Its a great place to go , so many things to look at, especially the over head train. The personal are very helpful. The store is just a great place to go. I find things there that I didnt know I needed .

Ace has evolved with the times to become a combination of necessity hardware items to boutique, novelties and general out door related stuff. Pricing isnt too bad, there is a convenience price to be paid which you shouldnt mind if a couple bucks saves you a drive and half-mile walk through a giant store for a specific need. This store is a good size, the isles are a little tight but that allows them to have at least a couple choices for just about everything you need for the home project you have planned.

This is a clean, well lighted Ace Hardware store with good merchandise presentation.The store is well staffed with friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.They have a very nice selection of outdoor grills. Prices are a little higher than the big box home improvement stores. I dont mind paying a little more for the convenience

Took my Black& Decker hedger in to Ace because the screws that attached the handle had vibrated out and were lost. Had tried a couple other places but couldn’t find screws that would work or anyone really interested in helping me. That changed at Ace. Ryan asked could he help me as soon as I walked in then spent 20 minutes with me trying different size and length screws until we finally found some that worked. Ryan couldn’t have been more patient or helpful!! Employees like Ryan are the reason people go to Ace and leave 5 star reviews about their experience!!

They were awesome! They offered me help and were very knowledgeable. In fact, after I called about a product (they only had 2 left in store) they put one aside for me. Needed some glass cut. Had renters moving in and the store was 30 mins away. I checked the measurements before I left. The glass cutter had a great additude and it was a perfect fit.

We walked in looking for Weber grills. Benjamin (the grill salesperson) provided us with the most superb customer service. We ended up purchasing two Weber grills with all the accessories.

Really great selection and awesome staff that always help me when I have a problem. I’m not a handy person but they always walk me through how to fix stuff. They also have dogs for adoption in the front and I love seeing the dogs they have some being really exotic and cool.

Skip the big box stores. Memorial drive Ace has what you need when you can’t get it anywhere else. Very helpful staff who will get you to what you need. This was the only place to go during the Feb ‘21 winter storm to get plumbing supplies.

I have been able to find what I need here quickly, every time. Staff is friendly and makes sure you are finding what you need. This last visit, a staff member opened a register for me just so I didnt have to wait too long in checkout. I appreciate this level of service you dont seem to find anymore - which is sad. The selection is surprisingly good for a store this size.

I bought a diamond pro blade from here and wasnt the blade and fit i needed. I tried to return it with 3 days and got denied. I had the receipt and everything. Worst place to go buy tools for me

15 year client...and today...the most awful client experience ever. An experience I absolutely want to bring to the owners attention due to the gravity of the event.I have been a long time client of ACE Hardware on Memorial Drive. I always received the most professional and gentle support from all employees and spent quite significant amounts of money at this location.Unfortunately, todays experience totally erased 15 years of great customer satisfaction. As I was assisted by 2 young and very supportive employees, a gentleman showed up and took over the entire matter we were talking about. He immediately sounded extremely rude and arrogant which literally deeply embarrassed the 2 employees I was originally working with. I politely put up for a little while with the individuals rudeness until I could not take it anymore. I consequently told him that, as a client, I did not have to bear with this outrageous attitude and would prefer to keep discussing my technical request with the 2 young employees. He then brutally turn around and walk back to the repair shop of the store. This disastrous customer experience could have ended up right there...but as he was walking towards the repair shop , he said out loud and in a very provocative ton that no item could be returned (as if I did not know the ACE policies after 15 years purchasing at this location)...and the cherry on top...told me that he even had the right not to sell to me!. I was absolutely stunned and asked one of the young employees who this person was. His answer left me totally speechless when he told me that he was...the MANAGER!!!I am 55 and have seen and experienced multiple situations...but I have to admit that this is the most astonishing and unpleasant customer experience I ever went through.It is definitely with sadness, as all other employees and the owner (I spoke with him once) are all great people, that I decided today that I would never set a foot again in this store. I would rather find another ACE location or make my purchases at GRAINGER.Thank you,Eric

We are supporters of neighborhood businesses especially during times like this. We’ve been shopping here for almost 15 yrs. We placed a curbside pick up order In the afternoon and the manager called to apologize that they were about to close for the day and wouldn’t have it ready until the next morning. He was super sweet and it was totally understandable.The employees at this store are always very helpful and they always remember us when we come in.We will continue to shop and support this store.

One of my favorite store for my home repair projects. Typically when its something I need urgently, Ace usually always has it. The staff is always eager to help. Definitely love this store and its staff.

Very helpful people at all levels/positions. I bought a Weber Gas grill on one visit, then came back following week to buy a natural gas valve and they were equally helpful/attentive. And knowledgeable! Even the deliver guys with the grill were very friendly and careful.

Surprised they are still around. Little pricier than the Big stores but expert customer service does exist in Houston

I bought a third party key from amazon for my truck and took it to Ace to get cut. For $30 they cut the key. It is so over cut it is now useless. I went back the next day and pointed out how over cut the key is. The first employee agreed and was sympathetic but stated there was nothing they could do. I spoke to an owner. I again pointed out that his employee yesterday had badly bungled the cut. He told me they do not warrant third party keys. I told him that was the first time I had been informed of that. He told me that I had been informed. He wasnt there so I am not sure how he is sure of that. Honestly I expected they wouldnt warrant the key, but again, the key is blatantly over cut. His employees actions rendered the key unusable. He wouldnt even offer credit for the key cut portion much less the money I am out for the truck blank. Just in tha past month I have spent a few hundred dollars there. I guess I will drive to Home Depot now.

Beware. This place does not honor manufacturer return policy. I bought a battery powered tool for which manufacturer offers a 30 day money back policy. But Ace hardware refused to accept the return and the manger told me to deal with Manufacturer and they won’t honor the stated policy in the manufacturer website. As an authorized dealer, they do not even stand behind the manufacturer promise. Big box hardware stores are way too easy to deal with in such cases. No more shopping at Ace.

It’s rare that I give 5 star ratings, because it should signify extraordinary service. I give Ace on Memorial this rating because their staff is just that. They go the extra mile to ensure that you have a great experience. They are knowledgeable and helpful. My most recent experience was this summer when I needed a new grill. After 17 years, my existing grill had finally fallen apart. Not only did Ace deliver and set up the grill I purchased, they also took my old grill away. They also showed me how to use the new one. I’d give them 6 stars if I could.

Its a decent place. They have some good choices. The staff is helpful, but maybe not the most knowledgeable. I really like the fact that there are a lot items, not found in the store, that you can order online and pick up from the store to avoid delivery charges. I dont like that it seems like everything is made in China and not the best quality.

I go there every now and then mainly because of convenience due to its proximity and nothing more. Everything is overpriced and a few of the employees are as rude and arrogamt as can be. Specially a Cole guy who seem to think being a clerk at some store somehow makes him superior or special.Ill try to stay away for good.

Customer service has always been very important, especially for a small business. No matter how big Ace Hardware gets, they remain focused on recruiting the best and brightest individuals to the team. I had a pleasant experience at my local Ace Hardware today when two young men went above and beyond to find the correct light bulb for my home appliance. to an untrained eye, light bulbs begin to look the same. Jorge and Ashton took the additional steps of google searching the appliance with me and ensuring it was the correct wattage before I purchased the bulb. They saved me Time, one of the most valuable resources of all.

I do not like to give a bad opinion of a place where I have gone before, but this is the second time that I have come to this place and the treatment of someone who seems to be the manager is quite rude with his response to not having a fitting for an air system, without even looking that it is a simple 1/2 fitting. the staff that works here is quite friendly, but the managers just the opposite.......Im sorry....

Customer service centered business plan! There has not been a time when I walked in for some odd part or random fixture and was greeted with a Welcome to Ace Hardware. Can I help you find something?. Home Depot is far enough away for me to not want to deal with the drive, traffic, and whatever else gets in the way.Granted the mark up a higher than that of the other big box retailers. Ace itself appears to be another large corporation. I found out that many of the stores are actually franchises that are locally owned. As a home improvement novice it is good to know that it is around the corner from my place. Recently I had a fuse go out at my house. An electrician expert was there to help me figure out the type of fuse I needed as well as the model. We settled on a arc fault type because of my house fire paranoia.Ace has come a long way from the down and out local hardware store it was a decade ago. They absolutely beat their competitors on customer service and available experts.

Much need gloves, because I have sensitive skin. These gloves protect my hands from dishwashing liquid and hot water, which I use to wash my dishes with. So far I have only bought them at Ace hardware store.
