Good place for home maintenance. I found the patch paste I was looking for but they were out of stock on the FlexPaste branded stuff I was seeking. The staff answered my questions and the self checkout is easy but you have to look down to find the receipt like a ticket machine at a game room...

Excellent attention, every moment that I go they treat me in this headquarters with the quality and respect that I can deserve. I would like the staff to be more trained in each area, with even more knowledge of the locations of accessories or tools, but many are very friendly.

I had an the best experience and kindness shown today. I had a problem and asked one of the employes to help me it turned out to be the superviser of the store. They went out of there way to help me. It was awesome what they did and I can not thank them enough. Best customer service ever!!

I really like Home Depot. I just chose the wrong time to go inside. There were construction workers everywhere. Everyone in line for paint. I just wanted to get a couple samples so I thought Ill come back on another day. At a different time.

Simply awful!I bought a dishwasher online with delivery and installation included. While at my home, the installation crew pressured me for a tip, scratched the display panel on the appliance, and crossthreaded the water line connection. They peformed a subpar quality check which didnt notice the crossthreaded water connection. They informed me the dishwasher was ready to go.I immediately ran a cycle to clean the inside of the dishwasher. Two hours later we noticed wet carpet along the wall along where the dishwasher was installed. I removed the kickplate and checked under the dishwasher and there was a puddle caused by a dripping water line connection. It was crossthreaded. Poor quality work, and poor quality check. It ruined an area of carpet about 3x7.I had to fix the dishwasher myself and install it myself. It works now. Home Depot has been a poor partner in resolving this issue. I called Home Depot immediately (about 7:45pm) after we stopped the leak, dried up the water under the appliance, and pulled up the carpet. I was told a manager would call me back tomorrow. I had not received a call by afternoon, so I called them. The manager I spoke with was rude, unapologetic, refused to offer any sort of refund (even for the installation fee). He insisted I meet him in person in the store. I did so. Again he was rude, interrupting me mid-sentence, and in no way apologetic or showing concern for my problem. We filled out paper work. I was told I should have no problem getting a carpet replacement. I was told Id be called by Tuesday to followup by calling a number he gave to me.I was not called on Tuesday. So on Wednesday I called the number. I was told I should contact the delivery/installation company myself, and that I would be followed up with. I then called and spoke with the same Home Depot manager to request my installation fee be refunded and for the cost of the power cable to be refunded because I had never received one ($159.99 total). Again this manager was rude, stopping me mid-sentence, and told me Id be called Wednesday. This is either a lie or hes very forgetful. He agreed to refund me. However, when I followed up today with customer service, I learned that he never refunded me. Thankfully the cs person was very nice and actually helped me with the refunds without issue.Unfortunately, despite the Home Depot manager telling me that most likely my carpet will be replaced, Im only being offered $300. Which is supposed to have been the cost of drying the carpet. The carpet was 15 years old. It was heavily used and in a high traffic area. How do you save saturated dirty carpet thats old? Well you cant, so now I have to pay for my living room to be recarpeted.Home Depot has lost my business. I regret this transaction.

We will NEVER do business with Home Depot again. We ordered a Frigidaire refrigerator. When it was delivered it was severely damaged and we refused delivery. I contacted customer service and they were so rude I just asked for a cancellation and a refund. They said I had to do it through the Girvin/Atlantic store since thats where the delivery originated. Its been 2 weeks and still no refund. Contacted store and they stated its Frigidaires fault as they show it was delivered and in my home. WHAT A CROCK. These people arent to be trusted. We are paying our home depot card off and I have already cut it up.....

Home Depot is TRASH. Bought a dishwasher, set up delivery never came. So called the resolution dept. and thought I had it “handled”. I stated I wanted to return my product and I would go to the store to do so, I was told I can do it right now and ALL you have to do is go to the store and swipe your card. That was not the case. Went to the store it was still “pending cancelation” so they could not return my money($1209. And change). I was like that is not acceptable. Find someone who can. Called the Home Delivery support who confirmed the cancellation was complete and the product was scanned back into their inventory. Informed the Home Depot girl Tessa, who said unfortunately…. Blah blah blah. So now I don’t have my product and what was the delivery company, Daryl Flood Logistics, problem is now Home Depot’s problem and they refused to handle the situation. Stay tuned for the next episode as I have to return tomorrow, on a Saturday, to speak with the General Manager. Already filed a complaint with the BBB. Again, shop Lowe’s they honor veterans and aren’t trash like Home Depot.

Saw one staff hiding from customers on his phone, between the fridges. Another talking on her phone while walking around in the store. Pathetic and thoroughly disorganized selection of nuts and bolts. Prices aren’t that much better than proctor ace, down the road on Atlantic, if at all. Unless I’m buying a large amount of lumber, I won’t bother with these clowns again.

I needed a toilet seat for my daughter so I swung by and they had one that was affordable for a rent as l property.

Very unhelpful I went to just get boxes and they don’t even have enough decency to unpack the boxes for purchase. Everything is tied together like that’s going to help me . No luck finding someone to help you no one is on the floor to even offering a hand. They might as well be replaced by robots at least I would get acknowledged. If looking for help don’t come here .If I could give a zero star I could.

In plumbing todayNot only did the young man go out of his way he got up in the overhead inventory to find the items I needed. Great customer service. And the young boy getting shopping carts went out of his way to say Happy Mothers Day.

Louis was great. Give that man a raise & his family a new appliance of their choice! He deserves it for his excellence in service! He had a great attitude on a busy Saturday morning helping several customers back-to-back with a smile and always acknowledging customers as they were waiting for his help. He was incredibly knowledgeable and above and beyond helpful with tips and things to know re: installation. Made for a great experience buying a new washer & dryer from Louis! Also, several other team members, like Ed in Kitchen/Design, greeted and said hello, which says a lot about the overall training and culture at Home Depot.

Do not ever have Home Depot quote or install flooring! Took 3 months and numerous phone calls for the flooring to to be delivered (I was originally told the flooring was available and could be delivered the following week). 1st install date was missed by HD, on the second scheduled date the installers told me the floor could not be installed due to damaged material from inadequete packaging. I was told material would need to be reordered. At this point I was totally disgusted and told home depot to forget it and cancelled order. I then went to a local flooring store, the flooring was ordered, and installed within 7 days!

Home depot is a joke i am there about every day. Trying to get help is nearly impossible. Employees gathered in small groups chit chatting. On more than one occasion employees talking in the middle of aisle. While i stood the unable to get through. Finally said are you serious. Then they said there was plenty of room. But there was no room at all. Bigger point customer service should be #1 concern not socializing!!!! Also watched 4 employees standing around talking while a older lady needed help with a piece of 8x4 sheet rock. So after watching and realizing that they had no plans of helping. Figured i would help and was happy to do so. However i do not work for home depot. If not for the fact i am a contractor and need materials on a daily basis. You can bet i would never walk in that store again!!!

We ordered floors and they screwed up the order and told us we have to pick different floors.(they were new floors) we argued for 3 hours in the store and finally they realized I was right.Then they say they are going to deliver Friday and floors are getting installed Monday....we called and waited around all day. They said it was on its way....No one showed up! I have poor health so this is sooo stressful and so incompetent. If you tell me your going to do something then I expect it to be done! So angry right now.....

Went to return a fan belt ,Simple Right? I got the wrong one,Stay with me LOST 2 of the Return Specialist , Returning 2 Belts Why? Mostly Lawn mowers have (2) I Just cant understand how 2 high-quality people kept trying to give me $ for 2 belts 10 minute deal cost me an hour

I called and scheduled to have someone come to measure for a picture window and I received an email stating someone would call me to schedule an appointment. When nobody called after a few days, I called Home Depot back and spoke to someone in scheduling who set the appointment for 2:00 pm on Saturday 3/20 2021. I requested a text notification 30 minutes before measurer would arrive. I never received any confirmation or reminder call regarding this. I waited until 3:00 pm for the notification. When I called back, the representative said I was scheduled in the system but nobody got assigned. He quickly dismissed the problem without apology and said he could reschedule this. No thank you--will go elsewhere. Sort of a wasted day--Home Depot needs to do some work in their scheduling departments!

Needed some paint markers for job site and the person working in tools sent me over to the paint section. Theyre a type of paint that you use in metal fabrication not wall paint. When you work in customer service you need to know what you are doing.That people are very anti-social

Do not buy flooring here. They post all over the flooring section that they will have it installed in 7 business days. After the purchase they schedule instillation 15 days out. Promise 1 broken. We make all the preparations, pile furniture in bathrooms. They cancel day of. Promise 2 broken. They tell us that they have rescheduled us for the following day. They canceled on us today and said they would reschedule us for Monday. Promise 3 broken. Then the storm manager has the absolute audacity to say she sees how all this looks in my “perception.” I listed 3 facts to this person and this is Home Depot’s response. My “perception” of how it’s been. I’m blown away at how terrible Home Depot has handled this situation.

I would LOVE to not only Thank, but Commend Alyssa in the Customer service area. Ill spare you the lengthy situation with a washer I had ordered months before that just needed the drain hose connected. She helped me with direct contact to department supervisors, third party delivery company and the manufacturer. Home Depot shines because of her care and true concern..or maybe it was just my frazzled look? Either way, shes your go to person. If you need help. Ill never be able to thank her enough.

Two Problems with Home Depot:1. Bought a dishwasher online and it was delivered damaged. It took over two weeks to even get a remedy for the damaged dishwasher. We had to go through the manufacture. Do yourself a favor and go to Lowes!!!2. Do NOT do their free water test! They essentially outsource through a company called Rainsoft and the sales guy will only try & sell you a $8,000 unit and guilt trip you if you dont buy what he suggests.

I believe their names were Larry and Tyler. Both work in the Tool Rental department. Tyler was very attentive and helped us renting a core drill and finally an 8 inch core bit. He made sure the drill powered up and that the bit wasnt too big for the drill. Upon arrival at the job we realized after installing the bit on the drill that something wasnt right. When we brought the drill back and let them know that there was an issue with the tool and we couldnt use it. Larry voided the contract for us and returned our rental fee and deposit. These two guys really know their department and their jobs. Thanks a lot you guys. Thats the type of customer service that makes everyones day better. I know a few customer service representatives that need to take lessons from these two gentlemen!!!!!!

Went in 4 different times to get help with carpet all 4 times had to hunt down someone, then I get well the person for flooring is at lunch or on break or doesn’t know what to do it’s not their job. Never been mor disappointed in a place than this. I went to Lowe’s and bought our carpet there.

Loved being able to stop on my way home with my dog and was able to bring him in so I could pick up a needed item. If my dog couldnt have joined, I wouldnt have been able to stop. Although the place was very busy, we were in and out quickly!

Customer Service is lousy(comparable to Lowes), no one is either in the departments or seems to know anything other than when its their break or time to leave. I was pointed in the wrong direction by an associate , then I had to waited over 30 mins for an order that no one seem to know where it was located and when I finally received it, it was damaged. The most unprofessional group you can imagine. I wouldnt wish this store on my worst enemy..🤬

Well never shop here again. We have a choice and Lowes is much more customer focused. We ordered fencing online where their website showed it was in stock. We received confirmation order was ready. Went to pick it up and at first they tried to load the wrong fencing after looking at receipt twice. When I questioned it, they said what I ordered was out of stock. They confirmed this with lumber manager - even though over 50 panels were showing in their inventory system. They did have a few broken panels that we could purchase but customer service would need to approve a discount. Customer service approved approximately 5% discount. Unsatisfactory. They consulted lumber manager who went up a little bit but truly insulting considering the work my husband would have to do to put the broken pieces together before even starting to use them. He took time off from work based on your promise. He secured labor assistance based on your promise. You failed to honor your promise. You have lost our trust. You have lost our business. Fix your inventory system. Fix your order fulfillment system. Fix your loading procedure. Fix your customer service.

The home Depot is a mixed bag. there are times when you get exceptional service and then there are times when you get outright ignorance inside of the establishment with the employees. there are times when it is so frustrating dealing with anyone that works there and then other times people are so nice and cordial and hopeful. A girl at the customer service desk was completely rude and felt as though it was a burden to answer any question that I asked. But the flip side to that is that the girl at the cash register was extremely nice and helpful and was answering all my questions as though she had the best day in the world. So like I said, mixed bag.

Was not a 5 ⭐ experience today. The wallpaper remover we wanted to buy was in a destroyed box. Waited over twenty minutes to get an employee to the board cutting station. Then the cashier couldnt find a price and had to send someone for a price check... another ten minutes.

Over 2 weeks ago I was helping my 72 year old mother order a new washer/dryer set for her home. We placed the order, paid, and had delivery scheduled for today 10/27. She was to be notified by phone the day before to arrange time for delivery and to install. Needless to say NO PHONE CALL or any other contact yesterday so when I called today I was told that the washer/dryer set was on back order and it would be at least another week for delivery. Because of NOT being advised of this schedule change, my mother had already donated her old units which had already been picked up the weekend before. The lack of communication is totally unacceptable especially with a major purchase. As a result I contacted other appliance stores and after telling them what happened, not only did they set my mother up with a brand new name brand washer/dryer set for less than what Home Depot charged, they made special arrangement to deliver same day!! And we had time to go to Home Depot and cancell her order with full refund. Never again will order or shop Home Depot!!! Not even so much as an apology. Horrible service!!!

Rented a trailer bucket truck. associate said he would reset the time that your time doesnt start until you leave the parking lot. well until youre ready to leave the parking lot. If youre late getting it back you go from renting it by the hour to renting it by the day which would have been a $400 difference in price. they would reset the time when we have to bring it back because after hooking it up to the vehicle and demonstration of the equipment and safety check took about 20 mins of a 4-Hour rental time. They didnt reset it ended up getting it back with 3 minutes to spare thinking we had that extra cushion to allow for traffic. The lady that rented out the equipment ice cold. the associate that checked us out though he didnt reset the time like he promised very very nice.

I was very dissatisfied. I stopped by after a long 10 hour shift, I stopped in the purchase some tools to make my job easier. I was scanning my items, and the woman working the self check out was very unprofessional. I go out of my way to visit another location to get the cheerful customer service I deserve.

I side a curbside pickup. It was quick and easy. The guy brought my things out with a mask on. Kept distance as he loaded my truck. He verified my ID. It was all good.
