I had a great experience shopping for a refrigerator at the American Freight in Huber Heights. I was able to find a $3,000 dollar GE refrigerator $1,300. The only scratches were on the door handles which can be easily replaced. Some products are going to be a little more damaged than other but pricing seems very reasonable. Rhiannon was very knowledgeable about the products and available warranties. I paid for the delivery and removal of my old refrigerator. The two gentlemen were very thorough and professional. They took extra time to properly remove my front door and prepare the the path in and out of my kitchen so there was no damage to my home or new refrigerator. They were the kindest and most professional delivery team that Ive met. I would definitely recommend the Huber Heights American Freight to anyone looking for an appliance or piece of furniture.

When we got home from vacation to a broken fridge we were pretty stressed out. We thought of American Freight Sears Outlet first and went there first thing Sunday morning to look for a scratch and dent. Our salesperson Maurissa was extremely helpful and gave us the most accurate information that helped us make the best decision for ourselves quick and we were able to load up our new fridge on our truck that same day! Their loading dock made it very easy along with the help of the employee in charge of that portion. We also got approved for financing very quickly. I had order a rug from the Lima branch. After 3 months or so still no rug. A branch opened up closer to me in Piqua Ohio. I spoke with a sales associate. He found that two rugs were available in Huber Heights. Sales Asslibes in Miamisburg and was kind and picked the rug up the next day from HuberHeights. Great customer service.

I needed a dishwasher in stainless steel at a good price. Carrington was my salesman. He sold me a nice one just under 450.00. Checkout was fast. I will shop here again.

This store is the best kept secret for affordable, National name, brand new appliances. I planned on buying just a stainless fridge at the Huber location because they had exactly what I needed dimension wise but the price and deals were so good (huge discount) I ended up upgrading my range as well to a new induction cooktop. Our sales associate, Karrington, was phenomenal. No pressure sales, answered all of my questions. He even asked the warehouse team a technical installation question we had. The delivery services were just as great. Professional, courteous, and polite. They hauled away our old appliances (which I recommend now that DP&L discontinued the program). The delivery team was timely, and even took an extra minute to switch our fridge door hinge/handle before carrying into the house. Everything about our expectations was met and I highly recommend. Don’t waste $$ at other places when these are exactly the same and low low prices. Thanks!

I normally don’t write long reviews, my reviews are normally the product was good or the product was bad. On 30 October the wife and I were looking for a washer and dryer being that our 20 year old machine decided to cease working. So went to American freight and we bought our replacement Washer& Dryer. Being that was a Friday The delivery would not take place until Tuesday 3 November. Items were delivered installed washer worked well, dryer sounded like an old tennis shoe was in the drum, just constantly thumping. Purchased a master protection plan, called them and they set up an appointment for a technician to come out and look at the dryer. The next day he showed up and determined that the frame of the dryer was bent causing the thumping sound. Went back to American freight met with Dave the store manager explain my situation and I was able to get another dryer. That was delivered on Friday hooked up over the weekend. Lo and behold the dryer would not heat up. Called the master protection folks again and they sent out a technician again. He determined that there was a defective ignitor and he was unable to repair. So here it is Tuesday 3:45 PM and I’m back at American Freight. I find Dave and explain the situation that I’m having with these dryers. He was astonished as was I that two dryers that were delivered were found to be defective. He went out of his way along with another manger to remedy the situation. We found another dryer and being that they only deliver on Tuesdays and Fridays their delivery crew was still in the store and they able to deliver that evening. I’m happy to say that the new dryer is working as it should.The experience that I had was something that could have been captured in a Abbot & Costello Comedy skit, now I’m showing my age, however working with Dave at the store he was able to resolve the problem in a very timely manner. I also suggest to anyone buying appliances from American freight or anywhere for that matter, for peace of mind buy the extended warrantyAlso the delivery folks were very professional and were extra careful not only in delivery of the items but also in wearing masks.

The service and respect me and my wife received from your delivery associates (Ramon & Brandon) was above and beyond. They were literally a breath of fresh air😁. The professionalism that these two gentlemen displayed was nothing short of the results of good training. Im not sure if the pairing of the two was on purpose but, it worked well with how they conducted their business. They handled our products with care, explained in detail how to use and take care of them, was mindful of their surroundings and our home, measured, installed and we enjoyed a great conversation while they worked. I had two sales associates Helana and Rhiannon helping me with my purchase. They helped me immensely, answering all my questions very professionally, I know I ask lots of straight forward questions and expect straight forward answers. They delivered and earned this excellent rating. The financing company was extremely easy and fast. I am satisfied with my purchases today, a new washer and dryer set by kenmore, a display model LG microwave oven, and a floor model shark vacuum cleaner, on back order till April, a Ashley electric loveseat recliner with center console.They also have beds, sectionals, lawn mowers, gas grills, and a bunch more. Mark (I beleive his name is) very rude. Saw a fridge with no price on it. Mark took 15 to find a random price on a website. When I found it at another store less than what he found it for. Need I remind you it had dents, scratches and the handle was loose. I showed Mark the price of a brand new one. His response was Thats a even better price why Dont you go get that one, cause this is what were selling it for The way he said it was very unprofessional. All i did was ask a question as to why the price was really high when it was dinged and dented?.Over priced items.

Do not recommend! My grandparents bought a washer and dryer set, got it home and the dryer sounds like it is going to blow up when it runs. One person said they added a warranty and sent out a service person then were told it would be $500 to it. Then the manager said that they in fact did not have a warranty, but could maybe add one on for another $400, but otherwise it is just too bad, everything is sold as is and no refunds are given. Try to call whirlpool and see if theyll help. Really!?!? $1800 and thats it!?!? They definitely took advantage of my 80+ year old grandparents, selling them a set that was was more technically advanced than they would ever need! Hope he enjoys his commission check, knowing he screwed them over!

We went into American Freight Huber Heights looking for a chest of drawers for our guest room. Even though they did not have the item we wanted, they called the Kettering store for us and we bought it there. As we were at the Kettering store we got to thinking that it would be a good time to get all new bedroom furniture, so later in the week we went back to the Huber store and got the king bed frame, dresser, mirror, and one night stand (we wanted two). Rhiannon and many others helped us immensely. They checked other places for the second night stand and told us when the trucks normally come so we could check back. So, we checked back for a few weeks (buying a couple of lamps in the meantime) and we got our second night stand today!Throughout the process, every associate was pleasant, helpful, and worked as a team. We couldnt have asked for greater service. We are also very pleased with our new bedroom furniture, the Emily Cherry model. The next time we need to redo a room, American Freight Huber Heights will be our first stop.

Go some where else!!! When you come in the store they are jumping on you..then when you actually inquire about an appliance, they dont know anything. In this case it was a pretty banged up refridgerator..It took him forever to come back with a price..when he did, it was 1,800.00..anywhere else its 1,700.00 brand new in box.with no dents....showed him a home depot ad and made him aware of this..he said go there!!..Very rude!!!This is why some people should not be salesmen..Everything in this store is over priced!!

We needed a certain refrigerator that unfortunately was only available halfway across the country. I probably called almost a dozen times but Mark and Damien were WONDERFUL. They went above and beyond to help us. We were incredibly impressed! When my husband drove all the way to Ohio to pick up our appliance, he also had a great experience with Rhiannon. I highly recommend all of them.

Appliances are decent, but not significantly cheaper than new. Sales people are rather pushy. The line, It wont be here long. There are other people interested! is an old trick. Due to this we went elsewhere. Im looking to find something that works well for my family without feeling desperate to purchase something now because someone else is looking at it. If someone else is truly looking to purchase theres no point in rushing up to see it. It was obnoxious and felt dishonest. We have bought here before, but likely wont in the future.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Went in to meet my wife and looked at a lot of things. Prices were good for an outlet store. Info was clearly marked and the employees know what was in stock and what was floor models. Definitely would go back here for any good deals.

We came in to buy a recliner. There was an advertisement on the window that said recliners starting at $198. They didn’t have any there for $198. We found one we wanted to buy anyways and then had to go ask for help. The guy said they don’t have recliners. We had to lead him to the front and show him. He scanned it and went in back to check, not before trying to sell us a smoker, which I found very weird. He said they didn’t have the chair. Didn’t even know if they would get more in.

The Huber location is horrible. Wanted to buy a platform bed with storage. Price marked was $599. Found out that all the drawers in the base, which are 6, would be $240 more. Argued that the price advertised did not specify this. I compare this to seeing a complete car for $10,000 and finding out the windows are $3000 extra. Went to the Kettering location and got the complete bed for the advertised price and a dishwasher. Found out Huber works on commission, Kettering doesnt. Thats the difference in a happy customer who buys something and a customer who is angry and buys nothing.

Weve purchased furniture here before and had a reasonably good experience and good deal then. This time, the sales guy offered one excuse after another why he couldnt tell us when items would be delivered. Seems you have to pay in full up front and then it might be weeks or months before delivery. Also, even though Ohio requires stores to enforce face masks, this sales guy consistently wore his completely under his chin and got within 4 feet of every customer and coworker while talking VERY loudly (more like shouting spit, actually). Very uncomfortable experience.

We call them about a deep freeze and ask if we could pay for it so they could hold it for and they said no but they would put in the back with our name on it. We had a 2-1/2 drive and she called us back 2 times, one time to make sure we was on our way and a second time to try us she gave us the wrong price but we was okay with it. Then 20 minutes away they call us to say it was sold online and we couldn’t pick it up. If you can’t keep your word then you are thrash in my book. This place isn’t worthy of one star in my book.

The old Sears outlet was purchased and returned as American Freight. The scratch and dent appliances are half price but some are extremely damaged. I was looking for a refrigerator but found only one that was acceptable. Other items; stoves, microwaves, and furniture are available.

Not a very good good experience.But the only positive about the store was the young sales lady that helped us.She worked very hard to salvage the mattress deal. While her store manager did nothing. He never once apologized about mix up or even spoke to us. But the young lady made situation rite..

I came to compare prices on a few different things such as a washer and dryer and stove. I checked out the couches they have there and found they have Ashley Furniture which they actually have a better deal at sears than Ashley does. The employees are friendly and helpful. The manager was bright smiling and happy that I was there. I got what I came for and didnt leave empty handed. They even sponsor Make a Wish which is a great cause to sponsor. I will be back they know how to treat their costomers. Im very happy with my visit.

Worst experience ever. Bought a dryer with the extra Protection Service on a Sunday got it home Monday and it immediately did not work .Been Told by Sears everyday since that Im not in their system to get the dryer fixed . One manager says it takes 48 hours for it to hit the system now that its been 4 days the other manager is telling me 5 days. They sold me a junk product and now Im having to jump through so many Hoops just to set up a time to get somebody to fix it. I was on hold for 3 hours and 40 minutes before it actually just hung up on me because five hit and thats when they close. 5 days after purchase still sitting here with no dryer and $500 down the drain. The only solution the manager will come up with is bring it back on my own which means getting my own truck and they will exchange it but because theres nothing in the same price range I will have to pay the difference on that as well. NO REFUNDS EVER. Protection plan of an extra 160 has done nothing either. Waste of time and so far money . Save yourself the hastle. Not one employee is on the same page there and the customer service is great until they get your cash then they could care less .

My 15-year-old washing machine started leaking so had to go shopping . Rhiannon let me browse and stopped to ask if she could help . She was very informative and helpful without being annoying . I didnt even realize you need to do use a new type of detergent now . She walked me carefully through all the details of the credit card and payment arrangements . Due to a washer unit fighting its last war,our apartment turned into a lake earlier today. We ventured forth to our local sears to roam the land. We were lost confused until we were approached by a noble customer companion by the name of Riannon. She lead us into a victorious excursion,teaching us every detail of each laundry well and its matching hot air dragon. After deciding to take home a two in one laundry well and its dragon, we hiked to a magical box that rained many glorious tree strips. We would definitely venture to this land again!

Went in to check out prices on Electric Stoves. Pleasantly Surprised! New, but Scratch and dents. Dents could be drawn out. Prices are really competitive. Will be purchasing my Electric stove there! They also have really good prices on couches and mattresses. Will be buying each of those down the line, once I get some work done on my house. Really worth the trip!

Love this place, I have saved a lot of money buying scratch and dent. Save 50 percent on top of the line washer and dryer set and 75 percent on a fridge. You would really have to look close to see the scratch or dent.

The worst experience of my life. I thought was getting a great deal on a stove. Boy I was SO SO WRONG!!! I get stove that when it was delivered to me. The stove was broken, it did not work. The store wanted me to have someone to come and fix it. Why would I want brand new stove that is defected? Of course NO REFUND I have to pick out another stove. The stove I got was dented and scratched. Best part of all I got NO DEAL! I could bought the same stove a Lowes, Best Buy for less and it would not been scratch or dented. The delivery service, well I would not use the word service as an adjective. There was NO Service, when complain about got know where. Lastly Sears deserves to go out business, and when you go there watch for your wallet there crooks!!

Every time I called the store, I was cheerfully greeted on the phone, and then was able to speak with the same employee who was handling my situation. I came in looking to buy a refrigerator for everyday use. After reading the reviews I was skeptical about the trip over to the huber heights store but wanted to see for myself. I personally think they should get a 5 star rating over all. Clean inside, friendly staff, great service and eager to listen to my needs and wants and the sales rep was able to match me up to the right product for an excellent price. Im happy with what I bought and will defiantly be back. Plus the added bonus they work with the Make a Wish foundation and do a lot of donations and sales to benefit, support and make awareness to the organization.

Happy to help people. The $60 down pay in 90 day deal is the way to go (as of october 19) and the replacement plan is 100% recommended.

The second you walk in someone will try to sell you something. High pressure sales, and be careful of pricing it changes often.

My washer gave out on me and since I didnt go to Sears in the first place it was going to cost me more to repair it then to just buy a new one. So with that in mind I went over to the Huber Sears store , yes I know its an outlet store but my dad said; [why pay full price when you can get the exact same thing with possibly just a small dent. Its not like anybodys going to be able to see it anyways and you can save lots of money] I found a fabulous deal and a nice sales rep that was eager to help with all my questions. This store is kept well organized and plenty of staff to help. However, some of the staff are a bit pushy with the extended warranty. Otherwise a great experience.

Dearest Sears,First of all I want to state that I did not expect to start my weekend off with a Kitchen that looks like the city streets of Venice. One moment I am recording footage in my upstairs studio and the next I am facing a very concerned version of my girlfriend who explained that our Kitchen had been floodedOur Washer/Dryer unit had been having issues for a while including a recently replaced heating element so I should have listened when the old gal told me she needed to retire.Sometimes you learn the hard way when your old unit sacrifices itself to the appliance Gods for its service.We were in need of a new All-in-One Washer/Dryer Unit we decided to head to our local Sears in Huber Heights. Emmediately my girlfriend noticed a black stainless Kenmore Unit in the back for around $944. The controls were in same exact location as the old Whirlpool unit that recently gave up its journey so that was nice.After many, MANY questions had been answers by, Rhiannan, our Sears associate including information on total pricing, a reliable 3 year warranty that included yearly preventative maintenance as well as providing all needed parts and helping us find better quality water hoses, it is safe to say that I am reminded why I like Sears. Furthermore why we like Rhiannon and how she was very polite and patient with what I am sure was a slew of redundant questions.For once I took the advice that sometimes it is better to just replace a unit instead of constantly replacing little pieces. It was agreed by everybody at the store that sometimes your time is just worth more than money.Needless to say we will be back, and we hope that Rhiannon will be there to help us yet again. She went above and beyond to explain everything and should be commended for it. BUYER BEWARE! I ordered 1 dresser and a chest, it took over 3 months to receive my merchandise. I like how they get there money but you cant get your merchandise. I called I stopped by the store. I was told next friday or 2 Fridays from now. The store manager Helena INCOMPETENT, She has never followed up or even tried to get to the bottom of where my merchandise is at. Shes considered as a paycheck employee. These are people who dont worry about customers just there paycheck. I tried to get a refund but they dont do that. Ive called this store several times to speak with the manager and shes never there and mysteriously the phone hangs up. Good luck to all that order from there. I understand that it is an outlet store but there is no way some of those appliances are going to work after all the damage they have acquired. I am glad I chose not to waste my money there.
