My experience with Bella Indy was great . I vaguely described what I was looking for and was completely blown away with what was presented to me! The advice and service I was provided was wonderful. The online showroom feature is going to be extremely nice as I have bridesmaids all over the country. I highly recommend!

Deena is really amazing and so helpful. I cant wait to come here when its my special day. I got a great dress and the bridal party had so much fun bonding and trying everything on. Ive been to other shops for previous weddings or shopped online. This is the best experience and worth every penny. We saved so much time and to have a fun and zero stress shopping experience is priceless.

Dina and the Bella Indy team not only helped us pick beautiful dresses for each of my girls, but made the entire experience easy & enjoyable! I wanted everyone to be able to try on the dresses before buying and Bellas made it happen - even with a few girls living in different states.

Ordered a dress in March, they measured me wrong. Got my dress back in June way to big 2 sizes, and since dresses are made to order they will not exchange it or pay for alterations. Very disappointed with the services.

Bella’s has made my wedding experience an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! Initially, I was delighted to see that they had the exact dresses that I was looking for but when the dresses came back, the problems started. My bridal party consists of 16 ladies. Out of 16 ladies, 2 dresses came back that were sized correctly. They only allowed curbside pickup so everyone had to travel to Broad Ripple to get their dresses, go all the way home to try them on and then call back to make an appointment to try it on in the store. What an inconvenience? I understand that minor alterations will be needed but to get dresses taken in a size or 2 is unacceptable. I took my daughters dress to alterations and without me mentioning Bella’s, the seamstress immediately says “who measured this? She is 2 sizes smaller than this dress”. Mind you, my daughter is very petite. How could someone mess up her measurements? That is infuriating to say the least. My bridal party paid almost $300 for these dresses and to have to pay for major alterations on top of this is completely unacceptable. One of the bridesmaids made an appointment for her dress which they claimed to be defective 😂. They reordered the dress for her and told her that if it’s not here in time for the wedding, they will pay for alterations on the other one yet they kept the dress and the new dress they ordered was 4 sizes smaller. Was the dress defective or were they incompetent? I’m almost guaranteeing the latter. Another bridesmaid made an appointment and they told her they would not assist because she lost too many inches. Mind you, her intention was not to lose weight so again, I don’t believe this. BRIDES, if you don’t want your wedding to be a disaster, please don’t go to Bella’s. I sure wish I had of read the reviews prior to choosing dresses from here because on top of the dresses costs, my bridesmaids are paying between $70-$140 to get alterations done to their dresses. If there is anyone above Dina who I can speak to, please reach out to me.

Dina, the owner, goes out of her way to help everyone find the perfect look. She is so knowledgeable about every designer. You can tell everyone who works at this store is passionate about serving their clientele. I had an especially good experience with the lead stylist, Lenie. She was so attentive and helpful. I absolutely recommend Bella for a wonderful bridesmaid dress shopping experience.

This place is a joke!! I called them last week and told them I needed a bridesmaid dress...I informed them of the wedding date, dress color, etc. and the lady said they were limited on inventory, but they still would have some options available for me and continued to make an appointment with me. We set up the appointment for 1 o clock 6/15/21 and they decided to call me 7 minutes before my appointment (as Im already pulling into the parking lot) to inform me that there were no dresses in that color and wanted to cancel my appointment. She said she was hoping to catch me before I was on my way.... Im sorry but a 7 minute heads up WAS NOT ENOUGH!! I was already in the parking lot, as I am responsible and actually show up to my appointments ON TIME!! Bella Bridesmaids is extremely unprofessional and they clearly like to waste peoples time and gas! Would highly NOT recommend!!

TL;DR Make sure you know their rules for an appointment (credit card # , confirm your appointment, COVID guidelines) and youll be great.Read a lot of reviews about being an inconvenience here and was very afraid, but even after changing my appointment several times and having to have a couple appointments anyways, they always treated us kindly and responded quickly. There are definitely different personality types that work here and I can see how people might take it the wrong way, but I never felt like I was an inconvenience to Bella Bridesmaids. They gushed over some of the dresses with us and were down to earth about if the bridesmaid dress would match my wedding dress (having that input was nice!). The process of picking out the dress was pretty smooth with each of the girls trying on different dresses and swapping them. Even when we didnt like the first few, our Bella rep still helped us find some other ones that fit the same style and we ended up finding the perfect one. I would definitely recommend coming here as the boutique is super cute and the process was well organized.

Dina is the best!! She was so helpful when I was indecisive about dresses, very knowledgeable about the designers and how they make their dresses and helped me choose dresses based on my party’s body types! My only complaint is some associates aren’t as welcoming as others. Overall, very grateful to work with them as an indecisive bride!!

Bella Bridesmaids of Indy was the best experience Ive ever had when it comes to finding my wedding partys attire. They were so gracious, took the time to show us lots of options and even recommended other colors and styles that I had not considered. My bridesmaids all felt so comfortable trying on their dresses and we ended up getting everyones dresses there! We would never go anywhere else! If you are looking for the royal treatment, make sure to go to Bella Bridesmaids Indy!

I was nervous to shop in-person during the COVID spike, but Bella really made me feel safe with all of the precautions they have in place and holding everyone in the store to the regulations! Plus they have an amazing selection of dresses Ive never seen anywhere else, so I will definitely recommend my friends to go there when it is their turn to get dresses! Loved the selection of style of dresses for my bridesmaids. However, was disappointed with the sample sizes available to try on. When I shopped for my wedding dress, the sample size was around a size 10 in most stores. Here, my bridesmaids had much smaller sizes to try on (2-6). Makes it embarrassing when someone who is thin, but not a 2-6, cannot even put a dress on at all. More size inclusivity please!

BEST BRIDESMAID DRESS SALON EVER! I felt very welcome and safe shopping for my bridal party. So many options and the customer service went above and beyond! Planning my wedding during COVID has been so stressful but not when it came to my bridesmaids dresses. They took care of every thing! Highly recommend!!!

If I could put 0 stars I would. I wish I would have read the reviews before I visited the store with my bridesmaids.During our visit, we all felt like an inconvenience for being there. They were less than accommodating to our wishes.As the store requires you to provide your credit card to hold your appointment, I attempted to contact the store numerous times over a two week period and never received an answer, to which they then blamed me for.After expressing concern about the way we were treated, the unprofessionalism continued in an extremely rude email stating they were more than accommodating to me due to the fact I did not give them my credit card (again, I tried numerous times with no answer in their stores) and either way, I would have never imagined this would give them a reason to be so extremely rude and dismissive towards us.I was very excited to visit the store as I knew they carried the exact color I was looking for, I will be taking my business somewhere that may actually want my business.

I would like to state that this review is not a reflection of the store itself or the selection they have, rather a direct result of the customer service we received and the environment that was created at our appointment. From the early stages of setting up our appointment we were met with disrespectful and condescending behavior. Although our group made sure to arrive early to our appointment and follow all of their COVID guidelines, we were still treated as an inconvenience. First they claimed that our appointment was given away to another party because we didn’t confirm our appointment, which was a blatant lie. No other party showed up while we were there, nor did they scramble to “reschedule” someone. What’s frustrating is that we were never given instructions over the phone when making the appointment about needing further confirmation or a follow up.Even while looking past that, the attention we were given at the appointment was rushed at best. It was evident that they were solely motivated by their desire to sell us dresses in our highest price limit. Eventually, they corralled us into trying on 5-6 dresses that they themselves selected. We have a beautifully diverse group of ladies and there was little effort on their behalf to account for our needs or wants. At the end of the appointment when our measurements were taken, there were snide remarks about our bodies or “lack there of”. There is no justification for shaming someone’s body type, whether it was intentional or not. No one should be made to feel as if their body is inadequate or difficult. To say that we left feeling disrespected and discouraged is an understatement. It’s an experience we wouldn’t wish on anyone.

I have purchased two dresses from Bella and they are both beautiful and high quality. So glad to have Bella in Indianapolis!

Your wedding day is supposed to be one of the best and exciting days of your life. We went to Bella Bridesmaids to look for bridesmaid dresses for my friends wedding and the way we were treated was incredibly disappointing. We showed up a few minutes early for our appointment with 7 girls. We waited about 10-15 minutes because the people before us were wrapping up, which was totally fine. We tried on several different styles and my friend was trying to decide between two different dresses for all of us. We were never told the appointment would only be an hour long. So after everything, we were told none of the bridesmaids could be measured and we would have to come back. We all live almost 2 hours from the store and there wasnt even anyone waiting after us. When we walked out, the store was empty aside from one woman looking at gowns on her own. I cannot believe the owner sat there and let us walk out of the store without purchasing our dresses when noone was even waiting after us. So disappointing and we will be ordering our dresses somewhere else.

I was needing to get fitted/order a dress for my SIL’s wedding. Called the Indy store as it is the closest location for me to visit during the pandemic. However, this store isn’t willing to allow their sister-store customers to come in simply to try on/get fitted because I wouldn’t be ordering through them. I understand they need to serve their customers first but one would think helping a sister store during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC would also be important. Will not recommend this location to anyone. Very disappointed.

I went here with four other bridesmaids to find dresses for sisters wedding. Im actually decreasing my previous rating. The store is adorable, and the lady we worked with was very sweet. The other four found dresses easily. However, this was an awful experience for me. Now, part of why it was awful is that Im not happy with my body right now. Thats on me. However, the store had one dress to try in a size 14 and one dress to try in a 16. Thats it. I wasnt able to truly try on different dresses and see what I liked. Adding the bit of fabric in the back for trying things on is (a) embarrassing and (b) doesnt help. The size 16 was definitely too large, and the lady said I should go with the 14. I was frustrated and emotional about the process and took her word. Truthfully, I needed a 15 (which doesnt exist, I know). But it wouldve been much easier to take the dress in than to stress about having someone let it out. Luckily it was able to be done. I only needed it a smidge bigger. But I didnt feel that Bellas provided me with adequate options or advice when it came to selecting a dress for my sisters big day.

Needs to have more of a variety of sizes for bridesmaids to actually TRY ON. You ‘claim’ you carry sizes from 0 to 30 but don’t have any variety of sizes to try on IN STORE. Kinda ridiculous 🤷🏻‍♀️

This was my second time at Bella Bridesmaids, but my first time trying on dresses. We had Kathleen helping us, and she was so easy to work with throughout our appointment! She really listened to the bride in our group and helped make her vision a reality. The store is small, but its by appointment only, so theres plenty of room for two groups to be there at the same time.

The best cake I ever tried and the most expensive by the way. But the price worth it. I just gave them 4 star because its expensive.

I was on the cancellation list and when I got the phone call I was ecstatic! While it is a small shop there were so many dresses to choose from and we were treated superbly. We had a wonderful time and just want to thank you for taking the time to work with us and cannot wait for the junior bridesmaid/flower girl appointments in March!

While not having much luck at other stores, my party and I were recommended to Bella Bridesmaid for additional options. Upon driving to the location (approx 6pm) we realized that the store closed soon (7pm) and we needed an appointment. A girl in my party called the store and made an appointment for 6:30. We were aware the store closed soon. We arrived before 6:30 and were greeted with distaste and annoyance by the consultant and it was clear she did not want to meet with us. After looking at a few dresses, and even attempts to make small talk with the consultant, we found one dress that we liked and wanted to try on. The consultant quickly told us that we would need a ‘real’ appointment if we wanted to try it on. We only had that one dress in mind, and it would’ve taken 5 minutes for one of us to try on. After the abrasive comment and the clear indication that we were not welcome we left the store. It was 6:35. I’ve never had such awful customer service in a retail store. When working with multiple schedules it’s hard to find a date that actually works for everyone and knowing this was one of our only chances to get together made this an even worse experience. There are plenty other bridal shops in Indy with great customer service (sophia’s, nancy’s, the wedding studio) I would not recommend going to Bella.

The ladies at Bella Bridesmaid Indy made me feel like I was their best friend the entire time I was there. I happened to stumble across them one day when I was panicking because I didnt think I would be able to find a dress for my best friends wedding in the time I needed. It was perfect. Everything about my experience was perfect. I cant wait until my day comes and I get to use them for my wedding party. They are absolutely wonderful!

After doing quite a bit of looking for Bridesmaid Dresses in Indy and the surrounding areas, my girls and I came to Bella Bridesmaid on a Saturday. We had made an appointment and worked one-on-one with Kathleen. She was seriously beyond great. Such a unique and personal experience. She listened to me and provided suggestions without being the least bit pushy. What a great overall experience and not to mention the gowns are gorgeous!

I feel so lucky that I was able to get my bridesmaid dresses at Bella Bridesmaid Indy! From the moment we walked into the shop, Kathleen and Melissa made my girls and I feel so special and beautiful. Oh and holy cow their dress selection was amazing. I walked in with just a vague idea of what I wanted, and Kathleen and Melissa were experts at helping me narrow down my search. These girls helped me find the perfect dress of my dreams in just under an hour (and this was after a total of 10 hours in 4 other shops coming up short). I wish that every bride had the pleasure of working with these fine ladies. It truly was my best experience planning my wedding.

Fabulous experience getting a bridesmaid dress there for my younger daughter. My daughter really appreciated that they gave her privacy in the dressing room to get into the dresses she tried on and waited until she came out to clip them down to size.The dress came in sooner than expected and we received great personalized service each time we went in.

Wow, all I can say is wow. After a horrific experience with my hometown bridal store, Chiffon in Lafayette, I called Bella Bridesmaids 3 weeks out from my wedding in a panic because it turned out I wouldnt have any of my bridesmaid dresses. The owner booked us an appointment for the very next day and assured us she could help. My 3 bridesmaids and I drove down and were amazed with the wonderful customer service and kindness we received. Not only did we end up buying all our dresses that day, we got to take them home and are able to start alterations, with 3 weeks before the wedding. Plus, all three dresses were within my wedding colors. THANK YOU Bella Bridesmaids from the bottom of our hearts, you were truly a lifesaver for my wedding. 100% recommend!

The dress was fine, but the customer service here was highly disappointing and frustrating. I had a better experience at Davids Bridal for my last bridesmaids dress. We were told we would be contacted when the dresses arrived in the store, but had not heard anything 3 weeks past when they should have been in. Upon calling, we found out that the dresses had been in the store for a month, but we simply werent notified. The representative said we must have all put our email addresses in the system incorrectly (even though we all had received confirmation emails when we paid). I also paid $25 for shipping, and had to call again to have the dress shipped.Update: Once the problems were pointed out to the owner, she was very responsive and worked to improve the situation and our experience as a whole.

Stopped in to look at dresses and the employees were extremely rude to me and my bridesmaids. I was really upset because this store had a lot of the brands I was interested in but I will gladly take my business elsewhere.

I chose my bridesmaids dresses in Sept. Of 2015 for my wedding in July of 2016. In Oct. my Maid of Honor found out she was pregnant and we prayed that the dress would fit her after she delivered. 2 weeks before the wedding she had her little boy and the dress was 5 inches away from zipping. She went to Bella on a Friday, of a holiday week, and they were closed. The owner saw her trying to come in and allowed her to come in and find a dress that would fit her for my wedding. The owner recognized my MOH from the year before and knew that she had ordered her bridesmaid dresses there too! She allowed my MOH to exchange the dress and pay the difference. Her hard work and customer service was amazing and made me, as the bride, so grateful. I will recommend Bella Bridesmaids to anyone looking for bridesmaid dresses.

Kathleen (the owner) is a lovely woman that true cares about taking care of her customers. I had an unfortunate event in where the bridesmaid dress I thought I ordered was never actually ordered by the store due to some miscommunication. This incident was not found out until 6 weeks before my friends wedding. Naturally I was at a panic about having a dress. Kathleen worked with the manufacturer to not only get me a dress for the wedding but THE dress I had originally ordered. Her efforts were above and beyond what would be expected of the store given the circumstance. I was vey please with my end result and the dress fit wonderfully!

Already stated: Kathleen and her employees are wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable. Also: They have a huge selection of dresses, and every dress can be ordered in ivory or white.As far as the type of bride you are, this shop caters to all, but its perfect for low-maintenance, non-traditional brides. All sorts of designs, and the store is not pretentiously priced. Youll remember the experience for the rest of your life if you choose this perfect shop.
