Weve rented here for several years and have bought things here regularly. The customer service has gone WAY downhill the last year. Weve had to tell all our private instructors & band teachers not to recommend any more. They are so rude, and give false information. Even had to call about hours, because the door said closed but it was the middle of the day. When I called & asked if they were open he lied & said the door said they open, despite me standing right outside seeing otherwise. Then he hung up on me. The manager is awful.

I cannot thank them enough. Because of this shop I was able to play Amazing Grace on flute to start my nannys memorial service. I will be back and will recommend you to everyone! ❤️

Gotta say its pretty good I tried a few of there basses (all out of tune) but they were helpful and I picked up a pretty nice strap

I needed to check on the balance of a gift card my son had purchased for me a year ago for guitar lessons. Upon arrival at the store, the staff, Dylan in particular greeted us in a very professional and courteous manner. The store manager from a year ago was no longer there, so there was a little confusion as to how to go about verifying the balance on the card. The new store manager, named “Justice” on his third day at the store quickly became involved. He was extremely courteous and professional. After being handed the customer service number by another employee for me to call, Mr. Justice took it upon himself to call customer service and resolve the matter. In no time, he was able to obtain the balance on the card. This is the true meaning of customer service. We are looking forward to taking guitar lessons at this store, and referring this location to our family and friends looking for anything in music.We are very grateful for their help and professionalism.Oscar & Nikko(son) J.

Amazing service everytime I go. The process of renting an instrument and returning are extremely simple. Was also given great advice and recommendations whenever I had a question about a certain instrument, song book or accessories. Went to buy some general items. I knew what I wanted in advance. So it didn’t matter that the pandemic kept me from browsing. Told the salesman, Paul, what I needed. In a just a few minutes he was back out with the items that I needed; he must know the store well! There was one minor item that the store didn’t have; which is understandable with deliveries being limited.

I came in looking for a good place to buy sheet music, and I found it and much more, you can buy sheet music, rent instruments, buy all accessories for your preferred instrument(reeds, mouthpieces, guitar straps, etc...), take lessons, and even bring in your instrument for repairs or even just an examination to make sure everything is in the best condition. I will definitely be returning.

Very unhappy . 1. They falsely advertised the piano its not a Casio thats $99 its a Yamaha . Plus the piano doesnt come with an adapter so you have to spend an extra 16 plus tax to buy that or they will try to make you buy a piano kit which was like $35 . So I bought the $16 adapter got home and then find out the headphone outlet DOES NOT WORK. I havent gone back to see if I can exchange because I cant find the receipt which was my fault because I shouldve kept it ... so thats why I give them 2 stars.. the people were really nice but there service isnt good personally

The first week of school someone broke my sons guitar, and Yamaha decided not to honor their warranty. However, the store came through and provided a new guitar! Thank you Music and Arts for participating outstanding customer service!!

Went here for a horn repair and everything was excellent. The repair was speedy and the customer service was outstanding. I will definitely be coming back for all my musical needs!

My son is a Lavilla student & has taken weekly sax lessons there for two years. We have rented & purchased several instruments & accessories with no problems. The staff is very knowledgeable & maintains a clean, professional environment for every customer. They offer student discounts & always offer to order anything they dont have in stock.

Stopped by to see if they had a screw for the rotor valve on my tuba. They took my tuba to the back, replaced the screw and did a tune up all the valves. And refused any payment. 1st visit. But not my last.

Im a professional musician and educator and Ive been extremely happy with the quality of service at Music and Arts. If they dont have what I need, they can usually get it for me very quickly and send to my house. Sean and his crew are world class!

I needed to rent a clarinet for my sixth grader for band and the employees there are very knowledgeable. I had many questions regarding the rental process, the instruments they rent, and questions regarding the band program at his school and they were very informative. I also learned that the band teacher at my sons middle school has one of the best band programs around! I will definitely return!

If you are looking for a place where the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and honest--this is the place! Well known in the area as the place to go for high school band instruments. Really nice folks...

As someone in the music world, I can say that their prices are fair and their selection is adequate. The staff is friendly and I have never had a problem. 5 stars!

The shops customer service and knowledge of the staff is outstanding.I have used the music lesson program for my two kids for over a year now I can say for sure it was well worth it.

I just bought a trumpet at the pawn shop for $20. I knew the 2nd valve may have a serious problem but for $20 I was will to take a chance. These guys were very helpful, gave it a good look over told me everything works good, and I got a great used trumpet worth about $150. They re- threaded the damaged valve and oiled everything and didn t charge me a thing. Well go back if we ever need more service supplies.

Took my flute in because a screw had backed out . Sean fixed it on the spot and didnt charge me. They are a great resource for my music needs.

I was anxious about bringing my new Buffet Crampon R13 clarinet into the shop for a minor repair. I drove past other locations closer to my Westside address to try for some expertise at Music & Arts. They were familiar with the problem, product, part and quick solution. When I have a future need Ill be here.

We took my wifes flute here for repair (general overhaul -- pads and springs) because there were air leaks causing a pithy sound (we perform professionally). Because they we so backed up their instrument tech sent it to some unknown tech in Orlando without first asking us. After a wait of several weeks we picked it up and brought it home -- it was MUCH worse than when we took it to the store. Slow service, sent out to an unknown person to fix. Crappy fix. And no, we wont return it to them to try again. Perhaps they are overwhelmed by the amount of business they have, but thats no excuse for creating new problems in a pro-level instrument. I managed to correct the B-flat key by physically bending it. Cannot recommend this shop. We now have several alternate recommendations for required additional repairs. Will have to pay again for this plus rental of a usable instrument for upcoming performances. Frankly, were not even sure the instrument we now have is the same instrument we brought to the store.UPDATE: 4/23/17 - The store manager called this past week to apologize for the problem and offer a full refund on the amount paid (more than $200). The refund was in our account in a couple of days. He was very apologetic about the problems and inconvenience and indicated that they would no longer outsource repairs to the vendor in Orlando. We appreciate the follow-up very much, and I have added a couple of stars to my original rating based upon this.

Went there and tried out a pedal that I was seriously interested in and he came and told me I needed to turn down that I was disturbing customers .. Well I was a customer too. I left and didnt buy the pedal because I couldnt turn it up to play with it so thanks bud .. It was the older white man with black rimmed glasses . Ill never go back

I went to get my instrument cleaned, and they told me my instrument would be ready in about two weeks. They ended up keeping it for a month. Even though it wasn’t cleaned yet, I went to pick it up because I have an audition coming up. They told us “you should’ve brought it when you had more time.”

Went there for repair it was really rushed they showed no interest in taking care of my instrument I was very disappointed

My flute was stolen and the staff told me they would replace it because I had insurance but I went through with it and then get there and they told me they wouldnt replace it. Very upset. Now Im rushing to find a flute before my next competition.

Horrible costumer service , went there today and there were only 2 employees there one cashier and another one to help people . he was helping a girl so we waited and more people came in . he saw us , and then went to go help another costumer that came in way after us . we kept waiting and the same thing kept happening . never returning
