The office atmosphere was very inviting upon entrance. My presence was acknowledged immediately by receptionist. The personnel on staff conducted themselves very professionally. My interaction with the clinician was very relaxed and comfortable.

Ive been a patient here for more than a decade. My wife and children are patients now as well. The staff is courteous and friendly. The Doctors are amazing and dedicated to educating the patient. I recommend them highly.

I left Dr Favales office a little while ago totally juiced to write a wonderful review of his team. As I looked at the website and saw 575 reviews with an average of 4.9 I thought, what more can I add? There is nothing more to say; the man is a wonderful, caring person, and if you dont go there for your eye care.....well....thats on you!

I am writing this review to let the public know about my experience at this location below and for the poor customer service I received from the optician at the Jacksonville Eye Care Center.First the doctor was great!! No issues there.When My wife went for eye check up and glasses. Then selected the frames she liked, the optician (David) obviously gave poor advise obviously doesnt know what he is doing.If it was a real professional trying to help the customer and not trying to sell a pair of frames he would have told her that the frames would slip because they were a bit large for her.. This pair of glasses cost over 300.00 See Photo. My pair is also the same way so total cost for both was close to $550.00Thats not the whole story. We went back few days ago to see if we could get a measurement (Distance PD) which was not on the prescription and for us to be order a new pair of frames and lenses at a reasonable price ONLINE.The Optician said that he could not provide that number because it was not part of our service and that he is the one that verifies the number. All i asked was for him to then take the PD number and give to us since he is the expert of the number and he said he could not do it. WOW!!!!These are the kind of people that ruin a business with their poor customer service!THATS THE LAST TIME WE GO THERE FOR SURE...C.Vizoso

The office staff was very friendly and helpful. The office was clean and well maintained. The office staff provided details every step of the eye exam as to what they were doing and why, and what information the test would provided them. The doctor spend time with me to perform exam and show me outcome of test on computer and what it means. Selecting a new pair of glass was a great experience also. They were able to provide me details about the glasses to me to make the best choice for my needs. I will continue to use this office as my eye doctor and will refer Jacksonville Eye Care Center to anyone that ask me if I know of a good eye doctor.

My Wife and I were very pleased with everything that was done at Jacksonville Eye Care Center! They are very thorough and get everything done in a timely manner. First time there. Was a wonderful experience from beginning (scheduling the appointment) to end (ordering new eye glasses). Not to mention, it was extremely impressive they were in the manner of making appointment, changing appointment time, before exam procedures, actual exam, picking and ordering née glasses.

Quick and easy to setup an appointment. Facility is clean and well kept, staff very nice and polite. I highly recommend getting to use their new machine that takes an image of the back of your eye so they can see that your eye is healthy, only $29 too. Doctor was polite quick and effective and explained my eye picture in great deal of how its supposed to look and why, and the signs that its healthy. Checking out was a breeze and they made sure I got the most discounted through my insurance plus a coupon for more money off. Highly recommend giving them a try. My first trip there and will return hoping for a similar experience.

I highly recommend! As a new patient I was a little nervous going in but as soon as I got there, everyone was so nice and they’re all hilarious! Everything was neat and clean and the entire staff is a bunch of sweethearts :) If I could give more stars I would.

Anthony Favalle invaded my intimate space (2ft or less) to lecture me on my personal life with my wife, I have never meet or seen the guy. This person should respect how people choose to live there live, my wife and I own a 1960’s home and I am doing a full rehab, my wife choose to help me by buying a new UV bulb for the air conditioner, she turned the bulb on before placing it in the air handler and hurt her eyes. I had an appointment at this place, but I had to cancel it, I don’t want to be near this person again.

I am a new patient at the Jacksonville Eye Care. My original eye doctor retired and I have bounced around from eye doctor to eye doctor over the past few years. I had a full exam for new contacts and glasses. They were very professional and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I ended up getting new contacts, safety glasses, and dress glasses. The whole process was smooth and seemless. I will definitely be returning for my next exam.

I can see again, thanks to Dr. Favale! I developed a deep corneal scar, which blurred my vision bad enough that I was unable to drive. Dr Favale fitted me with a scleral lens. The specialty lens gave me near-perfect vision and removed ALL of the diplopia (double-vision). I have my life back. Dr Favale is very driven and meticulous. His staff is very nice and knowledgeable. This is the place you want to go for any vision issues!

I veered off 1 year due to convenience and that will never happen again.Dr. Favale is friendly, personable and most importantly thorough with the health of your eyes. They dont always have the best selection of frames however... you can always purchase them elsewhere and bring them to the office for them to send off to get your new script. Ive been a patient at Jacksonville Eye Care Center for a few years and they are by far the best optometry office I have visited. The staff is quick and friendly, and Dr. Favale always provides thorough exams while clearly explaining your vision and eye health. You can tell everyone at Jacksonville Eye Care goes the extra mile to make patients feel comfortable and well taken care of.

I have been going to this office for at least 25 years. I drive 40 minutes to come here, but it is well worth the drive. The office is clean. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The wait time to be seen is minimal. The physicians are awesome! They are smart, great bedside manner and take time to explain and answer all your questions. I feel I am in great hands when coming here. I love this office.

I had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Javed for for my annual eye exam and to also establish an eye doctor as I am new to Jax. She was super helpful and knowledgeable and you can tell that she truly cares for her patients and loves what she does. Dr. Javed took her time to answer all my questions and concerns. She was very personal and takes an honest interest in you. The staff are extremely nice and efficient and actually have real conversations with you in order to get to know you better. My experience with Jacksonville Eye Care Center was excellent. A few days before my appointment, I ran out of my daily contacts. I stopped by without an appointment or even a phone call. They assisted me right away and in 5 minutes they provided me with some at no charge.On the day of my scheduled appointment, I arrived and the staff greeted me with a smile, checked me in, and I had a very short wait before being seen. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I received individual attention as though I was the only patient they were caring for. The eye exam was very thorough and every aspect of it was explained to me. Dr. Favale and Kimberly were great.

I highly recommend Jacksonville Eye Care Center! This year, 4/2021, I decided to buy my glasses at the office. The glasses were over $1,000.00. However, I did get no line bifocals, progressive lens, and no glare, and purchased the frames. This is why the last time I chose to take my prescription and buy my glasses at a different, much less expensive location. This pair is going to have to last me a long time, especially since I could have just paid an for an office visit and purchased the glasses for half that price somewhere else. I still love Dr. Favale as a very thorough eye doctor.

Friendly staff. Seen with a next day appointment. They were able to still offer gas permeable contacts instead of trying to push the box in disposables. A little pricey but worth every penny. Very pleased overall.

I had an issue with the glasses they ordered originally but they did not complained at all. The doctor saw me again and made minor changes to the prescription based on how I use my glasses v second pair came in and I was able to see far away and read perfectly at short distances.That is what I call A+ customer service.
