I always have a great experience when I come here! The doctor and staff is always super friendly! The whole place has a positive vibe! They always get me in and out in a very quick time manner which I love! The place is clean and tidy! I recommend this place to everyone!

30 mins late. And no one said anything until I spoke up. I made an appointment for a reason. If you can charge $25 for a no show you should then be mindful of peoples time that made an appointment and showed up. I was about to leave and go else where. My time is just as valuable as your company time.

Dr. Nishi Mehdiratta was great, but I’m disappointed that my insurance wasn’t verified prior to my appointment. No one called me about my insurance before my appointment and when I got there I had to ask about it. Once provided, I assumed everything was good. No, after going through my entire appointment I was told my insurance wasn’t accepted and I had to pay out of pocket. An expense I wasn’t prepared to make. It’s unfortunate because I like going to this eye doctor, but the negligence in regards to my finances and insurance is enough for me to not come back next year.

Hospitality was top notch. Transition from entry to prep room to exam room was absolutely smooth from start to finish. This clinic is very much aware of the pandemic and I greatly appreciated their clear communication and their sanitation protocol for both their clinic and also all the guests entering. They really took great care of us. I was in and out quickly with little wait between prep and actual exam. I felt very educated about my eye exam results and expectations moving forward. Will definitely stick to this clinic for every future eye exam.

I have been with them for 2+ years... If all you need is a quick annual eye check, then you are okay. Otherwise, if you ever end up being referred to another place, be prepared to go in there with no information at all (even when you try to get as much information as you can before going for the referral) and never getting your results or next cause of action explained to you even after calling over and over to figure out what is happening. I never even got to talk to Dr. Nishi to explain what was happening.Thank you to the front desk person... I know you do the best you can.

I have a variety of issues with my eyes (glaucoma, cataracts). I was able to discuss them with the OD and she was very knowledgeable about my concerns. I really appreciated the time she took with me.

Great group of people here. Ive been wearing glasses and/or contacts for over 20 years so Ive seen my share of eye doctors and can confidently say theyre one of the top places Ive visited. I have astigmatism and some doctors in the past have struggled with the right contact lens fitting but they were spot on the first time which is important to me because my contacts always have to be special ordered. They have also done a great job adjusting to covid by controlling patient flow and sanitizing everything. Highly recommended!

We scheduled a same day appointment to be seen in the afternoon. We received a call stating that they were running behind by an hour and asking if we could come then. When we came at the recommended time, we were told that we were LATE and essentially turned away and treated as if we were in the wrong. We sat in the parking lot for 30 minutes, only to be told we were late! We called and asked to speak to the office manager to understand how something like this happens, only to find out that it was the office manager who treated us so poorly and hung up on us. Patients come to you because they have a problem, and many take off work for appointments. To be treated with so little regard and to be reminded that you’re ‘closing soon’ was more than disappointing. We have decided to take our business elsewhere, as this is not how new patients should be treated. We will not be returning or referring anyone to this location!!!!

The dr is very nice and easy to talk to. The front desk staff are also really great and easy to get along with. I hadnt been to the eye Dr in about a decade and Im glad I went here!

Dr. Nashi goes above and beyond to take care of her patients. She always takes the time to fully explain everything. She is also well connected to other specialist in the Houston medical community. I have serious pre-existing eye issues due to a sports injury. I feel more than comfortable in Dr. Nashi’s care.

Had to get an adjustment to one lens and repeat eye exam. Repeat exam and adjustment is free if within 30 days of purchase.

I have been coming to Luxe Eye Care for years. They are professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. The pandemic has only highlighted their awesomeness: they are so careful, adhering to social distancing, enforcing the use of PPE equipment for staff and patients.

My eye exam was fabulous! I made my appointment a few days prior. Within a day I was sent information about my experience when it was time for my appointment. It laid out everything I needed to know. I was able to add my appointment to my calendar so I would not forget. I received a call to confirm my appointment as well as a text the day prior to remind me. When I arrived the day of my appointment I was to get checked in super quick as I had already put all my information in online. The exam was quick and they were very informative. They sanitized very thoroughly. Kate and Dr. Mehdiratta were so sweet and made the process easy as pie. I will definitely be using them from now on and will recommend them highly.

I could not see out of the contacts that was ordered. I couldnt read signs, I had trouble driving--very scary! I didnt have an appointment but I travel for work and this was my only opportunity to address the issue. The Dr. N saw me and heard my concern, frustrations, and fear. She didnt just brush me off but indeed took my issue seriously looked at my eyes and helped to remedy the problem with a new pair of contacts. I cant tell you how much this means to me--and how I will be a customer for life! Actions truly speak louder than words!!

I felt compelled to write this review to prevent anyone else from having the experience with Luxe Eye Care I recently had.I work in healthcare and understand the impact public reviews can have on a business-I did not write this on a whim and attempted to address my concerns with staff and management privately, to no avail.I had my eyes checked and while checking out, the receptionist asked if I was interested in contacts. I said maybe-it wasnt the reason I was there but had thought about them before but never worn them. She said she would order me some trial lenses and I could come back for a contact lens fitting.I returned a week later, popped the trial lenses in, and was given a quick eye test-by an optometrist I didnt recognize. Immediately upon putting the contacts in, they were really uncomfortable and things looked very blurry. I told the optometrist my concerns and she said my vision was fine and my brain would get used to it. The visit lasted all of 5 minutes.I went to check out and the receptionist said that I owed $700 for my years supply of contacts. Shocked, I asked if I had to order a whole year-keep in mind, Ive never worn contacts before. She said I could order 6 months but I wouldnt get a rebate. I agreed to the 6 months thinking that would the only other option and considering I wasnt the only person in the waiting area, I handed her my credit card. She said the lenses would be shipped to my house.Later that day, my vision was still incredibly blurry, and the lenses were painful to the point I had to take them out after 5 hours. After thinking more about the experience, I decided the lenses werent for me and I would just keep wearing glasses. I called first thing the next morning, less than 24 hours after my appointment and requested to cancel the order. The woman I spoke with agreed my experience was strange-she confirmed that normally, people are given trial lenses to wear for several days before placing an order. I told her I had worn them for 5 minutes, wasnt given any options to try a different lens or to wear them for a few days before ordering, or to order a smaller quantity. She said she would talk to the manager who wasnt there but she would follow up with me.I got a call the next day from the manager, Kate, who listened to my concerns. She explained that I saw an optometrist who was covering for my regular optometrist, as though that made this ok. I told her I tried to express my concerns over the contacts and was quickly shuffled to the front to pay. Kate said her hands were tied and there wasnt anything she could do since their policy isnt to accept returned contacts. I called as soon as I could to cancel the order-I find it hard to believe the order couldnt have been stopped, eliminating the need to return them. Kate did say she would talk to the doctor and see if there was anything they could do. After not getting a call back, I called Kate again and requested a return call. She did respond, again telling me they wouldnt return the contacts, or refund my money. However, I was welcome to make another appointment to try other lenses.I have no desire to return to try contact lenses again. Its clear to me this practice doesnt care about the quality of the care they provide or their patient experience.Kates condescending tone (she called me honey several times) and her inability to take responsibility for anything that transpired was insulting and unfortunate. Its very obvious the focus was on collecting $700 from me-not on making sure I could see when I left. Why call them trial lenses if I get to try them for 15 minutes before I buy them? Its strange I was told thats not how things should have gone by someone who works there.I would not recommend this facility to anyone, ever. Please find another place to get your eyes checked-there are lots of options in Houston where you will not be misled, spoken down to, ignored, and taken advantage of.

The staff is super friendly and very welcoming. I had a same day appointment made, of which I ended up having to change the time, and they were quick as well as helpful. I will continue to go here regardless of how far the distance may be in the future. The doctor was also very sweet and informative, without being pushy. She understood my concerns and provided me with extra knowledge for my ease of mind. Deserves nothing less than 5 stars all around!! Thank you guys so much!

Very friendly staff, quick service and overall pleasant experience. I loved having the option to choose a digital exam of my eyes versus dilation that would impact the rest of my day. The staff were wonderful and very thorough in their COVID precautions! The exam was the smoothest, most painless one I’ve ever had, and they had me in and out in under 40 minutes. Thanks Dr. Mehdiratta and team!!

The wait wasnt long which was nice, and the doctor to came to see me pretty quickly after the initial exams. The only issue I had was that I was forced to use the retina machine that was 40 dollars extra rather than the eye dilation that was covered by my insurance.

I went for a quick eye exam today. First, everyone there was friendly and despite me not knowing anything about my insurance, other than it was the same as my wifes, they figured it out and took care of it. This probably the first time Ive said Wow, cool at an Optometrists Office. I opted for the Optomap Retinal Imaging instead of having my eyes dilated. What I really got was really neat, Dr. Nishi explained to me how my eyes were healthy by looking at the pictures and how they can often see issues before they could tell otherwise, like how they can spot diabetes and a few other things that I dont recall. Another cool thing is that picture is saved and can be referred to over time. Also, I was able to get right back to driving and doing work on a computer just as I left the office. Ill be back here for sure!

They were very pleasant and professional. I look forward to seeing them again.

This was my very first time visiting Luxe Eye Care and I was very satisfied and thrilled with the Customer Service and Professionalism that I experienced. This was a last minute appointment at 4:15 and I was out at 4:45 and can see a lot better!!!! Lol. I loved my visit here for two reason - it was fast and it was easy. I was a walk-in despite having an appointment for a later time in the day because of some family travel issues. Regardless, I waited only about five minutes before a friendly assistant fulfilled my pre-exam, and by the time the doctor saw me I had been there all of fifteen minutes. They cared about my input and what I knew of my own experience with contacts and glasses, and helped me avoid dilation and didn’t pressure me into add-on examinations with very expensive equipment. I love coming here for the friendliness, but I’m happier about my visit because of the ease and efficiency of the medical staff.

Gone are the days of telling them if “1, or 2” is clearer over and over and over! High tech gadgets made my exam really fast and easy. They offer a few different options as well to check for eye health in addition to the regular exam —I opted to do this as macular degeneration runs in my family. Well worth it in my opinion to know your baseline for future visits.

Professional staff. Nice and welcoming. I have serious issues with my eyes and odd mannerisms due to my eyes. I often feel marginalized and judged upon walking into a room. I was greeted with a smile and respect. My visit was pleasant and I felt heard and valued!

Once I stepped into the office, I was greeted right away by Kate and Kathy.What sets this office apart from the rest, is their staff and the equipment. This is one location that carry Clarifye, which accurately gets your contact lens or glasses prescription in less than a minute. They also have Optomap Retinal Imaging to check for the health and any abnormalities of the eye without the side effects of dilation! I was in and out of the office in a timely matter.Dr. Nishi does a great job at explaining my particular situation clearly with a high level of respect and sophistication that some other doctors do not give. She was even willing to answer all my questions and concerns. I am grateful she helped me on my journey from dry and inflammed eyes to healthy ones!Everyone was upbeat, friendly, and professional. I had a poor experience with Dr. Nishi Mehdiratta at Luxe Eye Care. The doctor recommended bifocals and rushed through the appointment that I didnt even have time to ask any questions about this life-changing development. I wanted to ask many questions but she was in such a hurry to get to her company Christmas party that I didnt get to ask them. She didnt even tell me what strength reading glasses to get. Her exact words were : Any pair of drug store glasses will do. Ive never worn them before so I had many questions like should I wear them with my contacts, should I wear them over my prescription glasses, when should I not wear them. She rushed me out of her appointment and then spent 15 minutes explaining to the office assistant how to get to the Christmas party in Highland Village. When I got to the drug store, there were so many different strengths of reading glasses that I just bought the lowest strength without knowing what was my prescription. She didnt even tell me that. With an understrength pair of reading glasses, i suffered even more eye strain again the next day. I didnt find out what my correct reading glasses strength was until I called back and asked the assistant. Luxe Eye Care, what a b****!Dr. Nishi wrote a response claiming she gave me a prescription with reading glasses strength. That is completely untrue. I was given no such thing. I have the prescription to prove it.

Went to LensCrafters next door with an expired prescription and this doctor was able to see me immediately. I walked out with a new prescription 15 min later. They were fast, professional and thorough. Im definitely using them as my primary optometrist.
