We wanted ice cream but didnt want to drive to a separate Location so we talked the men into Peterbrooke gelato... SO GLAD WE DID! you can get 2 flavors and I highly recommend a fruity flavor and a chocolate, I promise you wont regret it!My husbands favorite candy is toffee so I picked him out some of that.. it ended up being spicy toffee and he LOVED IT!

Im use to being greeted with a nice welcome and a smile. I drove around about 25 minutes trying to find parking so I can get my mom some Peterbrooke chocolate covered strawberries 🍓. Once I walked into the store, there were no greeting, no welcome, no smiles, and neither of the two young ladies there said one word to me. They both made me feel weird about spending my money there.I started not to buy anything but I really wanted to get my mom this gift. So I remained nice and happily paid for my items. The cashier did thank me for coming as I was leaving. So that made me feel a little better.

If Krystal is there, ask for her. Shes so sweet. Their store has many offerings, all delicious and creative.

The best place to stop for chocolate made here in Jacksonville. The chocolate covered popcorn is the best. Staff is friendly and helpful. It certainly is a difficult store to stay away from when you live in the neighborhood. A great stop for visiting relatives and Air B&B visitors.

Everytime I go in this store or any other Peterbrooke store they never have Chocolate covered apples. I went in today, granted it is Valentine’s Day, but they have been out of apples since Friday. Did you not know Valentine’s Day was coming up? Why would you not prepare? Does no one have common sense to go to the produce store or Publix and get more apples. I was told it was because the apple life was only three days but yet you had strawberries in the store covering them as I walked in the door which have a much shorter lifespan than apples. One would think I’d an item is that popular and sells out a week in advance, the business owner would have enough common sense o go buy some apples, put a stick on them and dip away! I would have someone in the back making them nonstop. As a floral designer myself, that’s like me saying I’m out of roses two days out but not having enough sense to order more if my customers were willing to buy them. Stupid stupid!

You know how there are snooty chocolatiers who make chocolate that is worse than grocery store chocolate? This place redeems all the collective sins of those places. Had a white chocolate sea salt block, a plain milk chocolate block, Halloween eyeball candy, and a peanut butter square. Everything was delicious. 10 out of 10 for service and price and quality. What a place!

I bought the chocolate covered chips and the peanut butter Gelato and it was super delicious and worth getting. The worker was very nice and welcoming too. Will definitely come here again to buy chocolate.

Me and my sis walked in and we were not greeted by the person behind the counter. My sis said hello and nothing. I walked in and said hello and also nothing. A third person walked in and they greeted that customer. Not professional at all. Will not be coming here. Rude! Rude! Rude! If I can give no stars I would!

If you need chocolate covered anything..this is the place to go. Their popcorn is to die for. The shop is tucked in charming Avondale. A great place to people watch as you enjoy your delicious chocolate. I have been to other Peterbrooke Chocolatier shops but this is my favorite. The staff is always super friendly.

This place doesnt dissapoint. My friend and I purchased almost $200 on chocolate for ourselves and our families and every bit of it was worth it. The quality is amazing. Worth every penny.

They have nice chocolates and many very tasty made fresh gelatos to choose from. Some new flavors are added everyday. They will let you sample the gelato as well as. If you dont want chocolates or gelato. You can get pies or slices of awesome cake at Biscottis next door or creamy frozen yogurt at whitneys across the street. Lots of sweet options here in the shops of Avondale.

Great place for gifts for clients, you know the ones, they LOVE chocolate! I shop here for gifts for workers as well as clients because the products are so delicious and creative. I would recommend this place, as I would most other PeterBrooke locations. Great local Jacksonville business with multiple locations!

Love their product and usually buy the clear packs which is better deal. If you buy expensive tub they give you 20-25% popcorn crumbs to make up weight.

Honestly, it was ok. The young lady who helped us acted as if she couldnt wait to sell us something so we would leave. They used to do a closing time special to sell unpackaged/unsold chocolate strawberries. She acted like we were bothering her asking about it. The chocolate covered cookies we bought were still good like always... good quality. I guess customer service and making your customers feel wanted have gone way down in importance since I had been there in the last 5 years or so.

The chocolate is not worth what they charge for it you You are only paying legitimately just for the name they take it from one box and put it into another box and sell it to you for way too much money you can go to a regular grocery store and buy better chocolate for a lot cheaper.
