Reason I gave that 2 star Have none respect Black Young lady with short hair has problem terrible attitude with me so she don’t communicate right to tell me and I told her that I though it 4 fufu because I ordered 4 but she keep face eyes roll didnt write down paper I trying to calmly myself. Bec I’m deaf ! don’t understand what she say so I decided to call my daughter help me to understand what she say now I understand about for 3 soup ok. She begin be funny look at me little too hard during she pack foods set out in the bags I not appreciate what she did. I not going there again might not friendly. anyway foods tasty not bad but I and my girls love fufu with Vegs. But gave us small size that cost expensive no make a sense to me.

First time trying egusi and fufu, and I will say it was delicious, however, the portion size is not worth the price. The website says to call ahead, so I did, but was told they don’t do call in orders. So I got up and drove almost 20 minutes across town to order and pick it up. The portion is so tiny for this to be almost 20 dollars, so I’m pretty disappointed.

Their customer service is low, kinda rude. The food is not as good as the food in west Africa, but with it being the only place in Jacksonville, it hits the spot. The portions are small for the price. The meat is usually dry and taste over cooked and they need to salt the food a little more. And for whatever reason they are always out of fish.

I am literally just leaving here now and the owner’s attitude is just terrible, I forgot my wallet and offered to pay through Zelle or cashapp, I have done this for bigger restaurants and it hasn’t been an issue but she decides to acts like it’s a big issue and basically walks out on me talking about I am putting her on the spot. I came genuinely to patronize a business but left cos I hate business owners that are rude.

I gave them a 4 instead of a 5 because they sell poison soap, black skin is beautiful I dont expect a black African store to sell bleach to blacks which damage our skin and make us look like white people. If you dont want to be black return to the creator and hope to return as a non black person during your next life but dont damage your beautiful skin. I would expect a Arab or Asian beauty store to sell us products and tell us to hate ourself but not African to do the same. All money is not good money.

This was my first experience eating African food and I was sooo excited! Until I sat down and started to eat...the chicken tasted left over and warmed up not freshly made. The Jollof rice was not seasoned tasted plain. The vegetable soup was pretty good. I will try another place again. Maybe this was just a bad day

Told we don’t give out prices over the phone.. which means the have different prices for different folks no not today or any other day will you get my money and after reading the review and asking around learned the food is mediocre and portions are small and over priced but I guess it just depends on who you are

This restaurant was definitely not worth the drive or the price for the food I got the Fu fu and eugusi with chicken and beef both the meats was dry and the portions they give was not worth the price, one piece of chicken of two pieces of beef which all where dry and hard I couldn’t even bite into it like it’s just been sitting under that light all day so don’t waste your time or money on this place.

They already only had 3 items from their already limited menu and then they only had one kind of meat left and its not really a popular one. At the very least, have beef! Im over Nigerian restaurants never having what they advertise on their menus. Im sure the food is good but since I couldnt taste it due to availability and I drove there for nothing, I have to give this rating. My best advice, call before you go and ask what they have for the day to see if youre interested or not.

If I could give this place a zero , I definitely would. I came here on a Monday, 4:52pm to be precise and the doors were locked. The restaurant hours says they’re open till 7pm. What a waste of my precious time. And they wonder why they go out of business down the line. Complete incompetence. Please do not waste your time patronizing this location. They don’t answer their phone calls either

I was so excited to find African good especially since I enjoyed Nigerian Egusi stew being Ghanaian and all I must say I was EXTREMELY disappointed.I can say that they are generous with the meat. They were THICK yet not well seasoned 😔The yam tasted strange and the Egusi barely had seasoning only tasted a little bit of pepper.Pls SEASON better cause this was disappointing for any African meal.I understand American or those that cant cook this not knowing how it should taste but those of us visiting and desire our home cooked meal shouldnt have to regret supporting our people.I beg do better

I wasnt able to make it to Ghana so I was excited to find this place. They cater to the West African culture mainly Nigeria but Ghana had a place. I had ordered the vegetable stew and yam fufu.
