My mother brought her 09 escape in to have her brakes fixed and a couple other issues looked at. The guys here were awesome. She mainly dealt with Reggie. Awesome guy! I was looking for a place to get some repairs done quickly and went to ASG. I was able to drop off my car overnight and ASG had my repairs done by the next day. The staff was extremely professional, keeping me up to date in the process as well as providing an overall inspection. I really appreciate the fast turnaround and professional service.

I own a 70 MG Midget and I had no brakes. Most repair shops will not even touch my vehicle but ASG said yes no problem. My brake line connection was lose and they fixed. My brakes are the best they have ever been and repair cost was very reasonable. Very happy with ASG and would recommend! I will be back!

This place severely price gouges the cost of parts. My car was running rough and the positive reviews made me decide to go. Honestly I cant complain about the quality of the service and how they took care of me and my car. However, when I got the call after diagnostic, I couldnt believe the price I was given. I had new spark plugs only a few months prior and thought I might have gotten a bad one so I had already purchased replacements. They refused to use the ones I already had and told me I actually needed one ignition coil but the spark plugs were fine. I also needed rear brakes and offered to do them too while they had the car. In hindsight, I shouldve refused service and just pay them for the diagnostic but I didnt want to look for another shop as I didnt have time to do that. They replaced my still new plugs and charged me more per plug than I paid for an entire pack of the top dollar plugs at AutoZone. The coils were worse. You can get them online for around $75 if you know where to look and I was charged $750 for 4 when I only needed one to begin with. All in with the rear brake job, I paid over $2000. Like I said, I didnt have time to shop around which is the only reason I agreed to the price. After picking up my car, the battery light came on. They looked at it and said I would need a new one and it would cost another $900. When I refused they said they recharged it and no more light. After speaking with friends and family about how bad I got ripped off, they said I should go back and see what planet they got the prices from. The front desk supervisor acted very concerned and said they would do anything to make me a loyal customer. When I gave real numbers for what the parts shouldve been and how what they are doing is price gouging, he gave me a BS story about how they use top quality parts that exceed OE specifications. I responded with asking to see their invoices to prove that what I was charged was a fair markup and if not I want half my money back because thats how bad I got ripped off according to what I know about the cost of the parts. Both requests were refused. I understand that businesses need to make a profit so a small markup is understandable on parts but I dont consider tripling and quadrupling the price to be a fair markup and if they are really paying that much for parts then they are getting ripped off and passing it down to their customers.

1st off, they were reccomended by my custom tuner shop. That said, theyre very attention to detail oriented. (Love that). Also love that they are gear heads (not just wrench turners) so they know pretty much anything you could ask. Scott is an amazing service technician. Tells you like it is without sugarcoating so you know what can wait and what needs done asap to keep you rolling down the road SAFELY. Reggie is another gem. His mechanical knowledge of my Infinity g35 was impressive. Still waiting on their team to put together a build guide/part list for when I decide to turbo the car (which will be going through them most likely) Also a bit on the pricey side for repairs but I dont blame them. Theyre not working on your standard Kia and working on high end vehicles, requires proper knowledge (specialty training) and the tools to get the job done. Will definitely use them again. Especially in diagnosis, best in the biz. Thanks guys!

I was in need of some very necessary repairs on my 09 Cadillac CTS. And, a new auto service provider. I decided to bring my business to these guys after some research into the company reviews. My wife was having braking and alignment issues and was planning a trip with our daughter several states away . Called ASG and talked to Alex, explained our problems and if they could get it in and fixed by friday. Dropped it off Thursday night after hours , got a call the next morning at 8:30 that it was in the shop and diagnosed. Alex explained what they found, how they would fix it and a price, extremely professional. They even stayed late on a Friday so i could pick it up after i got off work. The Jeep stops better than it ever did and tracks straight as an arrow when stopping. Extremely professional techs and buisness...highly recommend!

These guys are just the nicest coolest group of mechanics Ive encountered. Took in my lemon of a Volkswagen in and was able to talk through the list of issues with Reggie and decide what I did and did not want done with no pressure and a full understanding of the costs and risks involved. Then when I bought a new car they were able to help me with a battery hiccup lickety-split! As a young woman I often feel taken advantage of at mechanics but not with these guys, Thanks ASG!

Only 1 star because they did provide great customer service. Brought me home and even picked me up after the car was fixed... But thats the only good thing to say. They charged us 2,000 to run a full diagnostic on the car, replace the 4 coils/plugs and the rear brakes/roders. They even tried to tell us that we were over the millage for a oil change, charge 150 for it when the oil was just changed not even 2 months prior!!!! Thought it was kinda pricey but had great reviews and havent been in this area for that long so figured why not... Get the car drive it down the road (i legit live 10 mins away) and the battery light starts flashing. I turn around and take it back to them because IT WAS NOT DOING THAT UNTIL THEY TOUCHED THE CAR! They then proceeded to tell me that we needed to pitch out another 900 bucks ON TOP of the 2,000 because the alternator was going out IF IT WAS GOING OUT WOULDNT IT HAVE SHOWN UP ON THE DIAGNOSTIC TEST?!!!! But no... These people flat out TOOK ADVANTAGE of the situation. They knew that we didnt know much about cars and didnt know the area to well. After this had happened I contacted my grandfather who was a mechanic for 20 years and asked him about it... He gave me a run down on what the parts should have costed even at higher end quality and it didnt match up anywhere close to what they charged us... THEY SCAMED AN EXTRA 1,000 OUT OF US! And then tried to get another 900. WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!! ITS A COMPLETE JOKE!!! THEY WILL DO JUST ABOUT ANYTHING TO GET MORE MONEY FROM YOU!!!!

Took my vehicle in and was amazed by the service. Very professional and timely. I had it dropped off after hours and the next morning they diagnosed and let me know what needed done. They found a few other things that needed replaced a long the way but did not charge extra for labor just parts.Found a cheaper solution to one issue I am having compared to taking it to the dealer. Very up front and honest. Definitely recommend bringing your vehicle here!

I’ve taken my cars to ASG for over 7 years and have never been disappointed with the service I’ve received. They’ve done routine maintenance on my daily driver, installed aftermarket parts like headers and exhaust, and recently, even helped me troubleshoot an alignment issue with my 2019 Challenger Hellcat Widebody that a local dealer couldn’t diagnose. Their prices are competitive and they don’t pressure you into add-on sales.

Being a customer there since 2017 and did not realize they did not inspect my tires at all for over 2 years even though I asked for it every time I called or stepped in! Also they lied about the tire tread depth during my visit in June, saying all four tires had the same depth and last month, they said the two front ones were torn and the rear ones were pretty new! How is that possible! I went to another shop and they told me it was basically because ASG never inspected the tires or just lied to me about the tire tread depth. I phoned ASG a few times and they admitted their mistakes for over 2 years after checking all the inspection records but did not want to provide any corrective actions! They are only willing to give free tire rotation after I get two new front tires! What is the point of me asking them to check and see if I need tire rotation every half year when I went for oil change and inspection?! I was a royal customer and spent thousands of dollars there for my old car. Totally regret it!Update: these tires were purchased from Costco and Costco said if I can provide paperwork that they had been rotated, they can replace my front tires for free! However, ASG never rotated them even though it was asked!

I have had two major repairs performed on two vehicles in the last few months and my wife and I are very impressed. They are upfront with inspections with supporting photos, and will provide a post repair report. They are friendly and professional, and have provided me pick up and drop off service to my home. I would recommend to anyone looking for high level service for less than dealer cost.

I recently decided to purchase a car in Indianapolis, IN. I live in Las Vegas, NV. Because I planned to drive the car back to Nevada, I asked to the seller to find a shop to do an inspection and some work. This shop was an outstanding selection! The report was clear and detailed including pictures of several areas. I asked them to perform a lot of work in a short time. They supply a nationwide warranty on their work! Ive been taking my car here for about 4 years now. They always remember me and what car I drive. They gave me honest advice on my last car about when it was time to pull the plug (a lot of repair shops wouldve just said theyll fix it and taken my money). This place is amazing! I had a cracked rim and needed to get it fixed. They were able to complete the repair in one day when other auto shops told me that the repair would take 2-3 days and I would have to leave my vehicle with them for those days. I am so happy I stumbled across ASG. I called and they were able to schedule my appointment for the following day. Their complimentary shuttle service was such a convenient amenity and it allowed me to drop the car off but still make it to work and back to the shop when the work was complete! The price was reasonable and the customer service was outstanding. Overall, my experience was excellent!

I was referred here by a close friend, and these guys did not disappoint. Took my car in for its regular service, and the service I received was beyond my expectations. They were honest and real about how my car performance was, and what was needed that they found during inspection. The one thing I love is they weren’t pushy about getting the additional service, but gave a strong recommendation on a timeframe on when to come in next. On top of this they gave me a ride to work so I didn’t have to call and Uber so I was really appreciative about that!I will definitely recommend them to others and will be coming back in the future

My favorite shop to get work done in Indianapolis. Great staff and even better work. They are honest and are happy to answer any questions you may have about your repairs. They always treat my 2004 Volvo S60 great. Due to its foreign manufacture another shop messed up my oil system while doing repairs and didnt tell me. Good thing ASG was there to find it before I was stranded on the side of the road. Every time they do an oil change they do a full look over of my car and let me know what could be done to make it run better and if the repairs require immediate attention or can wait. I like how they allow you to discretion and give you the truth on whether the repairs are needed. When getting repairs they will happily source the cheapest parts they can find, and always do a fantastic job. Their staff is friendly and easy to contact and they have a great deal with enterprise for cheap rental cars while yours is in the shop. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get something done on their car around Indianapolis.

My engine seized up the night before I left for vacation. I called the nearest tow truck and had them tow it to the auto shop nearest to me with the best reviews. ASG was super cooperative with me being away, I was able to do almost everything over the phone. I had a bit of sticker shock about the price for my total engine replacement, but they went over the bill thoroughly with me and set my mind at ease. This is my shop now. Going forward, this is the only place that will work on my cars.

I brought my car in for a headlight issue on a saturday morning, while they couldnt promise it would get fixed because of shortened saturday hours, they said they would do their best. The shop foreman Alex was very courteous as was Scott one of the service advisors. They did a very thorough vehicle inspection for free and were very reasonably priced on the repair they did for me. They had me in and out and my car was fixed within hours. Ill be bringing all my vehicles back here moving forward. Great shop.

Ive had nothing but positive experiences dealing with the ASG folks. My 2011 Mini Cooper has needed new coils, a thermostat wiring harness, clutch and cooling system help....each time, ASG has been proactive in helping me get a rental car (cheap), towing (if needed) and keeping me apprised of the work needed...and cost...every step of the way. Their work has consistently been superior and their customer service exemplary. Many years ago during a time of great stress, they did not charge for an oil change. It was their gift to me. Recently I had an accident and an issue presented itself where my insurance company did not reimburse fairly. I was not comfortable when they wanted to send me to a preferred provider whose reviews did not inspire my confidence. ASG repaired the car even though they were not adequately paid for their work. Great customer service great communications

ASG charged me $120 to change the oil in my Mercedes. ASG used the wrong sized crush ring, so it leaked in less than 100 miles of driving. I called ASG and mentioned wrong sized ring and oil leak; they said the tech must have grabbed the wrong one. For a $120 oil change, I hope we are not just grabbing things.Overall, the scheduled service for my Mercedes was $1200, which was more than the Mercedes dealer quoted me later, but I had ASG do the service since the car was there.Watch their pricing. ASG tried to oversell my scheduled maintenance for my Land Rover; ASG stated it would be $1600. The dealer only wanted $490. There was a discrepancy in what service was needed. Once I got an identical quote, ASG was still 35% higher than the Land Rover dealer. I challenged ASG and they matched the price of the dealer, but I had to threaten to pick up the car and decline service to get them to match the dealer price. Price is always a fight. Im not cheap, but I have a problem paying dealer pricing while I am not at the dealer.Also regarding my Land Rover originally was there to diagnose check engine. To repair the check engine matter, I was quoted the repair and approved the price on the service for check engine issue. An hour later I was told the price was going up over 20% because they had to switch brand of parts. It turns out their supplier thought they had faulty parts for the initial price, so ASG had to source the part from the dealership. I guess I should have just taken the car to the dealership. On the Land Rover service, they did not bother to reset my service indicator, so my Land Rover still thinks it needs service and reminds me. That was kind of irritating.Neither time did they wash my cars. Most garages I have been to wash my cars, especially when I had $1,200 and $1,600 service. They are nice people, but no way would I return.

ASG is a fantastic shop. Scott was able to repair my truck faster and cheaper than originally quoted. I was a little disappointed that I had to pay for the diagnosis since I told him what was wrong from the beginning. On the other hand it takes a lot of money to fill a shop with great people who will make sure they are fixing the real problem and not just take your money for something you dont need. I feel like the job was done right and Im sure if mistake was made it would be corrected promptly. At this shop you actually get what you pay for.

Good waiting room if you want to hang around during an oil change, offers to drive you home while you wait for service (I live really close), relatively reasonable pricing. Friendly staff.My husbands latest experience was a bit less ideal, as some more major work on his car took far too long - he had to borrow a car for a good 10 days straight.Overall, however, the ASG experience has been good for the last 2.5 years weve gone there. Sometimes more pricey than wed prefer, but generally much more reliable than the cheaper options we tested out here and there!

These guys are absolutely great! I brought in a 2001 Hyundai Elantra that I was planning to purchase. Th e vehicle seemed to be in good condition, but the transmission housing was exposed to the elements. Thanks to their thorough investigation I saved myself from having to replace the transmission when the inevitable rock bounced into the transmission. These guys saved me from a bullet, and I am glad that I went there today.

My experience was wonderful at ASG! When I called to get my truck repaired it was completed in just 2 days after my call. I didnt have to wait a long time to get in to it fixed. Also, ASG called Enterprise for me to get a rental car and that was a quick process. I will recommend them to family and friends as well as go back for my own repairs.

Ive been taking my cars here for 19 years and never had any reason not to trust them. They are always very clear about which repairs are critical and which can wait and give detailed understandable explanations. They are flexible and go out of their way to accommodate my schedule. They are Click and Clack without the corny jokes.

I have been a client of ASG automotive for a couple of years now and have loved it. I bought a clutch and flywheel from them a little over a year ago. My clutch went out, I was thinking my driving was horrible. I go and get another estimate on how much a new one was. The flywheel they got me was suppose to be able to be resurfaced. Then they said it wasnt after it went out. They wanted to charge me the same price they charged me the first time. So i had a guy at my dealership do it. As he takes me over to the car he showed me that the Clutch Plate was installed backwards. Since the 12 month warranty was up there was nothing ASG would to. I have been a great customer and spent more than enough money there and told everyone i knew how great they were. They will never have my buisness again and I will make sure no one that i know will go there as well.

Called 4 different places around town to describe the work I needed done on my Lexus GX. People either didnt know what I was asking for or didnt know how to do it. After ASG diagnosed the problem with my truck I learned through my regular mechanic that the issue was under recall.I ended up taking the truck to the dealer to have the warranty work done.Scott at ASG was very friendly and detailed with every aspect.ASG waived the 110.00 dollar diagnostic fee.I will continue doing business with ASG. As usual, ASG kept me up to speed on exactly what the status was on my vehicle throughout the day and performed quality work. Price is certainly better than a dealer as well. Im glad ASG is so close to my house as I plan to take my cars there whenever service is required.

These guys understand service and earning business.
