I purchased a rebuilt quadrajet 750cfm from SMI. It arrived virtually to the day it was supposed to even with all the Covid slow-downs. Excellently wrapped and boxed securely. I put the carb on my 79 K10 primed the fuel and it started immediately (much better than my previous carb which gave the starter a real workout). I only had to a small amount of adjusting to set the idle where I wanted it. The carb has certainly improved the performance and efficiency of my truck. SMI isnt the cheapest rebuilder out there, but knowing that the quality of his work is top notch, made it certainly worth the few dollars difference of the other shops.

Sean did a full restoration on a Quadrajet for me. It looked like new and performed like new. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

A great place for custom carb work, especially if what youre working with is a Q-Jet (QuadraJet). While much maligned by the uninitiated, the Q-Jet can be one of the best carbs you can own, if properly tuned and built.Seans fits this bill to a T.Oh, they can build you a Holley thats up there with the best of them too! :-)
