We were disconnected from monitoring by Grande when we switched our service. The Vector reconnection experience was 5 stars. We had a great tech who found the problem and got us up and running quickly.Unfortunately, getting an appointment to reconnect took longer than it should have. When we called in for support it was clear that the goal was to upgrade us to a more expensive option rather than fix the issue. They tried.

I reached out to Vector to terminate my contract due to the ineffectiveness of their equipment. Texas is coming off of rolling black outs and its still pretty cold here. Vector has locked me out of the APP and I can not control my thermostat which means I can not heat my house where my 70 mother lives me. However, I am not locked out of the payment side of their system. You may ask why not just control the temp from the thermostat well because it has no power as well. It always goes out and the only way to regulate the temp is via the phone. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

We have used Vector Security for the past 6 years and been 100% satisfied with their service. Our residential alarm system has had 1 issue over that time period (low battery, so not a Vector issue) and because of our maintenance plan, the issue was resolved within 24 hours. Additionally, the technician checked all of our equipment and sensors when he visited to replace the battery to make sure everything was secure. Easy 5 star review.

He enlightened me a lot on my sky bell doorbell and vector app this morning when he came out. He walked me through things quickly, and and helped me to figure out how to use my app for effectively, as well. I highly recommend Vector!

It’s been a nightmare dealing with vector security since they installed surveillance system at my house. Firstly, the technician Ed installed the backyard camera way too high and out of range. It took them weeks to come out and fix it after we had called them numerous times. Then we had low battery on the panels and again took them weeks to come out and attend to this issue. Their technical support sucks and I am regretting doing business with them. I would strongly recommend potential customers to stay away from vector security.

The service is horrible... I repeat do not do not start service with them. the cameras no show up ....They said they will come after 4 day. They didnt come and no excuse to not send someone to come fix it. their technicians to look. So lazy and you can tell they just don’t care about their customers.

The technician (Casey) who worked on our system was excellent. He was knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Did an excellent job.Today, March 17th, our security system was worked on by Jason. He was on time and he quickly identified the problem with the system. Jasons work was timely, professional and effective. In addition, he was very courteous and friendly. Just an outstanding job!

Vector security has been very attentive and professional every time I have had them out. I highly recommend them. We have a set of 4 townhouses and the video cameras video doorbells and the electronic locks that controll alarm system are fantastic. Our tenants love the app and the security that is provided.

I had one of the most amazing experience this morning with my Vector representer. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and customer service focus. He willingly took time to not only correct the issue but made sure other enhancements were shared so I could get additional benefits from my security system. If I had to rate 1 out of 10 with 10 being superb. I would definitely give him 10.He is definitely an access to your company.

Had an alarm go off for an unknown reason and could not turn it off by using the keypad. Called Vector and was advised how to stop the alarm. Service Tech to the house the same day who replaced a component and verified the system was operational. Couldnt be happier and very pleased with responsiveness to address this problem by Vector...

Vector has been nothing but a great security system. The ease of access from the phone app, live video streaming from the camera, and personalized notifications that allows me to know who exactly armed or disarmed our system. All of the features and custom settings are great!The installer was also a great dude. Very personable and took his time, well past 6 oclock in the evening to stay and explain how to use everything from the control panel to the app. A few weeks after it was installed, I had a question on a Saturday evening and called the support line. They said they would have to have the on-call tech call us. Just a few minutes later, I received a phone call from the same tech that did my installation and he took his time to answer my question over the phone!I would recommend Vector to everyone. A great price for top of the line home security with fantastic support, you will not be disappointed!

I’m really disappointed with this company I got their service with them back in October from this year I got their plan with the door bell and the cameras and I never got my cameras installed they told that they where going to send someone out never did I try contacting the owner he never Call me back so I’m canceling their plan with them 👎👎👎

So we have had vector for 4.5 years. Always been good till about 6 months ago. We called in a ticket to have our products looked at and batteries changed because of an email we got. Well 6 months later nada... then this past Thursday I called in a service ticket. They said they would get with me by the end of the day to schedule a time. I had multiple zones and smoke detectors not working. On Friday I called back. They said their service department was closed Saturday and Sunday. Funny I called Friday. My wife called at 4:46 pm and they said sorry service department is closed at 5pm central time. We still had 14 minutes to put a ticket in or talk to someone. How am I supposed to depend on someone to take care of my home if they dont follow up like they say they will. I might be changing after this year. Maybe they changed management or something. Just not the same anymore! Plus we wanted to look into other services like door bell and cameras. Not sure anymore

I hesitate to write reviews because they can seem disingenuous most of the time (at least to me). However, when such great service is rendered one needs to shout it out from the rooftop!I moved to my new home in Argyle 2 years ago, and signed up with Vector right away. They installed a wireless security system along with a doorbell camera. The system has mostly worked fine. And whenever there had been issues, Vector has always been quick to send someone out. But this isnt why Im writing this review...A month and half ago I found out that I have to relocate my family once again, and put my home up for sale. almost instinctively (this being my 5th move in 10 years) I went down the list of all of my subscription services that Im going to have to either cancel or transfer. Sure enough I made my way down to the security system. As much as it pained me to not have on demand access to my front door camera, and being able to let people in remotely from my phone, I knew I couldnt take my system with me to the corporate housing Im being relocated to.I spoke to the Vector office in irving, and immediately they offered options to me. Never did they try to hold my feet to the fire, and invoke the agreement I signed. Instead, they were my advocates through and through. In the end, they offered to reach out to the buyers to see if they would take over my service. And when I told them that I didnt know when the closing date would be, they continued to work with me. Ultimately Vector released me from my remaining obligations, and from what I heard from the new owners, the sales guys were so nice that they ended up signing with Vector anyways. Win-Win!

They do not respect their customers’ needs and concerns. They want to charge trip charges for “weekend service” when the issues should have been taken care of during the hundreds of weekdays the problems were called in to their offices. Literally a year’s worth of service issues and this is the final call. I dare you guys to try and hold us up to a contract. Our lawyers are going to get us every dollar we paid for your non existent services.

Nothing terrible to say about overall service, however, we are about to be stung by sneaky tactics. We signed up with them back when it was called Pelican Security. I was a little wary because of the 5 year contract, and this company is only located in a few states. However, the guy who sold us the system stated CLEARLY to us that if you move to a location that we dont cover, we will release you from the contract because obviously, there is no way you could use the contract. That is the ONLY reason I went with them as opposed to a national brand like ADT. Well, next month we are moving to a region they dont cover, and guess what, shocker, the person on the phone told me Oh Ive been here a long time, and Ive never heard of that.Luckily, we only have less than a year left on our contract and they so GRACIOUSLY are giving us a 25% discount on the remainder, so its not a huge cost. But, after doing more research, ALL companies basically offer the same products and services at the same cost. Therefore, Ive now learned there is NO reason to ever go with a non-national company like Vector. I would tell anyone never to use them when the national brands are just as competent, and you wont run into this issue where you have no ability to use their service/contract if you move to more than half of the states in the country.
