Instead of buying plumbing equipment from my country, this is the perfect place for it for best quality. They were amazingly helpful and gave me a few tips of each. Each part you buy from there really deserve its price instead of buying generic tools monthly!

Business is in downtown area, I didnt realize it was there. Staff was very helpful and they actually had what we were looking for. The product loaders also very nice and professional. This place has a good vibe, will come here again.

Needed a Stiebel Elton electronic water heater. Melvin checked his stock and unfortunately didn’t have it but called around, located it, brought it over to his own shop same day, and charged me the same price as online stores. Good service. Great people. Glad to have met Melvin and everyone else.

The staff went above and beyond helping me this afternoon at 4:50pm. They got me my parts that I needed and were helpful to all the customers. He got us all in. Staff was very helpful thank god for these people there are still good people out there.

Called in advance to verify that they had the parts that I needed and drove from Clear Lake to pick them up. The person on the phone didnt bother to verify it was in stock and I made a trip and stood in line for 2 hours for nothing! CITY PLUMBING is MUCH better and will actually verify that they have items in stock before you drive out. I am NEVER using Universal Plumbing again

During our recent power outage and winter stlr. This place and their nice staff stayed HOURS passed closing to help us houstonians in need! Reading all these reviews of how good they are just seem soooo fake! They were not helpful and just treat you dumb. They didnt have any stock of anything, just a big waste of time coming here.

You need a tough outer shell to handle the politically incorrect banter that Congress between the counter crew and customers, but they are by far the best stocked and most helpful plumbing store within this City!

Incompetent, unorganized and zero ability to use technology (a computer). If you need to order something you have ordered before... good luck. Everyone that answers the phones will transfer you until they put you on hold or hang up. Then, they will increase the price of the items if they are busy.

These guys have anything related to plumbing. I recently purchased a house built in the 1960s. The plumbing bathroom faucets and toilets are in need of TLC. Universal Plumbing Supply helped me match items that are almost 60 years old. They are knowledgeable and reasonably priced. For old, one of a kind, or hard-to-find items, this is the place to go. When I wanted to install a new master suite they even helped me with a quality toilet for just over $100.

Homeowner with HVAC background. Was looking for parts for my busted water heater, Melvin quoted be a good price on a new one instead so I went with that. Service at parts counter was good, made sure I left with everything I needed (including the CPVC cement I would have forgot for sure).Now, understand that this is an industry guys part shop. If you know generally what you want, they will help you get to the right product. If you are there to get Water Heaters 101 at the counter, you might want to call for general info and do some reading on products first. Still - I would recommend this shop for general tools, parts, and hardware for homeowners who can do their own work. If not - call your local plumbing contractor and save yourself.

I was told that certain plumbing terminology was actually house hold language, then put me on hold because this particular individual could not be bothered. Had a piping problem that nobody at my office or a hardware store could figure out. Took it here and they fixed it in seconds, and immediately helped with other sections of the project. Id pay for just their advice, but they have every adapter and plumbing equipment anyone could possibly need. Will come back again anytime.

Fantastic customer service- they helped me disassemble our clogged up modern kitchen faucet. It was not a brand they service or stock parts for. Nevertheless, Travis & company helped me resolve a problem without charging a dime. They came up with a solution long term that didnt involve a new $450 faucet. Great place!

Absolutely rediculous the guy didnt want to help me at all just looked at me like I was crazy... project consisted of plumbing 1 sink with a 1 1/2 drain... I also need 1/2 angle stops... went to hopeless depot and got it in 5 min... never will I go here... if this place was on fire I wouldnt even pee on it
