I am giving his company a 3 star rating because I feel that the price I paid for the work done was excessive. I had backed into my garage door knocking it off track and pulling the door open off the mount. Plus I thought I was having a sensor problem because prior to knocking door off track I was having problems with door closing without multiple attempts. There was nothing wrong with the sensors but adjustment needed on opener. No parts were use to fix the problem and the guy was at my house about 45 mins - an hour. Cost me $370 and that was with $155 discount. I guess I could have objected to the price prior to the work but since they give a price prior to the work actually being done and then charging based on the time and work done it is hard to know. The work done was not $370 worth of work in my opinion. The technician himself was polite, courteous and on time.

Alex was great! As soon as he walked in to the garage he spotted the problem. He got to work right away and finished very quickly. They were very prompt on when they arrived and just overall great service.

I was again very happy with the service & promptness of service. I called this morning & had service almost immediately. Brendon was very courteous & explained thoroughly my options. My door opener was very old & well used so I knew it would eventually need replacement. He got right to work & cleaned the garage floor after installment. He even programmed the remote on my car. I can’t say enough good things about him & his company. I am very pleased.

Rick was the young man who came and repaired my garage door. He was friendly and courteous and on time. He explained what he needed to do and had it repaired and operating much quieter and smoother than it was before it broke down. Buyers beware! The technician came to the house quickly but charged me $387 for replacing a cable. The price was much more than I had expected . Worse, that was not the root cause of the problem. The problem persisted after the technician left. I had to get him to come back on the next day. As it turned out it needed a new belt! He suggested replacing the entire unit which would cost another $500 as the manufacturer no longer manufactures the parts. Decided to call another company to replace the belt

They will promise you a warranty and during the warranty period will charge you for service calls and then tell you it isnt warrantied because it isnt their fault. I went with them years ago from the reviews. Be careful.

Very professional. Richard knew what he needed to do and was finished with in an hour! He also took the time to make sure my garage door was aligned and that the track bar for the garage door opener was fasten to the wall correctly. I had both of my garage doors replaced by Garage Door Doctor. One was a double garage door and the other was a single garage door. They gave me an accurate and fair quote over the phone. Springs and cables. They courtesy phoned twice before arriving, on time. They brought what was needed for the job, and were done in under 1.5 hrs. Their phone qoute was $325, my bill was $325. No games. Yes, I was impressed. Any future garage needs, should be handled by Garage Door Doctor, and no one else.

We have a residential-style garage door on our business (leads out to a dog walking area).Will not work with businesses, only homeowners, apparently. Very silly.Lady on phone was polite and friendly, but the fact that they will not take money from another business is strange. Nothing about this door is different from the one on any home.No problem, sending our business elsewhere.

I called to get someone to diagnose my 25 + year old garage door opener. Two techs arrived 2 hours later, checked out my old opener and told me what I already knew....I needed to replace it. The two men who came were able to do it in less than an hour. They had a new Lift Master unit ready to install in their truck. Budget friendly! Both were wearing masks the entire time and practiced social distancing making me feel at ease. They answered all my questions and explained the features and functions and handed me the manual. I’m most excited that I can download an app and open/close the door from my phone. The unit has a great warranty on the motor!! I highly recommend this company!!

I called this company to replace old garage doors on my rental house. We had a scheduled time and date I paid a half deposit which was $850.00 my renter advised me Action garage doors contacted them and were not going to be out til the next week because of an injured employee. I called and explained this was a time sensitive thing and need the doors before my tenant moves into the house. They were firm they could not be out til the following week. I advised them to refund my deposit and I would go with a different company and they insisted we work this out because they did not want to loose my business. I advised them to knock off $200 from the haul away fee which is $500 and they REFUSED!!! I was no longer willing to do business with these people and I advise you not to either. This was a simple process and Im easy to work with, I hold my end up and I expect the company I choose to hold theirs up as well. If they drop the ball the only fix is a reasonable discount and they wouldnt do it to satisfy a customer.

This is a great and trustworthy company. They are one of the few that under promise and over perform. We have a single and a double door with automatic openers. The home is 25 years old and the doors are used a lot!When we had a problem (spring broke), I knew I needed someone in the business and had to have it repaired quickly as we were leaving town and I could not leave with the door in that condition. I got lucky when I chose Action. Fabien came out within two hours and had everything completed within an hour. The price was much less than I was expecting and the door worked great. Six weeks later, the cable came off the roller due to an obstruction (my fault) on the railing. Fabien was out again and the repair was done quickly and professionally. I give them 5 stars for their professionalism, promptness, friendliness, pricing and ability.

Richard was very prompt and efficient. I had to get the springs replaced as well as put all the cabling back into place. He finished in an hour. It has lifetime warranty for the springs. I am not sure how the price compares to other places because I’ve never had to do repairs to a garage door before, but I think the price would be average. Am happy to have this done!

Even went above and beyond and upgraded a couple of parts of my old garage free of charge, as wells as lubricated all moving parts. Best of all, it was very reasonably priced.

Called over a week ago, got an appointment for 3 days later, they called the day of the appointment to say they couldn’t make it. Then the reschedule day called at 4:14 to say 15 mins away. Then I called at 5:05, they said any second. I finally gave up at 5:45 and hired another company.

The Technician Richard was by far one of the most professional guys I have worked with. I do not want this review to reflect his professionalism, punctuality or expedient nature. Well done Richard.The company however completely misrepresented themselves and had my family inconvenienced for weeks. We purchased what we were told was the top of the line opener and purchased the 5 year no frills warra6or so we thought. When something went wrong we were given the run around to contact the manufacturer for replacement parts that we were unsure would work or not. We had to continually contact Action to get responses while being the inconvenienced party. Kelly and Chris constantly told us in effect that the warranty was not actu6a warranty. We were directed to contact the manufacturer to receive replacement parts which we would have expected them to do so on our behalf since our original agreement was with them. After running that gambit they graciously sent out Richard (who again was great) but charged us an additional 185 for replacement parts on a u it that was said to have a 5 year warranty on parts and motor. Thanks, but I think Ill pass.
