My daughters, 9 & 13, and I came across this shop on Google. They have unique pieces and various spiritual products. It smelled so heavenly and welcoming. The young lady who assisted us was extremely knowledgeable, patient with all of my questions, and very helpful. The crystal necklaces and bracelets we purchased are good quality and have nice weight to them. Were so glad we decided to stop by and well definitely be returning in the future!

My reason for visiting this shop, was to honor the Founder and Mother of my Son, LavitaRu a.k.s. Ayetunde Dara Ajanaku. The two attendees were very atune to the ethers of Mother Nature. The items they carry seems to provide something for everyone needs. I promise you want be disappointed, tuta!

I went to this lovely store in 2020 when I visited with my daughter and I now have a wonderful person Matea who has been very informative and patient with explaining all of the different herbs and which crystal are best for me. I have a delicious tea she made for me and I have my 2 cousin and a friend interested in learning more about the healthy way of caring for ourselves. This place has the best spiritual presence as soon as youbwalk through the door! Ive had a tarot reading which was sunspot on it scared the mess out of me...shes the real deal! I get my candles and some herbs and oils here. These ladies are so sweet and knowledgeable on there products. The best place in Houston for any of your spiritual items!

Going here has been such a life changer! Everyone in the shop contributes to a wonderful experience with good music and vibes. I love to buy my incense from here, my crystals and my herbs. I truly want to say thank you to Teah’s teas for supporting my mom! She recently gotten surgery which affected her reproductive system and Matea has helped her overcome many of the health issues typically seen. She also derived teas for my mom’s thyroid issues. Many of her blends have helped with my depression and anxiety when it comes to being a full time student and employee. I am beyond grateful for her presence because she has supported my family in more ways than one.

Good vibe if you are into crystals. It was my first time there and the lady answered all of my questions without getting frustrated. Super mellow, chill spot. I told her I was gonna read up on some stuff so I can know whats going on and come back when Ive educated myself on crystals. It smelled good in there and the energy was cool.

Was a nice shop. Had the candle we needed but didn’t allow me in with my service animal so my partner had to go in instead. It felt really rude to ask someone for “proof” of their disability/need for an animal, especially when the ADA states that service animals do not always need to be vested. However, this shop is really nice and had great items and vibes besides that—and perhaps if I’m let in with her next time I’ll be able to buy more.

Soon as you step in the vibe is AWESOME honey I felt my ancestors saying yasssssssss on the inside but I had to keep that to myself lol. I have been here a year and couldn’t find a “Black owned shop” but this gem is just everything and more. The ladies just radiate such great energy and I could go all out on my debit card in here lol which I plan on doing today!!!

So I’m new to Houston. And obviously into the metaphysical, and I’m learning. So I hopped on google and got to searching shops. I came across this one. Of course I read the reviews. Several of which stated the staff wasn’t that friendly and customer service may have been poor. And prices not so fair. I was skeptical, but as always in life, I judge for myself....I am all about supporting family and local businesses!Now to address the people stating the prices were unfair. Firstly, I would hope you know that these particular types of items, for lack of better term, are pricey regardless. I myself didn’t find prices to be too far from the expected. Sure maybe I could find my herb a dollar cheaper somewhere else. But I’d gladly pay double to support this family. And I think that’s what you have to be willing to accept and understand. This is a family just trying to make it. You wanna put your money towards that or whole sale on Amazon?!THIS SHOP IS AMAZING!As I mentioned before I am learning. As I stepped through the door, I needed a moment to adjust. The energy in this place was overwhelming, not in a bad way. In fact, I feel energy’s but I can’t sort them out yet. It just kinda turns into a anxiety. I came with intent and a list of items, and was only unable to find one thing. The herb selection is like none I had ever seen. The crystal/gemstone selection is pretty good as well. Every single staff member greeted me with warmness, and we even had some laughs. I am so so happy I found this hidden gem! I will gladly go back! My favorite part was walking out and it seemed like the head of their family gave me a personal fair well. The couple was busy carrying in supplies and was still so courteous! I can read the energy of everyone as soon as I make eye contact or if you look at me w/o me looking at u. So getting out the house is a task I only do when I feel like waisting that much energy and every time I come here I get energy thatll usually take me about 2days to build so although Im not necessarily a regular I am definitely a life longer just off that alone so give this place a chance and see what the universe has for you.

It was ok, cute, quaint but didnt really offer much. The people there didnt seem to friendly or like they wanted to help. Maybe it was just a fluke. I would suggest more product and more interaction

Best meta store ive been to here in texas by far. greeted by everyone with blessings. the atmosphere is thickly blessed and so are the people. along with their products they have a very organized yet diverse selection of everything by looking, wish i had more time to look around some more, so i will be back when i get the time. i definitely dont mind driving the extra miles to get the real quality & blessed products they provide

Quaint shop in 3rd ward, I called before I arrived and checking out was seamless. Service was prompt and delightful. I bought white sage for smudging and some incense and stones for meditation.

Referred to by a friend...loved it...a guy referred me to a bigger store then “our little red 1Shop” with more floor space and things like that ... anyway fast forward a couple months later, I decided to stop by that other place with the bigger selection... that trip was a waist of time,assembly line products it was almost sickening. I wanted to support black owned businesses. I’ve been to black cauldron before so I wanted to try this shop out. I’m really sad there was no greeting or acknowledgment that I walked in. My friend said hi 3 times and no response. I was tempted to just leave after that but I went ahead and bought something and THEN they were a bit more open.I went to black cauldron right after and the atmosphere is much more welcome. I hate that I have to deal with customer service like this from a black owned business. Don’t fall into the stereotype.

I’m Native American and am a very open and loving person so this was really weird and almost offensive. Also wanted to comment that I’ve never seen a owner of a business tell a paying customer who had a complaint they needed more self love. Interesting.

The shop had everything that I was looking for... a variety of oils, crystals, herbs, etc. The atmosphere and the ladies were so welcoming. Everyone there is knowledgeable, helpful, & gifted. I left feeling renewed and so much lighter than when I walked in. I will DEFINITELY be back.

New to town decided to try this shop for some smudge sticks. I purchase two 4” smudge sticks which were listed for $3.95 each on the site and I was charged around $11 a piece for a total of $22 for two 4” smudge sticks. I will never return!!!!I later called shop just to confirm I wasn’t over charged. Instead of taking responsibility the owner gave me attitude and insulted me. Very unprofessional/rude definitely a never again!!
