I worked with Stephanie today and she did an excellent job providing me with superior customer service! I was deciding over the two different frames and she gave me different options that best suit my current needs! She took her time to explain the differences. She answered all my questions and concerns regarding my insurance as well as Transitions features. I’m in love with the frames that I chose and I’m glad that I went to LensCrafters instead of choosing glasses from their competitor. Although I chose to do my eye exam earlier that day with their competitor I am now convince to do all my eye care needs with LensCrafters in the future due to this experience. Also, Austin did an amazing job greeting me and making me feel welcome as soon as I came into the store . He worked on my profile and was able to service me effectively. All the employees that I encountered were very pleasant and greeted me with genuineness and that goes a long way . I left the store feeling extremely satisfied with my purchase .Thank you again for the awesome experience!

This is the best experience I have had a LensCrafters, and I have been to many. All were great, but the individuals at this location all have such a positive attitude and are so helpful. I do not have enough words to express how kind and helpful Julie and Linda were. I came in with mutilated glasses and they tirelessly helped screw after screw to try and repair them until I can get in for a new prescription. These ladies are the perfect example of customer service. They are a great asset to the company, and I can only hope are rewarded for their commitment to serving the public. They deserve everything management can possibly do for them!! They went above and beyond for me tonight, and I walked out of there wearing my glasses that I thought were a lost cause.

I’ve visited various LensCrafters locations around Indy, but this one has become my favorite. I’ve had a consistent and positive experience every time, no matter who helps me!Last month, I came by looking for blue light filter glasses. Stephanie helped me find a pair of Ralph Lauren glasses that I LOVE and wear while I work on the computer all day. She was patient with me while I tried many different options and even called to ask how I liked them & see if I needed anything else a week or two later. She’s so sweet!On another day, I stopped by for a quick adjustment and was helped by Shay. In conversation, I mentioned that my glasses were getting fogged up when wearing a mask. He showed me their anti-fog spray and this has been a LIFESAVER... it’s honestly what drove me to write this review. I had no idea this product existed but it saves me from wiping my glasses off all day long!I’ll definitely be back to this store next time I need glasses or adjustments.

My Husband and I have bought glasses here for years, don’t think we will be dealing with “Julie”. Think we need someone a bit more responsible.

I went to the Castleton Square location and was immediately greeted and waited on. I had previously selected my frames. Stephanie took my measurements and adjusted the frames I was wearing. Ive been going to LensCrafters & Indiana Eye Doctors in Castleton for years now & I remain quite happy with them both. I always get a thorough & professional eye exam & the doctors always take the time to go over the results with me & answer my questions. And ditto for the eyewear technicians who assist you with selecting your frames & lenses. Most recently Dr. Fleckenstein did my eye exam & Rosezelle assisted me with frames & lenses, & I cant say enough good things about both of them. Very helpful, caring & both ensured my questions were answered & that I was happy with the service I received & the new glasses I selected.

Had a wonderful shopping experience with the help of the whole staff. With their help I was able to come away with a satisfied feeling that I had gotten the perfect glasses for my face but the only draw back is having to wait so long to get them.

The managers and corporate office are unresponsive to complaints. I wasted my time following along with the Response from owner here and received no response. Take your money elsewhere, dont pay for bad service.....Having been a customer of this location for well over a decade, I can say that it has done better and is going downhill. The effort they put into initially taking your money is vastly superior to following up and completing the purchase. I ordered two sets of glasses last month, Dec 2020.Two weeks later I didnt get notified that the first set was in, I just happened to call and find out. And the first pair order was wrong. Then I found the second pair was not due in yet, that the expected date changed....again. They never communicated this, any of the times the date changed. This went on for the month of January. Manager was not responsive, did not return call despite repeated requests. Im locked into this purchase, but it will be the last time I spend any $$$ here, especially over $700. AFTER OWNERS RESPONSE---Thank you for making me reach out to you AGAIN to address your problems. I know that having employees to do this kind of thing would be too much to ask, like store, general or regional managers. I wont hold my breath for the promised response in the next five days.

I had a great experience here Dr F was very nice and pleasant. She had patience with me and my 2 kids during the appt. The assistant manager and eye care specialist were very helpful with picking out my glasses and they also helped me with getting a non prescription pair of glasses with the anti blue light for my daughter which I didnt have to pay for. I didnt even know I was eligible for it so that was amazing. She ended up getting a Michael Kors frame too. Only downside I dont really care for the girls at the check in/out desk but other than that great experience.

I was greeted as soon as I entered the store. The staff was very helpful and continued to check with me as I tried on frames for quite a while. The sales staff was happy to give me their opinion on how I looked in the frames. I was very happy with their selection of frames. I found a frame that was on sale for half price, so I was very leased with the value.

Had a wonderful experience with Shay. He immediately came to my mother and I to help us out. He was extremely friendly. If you want someone who will not waste your time and knows what he is doing, go see Shay. He got us in and out less than an hour. Good eye Dr. Appointment was on time, quick and professional. Store staff was exceptionally helpful in finding me glasses after my eye exam. Not pushy, simply working through frame options based on my needs.

I saw Dr. Levack. Not only was she very kind but her level of expertise was easily apparent. I had been seeing an ophthalmologist due to glaucoma and had eye exams for visual acuity there. Never was happy with my vision. Dr. Levack did my exam and adjusted things thus I can see so very much better now. I teared up when I saw the results. Thank goodness I found Dr. Levack.

Due to their open authorization on my account, I was unable to have an appointment with a separate eye doctor. This is something they neglected to tell me. I kindly request that you do not give them your business.

Walked in to get an eye exam and purchase some glasses. Not one customer in the store and was treated like I didnt exist. I approached a guy in a white coat about an exam, he quoted $99 and said the frame and lenses would be extra. I walked around the store for another 10 minutes without any following up from the employees so I left. Im sure all of the employees talking trash about other employees was more import than helping someone.Dear management,Customer service should be the focus of your next training session. Your staff really needs help.

Always come back to this store. Not the cheapest, but always the best glasses. Never had a problem with the service. Have used this store 20 years or more.

Came into the store with intent to purchase eyeglasses today. We were never greeted or asked if we needed help once the entire time we were in the store. Spent about 30 minutes shopping and trying on glasses and found a pair of glasses to buy. We stood there waiting to see if anyone would help us. Three employees stood at the counter talking to each other and continued to ignore us. We finally had to ask the group of employees if any of them would like to make a sale. This was the only store we could shop at due to insurance, otherwise we would have purchased elsewhere. This is our second terrible experience in this store. Horrible customer service.

Fast, caring service, helped fit to my .face

Lost my original box, case and cleaning cloth. Came in a damaged box after 3 weeks. Pathetic service even when you pay them 700$ for glasses.

So far 1 month with only 1 contact in, orded my contacts from our muncie location and they closed down and told me that they sent them to the castleton location. called this palce and they informed me that they do not have the files from the muncie store yet (Which was 2 weeks after i ordered them) they said they still need an additional week just to get the files. waited a week and a half called back and then i was told they dont even have those files they were sent to the noblesvile location. Called them they told me that castleton was sent them. After telling them that I already talked to them they said the carmel location has them. I return to work soon and I highly doubt I will be getting and resolution from these people. I will never use a lenscrafters again. As wella s i will inform my family and friends to never use them.

We went with my husband to get new glasses hoping for same day service. His glasses had broken beyond repair a week prior and the earliest appointment we could get with his eye clinic was to be on May 17th and then he would need to wait another week for glasses.We came by bus 2-3 hour trip one way so it was completely out of our way, but we really wanted to get his glasses that day. We went on May 3rd, had his eyes examined and picked out a pair of glasses. We were going to get transitions but were told they wouldnt be able to be made there the same day so we opted out and said that we would take just the regular glasses.They went back into the lab to start the process and quickly came back out saying they didnt have the blank to make one of his lenses. Frustrated at finding out after spending around $500 on these glasses, coming so far just so that we could get same day glasses, I was not happy about having to come back a second time. We could have gone multiple different places and gotten 2 pair for much less. Because we were going to need to wait, we decided to go ahead and get the transition lenses made and left to go home. We were told they could be up to a week of waiting.I called a week later to see if the glasses were done. I was told that the same lens that they didnt have in stock for regular glasses was now on back order for the transition lens. They had a WEEK to have told me they didnt have the lens needed in stock. I let them know I was very disappointed that wed gone out of our way to get same day glasses and were now waiting more than a WEEK for them.They had the supervisor call me as they were out at the time that Id called. They told me that they could go ahead and make the non transition lenses and put them in a frame so that he would have a pair because theyd promised them to us earlier. I make another 3-5 hour bus trip to get them. I didnt bring my husband with me this trip due to the fact there was bad weather in the forecast and wed got caught with my husband in a wheelchair in the rain on the previous trip.A couple days later, they finally called saying that the glasses had arrived. This called for a THIRD trip to swap out the lenses in the frame so that he could FINALLY have his glasses that wed gone all the way more than a week previous hoping for glasses in ONE HOUR!If you have a strong prescription, I would NOT recommend going to Lens Crafters. We spent more than $500 after paying for transportation for 3 trips to finally get his finished glasses that wed originally hoped to save time and waiting for. 15 hours or more were wasted in travel time to and from home to their location while struggling on and off buses with a wheelchair. I was told, We cant carry every lens in stock to make glasses on site for everyone. I told them they needed to put that caveat in their ads so that someone may take the option of going somewhere else for less if theyre going to have to wait.I will NOT go back if we need glasses again. Ill go somewhere else or wait until I can get to my regular eye clinic.I will finish with the fact that the eye Dr and exam were thorough and they were very friendly and competent. If you want to get an exam and purchase you glasses elsewhere, I would recommend the Dr, but NOT the store.Very frustrated, and disgusted with the overall experience.

Helpful but often very busy.

For the first time in years, had a pair of lenses that bothered me. Brought the lenses back, money refunded, old lenses I kept replaced in my frames, no hassle. Even gave me new nose pads on my frames without me asking. I call that great customer service.Helpful note: You may be sensitive to what material your lenses are made from. I recommend asking what material your new lenses will be made from, and ask if it is different from your current lenses. If possibly a different material, ask about the possibile effects (e.g. the fishbowl effect), return & refund options in case it doesnt work out, and what you should do.Inviting store with lots of frame options, plus an onsite eye care clinic and onsite lens fabrication lab for glasses (even certain coated lenses I believe) made in about an hour. More unusual lenses usually take about 10 days I believe. After purchase, LensCrafters frames can also be tuned up for free at I believe any of the 1,000 or so LensCrafters locations across the nation, which can be very handy when travelling domestically.This location also reaches out to the local community by providing underprivileged children (and maybe adults also but not sure) free eye exams and eyewear. People in need are recommended for this outreach by local nonprofit organizations.On a global scale, LensCrafters (and perhaps their parent company) also offer a similar outreach abroad.
