Arcissa did a wonderful job. She was quick, and her years of experience are evident. I paid exactly what was agreed upon, so Im unsure why there have been a few negative reviews claiming otherwise. The shop itself had a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. I dont think I could have trusted many other artists with either of these projects. Im glad I waited until I found Harajuku Tattoo to finally get my first ink.

Went to Harajuku tattoo. Spoke directly with the owner, I saw her work on instgram and thats why I decided visit the shop. I thought her work was dope! Meeting her she was personable and professional.  She provided me the amount due once the art was complete based on the size I requested, we set up a day and time. I made my $100 deposit there at the shop and filled out paperwork. I was so excited! She seemed cool and we even talked Sailer moon a little while I was there. The VERY next day, she decided to close up shop and stated she was no longer doing tattoos. Literally a DAY after I met with her about the design!!!  Per her contract if you were late for your appointment or you canceled the appointment the deposit was non refundable.  Theres NOTHING in it about her closing the business or anything along those lines.  My husband and I respectfully asked for the deposit back. To my surprise, she REFUSED.... Professionalism??? There was none,  no apology, nothing!  She just referenced her contract states no refunds and very matter of fact about it all.  She reopen a few weeks later I was told but I never recieved my refund or provided a phone call once she reopened for an opportunity to reschedule. Which after that experience why would I?!  I honestly just wanted my money back. Her and her apprentice at the time laughed about it. She is a scammer!!! Beware!!!

100% unprofessional, watch out for this Scammer. she will give you a quote and literally tell you a price for a complete tattoo then she will work extremely extremely slow and only do about 1 1/2 hr worth of work after charging you and say that it has to be broken up into sessions and that each session is $300-$450 dont bother putting a down payment down you wont get it back. nowhere near worth 150$ hr worth of work, She literally tried charging us $4000 for the original agreement of $1200 they will turn a $300 tattoo into a $1k dollar one.“Edited review so I can reply to her response”this is 100% untrue as the text and chat logs state the price you quoted us. You don’t even have the correct Tattoo tables for people to sit properly like a professional shop would, you constantly took breaks to smoke all while charging on the clock The design never changed in size nor did the placement of it.

I have four tattoos from Cissa! She has such a unique style she’s developed over the years. Whenever I get compliments on the work she’s done, I always refer them to her! The shop is so cute! I will hopefully be able to come visit soon for another piece!

Very unprofessional. I was cancelled my appointment due to artists personal reason when I got to the shop 5 min before the appointment time.5 minutes. Can you beliveve that??? She cancelled on me by one Facebook message, when I was standing and waiting in front of their door for my appointment. And she is claiming that she is not gonna refund my deposit although I cannot reschedule my next appointmwnt cuzcuz I am busy with work. She cancelled on me, I am not at fault. She said deposit is non refundable, though she is the one cancelled me. Its a total scam. Watch out ppl.

The artist, Arcissa Jackson, has always been such a talented and kind individual. She created a couple of my tattoos, including the most colorful and everyones favorite. Her line work and attention to detail is phenomenal, and she worked with me despite some schedule changes. The tattoo remains vibrant and gorgeous a year later. Highly recommend her, she is worth it!!

I don’t usually do reviews unless I feel strongly about something. But wow this place is hands down the best tattoo shop I have ever been to! I have tattoos by both Arcissa and Tavie and they have absolutely phenomenal work. I have never felt so comfortable to be in a tattoo shop when I’m here. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great work. They have great minimalist tattoos too which you don’t really see a lot of in Jax. This is the place to go guys. Friendly staff and unbelievably great tattoo work!!!!

Love this place right here. So different from anywhere ive ever been. I feel like im in a new world and the atmosphere is so comfortable. Cissa is hands down so creative and unique. She learns who you are in such a short period of time just by connecting the dots between our astrological connections. It really makes a difference when it feels like the artist actually cares a little bit about the person they are working on. Definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great place to get some work done from a dopeee artist. 5 starts all day babyyy
