Always very consistently clean, friendly staff and easy to find what you need!It never fails, even at this location, you get the friendly hello as you enter the store and it’s easy to find someone to point you in the right direction!Always a place to relaxed while travelling by being able to take a brief walk inside. Hours are also great as they open early and close late!

A-1 hardware store. Plus they sell groceries, home improvement, seasonal decorations, building supplies, and tools. Masks recommended.

Buyers beware! Menards would not issue a refund to me today on a $36 item even though the transaction had cleared the bank. They tried to push a merchandise credit instead . My purchase was made 5 days ago and clearly violates their 30 day refund policy. I have had this happen to me before even after clarifying their refund policy at the point of purchase. I will definitely not trust them anymore but will take ALL my business to Lowes and Home Depot where they treat you fairly.

Great Service and Prices. Helpful Knowledgable Staff is a big plus, they must have good training. Store is always well organized and clean. As in any Big Box Store be sure the items you buy will still be available if you need to replace part of it later. Such as flooring , gutters and etc.

Your home plants are a little expensive it might just be because of the season but overall I really like menards .

We love the store on 96th street... Neat, clean and well organized. We always go in for one or two things and wind our way through all the aisles and find so much more to buy. And the pricing is always affordable.

I went into this store the other day to get some items needed that the other hardware stores were not in stock with anymore. After going through the store for more than half an hour I then went to checkout. As soon as I began placing my items down the store manager, young blond woman, approached me about not wearing a mask and demanded I wear one or I couldnt get checked out. Mind you I had been walking around the store, uninterrupted, for more than half an hour. I told her that her store policy doesnt trump the LAW and that people with health conditions, where a mask would jeopardize them, are not required to wear them. She then stated that the law doesnt matter and only store policy does. I then asked if I could give them my card, while I leave the store, so they could checkout the products and bring everything out to me. She said they couldnt do that. The only other thing is that I order my stuff online and that could take them a half hour to an hour before delivering it to me at the back of the store for pickup, which doesnt make any sense considering I would have the online receipt instantly and my good are already together (a.k.a. manager intimidation). After a few minutes of discussion a mask was put on below the nose. I have spent several thousands of dollars in this store in years past and now Menards has completely LOST my business. I will be relaying to everyone I know about the horrible customer service this ONE manager gave and to urge everyone to go to Lowes or Home Depot instead, where their customer service is much better. The rest of the employees were fantastic but, unfortunately, the manager makes and breaks the business.

They do not stand behind their warranties. I usually buy used appliances for my rentals with no problems. Bought a brand new refrigerator from Menards with their extended warranty and literally made three (3) claims on the machine over five years, now 7 years later it is totally dead. All they did was change the seal and say its fine. So I got the hassle of three failures, spoiled food, wasted time, and now I get to buy a new machine. Wont be from Menards

So much of housing materials, better to go with rebets. Will take 30 days to claim rebets. It can be used to purchase products from Menards

Custom countertops are poor quality. The factory cut the biscuit joints wrong, at different heights so that the miter connections didnt line up. Also, the miter bolt slots did not line up on one of the miter joints. Mike the store manager did not provide good service either, failing to call me back like he promised to. It was all a time consuming bad experience.

Eddie in sinks was very helpful in answering all of my questions. He’s very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I appreciated him helping me.

I drive out of my way (past the Pendleton Pike location) for Castleton. Its fairly well stocked, and I usually can ask for help and get it so its staffed properly. I havent had a poor experience with their customer service yet I recollect so that is important to me. This is a busy location but its lot and street traffic lighting is sufficient to handle the volume.

Got what I needed. Store layout was different from the layout I am used to. Had to ask where a couple of things were. Got great directions.

Just moved to this area and we didnt have Menards, just the other two box stores. Will be coming to Menards from now on. Loved the different selections of wood.

Absolutely furious I do thousands of dollars a month in business with Menards but you better believe I will be taking my business elsewhere, went in for an advertised screen door was told to go upstairs there were 10 doors in the spot where the $106 price tag was listed when I get downstairs I was told the door was 250. Then was told to go find somebody else With no assistance wasted over an hour in the store looking for that somebody else. There should not be tons of product stacked underneath a price tag that does not fit it

Its a larger Menards and has more products . It has a very friendly and helpful staff.

My the lady I was with asked an older (60+ year old) names Bill about liquid nail type substance for a shower. He says not sure what isle but itll be on the left. She (and I) have no idea about any of this. But he told a lady a general vicinity and sent her on her way. There was 3 other staff members there and he said somewhere up and to the left he couldnt walk 4 isles up and help us w something we obviously knew nothing about. I was offended by this greatly definitely not to help a lady who came up and asked. This kind of behavior should be reprimanded. I will never go back to this menards because of the treatment by one man. We went and found someone else to describe our needs to and were graciously helped. Bill should not be fired but treating your costumers like that should never happened and he should be reprimanded.

Menards always has what I’m looking for and many times things I’m not looking for but they find their way into my cart. Helpful staff.

This particular trip was all items from the yard. I have to say they were the most exceptionally helpful staff Ive ever encountered. I had not choice but to arrive shortly before closing, and instead of being resentful for keeping them late, they were helpful in locating all of my items, even went and picked them up from the other side of the yard and loaded them for me. Wonderful experience, and kudos to them!

Lowes is a great place for home improvement... But they are much more. My trip today was for my cats favorite dry food. (..and a 12 pack of pop..not for my cats 😁)

Why is it that you can never find help in this place? It even feels that workers here turn around quickly and head in the other directions when they see someone with a questions. Very frustrating. My guess is that the store wants people to search and search for what they came in for in the hopes youll find more stuff to buy.

Visit several times a week. They have struck the right balance between safe and crazy during covid19. Started giving them preference due to their great lumber yard, but now theyre my go to place for almost all home improvement.

Save BIG money at Menards is true to its word. However.... I cant speak to the in-store customer service, because I cant ever find an associate. I spend lots of money in this store and cant EVER find anyone to help me with my pre purchase inquiries. That is a problem, you must do a better job of meeting customers need.The cashiers are always kind and helpful.

This store has pretty much everything you need and what you would expect from a Menards. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful (picking up a pallet of garden stones was way easier than expected). No complaints so far (multiple purchases this year for home, garden and workshop)

Best hardware store out there..

Was told on the way in i needed to have a mask in order to enter...then that the masks were available for 1$ (after i waited in a line). wouldnt be writing this negative review if the masks were being offered at cost, rather than for a perceived profit...i know each business is doing the best they can with the current situation, protecting their employees etc, but again, likely the disposable masks arent being offered at cost.

You never have to try to find somebody at Menards and they know where stuff is and how to use it. Other places I can never find somebody and there is always a huge wait. Big plus for me is they are taking Covid-19 seriously! Its a nice change of pace.

They have everything, unfortunately they didnt have the exact storm door I am looking for.

Since COVID19 I have used there order pickup several times. Website easy to use and you get emailed receipt and any rebate receipts. Cannot use them to pull large items like lumber. You must npull your self but you can still avoid having to go through checkout with online ordering. I prefer most of their inventory and prices over the other big box home stores.

I was expecting there would be some kind of Holiday lights strings still available but shelves were mostly empty , I grabbed whatever I could.

I used to prefer menards over all other lumber/hardware stores but since the pandemic they have lost my business and respect due to their overbearing mask policy.

RIDICULOUS Customer service. I own a business, have spent over 100,000 dollars throughout the years. My wife had spinal surgery so she cant walk long distances. I ask if they could just let her in the garden center. No one was able to do that. Sometimes discretion is needed. There are NO laws stating you cannot go in an outside entrance. You have officially lost my business. That is an ADA violation

The prices are not on expensive. The 11% off is a good deal if you are making a large purchase. The postage and the form is a hassle. Lowes has online rebate, which makes it convenient, and no postage.

I ordered online then get to the store. The online pick up is the farthest back corner. Then find out the items were u pick which means they werent ready for me. They were out in stock just like they would be if I hadnt already ordered and paid for them. Not happy. I ordered online so I wouldnt have to wonder around looking.

We needed a cart for plywood. The associate I contacted told me at this time of day, they are hard to find. I found one anyway and when we rolled the plywood out to our truck, there were no less than 10 in the parking lot that needed to be brought back into the store. I understand that things are difficult right now however, if I as a customer, cannot get a cart for my purchases, I will go to Lowes, or Home Depot; and I happen to like shopping at Menards.

The staff (in multiple departments) were VERY not helpful. They seemed put out by my asking for assistance (its not like I can mix my own paint). The lumber selection was not good either. The boards they had were very twisted and warped. I do have to say that they have a killer Christmas department though.
