Great experience! I Had never been anywhere that trims beards and shaves your head before and me being a balding guy with a beard this place had my name written all over it! Benjamin made the experience very enjoyable with good conversation and the sales associate that helped my brother buy the package for me was very knowledgeable in the shaving products available for sale. Looking forward to coming back again 🤙

Stopped in to get a Royal shave. Very nice guys working at his location. But sadly, by far the worst shave Ive ever had.Im a safety razor shaver and never have any irritation on my face. I let the barber know I have no real sensitivity , when he asked, that I THOUGHT would pertain to a straight razor shave.Art of Shaving prides itself on the no irritation shave. and my face was so irritated and burning I had wash off all the products as soon as I left.It was the most bizarre shave Ive ever had. I arrived with a day and half stubble and my hair does not grow that fast. Im an every other day shaver and this would be my regular shave day.I knew things were going wrong fight off the bat. The barber started to shave my stubble down with a regular trimmer. I asked him what he was doing and he said, Id get a closer shave if he used the trimmer first. Then after pretty much shaving my whole face with a TRIMMER, he whips out an electric razor and begins to shave me with that. An electric shaver is the ONLY thing that irritates the crap out of my skin.I asked him how long hes been working there, 3 weeks was his reply.Because of the electric razor and trimmer use on my face by the time he got finished everything irritated my skin.I walked out of there with burning, irritated skin. I made a beeline for the nearest rest room. Soothed my face with some cold water and cleaned off all the products. This calmed my skin enough for me to get home and take care of my face with my own after shave balm and much needed witch hazel.Not only would I never go to this place again, Ill tell everyone to use caution at this location. The barber had no idea what he was doing.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at any barber shop. I walk in with hair to my shoulders and told Benjamin that I just wanted to clean it up because it was flipping up at the ends. I walked with a short over the ears haircut that I was forced to pay $55 for. If there was a worse rating than 1 I would give them the worst. Unfortunately I can’t take it back for a refund. I wish I could sue them for the damages.

Received an excellent haircut from Benjamin. Hes also an interesting conversationalist. Overall great experience.

I had a beard trim and was skeptical because my facial hair grows in a strange way. So I went to see if there was anything that could be done. Antwon was the man who trimmed it for me. He was able to make my beard look fantastic! He was professional and kind. The service all around was solid. I recommend these folks. Not only do I love the store itself, this particular store was above the norm.

I had been on Art of Shavings Website before, but I really wanted to see what the beard oils smelled like before I bought them. I walked into a warm (rare snowflakes were falling from the sky outside), very nice smelling interior decorated in wood. The barber in the next room gave me a nod as he held a straight razor to the neck of the man in the chair.The sales lady was attentive, and let me try out the classic beard oil and beard wax on my own fledgling beard.Needless to say, I bought two bottles of the classic beard oil, and Ill absolutely be back for more!

My wife went in to purchase a kit for me as a surprise Christmas gift and the salesperson gave her such a run around she called me and asked me to come over to the store, surprise Christmas gift spoiled. She wanted to purchase the full size kit and was told the cost would be 195.00 for the kit and she would get a free razor along with the kit, which they claimed to be out of stock and was never told when to come back to get the razor. She had a 25.00 off coupon which I was given when I made a purchase a while ago. Today online I see the very same kit with a price of 120.00, how can this be discounted a whole 75 dollars? Also she was given a smaller brush in place of the full size brush that came with the kit. I will be returning this for a full refund.
