I generally refrain from most internet commenting of any kind as a matter of principle, but I felt quite compelled by their almost obscenely deserving merit to offer some choice words for Ace.My company found itself in a pinch from the failure of our former diamond plate purveyor a few months back, and I reached out to Ace to save us...honestly speaking, just because I liked the name. Turned out to be the best shallow business decision I’ve probably ever made. They’ve been nothing short of phenomenal, even going so far as to help me source material in which they have no business interest, saving me a lot of time and a generous volume of money. Though I directly deal with only the incomparable Esthela Fitzgerald, I have had the pleasure of at least saying hi and what not with most of the staff, and everybody is great. If all that’s not enough—the great pricing, unparalleled professionalism, and almost alarmingly chipper despite its industrial nature atmosphere—they also take care of the homeless neighborhood dogs that wander up, going so far as to find quite a few of them new, family homes.Buy metal from Ace. Even if their prices and attitude/s weren’t great, which—AGAIN—they very much are, I’d advise you to buy from them just because the interaction will make your day better.P.S. Please excuse any grammatical or punctuation errors due to fatigue. I spent all day desperately fitting an aluminum storefront door unit into an ancient, Frankenstein-ed structure. On a recent Friday, before lunchtime, I was made aware that a steel vendor could not deliver a much-promised order on time. I had dealt with Esthela Fitzgerald at Ace Steel Supply, a time or two in the past acquiring a customers urgent RFQ and Esthela always exemplified an attitude which was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and very diligent in delivering my quote in a timely manner. With this experience in mind, I felt comfortable soliciting her help with a replacement order. The order was over 12,000 ft of pipe and it was not a standard size making it extremely difficult to fill that size order yet she still only took 3 hours to locate the entire quantity and shoot a price over to me. I inadvertently discovered later that she had worked straight thru her lunch break because she took my crisis seriously. This type of attitude is Paramount for success and Ace Steel Supply is on my permanent radar solely due to the extraordinary efforts of one Esthela Fitzgerald! Thank you again!
