Dennis and the service technician went above and beyond to help me. It was unbelievable how much better everything was here. They also told me how they do things and what I should go back and ask for from the dealer I recently purchased my car from. I quickly realized that Dennis and team did things the correct way, putting the customer first and not their $$ profit. Wow! I can not say enough what a WONDERFUL experience we had at Volvo- West Houston. And it is 100% because of Dennis Rethwisch. Our son has been saving every dollar he has received from birthday/Christmas money to money he has earned from mowing lawns for the past 15 years. We have been dreading the thought of helping him buy his first car. Dennis went above and beyond to make this an enjoyable experience. Not only did we get a steal of a deal but he even went as far as replacing tires, changing the oil and having the smallest dent removed. Great experience with these guys. Drove over 3 hours to get there spoke with them on the phone before heading over. Adrian was my salesperson and also spoke with Jose the sales manager. We went over everything over the phone and not one thing changed once I got there. I was in and out of there in a timely manner. I had an issue with my 2017 XC90 and made a online appointment. When I showed up at 7 AM Dennis, the service representative couldn’t find my appointment and after investigating further I was one week early. My air conditioning wasn’t working but I understand that it was my fault so I started walking out the door. Dennis then stopped me and says we can make this happen and took my car in and actually got me a loaner car on short notice. The service and the communication was outstanding and can’t say enough things about this particular service group. I live closer to another Volvo service dealer but I choose to drive a little bit further to get the best service possible.

I have been going around telling everybody that I had the best car dealership experience I have ever had yesterday! We recently moved from Iowa and needed routine maintenance on our vehicle. For the love of God.. don’t use this dealership for any service. All I did was get a carwash and my license. Now I have no instrument panel or most of the features in HUD. This apparently includes most of the vaulted safety features… the dealership’s answer you ask. “ Turn the car off and back on”. Nope didn’t work. So I can drop it off tomorrow, but there’s no loaner or a set time they’ll look at my car … either I’ll be missing work tomorrow or driving by guess work.If you see an S60 driving way too slow or fast on the freeway, please scream out my speed. I have no idea what my speed is.

I cannot say enough how impressed I am of my experience in dealing with Volvo Cars West Houston for my 2015.5 S60. Felipe set me up with a beautiful XC40 loaner and kept me up-to-date with the repair progress, while Rich quickly diagnosed my engine light issue and had the part replaced under extended warranty (a pleasant surprise to me. Thank you both and Volvo Cars USA!). Rich also completed a couple of recalls that was outstanding on my car and a much needed four-wheel alignment. To top it off, my car came back freshly washed and detailed! The facility at Volvo Cars West Houston is modern, spacious, and very clean. Everyone I encountered were friendly and pleasant. We look forward to returning sometime next year to purchase our next vehicle.

This was our first purchase at this dealership. We worked with Dennis Rethwisch and have to say that the experience was truly enjoyable. Although we planned on shopping a little more, we thought we’d be back to purchase a car because of that experience. When we did return a week later to buy the car Dennis made the process as painless as possible, and then spent a fair amount of time explaining the features of the car so that we would feel comfortable in it and be able to enjoy it right away. He also noted that he could “deliver” the car two more times and to make a list of questions for our next visit.

No haggling, stayed late to speak with us and address all of our concerns, and the financing team was wonderful in their efforts to get us the lowest interest rate. They had MSRP on all cars and was open to show us everything and steered us away from a used car that was previously owned by a smoker. No additional fees at check out pertaining to security and anti-theft items they added to the car while on the lot. We went to a different Houston area Volvo and had a terrible experience with hierarchal salesmen trying to keep up from walking out the door and offering better deals, etc. In addition, they had mandatory fees for anti-theft items they added to secure the vehicle while on their lot. If you want a welcoming smooth car buying process, go to West Houston!

Dennis helped my husband & I when buying our first Volvo. It was a very enjoyable (and fast) experience. Dennis was very knowledgeable and made sure to explain every single feature/button inside the car, and all of the services we had available (like free car washes and free oil changes for the first 3 visits). Another local dealer tried to rip me off. West Houston Volvo did the repair for about a third of what the first dealer wanted to charge. Everyone at WHV was wonderful, friendly, and helpful.

This was my first time working with Felipe as service consultant. He was great - providing lots of updates and even tossed in a courtesy discount and map update. My wife saw the loaner car and said that is what she wants for her next vehicle. Easy drop off and pick up, not congested at all. I like this place.

The best bait and switch service department in Texas. Dont waste your time. They dont live up to the service contracts. They dont provide loaner cars. They dont coordinate with a client or customer.

The service department is no good, I would go somewhere else if you can. They do a good job taking care of my car but the hassle, wait and confusion to get to that point isnt worth it. You will not get a retuned call if you leave a message in the service department so dont waist your time. The service people are not informative and a little rude and non apologetic only excuses. Sometime people need to lean how to say a simple im sorry I would not recommend.

Came in for a tire pressure light 5 different times and was told that I just needed a top my tire pressure off when after the fourth or fifth time of coming finally they did a test on my tire stating hey theres a small leak you got to replace the tire but were right now well go ahead and plug it but its under warranty dont worry whenever you come back or if you have to come back hopefully you wont have to come back but if you do then well go ahead and take care of it then I went back for it because once again the tire pressure light came on and they said you tire is not under warranty and unfortunately its going to cost you three hundred and something dollars dont waste your time going here even spoke to the service manager Michael after Chris had messed up and all he did was ruined more time of mine versus actually trying to help with the issue saying Hey will go ahead and pay for maybe half the tire or something know all he wanted to do was argue thats not customer service thats Childs Play

They did a really good job om my car and took the time to do everything that I wanted done right. Kevin the mechanic working on my car did an awesome job I had a lot of things done to my car and there were a lot of problems that arose that happened whenever youre digging into a car that deep. I asked him to take his time and get it done right and he did exactly that and Ariel the service technician did a good job keep me informed with what was going on and what was to be expected.I highly recommend West Houston Volvo to get work done on your car.I will be returning for future work for the same location and the same mechanic

Chris and Michael at service have given us the worst experience Ive ever encountered in my entire life it makes me never want to buy a Volvo again it makes me never want on a Volvo again and they never understood the fact that the amount of time that they had taken in arguing and not recording properly appointments that were actually met and just saying its not in their system took away from me as a person as my family time and work time is way more important then their mistakes I highly do not recommend coming to this Volvo all they will do is Rob you of your money and waste your time including Felipe who also works there that had robbed me of my money stay away from this Volvo dealership by any means.

They simply ignored my email inquiries/phone messages.Also, i was using Costco Auto program, initially they told me they had some options available, they changed the reply to no options available in 2-3 days. Not trustworhy. Now I am gonna pursue with other dealership who are more responsive and honest than these people.

The best dealer service experience! They picked up my XC60, performed scheduled service, sent photos of the software being updated and returned the car all within four hours. They kept me informed during every step via text message. Ive had many cars from all the luxury brands (BMW, Mercedes, Porsche and Range Rover) and I must report I have never had a service experience at this level. Add to that scheduled maintenance is included in the price of the car, Im a Volvo fan.

Worked with Daniel Hensley on a few visits and follow up phone calls. He was honest, professional, and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend him to any family or friends.

The companys representatives are very hands-off. They give you the space to think and explore without pressing the customer. Chris was excellent in his juggling several customers but making you feel very important.They are sales folk and do everything that all car sales folk do, but even with that expectation there was no pressure. That made me relaxed and also put me in a frame of mind to not having to be on guard nor looking for the up-sale tricks.Overall a wonderful experience in a pristine environment. If anyone is looking for a volvo, I would enthusiastically recommend here. I was very pleased with my overall experience at West Houston Volvo!I have been looking for Volvo C70 for awhile and found one online at this dealership. Since I live in another state (PA) I was a little apprehensive about purchasing a car some 1000+ miles away. My first interaction with Brenden Holmes, who happened to answer the phone when I called was exceptional. With multiple emails and phone calls back and forth I finally have my C70. I found Brenden to be top notch and went above and beyond when communicating with me about this car. This experience was truly refreshing as I just purchased another car about 2 months ago and cannot say the same about my other experience. I am super pleased with my Volvo. I should add that I drove to this dealer even though there is a Volvo dealer closer to my home, but this one has such exceptional reviews, I chose to come here. They did not disappoint. My wife and I were not planning to drive out of the dealership last week with a purchase, but couldn’t help it because of the top tier experience we received. Our salesman, Jordan, sealed the deal for us. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and helped us pick one perfect for our family. I would definite recommend visiting this dealership if your interested in a new vehicle and ask for Jordan.

Wandered around for a while with my wife, no one asked if I had any questions or anything so I left. Maybe it was some kind of super low pressure sales teqnique, but I probably would have bought an XC90 recharge if there would have been a sales person around.

I took a 2017 s60 in for its 20000 mile maintenance. Scheduling and check was a breeze. While checking in I mentioned the car was going to be going on a 1,200 mile trip and to be sure to check the air pressure in the tires.It should be noted that Volvo says in this check up the tires should be rotated. Volvo West Houston says its only recommended and not covered by the warranty. I agreed to pay the $22 to the rotation.The work was completed and they complementary washed the car.On the drive home warning lights came on saying tire air pressure was low. After pulling over and visually inspecting the tires I continued on with the short drive home. Where I checked the pressure and recalibrated the sensors.My call to the service manager was sent to voice mail and no return call has been received.My 3 star rating represents an average, if not typical, experience a dealership.

First of all, West Houston Volvo cars is by far the best dealership I’ve ever been to. The staff is absolutely amazing especially Daniel (he is the only Daniel there you can’t miss him). My experience was exceptional and very fast. They also got me a really good deal, now I’m saving 117$ a month on my car note compare to my previous car note and you know that helps a lot especially during this pandemic. My wife and kids love the car and I absolutely love it as well. Thank you Volvo and big thanks to Daniel.

I enjoyed a great experience with the service desk. Felipe and Rich took great care of my V70R! The communication was good, the system to approve repairs was simple, and the team shows great passion for these cars. Ill be back.
