I have rented from here several years in a row. the only time I have ever spoke to anyone is when I made the reservation and when the driver is here. have not had a problem till now. I called on May 12, 2020 talked to a very nice gentleman, asked if they had the same waterslide that I have rented previously. he looked it up and said that it was available on JUNE 6. Charged my card on June 13. The morning of June 6 figured something was wrong because they usually show up early. I called, the manager would not stop talking, FINALLY got a word in. all she had to say was lies. Said she talked to me, never did, said we spoke about the weather, never did, told her to send me the contract, which I never received in the first place, the whole contract was written in blue, but the date which was wrong, said May 17 was written in black. they messed up, would not admit it, kept lying to me. I can deal with the fact if someone says they made a mistake, but I cannot accept the fact when someone lies to me and cannot take responsibility for their mistake. we are all human and it happens. JUST BE HONEST!!!!!!!!!! if you ever rent from here I suggest you call every day and make sure that everyone is on the same page and you dont have a houseful of children waiting on a slide that will not show up. We do this even once a year and it is always in June. Good Luck. I will be looking elsewhere next year

This place isn’t like it used to be. I am a previous customer. This last time we ordered a piñata for my daughters llama theme almost 3 weeks in advance. When I went to pick it up they said they didn’t know what happen to it. What kind of service is this? The employee that accommodated us was having a bad day, he didn’t not even put our order in. The manager didn’t even call or apologize for our inconvenience. Bad service! Will not return.

I always come here for the piñatas. By far the best quality and reasonable price. Staff is always so nice.

I needed a few tables and chairs for a small get together. The whole process was very easy, fast and the people are so friendly and eager to help you out. They have plastic table covers at such a good price (plain ones) compared to when one goes to Party City and they cost an arm and a leg for something that will be getting dumped in the trash. They also have centerpieces conveniently above all the party items. You can find piñatas, candy, centerpieces, party favor bags, moonwalks, chairs, tables, (rectangular or round) tents..the list goes on and on. Delivery and pick up for tents and moonwalks are also available.

This place was HIGHLY recommended by a good friend of mine. She actually went herself to the store and booked the day I needed it for the brunch birthday party. She was told that I would be the first dropped off because my party was from 11 am to 3 pm. Ive reserved a package that has the moonwalk, tables and chairs. My vision was to have the tables decorated by the time the guests arrive. The day of the party they were nowhere to be found at 11 am. We had to call THREE times to find out where the moonwalk was because I had guests that started coming already with no moonwalk for the kids and no table and chairs for the guests to sit down. An HOUR and 45 minutes later after the party has started, they came with the package. Ive called the office asked about discount on payment because the party was almost over when they came and they told me I still have to pay the full price. So I did before they lose sleep over it but I WILL NOT recommend this business to anyone at all. I am very disappointed because they came highly recommended and by not even offering a discount (since Im not asking for a refund) and treat a customer like oh well youre loss, im taking your money kind of business. It was my mistake for going with this company for sure! Do not rent from them. FYI I do not give a bad review. This is the first.

I loved Garcias Party Store. There was a bit of a hitch with something I ordered and even though it was NOT the Owners fault, she went above and beyond to fix it for me. I was very impressed. I wish more companies treated their customers like this, I will definitely be coming back to give them all of my return business.

I have ordered water slides, moon walks, tables etc... Many times throughout the years from Garcias and I have never had an issue with my delivery or pick-up. I also have compared their prices to other party supply rentals and this place is always cheaper. I have no complaints on customer service!

I found my monsters inc things which are discontinued every where else so I was happy. The lady at the desk was nice and helpful. Just kind of expensive here, I feel like the lady put her on price on things.

Pre ordered a month in advance a custom made branch pinata. We sent a picture of how we would like it and staff said they could make it exactly like the picture. We informed staff that we were driving to pick up from san Antonio so they made us pay in full. When we arrived, the pinata was nothing like the pic we sent and staff/ owner refused to take responsibility, and said that she never received a picture. Never will I order another item from here or give them business. If I wanted a cheap looking pinata, I wouldve bought one from my area instead of driving 3+ hours for a custom pinata.

Seriously who comes before 6:30am to pick up a damn moonwalk or to drop it off. They lied to my sister about the drop off and pick up time. These people have some nerves. I wont EVER RECOMMEND THEM! EVER. THE PLACE ON 75TH & LAWNDALE (CLOSER TO THE TRAIN TRACKS BY THE GAS STATION) AROUND THERE IS SO MUCH BETTER !!!!

Ive ordered from here last year and this year for my daughters birthday. Prices were good so was the customer service. I was glad i was able to reschedule due to horrible Houston weather they also txtd me and gave me a opinion on a better day to have it. So that im thankful. Will rent from here a third time.

Yesterday I went to rent some chairs and tables, lady yell from the back, what you want I said I need to rent some tables and chairs, she came to the front and said, well if you want them come back in an hour, cause I cannot go outside right now, very bad attitude, she was in a very bad mood... customer service was really bad.

The owner was very helpful with everything. She gave me a great price for the stuff I need for my sons first birthday.

They made a custom deer piñata for my sons bday party and it turned out great! Very nice people!!

Extremely rude. I was a long time customer until now. Not only was the lady rude but the pinata I got was no good. We got a unicorn, the body was overstuffed we couldnt put candy in it and the head was so small we couldnt fit much in it. The kids were so disappointed and so was I.

I will never do business with this place ever again. The older woman at the register was nice AT FIRST. Then when we started having issues, she was EXTREMELY rude. First off the piñata wasnt even ready, we had to pick it up a day later. Then they didnt give us our tables or chairs, only the moonwalk. Oh also, they wont help you load anything up bc the older lady said we are women we dont load anything up. Dont know what being a woman has to do with anything but alright. If this is your job but you cant do it, then choose another job. Customer service was terrible. They are so rude. Once they take your money is when their attitude starts to show. Also, we ordered a piñata shaped as a 1 & they decorated the wrong side of the piñata. Extra $25 to decorate the piñata yet they decorated it in the wrong side. Lmao! Wow. Take your money elsewhere.

I had higher expectations for this place, Ive bought piñatas from here before but this is my first time renting a moonwalk from them, I have 3 kids, Ive rented moonwalks several times before, so I received the wrong moonwalk from them also the moonwalk I received was very dirty and old. I will not be ordering a moonwalk from there again.

I went to the Garcia Party store to order 2 pinatas and center pieces.. I got one pinata and didnt get the center pieces or the other pinata the daughter of the owner is a rude .. the customer service there is extremly poor... shes is the one that told me my items would be ready and took my money and when i went to pick them up she acts as if I wanted all these items for free questioning me whether i paid or not. I had my receipt and told her to refund my money and told everyone in the store that the place is horrible and if they want their items for the parties to go else where. I will NEVER return to this store or recommend it to anyone I know.

Today I had a little visit to Garcias party Store. It was the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered in my life. The owners daughter is extremely rude child. She works the counter unfortunately. It was a rainy day and instead of offering to help unload the chairs and tables I had rented, she simply said We dont help here you have to do everything yourself. Apolled I left the store, drenched from head to toe in the rain while she watched from inside the window. At the end of my visit I walked in and explained to her the poor attitude she presented me as a customer. She replied with a smurk, Have a nice day. Needless to say, I wont be going back there again and would never refver even my worst enemy to their poor services.Thank YOU, and have a nice day

Put down a deposit on a waterslide that they had already rented out.. Then agreed for another waterslide in place of the orginial one, the day of my party she brought me another waterslide that we didnt not agree on.. Then said she had confused the paperwork after we confirmed the order three time prior to the event!! Bad customer service she even threaten to take the waterslide back I was upset...

If you find someone from Craigslist its about 100 dollars cheaper for a tent atleast.

I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THE PLACE. THE LADY AT THE FRONT COUNTER IS RUDE AND HAS AN ATTITUDE. SHE ACTS LIKE IM BOTHERING HER. IF SHE DOESNT LIKE HER JOB SHE NEEDS TO LOOK FOR SOMETHING ELSE. I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW THEY HAVE STAYED OPEN. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. SHE RUINED MY WHOLE DAY.
