I had an amazing time at American Freight!!! Every time I went I was looking for a bedroom set that had to be ordered cause it wasn’t in stock and me being hasty I would go pick my money back up cause it was taking forever it seems like but EVERY TIME I WENT my salesperson was Masugbeh and she always was very respectful and helpful. She listened to what it is I wanted and always went out her way to make sure I had a good experience & after a long year of not finding anything I went back an left with the bed I wanted from the start so if your looking for great customer service ask for Masugbeh!!!

Purchased from here a few years ago and for the price not to bad. I would definitely pick up your items if able to just so you can check them for damages and to make sure you receive the right items. Plus its $90 to deliver from a 3 rd party company and youll have to pay the $90 upon delivery so cheaper to rent a truck(we did this) Also most items arent even in stock so who knows how long youll wait so just make sure to ask questions and dont buy the unnecessary things they try to sell ya!! So I looked on website to checkout what they have and yea over priced on a lot of things like dinning set table and chairs, Over $400 for something simple and the sad part its not even solid wood its that cheap looking wood so definitely look on website and review specifications. Things sure did change in just a few years smh better off going to a retail store not this warehouse. Do your research before you commit to buying expensive things that you plan on keeping for few years cause youre gonna be stuck if you have any issues at all!!

I called on Saturday night and asked about a certain furniture set, I was told its not in store but can be ordered and itll be shipped in right weeks. I get to the store on Sunday afternoon and I was told they do not order that item and then tried to sell me something that I didnt want. Ppl need to communicate better on that store. Thats the reason I havent been back there in about twelve years because they are never accurate on details.I thought maybe after all the years that has passed they would have changed, NOT!!! WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!!!!

Ive purchased different furniture from here for years and never had any issues until my most recent. I purchased a couch and loveseat. I waited over a month which is expected at a lot of places at the moment. When they received my furniture they called me and we set a delivery date for that Saturday. Saturday came and went and it was never delivered despite speaking to the store twice that day and being told it was on the truck for delivery. I was given the delivery drivers number and never received a call back or notice to inform me they wouldnt make it to me so I wasted an entire Saturday waiting for nothing. Because so they only reduced my $130 delivery fee to $100 AND THEN DIDNT even inform the delivery drivers of the fee change so that was fun when they asked for payment upon delivery and they had no idea I was to pay less because the store Manager did not communicate this to them.. 🙄 Very poor communication and customer service on their part.

Layaway some furniture until son moved out. The salesperson told me call ahead of time to make sure the furniture was there. I tried to call them, they put me on hold.. after 15 minutes I hung up the phone and called again. A male answered and I started to tell him that I was calling to let them know that I wanted to pickup, he cut me off and asked to hold. after 15 minutes again, I drove to the store, which takes me 45 minutes, 30 minutes on hold someone picked up the phone and hung it up. I cancelled my order and went somewhere else. never again

They are dishonest and encourage you to pay for your furniture in full promising that all of your furniture is in stock and will be delivered same day. Then lie to you all day and say you are next on the delivery list hours later no delivery. I call and call only to be put on hold and lied to again. Still no delivery. Now they are closed and I was hung up on. Very disappointed and angry. I spent over 2,000 on furniture for my new apartment and have been waiting all day for a delivery that never came and blatantly LIED TO REPEATEDLY. This is totally UNACCEPTABLE service and treatment:

I recently went in and bought a dresser and a nightstand and Damarie made my experience perfect. He made sure to make me feel inviting as well as made my purchase a breeze. It was a great experience. He also went out of his way to make sure it I needed to transport my purchase, I had the option for delivery or in store pickup. In my case I did same day pick up and he helped me move my furniture into my car. He had outstanding customer service!

I received spectacular service today from Sheri (Masugbeh). She helped me find the perfect sofa and love seat as well as a few beautiful rugs that will make my new home pop. I highly recommend you visit the Kentwood location and ask for her, you will not be disappointed!

Had an awesome experience at this location. Bryce was amazing and very helpful. When other stores were taking 6-8 weeks they were able to get me my furniture by next day. Will definitely be back for future furniture needs.

I purchased a mattress 6 weeks ago and they still do not have it in. Every time I call to see if it’s been delivered they give me a run around about how it hasn’t made it in yet. The more reviews I read I learn this is a common thing. I wish I would have know this since we made a purchase. Every time I call they try and get me to come in to check out the other ones they have or the same one I ordered they have a damaged one on clearance. Why in the world would I want a damaged one and why would I want something different then what I picked out. I wish there was more honesty with this company. I asked to be refunded and they gave me a number to call. I called the number and she told me I had to fill something out online and someone will get back to me in 3 days. That was 2 weeks ago and I’ve heard nothing. I have sent one 3 different times in the last two weeks. Nothing. Dishonest company!

Paid for my sectional on Jan 30 and was told it’ll be in 2-4 here it is March and still no furniture. Went in to see them and was told it’s because of COVID things are behind. Also mentioned that it was shipped the 7th?!! Ok why is it not here yet.. then shows me a list of people that ordered the same couch but I’m number 6 on the list?! They’re giving me the run around and excuses for taking my money. Basically telling everywhere else is having the same problem and that if I wanted to come back I would at the bottom of the list...... yet I see all kind is reviews of people getting their furniture immediately....I’m very upset and not impressed with their servicesIt’s now mid March and still now couch yet!

I ordered furniture back in July, I just bought a house and had a baby due in September. I was told by a worker that I ordered from that they highly doubt I would get my furniture no later then the first week of September. I just barely got my couches which I paid $130 for delivery they only brought partial and forgot pillows and an ottoman that was supposed to go with it so I have a cushion hanging on the floor yet to receive the rest of my order. It is now going on the last week of October and I have not received my bed furniture leaving me sleeping on an air mattress with a newborn! I continue to call and no one can give me answers and acts like they dont know whats going on. So unprofessional if I would have known I would have got furniture somewhere else. NOT RECOMMENDED!!! Will be reporting to better business bureau!

Plenty of stock but its difficult to get a good look at anything and most furniture is a bit on the pricey side.

Bought three piece sectional got it home and frame was broke have called over 15 times to exchange two of the three pieces and I keep getting the same response, well have our manger call you back. 30 days of calling with no response must be a real busy manager. This place loves you the day your in there store, but dont expect any resolution. What a joke!!!! Dont waste your money here management is a joke.how can you pay for a couch have a problem from day one make over 15 attempts on contacting a company with no response and expecting to be legit company.

I placed three items on layaway a month in advance of moving into my first apartment. Spoke with the same guy each time I visited the store. I came in three days before picking up & placed another item onto my layaway. On my move in date, I came to pick up my couch, table set & lamp sets & was told that everything that was put on my layaway was out of stock. The employee also stated that my layaway did not lock in anything (which is the complete opposite of what he told me when I placed the original layaway) & that if i wanted to purchase, i would have to wait 6-8 weeks. I HIGHLY do not recommend.

Can I say They Go Above and beyond Matt drove to the Postage store to get my side rails Now Who does that Not ever has a furniture store done that. You guys out did yourselves to make this Customer HAPPY. I cancelled an item and was refunded on the spot No run around.
