I had a hard time with Apria after they left me a message. I called back and left message and hoped they would call me back in the time promised on the recording. They didn’t so I called 3 more times that day and it was after working hours but called again and left message. The next day I waited and waited but no call backs from them. I do not think they listen to the messages at all. I could have been unclear on one call but not on all 4 calls. I left name and number and also left birthdate and still nothing.I tried once again and the person transferred my call and got answering machine, left message again. My wife called again and talked with a young lady who was very nice and what they needed was insurance information and the co-pay. She sent a form we needed to fill out. We filled it out and sent it back within minutes. They took our money and have not heard anything from them. I’ve left messages asking for status but no calls.I had already given up on them but today my doctor called me and asked how I was doing with the cpap machine, what machine? I let him know what they have not done yet, no call backs,How I wished my doctor had chosen another company

Never answer the phone when you them call back. If by a miracle, someone answers you get disconnected 3 times after holding over 30 mins by 3 different reps and they did not call me back. They cancel orders frequently, claiming they cant reach you when you already said your availability and they call back when youre not available... Claim they cannot reach and cancel your order. Then have to reinstate and get authorized again. Its been a month still no product. This company is so disorganized.

Tried contacting 5 times all failed. One time they immediately hanged on me. Other time they havent recieved any order from my doctor. And now its been 3 weeks and nothing. Are they even a licensed cpap supplier at this point...

Awful service. Its VERY difficult to get anyone on the phone. Youll be on hold forever, and then it hangs up on you. I just did it 6 times in a row, and the same thing happened to me last week. If youre somehow able to leave a msg, theres about a 90% chance they wont listen to it, and its probably less likely theyll even call you back. So far, theres only one person Ive talked to at the branch thats somewhat friendly and thats the respiratory therapist. I dont know what Aprias issue is, but the process to get the proper CPAP mask shouldnt be this difficult. Im very disappointed. Dont go through them for anything. Its not worth the stress. They quite literally make you want to give up on life. Maybe thats their goal.

Most confusing and takes forever to speak to someone. 45 minutes on hold, what I was told would be sent out didnt happen. Waste of my time and my insurance companys money. Informed my doctor should look at using different service.

I have repeatedly called to get a billing twice and have not gotten one AT ALL! At 9pm onFriday night I get a call that I need to pay my bill or it will goto collections!!! I have tried to get an account number to no avail! The only sheet I have is so light (pink carbon copy) I can’t read it. I am very disgusted with the billing service. If you look back at my previous record from Albuquerque, NM you will see that I always prepaid Apria.Selina Romero.

Waiting for a pickup. 2nd day no response or pickup Waiting and waiting. Tried calling 3 times. On hold for over 45 minutes both times.Never did answer. Horrible !!!!

Had only a 8 minute wait on hold. The lady was very friendly and took care of all my needs.This is the 2 time i had to use a wound vac and both times could not have gone better.

We have had numerous problems with the branch. Failure to follow through, not returning calls, follow up on orders. I called 4 days before a snow storm explaing her concentrator was not working properly. Told someone would be out that day. Three days later came the snow and no power. Now it looks like it will take a week. Thank God for 1st responders and friends who came through with filled tanks. Now I see why the branch has a one star rating.

This is my second google review in two days. After having what I thought was a horrible experience with a competitor, I have worked a full day to change to another DME companyt to supply my husband (covid-19) oxygen at home. I had a very nice encounter with a gentleman who was preparing to contact my insurance and get everything cleared for someone else to contact me aboutd delivery. Joe (Frirday afternoon) called me confused about our situation, and I explained that my husband had oxygen; but I was changing companies because I did not want to give the other company any more dimes than I had to. She acted uncertain about scheduling the delivery citing the weather which was not bad here yet. She agreed to check with the delivery driver and call me back. I did not hear back from her and called again only to get voicemail. I entered in the phone responses to get someone after hours and the customer service person informed me that the notes said my husband already had oxygen from a different company, and I cancelled the order. What???? There was no conversation about cancelling anything, and Joe definitely understood that was not the case. The customer service personnel were not local and said they would work to get it all back up and going again. I never heard back from her and am pretty sure at this point that I will not be getting any oxygen from this company for a bunch of days considering the weather forecast. I will update this review if I get any response from the customer service agent that in some very rough around the edges ways seemed like she maybe wanted to help. Joe acted nice too and still chose to cancel my order because she wanted to get home...I guess we will see.Update: National customer service, and the agent who seemed to be helping me came through tonight in a big way. Thank You! You restored my hope that there are still compassionate people out there. Seems small to some but encouragement for me today.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!! I KEEP RECEIVING ALL THE WRONG SUPPLIES FOR MY CPAP. I HAVE A RESMED AIR SENSE 10 BUT THEY KEEP SENDING ME SUPPLIES FOR A PHILLIPS DREAMSTATION. I CALLED THE 1ST TIME ANS THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO RESHIP ME A NEW ORDER FOR THE CORRECT PARTS, NEVER HAPPENED. THEN THIS NEW SHIPMENT IS THE SAME WAY!!!! WHEN I CALLED THE LADY IS TELLING ME I HAVE THE CORRECT ITEMS AND I DONT. EVERYTHING IS LABELED PHILLIPS NOY RESMED!!! I CANT USE THE FILTERS, I CANT USE THE HOSE, THE FACEMASK IS INCORRECT!!!! TO HELL WITH IT! JUST CANCEL EVERYTHING I WILL NEVER USE THE. AGAIN!!

This operation has the very worst customer service I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Phone messages go unreturned and I have had to resort to threats and screaming to get any action. They are also useless unless you keep pushing them on things like logistics . If I had to start again from scratch, Apria would not even be in the running.

The MOST UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE EVER!!!!!!! I’m not sure how they stay in business! I’m just trying to help my mom with her oxygen and it take anywhere from 35 minutes to 1.5 hours to talk to someone! They have NEVER completed an order correctly!! Bad company! Don’t waste your time people. You have options!

Father changed insurance. Contacted these people in December of 2018. Contacted them again and informed them of insurance change in January. Started getting bills, this CPAP should be covered by insurance, talked to these people at least ten times since then. Every time they say they will fix it. Not fixed. Last bill I got I asked them what insurance they have for my father. They said they had no insurance, despite me informing them several times. He passed in June and I am still getting a bill from these people. Avoid.

I first submitted my prescription on December 5. Make sure everything was turned in, to be prepared for surgery I was having on my ankle. I followed up on December 12 to make sure insurance had processed my request as well as that Apria I had everything I needed from my doctor. I was assured my order was being processed and it was escalated so that it could deliver on December 13 to be ready in time for my surgery on December 14. On December 13 I received a call saying my delivery would happen between the hours of three and seven PM. But nothing was delivered. I called that evening, and was told they did not know why it didn’t deliver, but my order would be sent to logistics and it would be delivered sometime that night. I never got a call from logistics. I had surgery on 1214 Still did not receive a call or my order. My insurance has been billed for this product, it’s now day two after surgery and I still don’t have a walker or means of getting around my house. I had Faith after speaking to three supervisors, that my order truly had been escalated and would be delivered. Not once have I gotten a call back from Apria or any explanation as to why my product was never delivered. I’ve sent several emails to Customer Service, which remain unanswered. I am unable to walk for four weeks, and have no means of getting around, I’ve called every day for the past week trying to get this order for filled and spoken to people on the phone for an hour at least every time. Still no word on if or when I will ever get the equipment I require to be able to move in my home. I have two young kids and no means of moving to help them.

With all the bad reviews here, I have to share my experience.Needing a provider for a new cpap but as I travel extensively for my job, I need a provider with nationwide access for supplies, etc. Id had positive experience with Apria before (plus Im a former Apria employee) and I read the reviews of this office before making my choice. Ill admit I was very apprehensive about choosing Apria. Maybe my experience was rare, but I will say that so far I could not be happier with my choice.From the time my doctor sent the order to them to my first contact with someone from the office (Leeanne) was maybe 2 days. Leeanne kept in communication with me right up to our appointment for her to set me up with my machine. She was right on time for our appointment and she couldnt have been nicer. This young lady is a shining star for Apria. Super nice, knowledgeable and professional. BIG THUMBS UP from me!!

To date Ive had to deal with this totally incompetent outfit for 79 days. I can never get them to answer the phone to reorder supplies for my negative pressure wound vac. Never. The irving texas office just does not answer their phones and their interactive voice response system is designed to funnel you there relentlessly. And their corporate office cant get them to pick up even on their private back line. The only way I can get a hold of them is to have their corporate email them and direct them to call me. This is absolutely the worst customer service I have every encountered. Or even known to exist. Not even overstating. In fact you cannot overstate how bad their service is. Words are inadequate. And I have read their BS responses to all the other reviews. How offensive. This alone is a confirmation of how bad their service is. And their corporate customer service knows it. Its so bad I am sure they hear about it all day every day. Today I called them 7 times and spent 90 minutes trying to get through. In the end it was the same stop point. Corporate customer service tried to get them on the phone for 31 minutes. Finally they gave up and did the email. At least thats what they said. My hold times were 14 minutes, 18 minutes, 13 minutes and again 13 minutes. Then 31 minutes with corporate. Guess what, I still dont have my supplies ordered. The service is offensive.

Have had two appointments. Was seen on time and the respiratory therapist was great. Had trouble adapting to CPAP and they changed my equipment no issues. Also, they text and call if I am not using enough. I could only manage an hour a night before throwing it down. They have been great.

What a mess. First they kept saying they didnt get the prescription sent to their fax, we had to call the drs office multiple times to refax even when it reported successful. Then we had to call our insurance company to help. Then Apria says we havent met our individual deductible so this was going to cost us hundreds out of pocket. Bull. Then they added they were out of stock, had no more equipment. So, after several days of this mess, we gave up. We found what we needed elsewhere.

Arrived w/out an appt to p/u an in- home ox concentrator for a CA relative visiting over the holidays. The receptionist could not have been nicer. The tech (Dave) arrived w/the machine w/in 5 min and I was on my way after signing the forms. Total time was about 10 minutes. GOOD JOB FOLKS, and THANK YOU!

DO NOT USE APRIA HEALTHCARE!!! This company has scammed us on more than one occasion, and I have filed with the BBB to cite them. We got a CPAP machine from them and were supposed to pay only $30 a month for a year on the machine. They verified our insurance and said all supplies are covered at 100% My husband knew right away he couldnt sleep in the mask or with the machine. I called to do a return and they explained we couldnt return it unless we had tried at least 2 masks. I reluctantly agreed. We got the next mask and again, he couldnt use it so we returned it to this location. The girl didnt even want to give me a receipt saying we had returned it. Thankfully I got a hand written receipt saying we had returned the machine and 2 masks. Next thing we know we are getting a bill for nearly $400! They falsely charged us for a compressor that is inside the machine, plus 2 masks and tubing and 2 months of the rental fee! They eventually removed the compressor charge because those CANNOT be removed from the machine, so why were we charged in the first place!?! But they refuse to remove the charges for the 2 masks and the tubing. I would have kept those items and given them to my mother or brother who both have a CPAP machine if I was going to pay for them. Also, they got us by insuring we kept the machine long enough to get charged an additional month by REFUSING the initial return. This place is SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!

This is one sorry company. Never can through on customer service line, the people answering phone are clueless, and I cant get any help ever!!!! Have changed companys and have to wait over 2 weeks for them to come get their equipment from my home!!!! I would never recommend them ever!! I was in need of a scooter for my foot surgery, ordered it beginning of Nov. I called several times and spoke to many people still havent received it. Had my surgery Nov 23rd Im completely healed now they call me at the end of Feb to say my equipment is ready!!! I dont need it now! They are rude and not helpful, even tried to speak with a supervisor that didnt help either. Im reporting them to UnitedHealthcare who referred them to me.

Please BELIEVE all of the NEGATIVE reviews you see and read about Apria Healthcare! I can’t stress this fact enough. If you want to waste WEEKS of your time, spend hours on the phone, feel the FRUSTRATION of being transferred over and over, give the same info over and over to each new person you are transferred to about why you are calling, and the final straw….have your hour long transferred call be dropped to hear only a dial tone, then this IS the company you want. My goal was simply to get set up with a cpap machine for the first time after a sleep apnea diagnosis. Apria received a call and prescription order from my Doctor’s office for this well over 2 weeks ago. (After reading other reviews, I see there are other folks who have been through this mill that is Apria much longer than me. I should have taken heed of all of the negative reviews when I first saw them, but no, I plodded on.) Well plod no more people, in fact DO NOT CALL, START AN ORDER, OR REQUEST ANYTHING from this ridiculous excuse for a medical supply company….and most especially if your life and health or the one you love depends on it!

This is by far the worst equipment company I have ever dealt with and I have worked in healthcare for more than 15 years all over the entire country. If they could have negative stars I would gladly give them to this company. They are causing my family member to have to stay in the hospital longer because the order is processing but he cannot go home without the equipment needed for maintaining his airway/keeping him from dying. They would not let me talk to a supervisor and only said they are waiting for insurance approval for the equipment. They have had the order for 4 days now and told the hospital that everything was approved already. If they were not the only company in the area that had the necessary and specific equipment he needed, I would have never agreed to use this company. They are a sorry excuse for a company that should be providing exceptional care to people who are sick and injured, but instead they are causing more injury to the patients including forcing them to stay hospitalized for much longer than they need to be. If you have a choice, RUN away from this company. I look forward to speaking to anyone from Apria about my concerns since I was not allowed to speak to anyone with any sort of authority on the phone....but my thoughts on the matter may still be processing.

Avoid Apria Healthcare if possible. October 2016 I purchased through Apria & Blue Shield Insurance a new CPAP machine. On November 2016 Blue Shield and I paid off the CPAP in Full! Then suddenly 8 months later Apria starts rebilling me for the same CPAP machine. Since they have my credit card they billed my credit card. I called APRIA several times. The hold times were usually 1 hour for the billing department. Apria representatives say that the account is paid in full so they do not know why I am being billed. Apria has not credited my account for the overbilling. Instead they keep billing me. This happened to me in 2010 and 2011. Apria owed me I believe $1,500 and it took two years to get my refund. Stay away from them. Watch your bills too. I have caught them over billing me to as per my health insurance company statements.

Equipment was to be picked up today between 2 & 6. It is now 8:22pm and equipment is still here ! Went through same thing when equipment was delivered months ago. They showed up that day at 8:15pm. Worst customer service ever. !!!! Use another company!

Charged me $200 for equipment I returned, claimed I never returned it, gave me some bs about it being something insurance didnt cover after the third person I spoke to couldnt help me — oh, and this bill came 6 months after the fact. Very shady — avoid!

Purchased machine there they have no record. I have the paperwork from my doctor who referred me there and complain. The transaction was in this year. People there are not too customer oriented.
