I had scheduled an appointment through their website for Dr. Tou, as my mother had recommended him to me. I called in this morning to confirm if my insurance was covered for in network coverage and the front desk had verified my insurance and appointment with Dr. Tou for this upcoming Saturday. I received a call late afternoon that my appointment was canceled because Dr. Tou was no longer accepting new patients due to retirement. I further questioned why appointment listing for Dr. Tou was available on the website and why was there no mention of this statement after all they had confirmed my appointment this morning. Front desk was rude and unapologetic about the confusion and further raised her voice at me saying Dr. Tou was still accepting patients but I had to have visited in the last 5 years. Overall, bad experience as they had cancel my appointment after they had confirmed my appointment through call the same morning.

Been coming to the same location now for over 20 years. First with Dr. Tou and now with Dr. Bhakta. They have a courteous and knowledgeable staff that run a clean, inviting office with all proper hygiene protocols. Dr. Bhakta is detailed oriented and meticulous in her examination with a friendly attitude. As for wait time it all depends time/day you book. Ive never had to wait for more than 5-10 minutes.

My appointment went over smoothly. The Office staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. I appreciate Maria for taking her time to be thorough with my exam and listening to my concerns. Dr. Bhatka was so kind and Listened intently. Her bedside manner was impeccable.They Take VSP and i also walked out with contacts and a pair of Versace glasses. they have many designers to choose from. Highly Recommend

I came at the recommendation of my parents. Weve been struggling to find a doctor that didnt say we need to buy everything under the sun. I ended up with the same doctor as my parents which was lovely because it felt as if she already knew me! The staff is absolutely wonderful and kind. They gave me a ton of frame recommendations that fit my face and looked good on me rather than just telling me what frames I should buy. They were super patient with me and let me pick what I wanted. They werent even mad that I wanted to keep my frames and only get new lenses. We talked through what was the best option to use my insurance. It was such a great experience. I highly recommend coming to this location!

I had my annual exam at Vision Source with Dr. Bhakta. Dr. Bhakta is a great eye doctor and is very friendly and easy to talk with. The staff there is very helpful and everyone is very professional and safe with proper protocols in place at all times. I cannot recommend Dr. Bhakta and her staff at Vision Source any higher! I have been going to this location for my exams and glasses since 2017 and I am glad that I did.

Even one star is way too much for his place. I went there few years ago and believe probably many of these reviews are from years ago.1- Without any public information they disappeared for a conference in Novemberwith no response - with an answering service which was either busy, or not picking up or most frustratingly nicely pleasantly useless.2- They claim to modify their visitation policy due to Coronavirus which seems like a joke as their staff are most unreliable with the basic CDC and state recommendations.3- No concept of timely responseAll I needed is for their so called technician to replace the missing screw on my glasses. 21 days and counting. I am a frontline provider for COVID in ICU, working 12 to 16 hours at times. Without my glasses prescribed for astigmatism, 2 to 3 times per week with Migraine attack!!I rarely write reviews but I felt it is my public duties to share my very poor experience so my fellow Houstonians are well aware of this fraudulent activities.SHAME ON YOU, Premier Optometry! You are a lie! Regret ever coming there!

My experience here was great! The doctor was very professional and made me feel comfortable. (Dr. Bhakta )I appreciated being told what I needed and things I could have but werent necessary.

My visit was great the receptionists were great and very polite. Dr.Bhakta was awesome she explained everything to me what exactly I needed to do. She was very patient and took her time in showing me my test.

I’ve been putting off getting glasses and muddling through life with cheaters. I really feel relieved that my eyes are relatively healthy and that I will be looking at the world with 20/20 vision again with glasses. Very professional and kind staff; Dr. B is fantastic. They didn’t even have to dilate my eyes. Do yourself a favor, make an appointment and make things sharp and clear again.

My family has been coming to Dr. Tou at Vision Source for many, many years now, and weve always been very pleased with the service that we get here. I once got a pair of glasses where one lenss focal area was off, so I couldnt see clearly except when I looked up at about 11 oclock through the lens. Even though their test machine showed that it was fine, they sent it back and had a new one made for me. This last visit, my son and I saw Dr. Bhakta, and she was very pleasant to work with. She was great with my young son. I highly recommend Vision Source.

I have been going to Dr. Tou since the early 90’s when moving to Houston. He has done a great job of keeping me equipped with what I need. Since getting diabetes he has advised me of the condition of my eyes regarding my diabetes and also when it was appropriate to have my cataracts removed and a great referral to do so. The staff has always been friendly and efficient. Dr. Tou is a true gentleman and after all these years I consider him a friend.

I visited this location last week. I went there to look for a designer frame I had seen on line. When I arrived I was greeted with a warm friendly smile from the girls at the front desk. My kids and i have been coming to Vision Source Westchase for over 4 yrs and every time it’s a good experience. I usually have an appointment but I needed to be seen for severe eye pain once. When I called to see I could be seen in the same day , they stated they were completely booked but they were willing to accommodate me. Most doctors office will not take into consideration how the patient feels, they do. The young ladies at the front are always so nice, helpful, patient and professional. It says a lot about a place when you see the same faces for years. I highly recommend Vision Source Westchase.

I am very difficult to fit in contact lenses. I have an impossible prescription, so much that the lens expert at Kelsey Seybold slammed my file down and gave up. The best thing I have ever done was to go to Vision Source. Dr. Bhakta gave me a thorough eye examination and I trusted her results more so than the Kelsey doctor. She ordered trial lenses as mine are always special order. She ordered three more trial packages and let me try those. She was patient with my finicky eyes and she never gave up on me. After a couple of months we finally found the perfect ones. Imagine me being able to see my phone! And see to drive! My near as well as far vision is hard to fit but she knew what to do. Yesterday she and I agreed that we had found The Ones and I ordered them. If you think that you are an impossible case like me, theres a doctor for you. Ill never let anyone else fit my contacts.

I lucked up on finding Dr. Bakhta when she was working at a practice in Sam’s and I knew immediately that I’d found the optometrist for me, so when she joined the Vision Source practice I followed. Dr. Bakhta is very knowledgeable regarding her craft, she’s kind and I she makes me feel very comfortable when asking any questions regarding my exams and my astigmatism issues. On top of Dr. Bakhta I’ve also had a chance to work with another optometrist there, Dr. Lin, and the eye care associates at the store, what an awesome crew!!! Everyone there is always nice, friendly, and very helpful when asking questions about insurance, getting the best lenses I need and finding the glasses for me. Yeah they’re stuck with me, I know a good thing when I’ve found it! 😊

If Dr Tou ever retires, I am going to be absolutely devastated! I’ve been seeing him for over 20 years and there’s no better optometrist that I have found. Over the years, I have tried a handful of vision centers closer to my office and closer to my home, but they can’t ever get my contact prescription correct. So I drive 60 miles round trip to Vision Source and it’s worth it. Dr Tou is the best in the business!

Dr. Bhakta is different than many because she genuinely cares. I went there a week ago (without an appointment but the incredible staff was able to fit me in, thnx) thinking that it was going to be the same same because my eye was lacerated everywhere but she actually took time to address every aspect of my care. She recommended me to daily contacts which I never thought b4 and has worked out beautifully. Thank you Dr. Bhakta and the staff at vision source!!

Ive been coming here for what must be 10 years now and I wont go anywhere else ever again. I did visit a different VS one time due to moving out of the area but I was so unhappy with them that the next year I came back here, Im willing to drive a little farther to get much better service.

Went as a new patient to have an eye exam. I woke up that day with a bloodshot eye and they were extra careful with the examination. I didnt feel any irritation from the process. In the end, i was given my diagnosis and they were honest, stating that glasses werent needed but a small prescription could help with some blurriness. Prices are disclosed and staff was very friendly. I have found my new eye dr

I had 2 glasses purchased in this store which have quality issues of lens. After using for a while with normal care, the lens was blurry and coating was scratched. do believe the vendor of lens does not provide quality products

I been coming to this practice for years! They are very friendly & professional. I had 2 eye emergencies that they kindly were able to accommodate and fit me in the same day. Since my Dr was getting ready to retired and his schedule wasn’t as flexible as mine I decided to finally try the other dr in the practice, and I couldn’t be happier! I thought I had to look for another dr once mine retires, but nop! I just found my new dr right in there Dr. Bhakta was very knowledgeable and explain everything in detail, plus she has a great pleasant personality. Definitely I will continue coming for my eye care needs.

I have spent so much money at this facility. They can never get my glasses as they charged me. I have Insurance and I still pay a large amount out of my pocket. They never called to say my glasses are ready. I called. Go to pick them up the eye glasses has dark circles on them ,that can not be removed. I have to wait for them to send for another set of lens. The shades are horrible. I asked that they make them black, I can see my eyes thru the lens. The sun was bright in my eyes. I paid for everything that was available for the glasses and shades. I will never use this establishment again. Still dont have the eye glasses.

The staff AT THE FRONT are RUDE!!! I felt like I was bothering them to do their job. One minute my insurance covers it, next I walk in they are asking for money. As if my insurance covering it will effect their paycheck. I dont plan on going back anymore. They may need to take a course in customer service. A smile never hurt anyone!

Dr. Lin Tou was very helpful, he explains in details about the pros and cons, possible side effects.

Take my advice dont go there everytime I went there and come out my vision gets worse and worse the doctor kept putting eye drops and it made my eyes so bad I cant see it was fine before but after the eye drops my glasses went to thin to coke bottles. And let me tell you about the contacts price every time I order 1 box they raise the price up and im paying almost $1000 just 1 box no limit time no solution. Last the service I try to make a call i was only a teenager with no driver lisence or a car some Asian lady call i ask her about reills on contacts she threw a ATTITUDE saying I have to drive up there twice a day and pay with a credit card I told her I dont have a ride and a card she yell at me on the phone saying NO YOU LISTEN TO ME AND DO WHAT I SAY! I call the manager she didnt do anything just said I know how it feels with no card and why because its to far for you to drive? Seriously who the hell tells a teenager that. Take my advice go to walmart that what I did I only pay $100 for contacts unlimited for 1 year it was worth it and better service. These people from vision source will treat you like CRAP!
