Like this shop design! Friendly service.I was given a to-go coffee cup instead of a for here mug. Coffee product is darker roast profile. The bag of Ethiopia coffee in the front of register area is not actually available for espresso or pour over. Disappointing. In fact, very little coffee selection. However, v60 is available. And music is great. Place is very clean and very comfortable to hang out here for some time. Prices are affordable!

I am so happy to have found this hidden gem in Memorial! This is one of my new favorite coffee shops in Houston—its super clean, the background music is really great for studying, friendly service, and fresh coffee. The shop is very cute and has tons of charging outlets. Most coffee shops tend to be downtown/Montrose/Heights so once again Im so glad I found one in Memorial :)

Friendly staff. Im a classic drip coffee kind of person. Just straight black coffee. Their daily drip is great. Good selection of treats as well. Just a good atmosphere inside.

This is a great place to get some work done. Its very quaint and quiet with great aesthetics. They use locally sourced coffee beans which gives the coffee a great taste. The only reason Im not giving it a perfect score is because it doesnt have as much personality as other shops Ive visited. Otherwise, its a cool place to grab a latte, post up, and get some work done!

Stopped by for breakfast on Sunday and got coffee and a blueberry danish. Staffers were very friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere was pleasant, with interesting original artwork on the walls. Drip coffee and ice latte were very good. Good little cafe!

Met Jake the manager today on my first visit here. Enjoyed the cortado and the espresso that is a mix of Columbian and Ethiopian. In house Roasted coffee.

My cortado was perfect, and the chocolate chip spice muffin was super delicious! Will definitely go back for more

Stopped in here with my brother on the way to our mom’s house. The cafe is really modern yet did have a cozy feeling. The drip coffee was really good, had a bold taste and fresh. All around I enjoyed visiting here and I will return again soon.Adam Bravman

This is possibly the best Americano I have found in the city! If you love coffee and dont always like the burnt coffee taste, this is the place for you...absolutely fantastic

A beautiful coffee shop, so clean and modern. A great place to meet up with friends or get some work/ studying done over a cup of coffee which is fantastic. They also have a good tea selection. It’s truly the perfect neighborhood coffee shop.

The coffee was DISGUSTING! I took one sip and threw it away! Their “Nutella Cinnamon” has just dry cinnamon and I have no idea what they refer to Nutella is but it doesn’t taste at all like Nutella. They don’t have much of a selection of syrups (not even the basic ones) and no white mochas. There is also only one size. My husband and I were very disappointed. We are really looking to find a local coffee place to support—this is definitely not it!

One of my favorite places to get coffee on the westside of Houston. Their lavender honey latte really hits the spot. I also cant stop by and pass up their blueberry muffins. They even ask if I want it warmed up!The owner does a lot for the community and other small businesses so I know my dollar goes further here.

The interior decor reminds me of one of the popular coffee shops near my alma mater. Not a coffee drinker, but I had a hot lemon verbena tea that was fantastic. If I ever make it back to Houston, I will be bugging anyone with me that we have to stop here again!For any coffee drinkers, this is a light/medium roast place. No dark roasting here!

Very cute shop and very good coffee. The owner is very active in the community and the clients all talk about how good the coffee is. My wife used the phrase coffee artistry. That should say everything you need to know. Keep up the good work!

Decided to check out this coffee shop because I had zero energy today and I needed some caffeine in my body.Ordered their iced soy matcha latte with a splash of vanilla (less ice). It is really good because it really boosted my energy. But it also left me with a bad stomachache. Im not sure what it is...They just opened up in October and the lady said they will be soon opening for dining in.Definitely a cute spot to catch up with friends or study. Bathrooms are clean. Plenty of parking.

Nice ambient but coffee was bitter and barista seemed to be learning how to make it. It also took a very long time to get ready as they poured out a few coffees trying to get it right

What a treat. While traveling thru Katy, TX wanted my caffeine fix. Was not in the mood for the usual options. (Starbucks etc) Found Verbena by accident....what luck! This place is great, their staff, their options and their service were on point.

Love the lattes here and the vibe of the shop. But I seriously hate the paper straws yall use. Can you buy the eco straws that are compostable plant based plastic instead? I don’t want to drink and taste paper, with my plastic cup anyway.

Ordered the basic vanilla iced latte with coconut milk and it was just right. Definitely not overpowered by sugar and made with smooth coffee. Also they offer straw-less cups!

Great spot to relax and get some fresh brewed coffee/espresso. Jacob and Nadia were working, both were friendly and made a great Americano. If you like good coffee and want to break away from the coffee chain, check them out!

I stop by this coffee shop almost every morning before work. I typically get a matcha latte. For such a simple drink it is made drastically different by the baristas. One of them makes the matcha latte so bad it is not worth the price at all. I love going to support a small business but it was so disgusting this morning that it made me want to buy matcha online and make matcha lattes at home. I really hate to give such a bad review due to one barista but the latte literally gave me a bad taste in my mouth.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops to go to. Even though I dont drink coffee I love their tea drinks. My favorite is their London fog. Its one of the best and has such great flavor. The people there are super sweet and helpful. I have no stayed there to work due to covid but it seems like a nice place to study. Just a bit small though. I would still highly recommend you check out this place.

I love the taste of their black coffee. Its really balanced, not bitter nor singed. You can tell that the roasters, who are local, take care to craft a high-quality smooth product.Their flat whites are consistent and delicious as well.Also, vibe is 10/10, cozy as hell.

Absolutely amazing local coffee place. The drinks are delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff was very welcoming. I visited during the pandemic and they seem very cognizant of the local health recommendations and took care to decrease contamination potential. Cant wait to visit again!

Great staff and great coffee. The staff know what they are doing and very knowledgable with the products. I always get the Mocha and it come out perfect every time. Definitely one of the best placed to grab a cup of coffee in Houston.

Apparently they dont accept cash, so I wasnt able to try their coffee. Would have been nice to know before driving from Old Katy. :(

Finally specialty coffee in Memorial! They serve specialty roasts from Austin and Houston. Ive only had their brewed and cold brewed coffee so far but they were really good. Owners are Memorial locals. One owner stopped and said hello as a friend and I had coffee in their patio.

Verbena Coffee is excellent. From start to finish, it was a pleasure working with them to lease them space at Memorial Shopping Center and watch their dream come alive. The space itself is beautiful and warm, and the coffee is really very good. We think Verbena Coffee is an excellent addition to Memorial and will be a great place for the community for years to come!

Don’t be deceived, it’s in a strip center but once inside you’ll forget you’re in strip center. Fun atmosphere, good coffee. Glad to have a non-green mermaid coffee shop in the area.

Truly lovely new place with a clean, airy ambiance, and a simple but ample coffee menu. Wooden touches, clean lines, and ceramic pots with succulents give the space a modern and slightly Scandinavian vibe, and the coffee is excellent. Dont miss this great new addition to the neighborhood.

Top notch lattes made by experienced baristas. They use locally sourced ingredients such as Milk King & Cleo Roasting Co. We needed a coffee shop of this caliber on this side of town. Not to mention, customer service is excellent!

Nothing remarkable about the place, service or drinks. Somehow it didnt feel cosy there. I liked the bathroom and a fact that there was a mouth wash there.

This cafe is very nice! What a joy to avoid gray weather to find yourself in a small space to rest!I went on a bad weather day, its cold too. But this new place gave me a warm feeling.Contemporary decorations, the winter spicy latte I ordered had the sufficient scent, and the beautiful design!Parking is easy, wifi is convenient, we have plenty of sockets for those who work.The toilets were also well cleaned.I have absolutely good experience!
