Ive called this location several times and let the phone ring for almost 2 minutes each time. If they cant even be bothered to answer the phone I doubt theyre very attentive to customers. Ill find somewhere else to get work done.

Im sure the people are very nice, but I had a pretty bad experience. I needed new brake pads. I go in on a Saturday and they tell me I need new rotors as well. They tell me that they have the rotors I need, but not the brake pads. The pads wouldnt be in til Monday, I tell them to go ahead and order the pads. We get to Monday, and no word. I call them Tuesday and am told they still arent here but should be at the store by the end of Tuesday, and they will call when they are here. I never hear from anyone on Tuesday. So Wednesday morning I call and they tell me when the part was ordered on Saturday, it didnt get to the manufacturer so they had to order it on Tuesday. So until I called on Tuesday no one found it odd the part wasnt here. I am told that the pads should be in Wednesday or Thursday at the latest, and again they would call. No phone call Wednesday, so I call Thursday morning. They tell me the part came in Wednesday night and they forgot to call. So I drive down there and am told that the rotor they have does not fit my car and they will have to order the right ones from a store. I was told that it should be at the store by 2 pm. I waited 10 am to 3pm for this 1 part to come in, that is 5 hours of waiting for one part. I missed 2.5 days of work because they kept changing the days the part was gonna be here. There was zero communication on their part about what was up, the only time I got information about the status is when I called them. If I had know it would day 2 days longer for the part to get to the store I could have planned ahead. This is one of the worst customer service experiences Ive had.

Had a bad experience at a different location and decided to try this location out to get s tire replacement due to a screw. They totally changed my opinion and I wish I would have went there to begin with. Carl and Shannon had excellent customer service and I really appreciated them helping me out.

I was told there would be a one hour wait when I came in for my scheduled oil change. It has now been over two hours and my car hasnt even been touched. Im not coming back. This was a scheduled appointment I made a week in advance.Honestly, this place deserves to go out of business. They are at the bottom of the pile on customer service skills.

Im not sure how, but they lost the keys to my husbands car. They also closed early with no notice causing us to have to come back the next day for the car where the gates were already half closed even though it was 30 minutes before closing ti.e.Just read the cut and paste response to my review and laughed out loud. How many car keys does this place lose? Is it such a common occurrence if they called the store and asked the response would be, Gee, we lose a bunch. Im not sure which one it is?

This store has what I need everytime I shop there. They have a decent selection of parts for real engines!! Holley carbs, Edlebrook, Flowmaster, Magnaflow, K&N just to name a few they carry in stock on the shelf! Thats pretty nice to have at your fingertips.Bottom line wanna go faster or look cooler then go to Pep Boys!!

Id give this place a -3 if it were possible. They ran my friend around the bush with false time lengths, promises, and service. They overcharged and were rude and had her in tears for nearly a month. Contacted corporate and they were supposed to take care of the issues. Next thing you know, the work they did left the car with constant issues, so much so that they decided to get a different engine (the one they put in prior was failing) One month, a week and a day later, we are here in the parking lot ( which is riddled with giant potholes) its been an hour and still no car. This has and still is a huge headache. Corporate is supposed to reimburse her for at least the thousands of dollars in car rental fees, but they have also promised many other things that never happened... so, we will see. Do yourself a favor, and choose somewhere else. Heck, high-schoolers in a shop would be better than this place.

Pep Boys is where I go for all my auto detailing supplies. They carry alot better products than the other guys. Employees are always friendly, ready to help you with whatever it may be. They carry or can get almost anything for your vehicle at a reasonable price. Next time you need a part or an accessory for your vehicle, give them a try.

Go somewhere else. I was told all but two of the mechanics have quit, and they couldnt even guarantee my car would be looked at the same day. This is after having my appointment cancelled on a Monday and rescheduling a new appointment at 9:00 AM five days later on Saturday. I offered to have them just call me as soon as they could find the time today, but I got brushed off with a I cant guarantee anything. Total waste of my time, dont waste yours.

I was extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the entire visit to Pep Boys. I was in line waiting to speak to the CSR, and 2 other customers just came and got right in front of me. How RUDE!!!!! Needless to say, I got disgusted with the whole situation that I decided to leave and go to Discount Tire. I have to say, its been some years since Ive been here, but their store has gone completely down hill. 👎👎

Drove two hours to get a Bosch Battery replaced for another Bosch battery. Ordered it online and called the store to verify they had it. Got to the store and was told they dont carry Bosch battery anymore. They said its not a pep boys store anymore so could not enter my rewards number. This was the first thing Ive bought at pep boys in the last five years. Wouldnt have drove down to Indy to get a different Brand. Things on the site should be in the store or the store shouldnt have pep boys name on it. Zero complaint about staff.

I initially went to get my shocks and struts replaced. I informed the service manager that I wanted to do the front and if the back needed it, to give me a call and I would see what I could do. I got a call from the service technician because he was confused at what the paperwork said. He said, The paperwork says to do the back first. I dont know what this means. So why you told him exactly what I told the service manager, to do the front and give me a call about pricing before they did the back. They never made that call. I actually had to call them to find out what was going on with the car, and thats when they told me everything was done and it was ready to be picked up. They had done everything even though I specifically said otherwise. I think they went out of their way to get as much money out of me as possible and that is why they have lost my business. My only other disappointment is that I had to go back to have them retorque everything.

They should no longer be called PepBoys. That name implies that they have ‘pep’ in their step. It took 2 1/2 hours to get four tires put on. Also while my car was on the lift, The headlights were left on with the car turned off.I did get the road hazard with my new tires but if I have any problems I’ll end up going to the 96th street location even if it is out of the way.I’ll give five stars to the staff inside the store for being friendly and five stars for the quality of the tires and that’s it.Edit: get the parking lot fixed! It’s so badly in need of repairs and new lines. The tire changer parked the drivers door right next to a huge puddle that would’ve soaked your socks.

Gotta give these Cats five stars. I explain, Im what you call a shade tree mechanic and Im good. I can take things apart, put it back together but since automobiles were changed from carburators to fuel injected I admit, there are certain things that I dont get exactly right. On one of my rides I did a tune up and changed a driver side valve cover gasket (another story), anyway after driving the car it was sputtering, missing and it occasionally died on me. It would start right back up but thats not cool to me. Sometimes I would drive it go into a place, come back out and the doggone thing wouldnt even crank. MAN this hurt because it was always hot outside. I figured it to be a vapor lock from past experience with my old school rides. Im the type that is more concerned how it runs than look. This irked me. ALOT!Frustrated I knew I needed to get a diagnostic test, figuring it couldnt be much wrong. Im always cautious taking my vehicles anywhere because I dont ever want to get my money taken. Pep Boys on Washington St, from now on my go to place did a Diog Exam called me the next day and said respectfully, Mr Quarles your car is ready. It was a vacuum hose that was pinched and wasnt on all the way. Were only going to charge you for the test. I was HAPPY!. Mind you they couldve said that it was electrical or worse that I didnt do my tuneup right which wouldnt have been good for my ego or anything just to get my money but they didnt.Ill get them to Diog and perhaps even work on all of my vehicles from now on and much respect to the whole team.

Life savers! We were traveling and popped a tire. They stayed open late to make sure we could get on our way and get to our destination on time. They did their best to find an affordable, quick solution, and everyone there was incredibly pleasant. I highly recommend them!

I made an appointment to get my power steering looked at and a tire repaired and was told they couldn’t find the issue and that I had to go to a dealership and was also told the mechanic was going on lunch and couldn’t fix my tire until he got back. I was charged $30 for nothing basically and so I googled my issue and fixed it myself (bad U joint). A local tire shop repaired my tire for $15.

Had a 10 year old car battery. No, we didnt buy it a cake and celebrate it. We put it out to pasture and the guys at Pep Boys put in a brand new battery! They were very helpful and even though they were extremely busy, they fit me in and did a great job.

This place has terrible service.I made an appointment 3 days in advance for 4 new tires installation/alignmentI dropped it off the day of, no issue. They called me almost 2 hours later and told me they dont have the tires in stock. Even though the appointment was set 3 days in advance.I asked them if they check their inventory to see if they have the tires, his answer was we have a new inventory system and its kinda messed up, and were short staffed. Sorry for the inconvenienceI took my business somewhere else and I wont be back.

Would use for routine/delegated work, but not for diagnosing. I really wanted this place to work out as I work across the street and it would be very convenient. My front suspension was making a noise, so I decided to take it in (also wanting a transmission flush/filter to be done). After inspecting my suspension system for $20, I basically got the well it could be your struts. It could be your control arms. I could be....... never once mentioning anything specific. So it could be $700 to $2000 to fix an 18 year old car with 126k miles. I said no thanks to the suspension work, but had them do the transmission flush. They did quick and courteous work on the transmission, so I cant give them a 1 star. I eventually went to a local mechanic near my home. It was a broken sway arm link ($100 parts and labor for both sides). I would have thought Pep Boys would have at least been able to tell me there was an obvious broken part, but apparently not.

Poor service went in and asked about a fluid pump to add fluid to a transfer case on a jeep liberty 06 the first staff member who was leaning on the front counter obviously not doing anything waved to a aisle that had nothing to do with fluid pumps shouting go farther down. I found another employee who took me two aisles over right to what I wanted. The service department wanted 47 dollars to add fluid to the transfer case

I stopped in for an oil change and tire rotation. Pep boys ended up having to fix a problem that was caused by the last place I got an oil change (rhymes with fall-mart). They were professional, courteous and did everything possible to get me back on the road! Great price for the oil change and rotation! Having them fix the problem from their competitor.... priceless! Horrible service! Ive been going here for 2 years. The price has doubled and dont perform all of the services requested. I paid over $40 for an oil change on a Chrysler 200. Oil changes come with tire rotation and air pressure check. My tires were low when I arrived and when they told me they were done. When questioned they put air in my tires, all different amounts, and I left with my car smelling like oil. After getting home I noticed my tires were never rotated. I know this because I just had a type plugged at tire barn last month. I will not be back. I couldve paid the same price and went to the dealership.

Their service department is amazing! Fair, will work with you and not overcharge. We drive from over an hour away to go to this location because of the service department. A closer Pep Boys quoted $1300 for my breaks and would take a week to get me in and this site did the same job for $400 and did it same day. Dave is the best.

Look I have used Pepboys a lot over the years and I never have a problem they are very help and always go out of the way. The gentleman that helped me today was as always extremely helpful and polite. Unfortunately my experience today wasn’t all good it took over 40 mins for me to pay my bill. They ran my card and said there system crashes to wait I did cane same thing. I ask they can take me card info the guy says let’s ask a manager he ask the manager they yet again try to run my card this time manager gets involved and questions my card because it say carX on it I said sir I’ve been here a thousand times and used my synchrony bank a thousand time he we don’t take all synchrony cards. I said again I used it here before. He reboots the system again I walk outside and call synchrony to confirm that nothing had changed and I could still use my card there they said yes I walked placed them on speaker and had them repeat that they do accept my card. The manager said maybe it’s your card to run it manually or choose a different payment method. They run it manually it goes through no problem. This was just crazy the manager should have handled this better. They should have ran it manually after the first time. This was just not what expected from them.

We had an amazing experience there last Saturday when our tire blew on the interstate. We still had 700 miles to drive to Delaware and these people treated us like royalty. Everyone at that store was friendly and kind. The man who changed our tire went the extra mile unloading all our junk from the back so that he could put our donut back on which is not an easy thing to do. We just want them to be recognized as an amazing place that we highly recommend and we hope they are appreciated!!

I banned Pep Boys years ago in Cincinnati when they made a huge mistake during an oil change of my vehicle. I decided to give them another try at this location a couple times and am glad I did. Their team of cashiers is fantastic! Very knowledgeable and will go out of their way to find your part.

My visit with pepboys was not a good one I bought tires there in October got road hazard 60 k mile warranty on tires I had a flat the tire could not be repaired they pro rated thred Death gave me new tire,but they didnt have same tires so I had 1 different tire I asked for another tire they honored my wish but its not a good thing for me my warranty is destroyed not at my fault Ive taken all my vehicles there for years and now my trust is broken, your staff at this store are great people but they dont make the policies, I will find another establishment in the future to take my vehicles no one should have to go through what I endured, have a great day,John

Had a coolant leak. Said they would look at it but mentioned no charge. They lifted the hood, saw that the AC condenser had smashed into the radiator. They added coolant to see where the leak was, but that seems unnecessary. They called it a coolant system evaluation and charged $39.15 for it. I dont mind a charge, and its not losing the money, but that much for looking under the car and wasting coolant? Please. When I questioned this: It aint free to look at your car, sir. It would have been any other place I would have taken it, and always has been -- or at least a warning. To me this falls somewhere between charging without my agreeing to it, overcharging for next to nothing, and petty theft. Fool me once . . . .

Took my car for an oil change, came back to them having an accident with a few thousand dollars worth of damage to my car. My car had never been in an accident before this. They said they were taking responsibility. But dealing with their claims department has been a nightmare. The lady doesnt return calls. When she finally does call she is super rude. They want to pay the lowest amount possible instead of where i want to get it fixed. I am fighting tooth and nail. Still no calls letting me know whats going on. Have tried to call claims manager and supervisor a few times and of course they have yet to call back either. Save your self the headache, dont even take it there.

Good price if you have coupon and fast for an oil change. However, on the program to I chose to do an oil change, they suppose to do oil change, oil filter, tire rotation, check tire pressure. They did only oil change and maybe oil filer. I was watching them the whole time, but I didnt see they did something else other than oil change. And it seem like the mechanic got his hand dirty from an oil change and that engine oil all over my door panel, steeling wheel, engine area, car seat, and etc. I am not sure if i will go back again since I can get this price and basic oil change some where else too.

I created an appointment a day in advanced to have service done to my car. When I arrive the service staff acts like Im bothering them and refuses to honor my appointment and tell me its going to be a very long multiple hour wait. I made this appointment a day in advance, showed up 20 minutes early, and left my job early to get this done. There is no excuse for the long wait, and any good company would have at least called me to let me know they were running behind instead of basically telling me they cant do it when I arrive. This completely defeats the entire purpose of having an appointment. This company and its employees have no respect for their customers or their time and showed absolutely zero professionalism. AVOID THIS PLACE FOR SERVICE.

I was in Indianapolis visiting a friend and we were working on his old car and he drive us to Pep Boys for parts. The car is a 1971 and the woman at the counter knew exactly what we needed without even looking at the comp first. I was impressed and the prices were very reasonable and we got more than what we came for. I even got some LED bulbs for my van. Thanks and I will be back the next time I come to Indy! Went there to get a new battery for my girlfriends parents car. A gentleman named Daniel helped us out with selecting the right battery for our needs. Because I didnt have the right tools for the job, he said he would take care of it. He went out with just a flannel shirt on (it was 12 degrees outside) and went to work. It was not an easy one to change out, but he made it happen. Thanks for your persistence Daniel, it was much appreciated! Above and beyond for customer assistance!

I wanted to get new brake fluid, including the brake lines flushed. I MADE AN APPOINTMENT! My appointment was at 1 oclock. I got there at 12:45. At 2 oclock asked about my truck. They had just started on it. Now this had already been an hour and 15 minutes. I loudly told them of my disappointment. So my wife calls at 2::30 and has a Dr. Appointment at 3:30 , I went and asked again, WOW he JUST got done. So I paid an left. While watching a monitor of all the shop during this, I question wether they even did the work. I am going to have the brake fluid bled a little to see if I get clean fluid. For Pep Boys sake I better get clean fluid. More to come

If you ask for a tire rotation double-check that they actually did it! They documented that it was done however I have 2 different brands of tires and it was VERY CLEAR that they didnt do what they said. Had to go back and wait while they fixed their mistake....

Went in to get 16X6.5-8 tubeless lawn tractor tires to replace my tubed tires. Was told by the guy at the service desk that they dont carry them. I asked if he could order a pair, and if I could have Pep Boys install them because I just had surgery on my arm. He said, No. We cant order them. Even if we could, we dont service tires that small. I told him that the Pep Boys website indicates that they can and do. I was told to go someplace else, because the website managers dont know what theyre talking about. Waste of time. I will gladly take my business elsewhere.

I hate that the parking lot is so full of huge holes and I feel like my car is getting damaged just driving through it.... I have been coming here for years and you would think they would of fixed it by now. With the crazy high prices they charge. You would think they would have the money to fix it.I also like it if you had an appointment they would have a spot ready for your car instead of wait for a half hour for it to go in the service floor make it an hour for a half hour job. I dont have all day. I do have a life to live.
