Coggin Nissan for several years and exclusively service my vehicle with them because I believe in customer loyalty. The representative that I purchased the car from retired and since then I have received less than quality customer service including dismissive body language/ comments and an overall lackadaisical attitude. With the exception of one missed service appointment, I routinely get my vehicle serviced by this company since purchasing it despite being able to find better deals elsewhere. Lately, it has been raining a great deal and I find myself hydroplaning frequently. I checked my tires and was horrified to see that they were smooth after having been serviced as recently as August. I called to express my concern and receive documentation of my service history but was told that priority is given to the customers who are on site. After waiting four hours without being contacted in anyway, I called back to inquire about my request and was told that everyone, including the manager (whom I had asked to speak to and had been told was aware of my request) went home and that I would now have to wait till Monday. I am very concerned and more than frustrated with the poor customer service and utter disregard for the safety of the customers of Coggin Nissan. I hope that my concerns will be addressed promptly on Monday morning, but I am not confident since this seems to be simply who Coggin Nissan is as I would hope that my mistreatment is not in any way unique.

Every time Ive come here, Ive waited at least 3 hours for an oil change. Even with an appointment. The service advisors will do their best to ignore you. They dont update the track your car! Link that they provide you with, nor do they text back when you have questions about service time. I wonder why they send out the text message at all. Save your time and find somewhere else to go. Only PRO is the comfy theater seats.One time, I went for an oil change and waited 4 hours. I finally pressed and asked what was taking so long, turns out they had accidentally changed my oil 4 times. Trust me. Its a miracle if you get out of that place within a reasonable time frame.

Once the car went thru service they discovered the convertible top was having problems. They were honest and forthcoming about the issue and we cancelled the deal. Just have to say my experience here was the best by far. I had a hard time getting a vehicle at other dealerships. All of them made it seem like I was stuck putting THOUSANDS down. Than I got a call from Brett.I told him what I wanted and what my situation was. He than had Will call me, and in 39 minutes had me approved for the truck I wanted.The process was explained, and they made the process simple. During my test drive we encountered a problem and Brett assured me.it would be handled. Im writing this in Thursday. Not only did they correct the problem quickly they made sure I had a car to make it to work.The finance department was excellent also. Not only did he get me a good price, but he made sure I had complete coverage in the pricing. Other dealerships tried to upsell u at the end. Will actually knew what I would need, and provided that.Thats understanding your customersService department was also very helpful Richard made sure I had a vehicle to leave in, and provided communication if needed . I had a terrible experience today in this dealership. First of all I printed the trade in value appraisal from your website. The appraisal amount that I received from the website was between 17,000 and 20,000. Secondly the two cars I wanted were there and I was told they were sold. Also I was contacted by staff and told to see a representative only to find out he wasnt even in this day.So I was told by the salesman that my car was excellent and there should be no problem coming close to the higher appraisal value. So I asked to know this value and was told that I would only know after I was interested in buying a vehicle. I did test drive one and if the price was right I was ready to purchase.After two hours I finally was told that they were offering 14,500 for my car...This is unacceptable behavior and I will never recommend to anyone to come to this dealership.

Had appt. Sat for over 5 hours for oil, engine filter and his latch recall. Added brake service fluid since it was recommended, even though brake job was performed by another company 2 months previous. Inspection was not done until after 3 1/2 almost 4 hrs. Finally asked to just bring car to me. Car was blasting radio which was off when I took it in. Ac blaring- I get it, is hot. But since radio was blasting how do I know it was checked for the noise on one of the recalls? Complete lack of respect

Bought a truck about a month ago, have been waiting on my tag transfer, I have recieved no communication and consistently been given the run around. My temp tag expires today I have not recieved the follow up I was promised about my tag and am slated to leave town for work for the next 2 weeks. They treated me great until purchase was complete. Walked in here as my 5th or 6th dealership when searching for a car, and instantly the staff members made it feel like they were here to help me get the best car for the best deal, rather than just here to take my money and send me off as quickly as possible. Tristan was a young guy who helped make the experience as congas possible and even brought his manager over, Rodney, and answered more in depth questions multiple times. I dont live close by so we were able to do everything through email, and then I just came in and signed the paperwork and picked up the van. They were upfront, and always responsive. We probably wouldnt go there for service, because it is a bit of a drive for me. Charles and Brenden, as well as Mike Brown in finance and Rafael were a great pleasure to work with. I am 60 years old, and this was the easiest time I had for buying a vehicle.

Having been purc hasing cars since 1968 I can with assurance say that Charlie was (and is) the most professional, low-key and helpful person I have ever dealt with at a car dealership. Apperantly they where backed up in the service dept. So I had to wait over 2 hours for an oil change. I could have went to jiffy Lube and paid for it and been in and out within 20 minutes. I got suckerd in because it was free. But I dont think its worth it driving across town to wait 2 hours.

No TV, no snacks, bad chairs - it was like a Pep Boys waiting area -without a TV!PS. At the time of service I was told that I needed brakes both front and rear plus rotors - an approximate total of $500. Yesterday, I went to a garage to see about a better offer. They put my car on the lift, pulled the wheels and showed me the brake pads and rotors. The front pads needed replacing, the rear pads were still at about 60% and all rotors were in excellent shape. So, not only was the waiting area insulting, the dealership also tried to scam me out of a good chunk of change for unnecessary parts! After accepting a phone call apologizing ineffectively for the waiting area, I later found out the dishonesty of the dealership. I will be looking to buy a new car in a year or so, and although I do like my Nissan Rogue and would like to purchase another, I probably will be purchasing another brand from a dealership that cares about customers and has integrity.

When I came to look at the vehicles Rafael greeted us and helped us right away. I let him know what I wanted and he showed me the options. He is a very helpful person and I would recommend anyone to come see him. He made my daughter and granddaughter comfortable when they came to the dealership. He offered to come pick me up when the car I wanted arrived. I was going to give up on the deal but Will made a way for me to get the car and get financing I needed. We made an appointment for an oil change and to have a new battery installed 24 hours in advance. This Nissan dealership was close to where we were running errands. Drop off time was 11:45 am and we arrived at the designated time. The service advisor asked when we wanted to pick up the vehicle; my husband answered ASAP and we set out to do our errands. Two hours later, we thought perhaps it was ready (or at least be close to finished) so we returned to the service department. When we inquired to service advisor, David, about the car, he replied that they hadn’t started it yet. Typically, we take the vehicle to Nissan in St. Augustine. My first call driving away from Coggins Nissan was to Nissan in St. Augustine and they welcomed me to come right in for a battery replacement. Upon arrival, they assured me that they could replace the battery, AND perform the oil change, AND rotate the tires. This is customer service.

Casey was the only one out of many dealerships I’ve already been to since 2018 and was able to duplicate the issue and get it rectified without giving my the run around or having to find transportation or shuttle service back and forth during the time my car was getting service, THANK YOU SO MUCH !! I feel safer now that I know my car is running great and you guys also pulled up my seatbelts from under the seat that my dog tends to push down with his paws . Purchase Experience: I had a negative experiencing after purchasing a vehicle here. It took the office several weeks to resolve an issue that I experienced with the contract. An unauthorized item was added (Resist All) when the contract was rewritten. I was not able to get this issue resolved after several phone calls and several weeks of getting the run around by the finance manager. I had to show up after three weeks of excuses and frustration and demand to speak with the General Manager. After expressing my frustration to him and explaining my overall terrible experience, the issue was resolved. I would say the General Manager went above and beyond, most importantly, he listened and was receptive to my complaint and suggestions. I was satisfied with the outcome though I still felt like I was scammed/lied to about how the item got added to the second contract in the first place. Other than that everything was great with the vehicle and I was happy with my purchase.Service Department: I took it for the first oil change and tire rotation.The process was completely disorganized. There was one person checking in customers so it took almost 25 minutes to even get checked in. After the experience I had at the time of purchase, I had reservations bringing it in for a service as trust and a good faith had not necessarily been established.I had a 10:00 AM appointment. Please be aware that an appointment for service is actually an inventory appointment. So however many vehicles show up before your 10:00 AM appointment (as they also have appointments at the same time), you can expect to wait up to 4 hours. From my experience I was there from 9:45 AM to 1:45 PM for an oil change and tire rotation with a 10:00 AM appointment.The Staff: The staff and customer service is horrendous. The employees are dry, short and do not have any desire what so ever to provide friendly service to customers. No greeting, no well be right with you while you wait in line for 20+ minutes. No sorry it took 4 hours thank you for your patience.New Issue: I called up there today because suddenly the gas gauge is not registering the mileage until empty. I filled up the tank and all of the sudden it doesnt show anything. The external gauge works however the dash mileage indicator stopped working. I called and left a message for a call back this morning. No call was received so I called again around 5:00 PM. The person I spoke to was short, cut me off when speaking, stated it sounds like you have a problem and need to speak to someone else even after I had just asked if there was another technician available that might be able to assist with my questions. This employee was condescending, had absolutely no empathy or people skills. Which after the lack of customer service received a week ago when I brought the vehicle in for service, I wasnt shocked. But overall it is just completely unacceptable for people who spend that kind of money at this dealership to have to deal with and experience.I whole heartedly would not recommend this dealership. Each experience has been worse than the very first unfortunately. The staff needs training and their processes need to be assessed and revamped to better service their customers. I will happily drive clear across town to get my vehicle serviced if it means I will be treated with respect and decency. Please consider other local Nissans if you want to make your purchase in good faith.

I have had terrible experience in the past with car dealerships and oil changes and service in general. This is the only place I can go that I don’t worry they’re ripping me off, they have a very casual approach and make you feel at ease. They keep you updated every step of the way and honestly do such a good job. I’m so glad they remember me there and are so kind every time. They never pressure me to get anything done and working with Casey has been very positive and helpful.

The car was taken in and processed promptly, however there was a delay in the actual repair. The service rep did a great job explaining what went wrong and what he did to correct the issue. The car was eventually repaired and its in great running condition.

Great buying experience. Very quick transaction. This time I purchased used. I got word on a Friday afternoon that my car was totaled after being rear ended a week prior, I went in after work about 7pm, we met with salesman Justin Rhome, I told him what I wanted, he showed me a few options. Once I agreed on one we did all the stuff to get into financing. I went home for the evening, received a call at 930am, deal was good to go, we went back about 10am and I was leaving by 11 with my new to me car. Mike Brown in finance was fun to work with too. Great conversation, loved hearing his stories! You guys rock!

0 stars if I could. Called Coggin Nissan at the Avenues regarding a valve cover gasket leak and a lower oil pan gasket leak and without confirming anything in their system was told both of these issues are NOT covered by Nissans factory powertrain warranty for my vehicle. I then called Nissan over in Orange Park who took the time to confirm my vin number against the warranty and covered items, and was informed they are in fact covered. Staff not doing their due diligence at the Avenues Nissan will in fact cost you hundreds or worse....

Despite an initial issue fixing something on the car, the dealership went above and beyond to fix it.Great price on the car, but was initially worried about the customer service. From the manager calling to resolve, the salesman checking in to update, and the awesome service department, everything turned out great. I guess the measure isnt what happens if something goes wrong, its how they resolve it afterwards.
